Honestly, if they don't truly listen to a band (as in know something BEYOND B.Y.O.B., Violent Pornography, and Chop Suey), then they shouldn't really say BS about another band. ._.
And while I'm on the topic, P!ATD is just blah. I used to listen to their stuff, and then it just all... mixed in together. o_o SOAD is just so much better.

Their official site would have said it. whew ok thanx... Your all wrong. There will be no more albums. Only one more tour in 2013 and then they are done. They have to many outside projects and are concentrating on them... They say that some day they MAY do another but may not(album tours) Found this out from a close friend of theirs on like myspace or something...idk but they HATE touring thats why they pretty much are done. I think they did well though. Im not happy about there desicion for stopping but 5 albums? pretty good, they lasted not one hit wonders no they did well they are loved blah blah blah mush mushy mushy. and so on. So in 2013 im seeing them and thats that. however DO NOT STOP LIKING THEM!!!

At the risk of upsetting the entire guild...
I dont think people should rip on each other for listening to any kind of music. You wouldent pick on someone for eating food you dont like, or driving a certain kind of car. People who need to rip on other people about which band they like are often simply self concious, or overly sensative.
I like Panic, I also like Green Day, Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, and My Chemical Romance, TRJA, and TBS, as well as many other bands. Of course I love System to. I know people who like country, who idolise Panic, who love System, and some that could care less about any band, and there all total sweethearts. I also know people who like the same bands and are total assholes. I think the kind of music you like shapes you, but it doesent make you.
If someone insults a band I like, I shake it off. Why the hell should anyone care, and if there lives are so boring they need to concern themselves with me and my interests, why would I sink to their level? If someone likes a band I dont like, whats it to me? nobody forces me to listen to music I dont like, and I dont think it matters either way what some one likes to listen to. Just dont let it bug you to much, try educating the other person, or asking her to define her reasoning. Or, simply ignore her.
Sorry for the wall of text, I hate it when people need to hurt each other in order to placate themselves, and I have a bad tendancey to take the scenic path when I type, and im also sorry if I insulted anyone.

OMG i totally agree with you!! i HATE it when people feel they need to tell me what to listen to. 'oh if u like this band, u cant like that one!'. says who?? ps. awesome taste in music wink

JohnDolmayanWannabe I think i probably came off wrong. People can have there own opinions and i will not judge them if they dont like SOAD they dont like SOAD. However if they have never really listened to them ands just say they suck, i will get defensive. people have their own opinions. Like me and my best friend. I love Metallica she HATES them and im good with that. i dont care. And to IY_and_MCR its awesome that you like P!ATD its fine whoever does ok, i admit i like maybe one song its all good, just people who say that Daron is emo and say that other bands or are truely emo, when never listening to soad they need to get a realitiy check. If i made ANY sense let me know cause i just drank a Rockstar and a Bawls and i am WIRED!!! WHEE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!~!~!~! I understand. I have to fight back my inner fangirl at times, but I remember that a person who just says they hate something with no knowlage of what they're talking about is best ignored. Maby you can talk to them/educate them, but most times there's not much to be done and they like their opion because it comforts them. I'm not quite understanding what you ment in the part about emo you typed (Sorry ^^; ) But it does annoy me when people use the emo genra wrong or as an insult. It makes it very difficult to find emo music. And I'm sure it must be horrible for people who listen to emo (Rites of Spring and so on) on a regular basis. I wish I could get caffine highs. I'm not making sense because I'm low on caffine (only six cups of coffee today)

I have a burning hatred for their new sound. They seemed to stop caring about what they write and what they sound like.
For instance, Daron wrote a song about running over a rabbit. People think Kill Rock N' Roll is uber deep, but it's actually not. It's just a stab at their image and what they used to be.
