"Well you weren't touching it, just all sitting there." She mumbled in reply. The look she returned him showed she was well aware of his temper beginning to show through and didn't care. Her cold grey eyes showed a significant strength of character not seen within many people at all. The kind of strength that she wouldn't back down from a confrontation with even the most intimidating, regardless of the obvious outcome not holding her in favour.

Unexpectedly, the pillar of strength held in her eyes dissipated and took her balance along the way. Leaning forward, she fell into the older man, instinct kicking in and grabbing him around the waist. Initially, she was expecting to land face first on the floor, but once her face made contact with Joe's chest, a giggle escaped her. After some moments, she pushed herself off him to reveal her bright red cheeks and glazed over eyes from being drunk while giggling uncontrollably.

"Come on, old man." She eventually blurted out as she slowly got over her fit of giggles. She playfully punched him in the abdomen before reaching out a hand to grab him by the wrist and tugged it back slightly. "Lets see if age has made you forget how to dance!"

The girl awkwardly turned around, pulling on his arm while she stumbled her way to the dance floor. The steady thumping beat from the music slowly getting louder seemed to even out her drunk state. While she was still blurry, her perception of coordination began to improve the closer she got to the music, bobbing uncontrollably to the beat while she made her way to the center of the now crowded dance floor.

Once they reached her destination in the crowd, she turned around to face Joe, a wide toothy grin on her face. Her body went with the beat and slowly her arms made a waving motion up, bringing them back down around Joe's waist before pulling back. She turned around and slowly took a few steps between beats then faced Joe again with an enticing smile to get his groove on.

"Because I know what I order.. "

He pointed out, ignoring the fact that she gave every indication of not backing down if it came to a confrontation.

He suddenly found himself with the teen leaning against his chest and clinging to him. A uncomfortable look crossed his face before he hugged her, making their situation seem more normal to whoever was watching.

He smiled a knowing smile at the drunk girl as she giggled. Her inexperience with alcohol put her at a rather nice disadvantage.

The smile turned to a frown as she took to calling him old again. As far as he was aware, he wasn't 'old' just older than she appeared to be. He sighed as he let her lead him to the dance floor. What had started off as him wanting to spend the night at the bar and maybe pick up some work, at least listen out for interesting information, had turned into him being on the dance floor.

He watched her dance infront of him for a moment, then joined her drawing her body close to his as he gave himself over to the music and the girl infront of him.

Eseen's body continued swaying to the music even while Joe pulled her closer. Currently the speakers were playing just a beat to signify transition between songs and she used it as the time to slow down slightly. The dancefloor was currently bouncing to the thumps casually while they waited to hear the melody kick in of the next song.

The girl raised her hand up to Joe's cheek and slowly pulled him down to face level, gazing in his eyes. She leaned in closer to his face and once they were mere centimetres apart, a hundred dollar bill popped up between them. A bright grin lit up on her face, suggesting she knew she was leading him on and teasing him. Truth be told, she was completely ignorant of what he was thinking at this current time other than dancing.

"This is for the drink, I think it was an expensive one." Her voice tone was slightly higher than normal to make sure she could be heard. The melody of the next song began and Eseen's eyes lit up. Shoving the bill into his collar, she pulled back only slightly. "Oh I love this song!"

Pulling away, she once again let the rhythm take over her body while the song's intro played through. The crowd took over slightly as she had left enough of a gap between the pair for someone to butt in. While she wasn't lying about enjoying the current music, she was also in a state where it didn't matter what was playing on the floor. Everything sounded good at this point.

~Leadstorm took the shots and put one of them in front of Trau. ((Equal Parts Jagermeister and Rumpleminz)) "Allright, I'll start the exchange. What mission are you on, and what is the next step in your path to accomplishing it?" He downed the brownish shot and took a pull off the bottle the bartender had brought as a chaser.~

Trau nodded. "That's a fair enough trade." He cleared his throat, and then took the shot glass. "As corny as it sounds, I came into town looking for the yellow-belly b*****d that shot my pa. Or, more precisely, who hired the Germans to shoot my parents. The first step: Find a Japanese-based Ziabatsu that has close German contacts. I have the first name...or alias...of the hired gun...he...trained me." Trau took the shot, downed it in a swig, grunted, and then grabbed the chaser. "I'll make it simple: Same question, but leave out the part about finding a netrunner; I know that." He pulled on the chaser.

~Leadstorm motioned for the bartender to bring him another shot. "I'm looking for some revenge, too actually. I'm looking for those responsible for the genocide of my pack. I've already found out the corporation behind it, and was actually planning a bit of sabotage when I came across an experimental bike being loaded up form one of their R&D buildings. Before I had the chance to move, the docking station was attacked by 'Chromers, One thing lead to another, and I ended up stealing the semi with the bike on it in the hustle. That should answer the second question you must undoubtedly have, as to why the 'Chromers want me disconnected." He finally stopped to take a breath from his explination and took the shot, followed by another drink of the chaser bottle. "do you know why your father was murdered?"

The bartender held the bottle out toward Trau, but he began to shake his head 'no.' He paused. Shook his head 'yes.' It wasn't like he had to drink all of it at once, was it? Trau looked to Leadstorm, "Yeah, that question did pop into my mind. I mean, guys that big, mean, and ugly don't just chase random nomads around the city for no reason..."

Trau paused, and then smiled. "Well, I suppose they do...but I was sure there was some reason they were after you." Trau traced his finger around the outer rim of his shot glass, and then picked it up and sniffed it. He looked back to Leadstorm.

"About my father. Honestly, I was 8 at the time...I really don't remember much. Hell, I can't even remember where I lived. The Germans did a hell of a job on my hardware." Trau tapped the side of his head with the fist that wasn't anticipating the on-coming shot. "I know that I lived downtown. I know my father worked for a company that sounded Japanese. I know my father was a research scientist who apparently did something wrong or didn't do something...I don't know."

Trau tried to think back to that night, but he'd pushed it aside so long that it became faded like an old photograph; you remember being there, and you remember who else was there, but, for the life of you, there is something missing...the picture isn't complete. Same thing with this memory...he remembered who was there, he remembers what he was doing, he just couldn't remember anything else. Blockage. Mind-Stop. He shook his head, and then looked up. "The man, albeit cold and hard, conveyed my father's employer's anger quite well." Trau took the shot hard, and then coughed.

"The hit man's name was Jürgen. I stress was." He ran the chaser. "What type of sabotage, and what beef does the Chromers have with this company?" Trau coughed. "Sorry, that was two."

He had no problems believing she was flirting, thus was taken by suprise when she planted the money on him. Truth be told, he had hoped she'd let him push her into spending the night with him in exchange for him forgetting about the drink she'd stolen.

figures He thought whilst dancing. I get stuck with the girl who's too honest for her own good.

Yet, he kept his thoughts to himself, smiling as she proclaimed to love the current song. He wondered for how long she'd love it before the alcohol in her system remembered her. From past experience, dance floors plus foreign substances made an interesting combination and the lights flashing certainly did not help the situation.

Somewhere in the back of his mind he wondered why he cared what happend to the girl but realised it wasn't so much caring as hoping that he'd stand a chnance with her.

Mark finished his third shot, picked up his minigun and headed back towards the door. Even though nothing was really going on, at the moment, he still decided to head back to his post. Upon reaching his post he re-mounted his minigun on his arm and checked to make sure his ammo and tripod were still in his bag, they were.

Aleister dropped his grin as he stepped through the main entrance. He gave the bouncer a flat look as he passed, sizing him up in a glance, but not lingering long enough to make a challenge of it. "maybe later..." he mumbled to himself after he'd made his way into the club proper.

Inside, Aleister sniffed the air, and glanced around the main room while making his way towards the bar. The place was already starting to fill up with bodies, the smell of sweat and synthetic liquor would soon be thick enough to taste as you breathed it in. It was a heady aroma, one of his favorites, all it needed was a little blood to really whet his appetite, it excited him, like a pheromone cocktail. But it was still early, and it he figured he could use a drink or six while he waited for the night to unfold.

Finding a place for himself at the bar (he managed to do so without having to make any overt threats, his grim appearance and muscled frame set the average clubber on edge, most made way for him once they got a good look at him and generally didn't look a second time.) Aleister didn't really bother looking over the wall, he ordered a shot of gin, and told the bartender to leave the bottle, slotting a stolen credstick to cover the expense. He downed the shot, poured himself another, downed that one, and sighed, turning and leaning against the bar, bottle in hand, elbows propped up behind him.

He made a fairly ugly sight, slouched against the bar. Stray hairs from his unkempt mohawk spilled over his face, which was scarred, and only approached a rugged handsomeness if it wasn't crossed with a scowl or a cruel grin. One eye was hidden behind a tinted eye patch and the other was obviously of human design and divided a crooked scar. The rest of him more or less followed suit.

Satisfied with his current post Aleister made plans to spend the next half-hour or so finishing his bottle and watching drek-head clubbers dance their little asses off. Something interesting was bound to happen... eventually...

Leadstorm cracked his neck, then looked at trau again. "So how do you know the gypsies?"~

Trau nodded. "I know them from a few cities over; I happened to be hired out on a security mission to eliminate a booster gang. The booster gang happened to be bullying a small group of the gypsies, including the old man, Ruke Chavez. I took care of the booster gang, the gypsies took care of me. We seem to run into each other fairly often. It was just chance that they happened to be in town...hell, I was going to take you to a shelled-out toy store before I spied them." Trau signaled to the bartender. "Water?" He looked back to Leadstorm, "What company is your target?"

((I actually hadn't thought up a name for them yet. They were just the nameless, faceless, ruthless company that destroyed my character's life...)) ~Leadstorm let out a sigh. "The Mikato Conglomorate" escaped his lips softly. "What company did your father work for, and morre importantly, have you seen any prospects to fill my open 'Runner position?" He Glanced around the crowd.~

Trau shrugged. "The only runners I've ever worked with wore business suits-- real corporate a*****e types. As for the company...hell, I don't know. The company name, anyway." Trau searched his pockets for cigarettes. If Trau thought real hard, he might have been able to remember the company logo printed on his dad's briefcase, but all the name...all the memories...all the companies he's worked for...they've blurred together. He found a cig, popped it in his mouth, and then looked up. "I do, however, remember dad's boss. Herr Maeda. Mr. Maeda. Whatever." He lit up.

Mark watched as Aleister entered the club, he was a big guy who shot a glare at Mark. As the man made his way the the bar Mark felt like watching him but decided to not draw so much attention to one clubber at a time. He then rolled his shoulders and shifted his minigun, the big 50. caliber spitting hunk of metal could seem quite menacing.

He noticed the room was starting to get more and more crowded as people entered the club. The main room, especially the bar area was getting louder he was glad that at least there were sound dampeners around the dance floor, which was probably the loudest area in the room.

Trau laughed. "A nasty personality, eh?" He paused and glanced around the room. It was starting to fill up quite nicely, but many of the faces looked a little rough around the edges to haunt the net. A butcher shop, maybe, but not the net...not in any serious way, anyway.

Trau scanned the crowd, looking for a ghostly face, a face that's seen little daylight and a whole hell of a lot of grid. A face that was as cold as ice. He took a drink, and then turned back to Leadstorm when a thought suddenly occurred to him; something he passed off on first hearing, but as he though about it, it caused confused questioning. "Wait, you actually still have the bike?"
