Tak-Jak You go in order. Every piece of writing reflects the theme in question, YET all the themes have to flow together.. Telling a story per say.
Seems hard, and well It is. I have been working on mine since June. It is now March.. and I am almost complete. Working on.. 81 I believe.
If you still dont quite grasp it, Go look at my project It is in the WIP Forum. It may give you a better understanding of the Project. Tak-jak, my dear, you've given the impression that your supposed to write all poetry, when you can actually write in any prose style you want. While I am an ardent advocate of the philosophy that hard and easy are relative, I am indeed finding it difficult to disagree with your ranking on the project. -Sigh- [ 3 and one half down, 96.5 to go. ]

But given in the starters rules, it is stated that you can write in any medium. I do believe I know my own contest, love.
And if you find it hard to disagree... why try?
But this very much so wants me to update my project.. I havent done so in a while.

It is a personal project, you are free to expand on your writing capabilities. In agreement, I tend to stick with poetry which is my personal strong suit, yet sometimes verse cannot speak the words in my heart.
Also, I only have 10 more themes to go!

The funny thing is, I have already started doing this. That's really interesting. It is fun, isn't it? And a little bit challenging.

So, we don't have to do it in prose or poetry, per se? Because I fail at both. I think I can manage doing most of them in differing styles, though. I assume it's okay to deal with your original characters?
EDIT: Also, is it acceptable if the 'story' ebing told is a disjointed sequence of memories, with present tense bits now and then?

Would three five-sentence paragraphs work for each theme? If so, I think it would be fun to make a "short" story out of the entire thing 3nodding Not only that, but it would actually challenge me a bit since I think an easier way of doing this would be writing a series of poems.

I'm here, I'm here. So sorry Shoujo, not many stay active with the challenge, it took me a whole year to complete. Anyways, the beauty of this contest, is that since it is so long, it can be written in any way, shape, or form. It adds to the creativity of the Author. By marking the way they chose to complete it, marks them in their own personal way.
I personally found myself switching between a random prose and poetry. So by all means, make it a giant short story.
