Scarlet Kyta you went over the limit, but because you only did it by one line i'll let it slide...It is pretty good... DEADLINE IS NOT FAR AWAY; JULY 16TH! HURRY AND GET YOUR ENTRIES IN!!!oh no! just kidding..........i think i got a very good chance... Would all judges you haven't judged my poem o rated it (which would be all of them stare ) please dop so it is on the first page of this topic. THANXS

Good, all of them, very good. Remember the system, twenty is the lowest and one is the highest...I'll tell you now though that I shall not let anyone know my final ratings until a week and a half after the deadline...All these good entries, it shall take time to decide...Right after my deadline though, I shall post one of my poems and you all can rate it yourselves...sound good?

Goodbye isn't Forever
Things have change. As the saying goes, nothing in this world is permanent. We all have to move on with our lives. Friends come and go.
Mia and Maya have been friends since they could remember. They shared everything and did all things together. They could never keep secrets from each other and whenever one has a problem, the other one was always there to help. They were neighbors and they studied in the same school. Both of them have the samelove of knowledgeso both of them garnered awards. Yet there was no competition between them. The other would be very happy for the other's achievements. You could never see them apart. When they graduated from elementary, they both transferred to the same school. Their bonding was really incomparable.
The day of the graduation came. Joy and happiness were traced upon the faces of each other. Everyone, except them. Both of them knew what awaits their friendship. Mia has to continue her studies in another country, which means they would be apart for the first time of their entire lives. Mia has to stay there for 12 long years to take up medicine. Maya was very unhappy. She would lose her only friend. Her best friend...
The most dreaded day came, the day when Mia would leave> though Maya was very sad, she did not let her emotions overcome her. She tried to keep herself composed. She should be strong for Mia. The first year was very hard for them but as years passed, they learned to adjust to the situation. They never lost their communications and they continued to tell each other's secrets and problems. After 12 years Mia came back. They are still best friends and it doesnt seemat all that they have been physically apart from each other for some time.

Life Story
Is there such thing as true happiness,
Is there really eternal emptiness,
Can someone possess true lovelyness,
Or complete and utter sadness,
People fall into each category,
And it shapes there whole life story,
Then there are those who get caught inbetween,
They are the ones lucky to have seen,
The difference in each place,
The rules are different in their case,
Because they can choose where to go,
Whether it be to or fro,
They make their future for themselves,
While others lives are sitting on shelves,
Collecting dust and staying the same,
'Cause their time has never came,
They have no choice in the matter,
As they listen to the fates chatter,
About what will happen with their lives,
Wether they kill themselves with knives,
Catch colds, fall down or reach an old age,
Each part of their lives is on different page,
Of a book that was finished for them long ago.

That man on the side of the street
Always down-trodden and beat,
Looked at you with teary eye
As if to ask why
That he was ignored day by day
As other's went on their way
Just a little smile
Would make him happy awhile
That night while you prayed,

God then said to help this man
to do all you can
After you did you bought your way
Into heaven that day.

Life travels before my eyes
Full of darkness between the lines
The Scars of my wounds will heal
But the pain shall fall down and kneel
Lucifer is awakened by my touch
As my hands burn in his clutch
He says" Dearest child your blood is cold
Your Porcelien face I cant bare to hold
Dearest Child share thoust pain
To rid thy misery and any shame
"Dearest one I will not betray you
But I fear a path might be lead
My heart has been torn by lite
My darkness fearing ran out of site
A choice had to be made by the end of my sun
A choice between My Pet and thoust dearest one
The choice...My choice cannot be made
"Dearest child my love for you is pure and strong
And I will be with you from dusk till dawn
Our souls are conncected as if life and death
But I cannot be your hero for anymore quest
My spirit will always lift you during sorrow
Our raven will always be there to follow
Cresent the Nile with her vivide waves
Know that I will never be to far away
"Dearest one you soar through me like air
Catching my breath with only a glare
My Pet can be untaimed and wild
But with time and paticence so be like your child
As I seek the moon at its brightest of the nite
I know your with me as though in site
Releasing me high above the sky
I'll always think of you soaring much more high"
We share our thoughts and rid our pain
And with that we haev much more to gain
Lite as a feather, Dark as the Nile
Nothing can break us not even for miles
Vivide as the stars of the nite glow
Shimmer the diomands our hearts will flow
As the Sirius passes before the eye
A deep sleep upon you unbearable I cry
Forever in my heart you will always rise
Never will you be in the darkness of the lines
As I lose your smile I gain your love
Forever you'll soar through me up above.
