Reaching to the rabbit's ear, Jade felt the material with a smile as fuzzy and warm as the little bunny in Shayna's hands. "I don't know what to make though. I suppose you could call it 'studying the competition'."

Kemuri smiled as he looked at the plush toys. they all seemed to be perfect. "then, shall we search for a craft store rather than waste time here?" he asked in a shy tone.

Shayna nodded, "Just let me pay for this first" she said indicating the rabbit still in her arms. "My aunt is still a little girl at heart" She wrinkled her nose in amusement and hugged it. "But then I think most girls are."

"I don't know where it is, but there might be one around here somewhere." he chuckled nervously. He smiled at the two ladies that he shopped with. maybe shopping ain't half bad if you're with friends. he was enjoying himself this day, about a month before Christmas.

Shayna nodded again and headed off towards the cashiers. "I'll catch up with you guys in just a bit," she said over her shoulder as she disppeared around a corner.
She manouvered her way through crowds of people towards the long line ups. The teen made a face. This might take awhile.

Thinking it might be nice, for once, to go along with the good mood of things, Jade grasped Kemuri's arm escort-style and smiled up at him. "Let's look together, shall we?"

Kemuri chuckled lightly and replied, "sure. where shall we head while Shay pucheses the plush toy?" he asked as his arm was 'attacked' according to him, by the little lady, Jade.

"I just told you I'd needed to pick up supplies to make Nikolai a stuffed animal." Jade told him again, arching a brow at the young man before letting go of his arm. Perhaps the teasing was just a bit too awkward for the both of them to be of any use teasing. "I want to make something nice for Nikolai."

"well, what type of fabric are you looking for? fleece? furry? or the stuff they make in baby clothes? or something else...?" he asked as he stepped out of the shop. he felt a gust of wind pass his hair. he looked back t Jade. he held the door open for the lady to step out of the warm shop and into the cold outside world. he held the door as he looked outside, trying to find a good fabric store.
(( i just noticed that Kemuri reminds me of Howl. from Howl's moving castle from the back. XD. try and imagine it. sora funny... like when his hair changed colour into a deep blue. instead of a light blonde ))

"Thank you." Jade wrapped her scarf around herself a bit tighter when the cold wind blustered inside. "I'm not sure, something that'll keep him warm I suppose." In her mind she started to wonder just what to make. A lion? Rabbit? Teddies were too cliche for a little boy. "Did you have a stuffed animal as a child Kemuri?"

"not really. i wasn't much of a child when i was little. i have no memory of it either..." he said. he totally forgot that Jade didn't know his past. about the spirits and stuff. "though, i've always loved to snuggle with Lily's blankie. it's made of a really soft material. it's sorta like fur but soft and not real fur. it's soft and makes a good cape. i seem to be fond of the Turtle animal though. maybe you should talk with Nikolai about what he wants then make it with whatever clothe you will be buying or might be trying to find." Kemuri said as he stared off into space. (( it's almost exactly like this. yes i have a fake fur blanket IRL. ninja . it's made out of cotton or polyester or something. just not real animal fur. it has a picture of a girl with bunnies and whiteish-greyish-beige background. it has an edge that's sorta like, the stereotypical elephant feet or toes or whatever. they look like little semi-circles along the edge. both sides are fake fur made of other materials and the outside is softer than the inside. the inside is a rougher type of the outside. don't ask why i described it out... u___u but that's what Kemuri snuggles with ))

Listening to Kemuri's rant, Jade smiled sheepishly. "He doesn't talk. He won't say a word to me at all no matter what. I don't think he'll tell me what sort of toy he wants, and if he did it wouldn't be a surprise."

"that'd be cute" he asid with a little giggle. he looks about to try spot a fabric store. Kemuri points to a small shop. Kemuri grabs Jade's hand lightly and tries to lead her over to where he saw. what he saw was a store with needle and thread in the banner and in the window were people holding fabrics and many other things he didn't know about.

Nearly being dragged across the street, Jade blinked in surprise when Kemuri brought her to the shop she'd been looking for. "O-oh! Thank you." Offering a smile, she tried to politely retract her hand from his. "Are you coming in with me Kemuri? I could use your oppinion on what fabric to use."
