"Maybe we can get one from there next year. Don't go and have a cow, Ri," Koko, once again, joked.
"Kari." And from Koko came a mutter: yeah, yeah.
She laughed a little at Ceri, "It is a pretty big tree, I guess." The thule was being a little distracted. It confused her a little why Myze wasn't really doing much, or talking to anybody. Maybe it would be better if she said something first, though.
Now, if only she new what to say.
"So, uh, Myze," she started rather cluelessly. "What do you think? About the tree, that is." That was lame, she scolded herself mentally.

Ecavi smiles meekly, then takes a seat on the couch- watching Koko and Kari.
"You going to explain?" she asks quietly.
Ceri laughs and, releasing Kari's hand, grabs more garland, "Kaaaariiii~" She coos, repeating after Kari's correcting Koko.
"Ceri!" Ecavi says, getting up and going over to her and pulling the garland from her hands. She picks up the day thule and heads back to the couch with her.
Myze eyes Kari silently for a moment, then finally speaks up, "I found it." A thule of few words, she feels this explains what she thinks of it.

"Well, you certainly have an eye for good trees, I must admit," the comment showing her true organic-loving self. Koko would call her a tree-hugger, definately. She looked at Koko to answer 'cavi's question, nontheless.
Of course, neither one of them understood that well either.
"Oh, right, the explanation." Now it got a little awkward.
"I'll try my best to explain, as I said before, but, believe me, it gets a little confusing," she twiddled her thumbs a bit. "I think the easiest thing to say would be, that, well, the reason there is no seperate Kat and Ri is because their bodies merged, like some freak scientific accident in the movies."
She pathetically tried to put a playful spin on it.

Myze nods indifferently and leans back against the cushion of the couch to listen to the explanation.
"Ok," Ecavi pauses, trying to hold the squirming Ceri still for a moment so Koko is free to explain. Then Koko explains it and she just stares for a moment.
"Ri cookies!" Ceri exclaims at the mention of Ri and Kat. Ri was the one who'd gotten the cookies! That's who this one looked like, but didn't look exactly like. How confusing.
Myze starts a bit at the explanation, leaning forward and looking at Kari with more interest. This thule had merged with her twin? What happened to the other one? Kat, was it?
"So," Ecavi blinks, trying to get her head around this, "This- er- Kari is obviously more Ri than Kat, what happened to her?"

"That, I'm not entirely sure of. But Kari knows, don't you?"
Way to go, Koko, putting the spotlight on me like that. In the back of her head, she clearly heard Katana say: quit complaining. She pouted, but said nothing in response.
"And I can still hear Kat. She's pretty much just a voice. Sometimes an annoying one." The thule did not want to hear what Katana was going to say. Obviously, she would rant about being called annoying. Well, I only said sometimes. She scratched her head nervously, but smiled again at Ceri, not wanting to ignore her.
"Yep, I'm the cookie person! Sort of."

"R-really?" Ecavi stammers, looking Kari from head to toe, "Well, that's certainly interesting. It's good that she isn't just gone.." She pauses. How interesting- was it supposed to happen to them, though? It doesn't occur to her that Myze and Ceri are aduthule as well, and if it is supposed to happen then it'll happen to them too.
"Cookies!" Ceri exclaims again, "Sort of Ri Cookie-person?" She tilts her head and blinks her bright green eyes. It was obvious she was only sort of the cookie thule, cookie thule didn't have metal arms.
She giggles and wiggles her way from Ecavi's lap and goes to Kari, pulling gently at the mechanical arm, "Shiny arm!"
Myze looks from Kari to Ceri, then back again. A voice, huh? This meant she'd never get to actually meet that quiet thule, then? She scoffs inwardly, not that she'd really want to, of course.
Though, she has been more social lately. But she chooses to ignore that as well.

"I guess, but it's still like having one less person in the house. But it's nothing to mope about," she smiled nervously. "Only weird thing is she has to communicate through her sister, you know, if she wants to say anything. I kind of don't know who's the one talking sometimes, because Ri says things exactly as Kat does."
Kari laughed at Ceri's odd antics. "Well, Katana always did keep herself looking nice and neat, so shiny's got to account for that." She moved the mechanical arm a bit; she'd gotten so used to it, she kind of forgot it was there.

"I'll bet," Ecavi bites her lip, both Ri and Koko are taking it pretty well. She doesn't want to think about what she'd do if she was suddenly someone's conscience. She stares at Kari's arm as Ceri pulls at it for a moment..
"Hehehe!" Ceri giggled, poking at the tips of the fingers- they resemble claws, like Myze's hands! She giggles more and then turns away, toward the couch. She marches over and climbs up.
Myze continues to watch Ceri as she makes her way up to her, then stays perfectly still when the day thule gives her a hug. She's used to these kinds of things, so all she does is sigh.
Snapping out of it, Ecavi starts and looks up to Kari's eyes, "Oh- I- could I ask you some, K- er- Kari?" She gets to her feet, stepping away from the couch, "Koko can keep Myze and Ceri entertained for a moment, can't she?" She grins at Koko.

They both blink.
But then Koko grins right back at her friend. "Why, of course I can keep them amused! That's what I'm good at doing, you know."
Kari didn't really like the sound of being asked a question. Especially one that couldn't be asked where everyone else could hear. But, she remembered, this was her dear aunt! And she could never disappoint her in such a way.
"What'cha wanna know?" The thule inquired cheerily as she started to walk over to her.

Myze and Ceri also blink at the request. Ceri, however, finds the idea entertaining. Koko looks like lots of fun. She giggles and, finally releasing Myze from the hug, she climbs down from the couch to go poke and prod Koko to see if she does anything fun.
Myze watches Ecavi and Kari suspiciously, rather than Ceri and Koko. It strikes her as odd as well, that Ecavi can't ask this thule a question infront of them.
Ecavi beams at Koko, then leads the way to the kitchen. Once there, she leans back against the counter, "I'm sorry R- Kari- but I'd been meaning to ask Kat for help with something, do you think you could still help me?"
She pauses, then bites her lip.
"It's just," she finally continues, hoping an explanation might make it sound less odd, "Myze broke her hair pins, and I'm sure it'd be simpler to buy her new ones but I get the impression they're important to her-"

Koko stuck out her tongue at Ceri when the poking began. "C'mon, it's not like I have buttons that make me do things. But, I wonder, do you?" She gently poked her in the stomach.
She was going to say she couldn't help, that she really wasn't any good at fixing stuff. Which was true. But there went that voice, nagging at her in the back of her head. I better get very simple instructions on this, she thought, her sister knowing how awful she was with machinery.
"I understand," Kari said with a smile. "Kind of like how Fred and George are important to Kat, I think? I'd be glad to help."

"No buttins?" Ceri repeats, poking at Koko's knee when she's poked in the stomach. She giggles loudly at the poke, "hehe! Pooooke n' ooh an' ahaha~" Her giggling quiets and she attempts to stick out her tummy at Koko. Myze shakes her head after watching Ceri's antics, then leans back into the couch. Ecavi beams, "Thank you, Kari! I'd have no idea how to fix something that just kind of.. snapped- I was sure Kat would, though." She laughs quietly and rubs the back of her head, "Shall I go get the pins, then?"

"Nope, no buttons!" Koko announced quite proudly. "You have buttons that make you laugh, I can tell. I don't want to think what would happen if I actually tickled you." Maybe she'd explode due to laughter?
.. Nah, she thought, poking Ceri again.
"Kat's like the mechanical genius. And I guess so," she nodded.

Ecavi grins at Kari, then heads off for the stairs.
Ceri giggles again when poked, "BUTTIN!" She exclaims, flapping her wings to help keep her steady and pointing to her own stomach. She giggles again, then holding out her hands at Koko making tickley finger motions, "tickletickle!"
Myze spots Ecavi as she walks by the living room, whereas Ceri is having too much fun laughing with Koko 8D Myze's eyes follow Ecavi as she goes by the first time, then again as she returns- heading back for the kitchen. She turns her gaze to the Christmas tree instead, looking thoughtful.
"Ok," Ecavi says, returning to the kitchen, holding up three sticks, "Only one of them is actually broken, so that should make it easier?" She says this hopefully, and sets the hairpins on the counter by Kari. Both shiny, the pin with the moon on the end is the one that had snapped that day in the park with Lucas and Raul..

Koko laughed, making the same motions as Ceri. "Now, you do realize that if Ceri goes boom! from laughter, it's not Koko's fault?" She asked, jokingly, tapping her lightly on the day thule's nose. Of course, there probably wasn't any way that could actually happen, Koko knew, but she couldn't resist saying it.
And then, out of nowhere: "Tickle attack!" She proclaimed, launching a full tickle assault on the poor, unsuspecting thule.
Koko was definately enjoying herself.
Kari thought a bit, watching Aunt 'cavi return with the hairpins. They did look very nice, at the least, and it was too bad that one had been broken.
"That's just fine. It'll be easy enough, I guess," leaving out the part about Katana saying that they would have it looking brand new, like nothing had happened. She carefully picked up the hairpin pieces and whatnot, looking them over.
"Yep, Kat thinks this'll be easy."
