Miller shrugged again, "My past was only about three weeks ago, it's not like I've forgotten my old life so easily. Still if I honestly wan to be fulfilled I would only ask to find people on the island to call friends. Thats all any one ever really wants really is other people to be around."

"Y-yes... I sup-sup-suppose so..." Newt's strangely shaped head bobbed along the surface as he swam towards the boy, not quite sure what to do or say. He always felt awkward aroudn other people. He supposed that was something even animal DNA couldn't cure him of.

Miller stopped to watch the frog man float before him, the least Miller could hope for was what ever he turned in to wasn't slimey, had extra legs, or to be exact a spider. "So tell me, what brings you out to the river today?"

Miller couldn't help but snicker just a bit at the croaking sound, it was much louder then a normal frogs and as such for some reason much more amuseing. "Me? Thinking mostly, wondering if I decided right in ordering Kikue a gift for the kimono she gave me."

"Kuh-kuh-kikue?" Newt kicked his legs to dart forward against the current and let it slowly pull him back again, webbed digits twitching in the wonderful cool water. "Ah... wh-who is th-that?"

Miller floated about on his back while continueing to talk, "She's a nice little asian girl, turning in to some sort of snow leapord like thing. She was nice enough to not kick me out of her duplex for showing up in my boxers asking for help."

"W-was it after th-the... er... p-party?" Newt smiled as slyly as he seemed capable, "Er... I d-don't believe I've met her..." His voice dropped and wavered at that and he swallowed nerviously. His experience with felines on the island began and ended with Jamal.

Miller sank slowly now giveing Newt a slight glare at the some what sly look, "Yes it was after that party... She's a nice girl though and I figured I should get her something to give as a thank you."

Newt huddled back, not wanting to think about the party any longer. It was embarassing enough despite the fact that had happened befor his latest change. He swallowed a ribbit, flailing to change the subject, "S-so... um... d-do... do you know wh-what... what you're... er... fated to become?"

This was a sore subject for the boy, he felt cheated and lied too and as such refused to bend for Sabin and amuse him in any way by crawling to him begging to know what he was becomeing. Lucky him that he didn't get the serum Shenzi was given.
