tinmaiden GTBlader tinmaiden Prodigious_girl Do you mean Nietzsche...O.o;; I'm sure I've heard Nietsche somewhere before but...doesn't ring a bell... (*Looks around for Jela* Geez...where's my German translator when I need her...) lol, danke, that was what I meant... stupid "z" er ist verrueckt.... Man I wish I had my boyfriends german book with me right now then I could just translate what you said. Not that he would give it to me. Ach! Sorry, it just means "It's crazy." Like, the "z" that should have been in Nietzsche. It was a typo, and my boneheaded bad. rolleyes Don't worry we all have that at times. smile

lol, ich denke... that this thread has nothing to do with Faust anymore. rofl
I have a funny story.
So I wrote a German skit for the group in my class to perform. It's wicked, hilarious, and kind of sick, but I wrote it and it's my baby. I play a neurotic waitress who has been dragged through the dust around every corner in her life, and who's had just about enough. After dealing with an old man on oxygen who won't stop smoking, and a nymphomaniac/kleptomaniac who order weird things and make my life difficult for me, I get fired by my stressball manager. I then calmly ask if anyone has a rope (which the klepto gleefully produces), and tie it in a noose as I exit stage left.
I bought a dress today for $1.50 at Volunteers of America for this skit. Think of Mari's dress, only with a more lolita style, and a whole lot more lace. It's like a Bavarian nightmare; this skit is going to be one my Lehrerin never forgets. Niemals!

lol, ja, die Lehrerin kind of gave credit to the other students, even though I literally typed the whole thing up in class and they barely even contributed ideas. rolleyes
Und, we're performing in der Uni(versity), so we're allowed more adult themes if we so choose. I've been taking college classes since I was 14, so I'm used to the environment. But American's are also very lenient about subject matter, so I could just go wild with the bizarre stuff and pretty much get an indifferent response. sweatdrop

oh my gosh that's cool , we got an e-mail the other day about a 10th grader being signed up for classes at Yale and her family was asking for help. My parents said no since they can barely pay to send me to a public college year after next.

Es tut mir leid... that bites. I went to a community college through high school, nothing fancy like Yale, but my first class was a Japanese one when I was 14. It wasn't too hard, but it was fun. Other than the fact the twenty-something guys in class tried to take advantage of me constantly... sweatdrop

O.o;; You guys are allowed to do that...I've never heard of a youth taken courses at Mohawk or McMaster (the local college and university). @_@;; I think that's...crazy. Personally, I dislike the idea of youths (under 17) doing college/university courses...I find that to be irratating. : D
<.< >.> Maybe that's just me because I worked my a** and brain off for a position at Mcmaster (one of the top 10 Universities in Canada).

The classes I took were at a community college. I don't consider the work I did to be "real" college. I'm attending school this fall, THAT I consider real. If you consider it crazy to take classes in college when you're young, then, well.... I'm living proof! pirate
Congratulations about McMaster! You must be very proud. biggrin

D : I fail to see how you're living proof that I dislike when youth take college courses...but I think I see where the translation went. XD It's like a community organization. I was looking at it as though it was an actual college.
^_^ Thanks for the thanks! I'm happy that I successfully finished my first year at McMacter! YAY! Now I get to focus on my History Honours! (It's kind of like a Master's Degree).
