Sorry, I've been gone so much Christmas preps kept me pretty busy and stressed out.
I'm glad that you'll be able to get away for a little while, just you and your husband. Sometimes that's what you need is a break from the rest of the world just to sort things out and unwind.
I know how hard miscarriages are. I konw how you feel about wanting to try again right away, but the advice my OB gave my after my miscarriage was to wait until after I'd had my first "normal" period. Before then the chances of another miscarriage are higher. Your body needs time to heal before it's ready to take on the strain of another pregnancy. It is a wonderful thing to be pregnant, but it also places a lot of demands on your body. I know that you would love your baby no matter what, but your child deserves to have the best opportunity to grow and develop properly.
My love goed out to you and I wish you the best. Enjoy your time in Hawaii.

Thanks Jenn!! heart heart
We actually have to wait two months before we are allowed to try since our first pregnancy was so hard to come by in the first place. the fertility clinc and my OBGYN wants at least two months. By the time we get home from our holiday we should be about two weeks before we can start trying again! I'm looking forward to it but also very scared at the same time. And definately hoping for a better out come. We are definately waiting the two months to give me and our next baby the very best chance at things.
Thanks again Sweetie!!

You're welcome hon. *hugs* I know how scary it can be to think about trying again. I got pregnant with my oldest daughter the first month we were "allowed" to try after the miscarriage. I prayed that everything would be okay because I didn't think that I could handle another miscarriage, but at the same time I was so worried that something was going to be wrong because it had gone wrong with the first one. The doctor pronounced both of my little girls "perfect" at delivery. ^_^

I'm also afraid that once they say we can start trying again it's not going ot happen...and then we'll be back to the heart break every month before when we were going thorugh two years of infertility!

Do you take the Magazine "Good Housekeeping"? there is an article in January 2007 about a new drug treatment plan for recurrent miscarriages and other facts about miscarriages. If you can get a copy it is on page 49 - if not maybe later I could summarize, but it sounds as though they start this a few months before pregnancy.

Until after my first "normal" period. I didn't get it when my OB told me that either. My first couple of periods were... different from normal ones, but I'm not sure how to explain it.

But if they happen again and again, I am currently seeing a Fertility doctor who would address the situation, thankfully, but thank you so much for the info! biggrin

Luckily if my period does not show up like it's supposed to my doc will give me drugs to jump start it.

Well just try not to think about it too much while you're on vacation. wink Relax and enjoy the time that you and your husband will be able to have together.

Post pix from Hawaii in Out-of-Parent Chatter when you get back! I have serious vacation envy...
And you're welcome. I'm glad to have been able to help at all. Usually I'm really shitty at helping people grieve, but I felt I had something to actually add.
I'm with Jenannen: KWIM? confused That's a new one by me. What's it mean?
