I think that it made the ff games more popular. It was a nice addition to Kh. I mean it would have been really lame if it was only disney chars in it. and sora n riku. It was Square enix's choice to add the chars in the game and I think that it made the game better. The only thing that bugged about the ffVII chars in kh2, was that they had their advent children outfits, WTF?! and cloud's sword was still fing bandaged.

I liked the combo of disney and final fantasy.

beasty_ribs Nope, I'm happy to see FFVII anywhere and everywhere! 3nodding That about sums it up for me... Please keep in mind that Kingdom hearts was purposely meshing all the FF worlds into a mix with disney folks. What i'd like to see... is more characters from a wider range of FF games. not just 7+... I'd like to see more people form 9 other than Vivi. Bring Beatrice. She kicked a**... Now, yeah.. ok. so there are a lot more FF7 characters than the other series. but keep in mind there are a lot of X charries. mostly on the island where they grow up on.. but still... which lends the idea.. are sora, rikku, and kairi.. is that island they are on. is that connected to the FFX world? maybe possibly? with that door in the cave opening up an interdimensional portal? i mean.. come on. while the individual disney worlds have their own heroes. the disney universe itself doesn't have a single person who is able to move unbound to one world to save their universe... well.. except mickey who's just always out spying and too busy. I did like that Aeris got a costume upgrade.. but.. it seemed like it didn't match at all. I like hte top. they need to do something else with the bottom though.

Yeah.. I mean.. I'm a hardcore Aeris fan.. but ya know. During most of KH1 and KH2.. she was always with her buddy Leon there. lol... Wonder if that bothered Cloud at all.. every game he comes trying to find where she went off to.. finally finds her.. and all the while.. she wasn't too worried about it. lol
me and my friend have cosplays of them both in this one pet shop. and he rp's cloud as getting really tired of her up and disappearing every freaking time he turns around.. so she is currently on a short leash program. xD

Septomor Cloud DID NOT almost kiss Aeris. I played the game and all they did was have some 5 minute platonic conversation. And Graceangel Cloud was NEVER EVER searching for Aeris nor was he searching for Tifa. He IS and ALWAYS WAS searching for Sephiroth. Did you two even play the damn game?

Nope. I thought they were nicely placed in the game.
They had screen time and made us fans drool, but we didn't forget that Kingdom Hearts was Sora's story, which is important.

Cloud was in fact searching for sephiroth throughout both KH games. And I think the reason cloud's sword was bandaged up was because in KH 1 where cloud fights sora, cloud could so easily take out a kid like that with that giant sword. So i think bandaging his sword up leveled the playing field a tad. Also notice that sephiroth fights using his non-sword hand too, which would also level the playing field slightly the give sora more of a chance. That's what i think at least.
All in all however, the final fantasy characters gave kingdom hearts more of a flavor and made it special. Ever tried the hades paradox cup on KH2? so damn hard on round 49, i mean come on! cloud, tifa, squall and yuffie to fight all at once?
they're hardcore, to the bone.

my only problem with the FF VII chars in KH 1/2 was the fact that they changed the looks of some of the chars and that bothered me
