Turn off the game before I start breaking things, or more likely just start yelling at the main character... For example I yell at my Prince of Persia games a lot.
Liz: Damn it Prince you suck! Your a useless waste of space! Jump Damn you! >o<
Though sometimes when I'm yelling at other games it sounds like this;
Liz: You suck Kratos! Why can't you be more like Prince! >o<

If a game starts to piss me off a lot I usually start cursing at it (doesn't do any good though lol) I do recall throwing my controller across the room once back when Final Fantasy IX came out (Ozma was kicking my a** lol) Actually my remedy is to walk away from the game for a bit. I usually find that works best if I get stuck or something to just walk away for a few minutes and take a breather.

I usually just cuss, but I used to something that would eventually lead to the downfall of the gaming system..... twisted

I typically do something silly...like uninstall it. Then I feel better for a few weeks...then reinstall it when I miss it. Ridiculous I know...I've done that at least 5 times with WOW. My guildies have come to expect it of me. They call it 'periodic venting' =)

I switch to DDR and play Legend of Max on Standard or Heavy. Then I am reminded of what is REALLY hard. Then I get some tea, do some deep breathing, curse at the bad guy, then play again.

There are certain stages to my anger in games. First I'll become annoyed, which will cause my stubborn streak to kick into overdrive. My stubbornness will then cause me to become determined to continue playing until I beat my obstacle. That may not be a problem with most people, but with me I become so aggravated that I start to play worse, which causes me to become more stubborn, which causes me to become even more frustrated so that I play worse. It's a vicious cycle, and even if I know I'm doing it it's very hard for me to overcome my mule-ish tendencies. If I get to a point where I *must* quit playing a game then there's a good chance it may be ages until I pick it up again. Sometimes it will take me months before I'll start playing a game again. And when I start doing it again I'll be able to go through it flawlessly. It doesn't even have to be that difficult for me. I also may throw in a few yells of "AAARRRGGGHHH" or other such clever insults at my inanimate console, but I've never cussed. Once or twice I have thrown the controller, but actually not that often.

I either try it 2 or so more times, give up, walk over to my younger brother and make him beat the darn thing after a moderate bit of cursing. Done so with Final Fantasy XII. (He isn't very helpful either.)

I usualy pause the game and go downstairs to play with my dog or grab a drink, and when I come back upstairs I can play streight through it without a problem.... this method usualy is implamented before I start screaming and yelling at the TV. But if it dose get to that point I will turn it off in frustration and go surf the web, for fear of breaking the controler or someone's face when I throw it.

Ah, I'm passive aggressive at my videogames. The most I ever do is say in an aggravated tone, "Damn it!" or "Come on, I totally hit you!"
If I get really frustrated I just turn the game off and play something else or do something else until I'm ready to try again. I have found it's often easier to tackle a tough spot in a game after taking a break and clearing my head.

When I'm pissed at people, I play the game.
If you're pissed at the game, why don't you just shut it off?

Oh how i wish I could say "I'm so awesome at games, I dont get stressed." but that would be egotistical and false =p. I play a different game for about a month...and look up the faq online.
