Tsai dashed away from the attack, turned around to face Mai again. "So do you," he said smiling at her remark. Tsai needed a tactic if he wanted to play toe to toe with her as he did with Kenosha. Tsai needed to buy time, he rushed in with a regular kendo style attack.

Mai dashed sideways avoiding his strike. Mai twirled her sai's and slashed them at Tsai. Mai was getting rather bored from the spar, she was dodging Tsai's attack's easily and he was rather slow.

Tsai dodged the first sai easily without much hesistation but the second attack was too close, Tsai attempted to roll away from the attack.

Tsai successfully dodged the attack. He was sweating and he got up. Mai was becoming more and more accurate with her attacks. Tsai was hesistating to attack. "She's too powerful for me.." he thought. "If I only knew some kidou.."
Tsai waited and took a breath he then moved sideways and tried to attack Mai's rear. He stopped and then charged at Mai with an overhead slash.

Mai used one of her sai's and diverted the path of his slash. Mai then slashed with both her sai's in an 'X' path across Tsai's chest.

Tsai met with the two sai's quickly. A clash of swords was heard. Tsai pushed through the stalemate and swung his zampakuto at Mai. Tsai's zampakuto could easily cut Mai in half if she wasn't as quick as she was.

Mai jumped over the swing and landed safely on the ground in a crocuhing position from there she attempted two horizontal slashes at Tsai's stomach, they were light slashes so they wouldn't deal too much damage to Tsai.

Tsai quickly dodged the first slash and tried to avoid the second slash by moving his zampakuto to his side to block or divert the path of the slash elsewhere. Tsai was sweating now and getting pushed to his limit.

Tsai managed to dodge the attack again. He backed up, was there even a chance to win this spar? Tsai already had a minor injury on his arm but he could continue to fight. He needed this.
Tsai kicked some dust into the air and moved. This would maybe create the element of surprise but with Mai's reflexes, it would be highy unlikely. But it was worth a shot. Tsai unleashed a overhead slash once he was close enough to hit Mai.

Mai parried the strike. The dust was a surprise but Mai could easily react to such child's play she twirled her sai and attempted a diagonal slash and a stab at Tsai, her favourite combinations.

Tsai somersaulted away from the attacks. Tsai was immensely tired he kneeled down and stabbed his zampakuto into the ground. "I give.. you win the game" he said as he sat down. "But you won't tell people about this place right?" he asked as he wiped his sweat from his forehead.

"Tired already?" she looked puzzled but sheathed her sai's. "Well, I was a little hard on you though" she said as she walked over to him and took out some bandage wraps from her pocket and handed them to him.
"Use these for your wounds," she said kindly. "As for your secret, it's safe with me," she continued as she looked at the waterfall. "This place is quite beautiful, well, I best be going now, take it easy" she said as she started for the bushes. "Oh and I'll check up on you once in awhile to see if you've improved"

"Thanks," Tsai replied as he watched her go. He took off his shinigami outfit and wrapped his arm. It wasn't really a deep wound but it needed to be treated with, he put some of his home-made herbs on his arm and wrapped it. It stung a bit but he learned something today from his spars. He wasn't strong enough. Tsai needed to become much stronger than he was.
