"I'll have to do what?" Rude's voice was deeper than usual, still bogged down by sleep, as he leaned in the doorway to Reno's room.
"Finally decide to drag your a** out of bed?" He laughed before reaching up to tugg Kaleb down on the couch with him. "We have company for breakfast"

Kaleb yelped in surprise as he was grabbed and pulled onto the couch, landing half in Reno's lap. He was also surprised at the rather informal invite for breakfast, he had been maybe an hour away from fixing himself lunch back at the apartment. "H-hi Rude," he said after a second.

Reno tugged Kaleb properly into his lap and leaned back against the couch.
"Drag you over here to fix him up?" He walked toward the couch as he spoke and eyed the two of them.

Kaleb had tried to wiggle into a less compromising position on the couch, until Reno made it clear where he was wanted. "Y-yeah, kind of," he said as he blushed a bit, technically he came on his own without being dragged.

He grunted and headed for the kitchen. "You get what you ask for partner"
"I don't remember complanin." He huffed before setting his muzzle on Kaleb's shoulder. "Besides .. you're the one who tied that s**t to tight"

Kaleb squirmed a bit, trying to get comfortable in Reno's lap without squirming too much. The conversation itself had just passed beyond what he was able to understand, so he stayed quiet.

"With the way you were twisting around i tied them as tight as i needed to." He was digging around in Reno's kitchen looking for whatever he could to make breakfast out of. Or maybe lunch would have been better.
"You like it when i squirm" He grinned and looped both arms around Kaleb's waist. "You should be careful what you say around Rufus. I have a feeling you caused some trouble for Tseng"

Kaleb stopped wiggling when he felt Reno's arms around his waist. Now he was well and thoroughly trapped. With a bit of a sigh he let himself relax so he could lean his back was against Reno's chest, and was surprised to note that it was a comfortable position.

Kaleb blushed, he was actually rather embarassed at having snapped like that the night before. He shook his head. "I-I slept okay. But you're right, I-I probably shouldn't have talked to Rufus like that last night." He managed to slip down a bit in Reno's lap so his head could rest more comfortably against the redhead's shoulder.

"I do it all the time." and generally it got him exactally what he was asking for though it was good that Rufus hadn't really done any of that to Kaleb. "We all back talk him ... it's part of how he knows we're good at our job"

"Well i didn't say they would be bad problems." He turned his head just enough to be able to look at Kaleb. "Rufus was pretty hot when you left so him and Tseng probably went back to the Bosses place and ******** eachothers brains out."

Kaleb's face went bright red as he realized what Reno had meant by problems. "O-oh," was all he could think to say in response. He had thought Rufus had just been teasing him, and he certainly wouldn't have imagined that conversation could have had that kind of effect.

He laughed as Kaleb blushed again. "Yea .. Rufus is just as kinky as i am, only he hides it better" Mostly because Reno didn't hide anything.
"Plus Rufus get's like that when someone gets the jump on him. Tseng and the Boss have been together for a ******** long time so they get all touchy feely if one of them gets hurt"
