I had to put my older rat, Spike, to sleep this morning, which is very sad.

And I got a new rat, Opal (short for Opium), to be a companion to my other rat, MJ (short for Mary Jane).

So I'm both sad and happy right now.

May I ask why two of your rats are nick named (or seem to be) after narcotics? o.0

Both of my rats are named after drugs because it amuses me to do so. They have nicknames that aren't about drugs so we can talk about them to my fiancee's parents.

I'm thinking that if I get a bigger rat cage for Christmas, I'm might also have rats called Cid (Acid), Button (Peyote Button), Salvia, Snow (Cocaine), Smokey (Smokey McPotHead) and/or Adam (which turns out to be a nickname for Ecstasy - I couldn't use the nickname I know for it since it's too close to my name).

I haven't really done all that many drugs (at least not compared to people who are serious about their drug use), but I find it really funny to name my rats after drugs.

I would name them after demons, but I would worry it might make them mean. And pets named after gods and goddesses seem to turn out weird (and usually missing or dead within a couple years). The rats I've named after drugs are sweet and healthy (so far).

Call one Seth!

I don't know, he might try to take over the world or something. *wink*

Atleast you have a logical explination XP

I'm not complaining, just asking. I name most of the characters in my RPGs (final fantasy, etc) when I can fate rhorrible slangs and slurs. Its funny to see Vincent from FF7 call himself a Whore Bag

My brother and I HATED Tidus from FF-X. In one of my brother's games, his name was "Douche".

I didn't think you were complaining. The reason I've continued with the rat/drug theme is because I think it's amusing. MJ was named by my youngest brother, while we were really high.

Because he was whiney?

I honostly liked him. He was diffrent from most of the other characters that had come in the previous games. Both Cloud and Squall were emos (badd asses though) and Zidane was a prep. Tidus seemed far more normal. Every one I met who hated him said he was a whiney little girl. I simply had to think about it all as i played the game and uncovered the plot. Okay, you grew up with a d**k for a dad (mind you he seemed to want to do the right thing, but didn't) who only wanted to play biltzball, he then left on some mystic quest with out so much as a goodbye and never came back. You grow up fairly normal, even become the star player for one of the best teams on the planet. You grew up in a beautiful city, loved by all young and old alike, and had a really nice home. Then, one day it all comes crashign down aroudn you. Your city is torn apart by this mysterious being named Sin and this guy you knew growing up hands youa sword and expect you to fight. At the end you're torn form your world and thurst into another that is apparenlty a thousand years int o the futrue. Your city is gone, nothign more then prayed over ruins and every one you talk to seems to think your crazy or poisand. You run into fight after fight and now have to deal with a scociety that sees almost every thign you do and beilive as a taboo. Then, you later find out that monstous being is your father. Then later you find that you are nothign more then a corpereal manifestation of a spirit's dream, that you basicly exist only in imagination, that your thoughts may not even be your own, that every thign youve done back in your city may have happened only because it was dreamed to happen. But, with all of this, you still manage to keep a bit of an optimistic attitude. Still though, with all things considered, wouldn't you be the least bit whiney?

Tiger: I agree with you about Tidus, but his voice actor was ANNOYING.

Not just because he was whiny, but also because he was quite stupid. I understand the whole jock thing, but he could have been a bit brighter.

But then, I liked Cloud and Squall. *shrug*

I honostly really didn't think so. I thought it was a good atempt for Squar's first atmept at a voiced over Final Fantasy.

He was in a world completly diffrent then his and didn't understand muchof it or why some people just diodn't have the balls to stand up. He wasn't stupid, he was a bit ignorant and completly head strong. Just liek almost all of FF's heros rofl

Tidus wasn't trained to be a worrier. Cloud and Squal were. Tidus had the mind of a biltsball player and an average joe. He was then ripped into a world he knew nothign about and expected to fight pretty much

Cloud was trained by Shinra. He was trained with battle tactics, combat knowledge, etc. He was trained to be a foot soldier and so had the mind of one, but was also an indipendent thinker. One other thing is that he had been introduced to Mako, which slightly hightend his sences. When he quite Shinra, he joined with AVALANCHE and so commited himself to gurialla ware fare and hit and run tactics as well as terrorism. This would also provide hm with experience for the more grittier disorginised fighting.

Squall pretty much grew up in Balamb Garden, trainng to be part of the merc orginisation SEED. He was trained with almost eleite battle tactics and honed his skills almost constently. He trained agianst monster sna humans alike allowing himto be prepared for almost any sort of fighting or warefare.

Really...i would go so far as to say that Squall and Cloud were cut almost form the same mold with diffrent training regiments and methods. Probably why I didn't like 8 too much. I know there were alot of things diffrent...it just didn't feel too diffrent. Music was awesoem though. Eyes on Me is one of my favoright instrumental peices by Nobou.

The voice overs were fair enough - I liked the voices. But I did find his voice irritating a lot of the time.

Then again, I found Yuna's VA irritating too. XP But I still like the game.

I disagree, at least to some extent. I don't think all Pro-Choicers manage to keep emotion out of their responses.

I always did want to be a Vulcan. But that might have been because they got to learn the coolest pressure point tricks. *wink*
