But I hate the number of calories it has stare Sorry- a what? sweatdrop sufganyot are pretty much donuts eaten on chanukah, usually jelly filled. they began as a latke alternative (fried), and just stuck. That's weird because there's a huge difference between latkes and jelly doughnuts. Both have quite the calories however... You can't escape it. *Purge* they're both fried in oil. Note that the name is based on the root word "Safag", meaning "soaked"... Soaked in oil, that is. Most sufganyot have about 350 calories... eek

F. Fritzi I'll probably get striped socks. haha, from Hannukah Harry! (sorry, bad joke) Eh, we're gonna do the lighting of the candles, a present or two a night, and on one of them we all head over to my grandparent's house and have the big festivities night. And I get a Visa Gift Card that night... hee hee, then I can donate to Gaia! Woot!!! ^_^

Does anyone know a good way to clean the menorah? We seem to have lost the one we normally use and only could find this really old one that has alot of wax on it xp

My mom keeps saying we should put it in the oven and let the wax melt off...
