Ivy sat in the middle of her small peaceful fae grove out on a small secluded bayou; this was he sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday City of New Orleans where she had taken up residence, seeking to find those her demolished her homeland and forest; she was on a quest for vengeance and she would not stop until it was hers...

Looking down she cleared her throat.
"Jin that is an intresting name. Does is mean anything or is it from you place of birth, ancestors??? Anything?" ((Thankyou.)) "thank you............not that i know of"he said thinking "Oh, well thats what I get for thinking I guess."
Laughing she looked back down at the ground.
"What brings you to New Orleans?"

Ali watched as Destiny walked away towards the newcomer. She decided to stay where she was. Destiny had already done so much for Ali. She didn't want to ruin it. Instead she repositioned herself against a nearby tree and started to doze off.

Realizing that she had just walked off and left Ali Destiny excused herself from Jin's company and went back over to where she had first been sitting. "I am sooo sorry for just walking off like that. I am not really use to have two people that want to talk to me at once."
Sitting back down on the grass she sighed.
"I wish there was more going on in this town right now but with Marde Gras just ending the fun stuff has taken a bit of a break."

As Ali dozed off she noticed a figure approach. She fully opened her eyes to discover Destiny’s return. A slight smile graced Ali’s face, “Yeah, I wonder when this city will start to liven up again.” She yawn and looked over to Destiny, “So, did you learn anything interesting?” She was referring to Destiny’s new acquaintance.

Sighing she sat back down by Ali and idlely plucked at the grass.

Ali repositioned herself against the tree once more, and then started to doze off again. Her eyelids were heavy. Ali struggled to keep awake but the boring atmosphere made her incredibly sleepy.

The annoying honking of a nearby flock of geese caught Destiny's attention. They were flying out of the trees in the distance rather quickly.
Destiny knew that animals had a keen sence of danger. Tapping Ali on the shoulder she pointed at the flock.
"Do you think something scared them?"

Ali awoke with a jerk when she felt tapping on her shoulder. “Huh.. Whaaa..?” was her only reply. She looked up in the direction Destiny was pointing. She nodded. “I sure hope so. You want to go check it out?” Ali was eager to be relieved from the monotonous day.

"Well they are fleeing the bayou which is where most of the mosters like to sleep. Pleanty of hidding spots obviously."
Getting up she offered her hand to Ali to help her up.
"If this turns out to actually be something and we stummble upon something unpleasant do you have something to defend yourself desides me?"

Ali smiled and took Destiny’s hand as she rose from the ground. Brushing herself off she replied, “I have a few toys.” Ali giggled slightly. She had fought many of these creature and killed them. Street fighting was one of her few talents. Ali reached behind herself to check for her handgun and the small pouch that held her wire. They were both present. Her spindle was her favorite weapon. Of course whenever she used it she had to wear extremely tough gloves, but it was worth it. In a slightly sick way she enjoyed slicing through the creature flesh with such a tiny weapon.

"Nice, I am assuming that you can handle them well from the way you act, and just by the fact that you are carrying such weapons. I am glad that I am not going to have to watch out for you. But always remember I am a trained professional, if you need help I'll be there."
With that Destiny took one step and tripped over a tree root that was sticking out of the ground.
Picking herself up quickly she brushed herself off and cleared her throat.
"Whoa, ok moving on."

I hope I didn’t sound cocky, she thought worriedly. Ali was no professional, but she did have experience and determination. Up to now she led a hard life. There was no denying it. Ali kept a straight face as Destiny tripped over a root. She didn’t want to seem ungrateful. Not only had Destiny offered her a place to stay, but ever since they met Ali’s boredom began to float away.

"Alrighty then. Shall we walk, run, jog, or even skip? Whatever floats your boat I guess. Im glad we are close to the end of town. All of this down time has made me kinda lazy."
Straightening her shirt and skirt she started walking towards the sidewalk.

“Walking sounds good,” Ali replied as she followed in Destiny’s wake. She sped up a bit so that the two could walk side by side. “What do you think it might be?” There was no telling really. Anything could have scared those geese. More than likely it was one of the creatures they were in search of, but there was always a chance that some mean kid or loud machine that scared the geese off.
