Koori let out a startled screech as she was lifted out of the water.
"Whaaaaa! For ******** sake Yuki!" She swung hard and whapped him in the head, which in turn threw her off balance and sent her tipping backwards.

Yuki tried to grab Koori as she fell, but he missed by a split second. The vampire winced as she toppled into the water with a loud splash. Without hesitation, (while he didn't need to breathe, he was sure that she'd be a bit stuck without air), the vampire ducked underwater and wrapped his arms around her, bringing her back to the surface.
His hair dripping wet around him, the vampire smiled at her, an inch away from her face. "That was a very absurd thing to do."

Koori tried to grab hold of something to prevent her from falling into the water again, but failed to reach anything in time. So instead she sucked in a breathe of air and smacked into the water. Her eyes were closed tightly and her cheeks puffed out a bit while she was under water, but she was soon brought back to the surface. She opened her eyes when she heard Yuki's voice.
"Well I didn't do it on purpose!" She scowled at him. A moment later the scowl disappeared and her cheeks went bright red again. She just realized the spot she was in: pressed up next to an almost naked vampire out in the surf and clinging to him for dear life. She blinked a few times and grew, if at all possible, even more red.
"Oh my..."

Yuki chuckled as her face became a brilliant red color. "You wouldn't have fallen if you hadn't tried to hit me." He pointed out, amused. The look on her face was so...he tried to think of a word. Adorable? In an incredibly flustered way, he supposed. Well, rather than waste the moment...he smirked to himself, wondering how she would take it.
The vampire leaned forward and kissed her lightly on the cheek. "You're a very silly person, Miss Kiwadoi." He said, whispering in her ear.

Koori froze as Yuki leaned in closer. When she felt his lips on her cheek, her grip around his waist tightened and her mind went all fuzzy. Part of her said to get away as fast as she could, but the other part was screaming at the first to ******** off. Chills ran down her spine when she felt his cool breathe on her ear.
"Th... Thank you?" was all she could form into words at the moment.
((And yes, I'm trying to remember Twilight and such... It makes it soooooo much better XD ))

Yuki laughed to himself, amused at his ability to charm and fluster, unconsciously taking in the scent of her neck as he pulled away to look at her face. Of her blood. His eyes widened with a start, and he pushed away from her, swimming backward a few feet. Oh, no, bad...bad bad timing.
He sank himself down into the water, so that only his eyes and the top of his head were in view. The water muddled the senses. In a few minutes...well, maybe he'd be able to get it out of his system.
If he didn't...
'Well, that's an issue to resolve later, I think.' He thought.

Koori was jolted back to her very soggy reality as Yuki pushed away from her, and her water logged clothes dragged her under the water. Along with the rush of watter, the instant shock she felt of getting shoved away like some disgusting bug was flushed out of her mind. Koori's mind was preoccupied with staying afloat... She dog-paddled hard to get back to the surface, gasped in a fresh breathe, then attempted to swim back to shore... At a exhaustingly slow pace... In fact half the time the current pushed her back out.

Yuki couldn't help but feeling incredibly guilty...lower than the lowest thing created, as he watched Koori struggle to shore. 'Can you really just watch as she damn near dies?!' He yelled at himself, disgusted. '...if I help her, I might...but if I don't, she'll surely be pulled under...'
He couldn't bear the thought. He couldn't let another person die because he was too weak.
The vampire ducked underwater and swam powerfully to her. Staying underwater, so that he wouldn't be able to smell her in any way, he wrapped an arm around her waist, and kicked to the shoreline.
Making sure she was safe, he backed up a distance, his hand placed tightly over his mouth and nose. "I'm sorry." He murmured, muted by his hand, looking guiltily in the other direction.

Once she was able to reach the sand, Koori stood up and sloshed her way up onto the beach, dripping like a wet cat. She turned around to say thank you, but Yuki was back out in the water, not looking at her. Why was he acting so strange.
"Yuki? Whats the matter?" She asked. Then it hit her. He was a vampire after all. Hurriedly she scrambled mack up the beach to where her basket was, scooped it up, then dashed to hide behind a nearby tree: Her fear of dark creatures getting the better of her yet again.

Yuki sighed as she hid behind the tree. Honestly, he knew it was for the best, but...
Well, it was times like these he damned his existence.
"Miss Kiwadoi?" He called, lowering his hand so she could hear. "...you can come out now. I'm going to leave, so you can go about your business without my...inconveniencing presence, alright?" The vampire made his way to his discarded belongings and put his cloak back on, drawing the hood up. Holding his boots in one hand, he began to trudge down the beach, sighing to himself.

Koori peered around the tree and watched him trudge down the beach. She opened her mouth to say something, but decided against it. After Yuki was out of sight, she turned around and slumped down to the base of the tree. There was a not in the pit of her stomach and she felt guilty about letting him go.

Several hours and several pints of blood later, Yuki made his way back to the beach. Feeling no better about himself, he decided that it was for the best that he followed through with his suicidal plot. He wasn't meant to exist, and he only damaged those around him by being alive. ...if that's what you would call living off the lives of others.
He slowly stripped himself of his clothing, laying them down neatly on the sand. Maybe someone would want them after his ashes had floated away with the rising surf. Clad in nothing but his pants, he settled in on the sand to await morning.
...he missed the sun, and now he would greet it for the first time in decades. For the last time in eternity.

Seishou and Jayme walked side-by-side in silence until they arrived at the beach. Jayme had a million things running through her mind, yet Seishou tuned her out, want Jayme to be the one to reveal her troubles. They ceased strolling when they reached a rather large boulder near the ocean's edge. Jayme opened her mouth to speak, but stopped herself, trying to figure out how to word it.
"Go ahead Jayme Torrence Hitori. No wording can be incorrect or alienate me. Speak what is on your mind child." Seishou gave a warm smile and awaited Jayme's response.
Tears began to well up in Jayme's eyes as she began relaying her boy troubles and her past. "Things were fine until he showed up! I was beginning to get over everything; my parents and his death, but then he comes back from the grave and expects me to just welcome him with open arms!" She began shouting at this point. "He's suppose to be dead. He's a ghost to me. And now with Malachai in the picture Michael is fuming at him and won't give him a chance just because he thinks that I can't be with anyone else but him! I hate him so much right now!!" Her face was red with anger, but her eyes revealed her true thoughts.
Seishou paused before speaking, keeping that calm aire of hers about her. "Jayme, you do not hate Michael. He is your angel, your guardian angel. Never again will you find the love that is hidden deep inside of the pair of you. Malachai is a handsome man, yet there is a darkness behind his goodness. Michael is not entirely incorrect about the sir. Please show no anger towards me for I speak the truth and you know in your heart of hearts that my truth is pure and good."

In a whisper Jayme replied. "How do you know all of this?" She stared into Seishou's eyes, searching for the answer.
"Sweet one, I can see into your very soul. My mind is somehow connected directly with yours. I have felt these emotions that you experience from the exact moment of our meeting. We have a previous connection I am sure of it." She shifted her feet, allowing herself to rest on the rock.
Jayme sat down next to her. "I suppose you are right then. I do love Michael, not that I don't like Malachai, but he could never replace Michael. It's just, there's something about Malachai that's irresistable. Okami warned me about him just like you and Michael. And that night I met him, he did something to Koori, like a trance or something. Oh my god! Is that what he did to me too?!"
The two were interrupted at that point by a familar figure lurking in the shadows. "Never. I don't need to cast my spell to hold you to me. You are in love with me and me alone, Jayme. We are one. Two of a kind. There is no separating us do you understand?"
Jayme jumped, while Seishou remained still, she had anticipated his arrival, even with his spell attempting to block her telekinesis. "What?! Get away from me Malachai. I can't believe you! Everything was because of you. I should have trusted them...well now I am!" She was defiant and headstrong at this point. "Goodbye Malachai. We are done. There is no longer any we. Seishou has opened my eyes and allowed me to see the true you. Evil, self-centered, bigotted, jerk. So just STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!!!"
Seishou rose to her feet and motioned to Jayme to walk away with her. The two strutted away leaving Malachai without a chance to explain or seek revenge.

Glissa raced past Kirai and never looked back. She only focused on the various objects wizzing past her as she ran down the road that led to the beach. She breathed steadily, in time with the sound of her heels hitting the dirt. It didn't mater to her that she was wearing platform stilleto boots. Even at that speed, she knew exactly where to safely step. After about ten minutes, Glissa reached the edge of the town, and shortly after that the beach. She came to a stop at the edge of the trees and turned around to finally look back for Kirai.
