mdmzero0 Jeff-Er-Aay mdmzero0 My jazz band played the chicken last year when we went and did a tour in Europe. At the Montreux Jazz Festival some guy was dancing and singing along to The Chicken. I remember watching him as we played. xp We all dance while we play and stuff it's a JOKES song! We played it last concert our school did and we got the BIGGEST applause of them all YAY also we annoy my friend who playes the bass in it by going do do do do dododo DAH and he's like NO IT SHOULD BE DO DO DO DODODODO DOOOOOOO! LOL. We choreograph certain songs. We had an awesome ending to Sing, Sing, Sing. We also played a version of Hey Jude my conductor wrote, which was awesome. Not only was it a hit in the US, but when we went on tour everyone in Europe loved it too. We had them sing along at the end. It was great. xd Well the bit that makes it so great is that you have so muh FUN ^^ My jazz band is so much fun and easily the best of our school bands because we have fun! nd we're so GOOD :]

I just started playing in JAZZ Band to see what it was like, and i love it!
I play the trumpet, but I'm the only trumpet in our band. So, im usually swamped with solos!
One time i got stuck with playing two trumpet solo parts for one song!

this is my 2nd year playing trombone in jazz band. last year i played 3rd which was last and now i have to play 1st cause i'm the only trombone in the grade. ok so this last concert i had a solo and when i get nervous i play sorta quiet so it ended up that nobody except the 2nd trombone and the 1st tenor [but mostly cause he's my bf] so nobody clapped and they had confused looks on their faces and when we finished and left my face was all red. and so now my bd says that if i don't play loud for my solo for the spring concert he's gona put a mike up the bell

Our middle school doesn't have a jazz band... emo But I heard that one of the Drum Majors from the high school might start an after school one for his senior project, or something.

I play the Bari Saxophone for my Jazz Band! 'Tis exciting.
I always get solos because I art be pro like that... according to my Jazz Teacher... and everyone in my Jazz band enjoys solos on the Bari Sax because of the Low A! xd

HELP ME
My trumpet is in trouble.
The valves keep sticking when i play AND I CANT WORK OUT WHY!!!!!

I love jazz band. Currently I'm the lead tenor sax and I love the fact you can make stuff up and everyone thinks you rocked it. But bari sax is cool because people are like "whoa low note" lol

jazz band is probably the most challenging kind of music there is. and i love to play it. once you get more into its theory, there's nothing you can't do. as for me, i played in Jazz band for about four years. and i love it.

i love being in my middle school's jazz ensemble (7-8th grade)! we're playing this tottally awesome peice called Estero Sunset! it has a latin feel and the piano sounds like one of those metal caribean drums (i 4get the real name)

i love jazz band, even though certain songs are annoying, not all but some, the really slow ones with no point to it lol........j/k alittle

I play bass, and I think it's better to be in the rhythm section because we can have snacks during jazz band and you guys have to suffer. Jk, I love every part of the jazz band. I espically love the trumpet player that stands next to me. He's hot.

I'm in two differnt jazz bands. Well, the one thats called the jazz band I only fill in for concerts 'cause I can't make the rehersals, its very sad.
The other is technically a swing band...but we play jazz so its all good. I'm the 1st trombone(whoot!) and the soloist so I get plenty of practise with improvising. lol

DeadBloodyRose4U darthdude194 tenor sax is the best in jazz band it holds everything together and it always gets the solos(well not always but alot of times) Bari is cooler wink
