When I joined... I was kinda not in tune with the Gaian wave. Before I was an ATer, though not a very active one. I had seen the sniper game... twice before I joined; once in the middle of game one, and again in the signups of game two. I payed it no mind, because I was an Ater just passing through the GCD to get to the AT. Then I lost the pw of my 1st account and my email address was long dead, so I was really depressed. So I started my 2nd account. My 2nd account I purely earned gold to donate to others. I found pleasure in making others happy. But some events occured causing me not to go on that account anymore, despite the fact that I wanted to go on gaia. So I moved over to my mule (this account), which was named ChiyoKitty, and I wanted to go with the Kitty theme, thus I decided upon the name "Kitty Krazy". Since I was basically starting another account, I wanted to start fresh, so I chose the GCD as my place to lurk/occasionally post. And it just so happens that the first day I went into the GCD was the signups for the 4th sniper game, and I noticed it and thought "I've seen that board before! I think I'll try joining and see what it's like. ~"

Okies, now that I covered the story of how I met the sniper game, I'll cover first impressions.
Hmm... when I joined I still wasn't much of a poster, so when I first joined, I just plain looked up to everyone since they were just chatting away with no problems. I was still kinda n00bish when I joined (Okay, I was n00bish, I'll admit it >.<). I got really annoyed when I finally built up the courage to try posting, and everyone just ignored me completely. I had a few fits of anger, which probably gave off a bad first impression. It made me feel really unwanted until someone explained to me that it wasn't that everyone was ignoring me, but that they probably didn't notice me since the topic went so fast. Then I started going on in the mornings when there were less people on, so I could actually keep up with and be in conversations and such. I'm not sure when I started gaining confidence that what I said would be noticed, though. Over time I learned more about gaia in general, and how I should act and how I shouldn't act.

Basically all in all, the sniper game helped me mature into a normal contributing member of the gaian society. YAY! ^.^
