Damn that thing moved fast. Kat stumbled slightly as it jumped away, noticing Se-vens for the first time.
"Welcome to the party." She said dryly. She scanned the area, hoping the creature had actually left rather than simply moved. She wasn't sure she could do that a second time. The area was still lit up by her earlier fire, and she couldn't see the monster about. Then she realized she couldn't see Crim either. Quickly, she rushed over to the bushes where she'd seen him heading and spied him on the ground.
"Still alive?" She asked, noticing the wound on his side.

Crim` coughed, sitting up and flopping down with his back against a tree. He coughed again.
"I'll live. I really need to get back to base, though..." he muttered, looking down at the wound. "So, it left didn't it?" he asked.
"Oh and..." he looked to Kata, raising the gun she had lent him in his hand and tossing it her way.

Catching the gun, Kat slid it back into her bra.
"I sure hope it left." She said, scanning the area again. She looked over the man on the ground. He obviously outweighed her by quite a bit, and now that the adrenaline was dying, she was getting tired.
"Well, I can't carry you." She said, offering him a hand up and a shoulder to lean on if he needed it.

Crim` grinned a bit, reaching up with his left hand then struggled to his feet slowly while gripping his side still with his right; His back dragged upward along the rough tree stump, leaving a trail of blood. "Thanks... I think I can make it. Who was that just now... That also attacked it?" he asked, looking past the bush. He shook his head a bit, shaking off a sudden rush of lightheadedness. "Gah... Whattya say after I'm all patched up we get a drink?" he said, leaning against the tree. "I could sure use one. And we have to figure out what we're gonna do about our new enemy... or enemies."

"That was Se-vens." She said, nodding her head in his direction. "And yeah, let's get a drink after this." She started to walk back out to the clearing, then realized she'd lost a gun and ran out to grab it from beside the tree where it'd fallen. Wouldn't do to go losing her guns.

Seven had blacked out upon impact. It was his body that had the momentum to move the thing, and it hurt. Hurt so very much. At any rate, he was coming to now. He didn't know if anything was broken, but his left leg, right wrist, and ribs were giving him a good deal of trouble. Bodies make bad spears.
He let out a moan and raise himself to a sitting position. His eyes followed the path of the claws in the trees and then looked back at Crim' and Kat. Crim' as bleeding, but it didn't seem to be of urgent concern. Although he seemed to be bleeding, so that was certainly first priority.
"Hey Kat, you might want to check out the third floor, see what you can do about the fire. Which I had nothing whatsoever to do with."
Seven stands and stretches out his back. "I'm pretty sure I can get Crim back to base."
[Altho I seem to be on at a different time of day then you guys. Feel free to accurately predict what Seven will do, if necessary to move on.]

((Okie doke))
Crim` began to slowly walk toward the base along the path back to base, reaching an arm over Seven's shoulder for support. The two would soon be at the HQ after only a relatively small walk. Good thing. Soon through the doors, to the medical room, and finally a hospital bed for Crim`. Two medical droids ventured into the room quickly and began preparations for a quick bullet removal and patch-up.
"Thanks." he said to Seven before drifting off into a slumber under the influence of sedative medicine.

"I thought the third floor was already burned to a crisp." Kat said confused. However, not in the mood to argue over it, she set off towards HQ at a brisk pace.
Arriving back at base well before the other two, she headed up to the third floor, grabbing a fire extinguisher on the way up. Luckily, there were many of these about the place, given how destructive the inhabitants could be.
This turned out to be a good thing, because as she looked up the stairs to the third floor, she realized that this was a fairly large fire now. The whole thing was more or less in flames now.
"Lovely." She muttered under her breath, and proceeded up the stairs, her fire ring glowing as she pushed the fire back from around herself. She wondered why the emergency sprinklers hadn't gone off yet. Seemed unlikely it was going to go off soon though, so Kat figured she'd need to deal with this herself.
Using the fire ring to push the fire back into more controllable flames, she used the fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Luckily, the floor and ceiling both held well, and there was very little to get in the way, since the floor had already been destroyed once. However, it was quite tedious, and Kat, never a very strong magic user, was exhausted by the time the last fire went out. Leaning against a wall, she wondered if she'd ever get the smell of smoke out of her clothes.
She stumbled down the stairs after a few minute, and went to go find Se-vens, intent on asking him precisely why the floor had been in flames.

Crimson's eyes opened. His dreary gaze would meet his hand which lay still as his side a few inches away from his face. Soon his eyes would come into focus on his blood red jacket which hang upon a coatrack on the other side of the room near a door. He raised his hand from his side and reached above him, barely able to focus on it, he closed his eyes as he tried to regain his composure. His gloved fingers would run gently through the tangled mane of magenta hair that set atop his head. It was not soon after this that it hit him; The pain. That stiff feeling, that feeling of an open wound that still liked to remind you that you screwed up. Yeah, he felt it. After a barrage of his favorite expletives the man sat up slowly.
"Survived that one... Gahh."
Inwardly he cursed the creature that had caused this. His back arched as he struggled with the pain, lying down again. The medicine had definitely worn off.
"How much blood did I lose?"
He sat up once again, reaching over to the location of the gunshot wounds on his side and finding a rough clothlike material there.
"Bandages..."
It was only after about a minute of this that he would kick his feet around, slowly sliding off of the small bed and standing, shaking his head again. The man would make his way to the small washroom just past the coathanger, removing the silver ring from his left middle finger, dropping it into his pocket. He would then slide the black studded gloves he wore from his hands and subsequently toss them onto a small chair a few inches away from the washroom door. He reached to the faucet upon arriving into the darkly lit cube, turning the blue nob and reaching down then cupping his hands as they filled with water that would soon be splashed into his face.
He looked in the mirror.
"Geez, I look like crap."
His eyes soon fell to his right hand and he muttered something as if speaking to it. "...and so do you."
The skin of his hand was beginning to show signs that it was anything but a natural appendage, it's artificial nature becoming more apparent as each strand of silicone skin seemed to now carry a rougher texture.
"It's been a while... I need to go back to Aekae and take care of this... And while I'm there... Something else I've been meaning to get around to."
The man rubbed his eyes with the thumb and middle finger of his left hand soon trodding back to the main room and grabbing his jacket off of the coathanger. He tried to stretch a bit, the familiar pain greeting him everytime a sudden movement was made, and slipped his jacket on as well as his gloves. Crim` soon would be walking out of the medical room towards it's exit. Then a stop. An abrupt pause. He noticed the reflection of his profile in a large mirror.
"Hm, shirtless with a jacket..." he said, a stupid grin pulling at his lips as a smug expression came over him.
"...nah. Been done by that other guy in the red coat. I should look for a shirt somewhere."
Soon it was through the door and into the hallway quietly, the only thing breaking the repetitive sounds of his light footsteps being a weird grumbling noise whose origin was none other than his midsection.
"Food." spoke he in monotone.
He looked to the cafeteria and needless to say soon that is where his temptation had carried him.

Merdok rolls up to the beginning of the forest. He slowly drove his way in about a mile before the trees became really thick. These damn trees are too thick. Stupid trees... He turns of the quad and hops off the side. He lands into a puddle of mud, getting his boots dirty. He kicks his shoes a bit, throwing the mud off onto the grass ahead. This is already turning out bad. He begins to jog through the forest, running at a medium pace. After a few moments, his steps begin to become less, but his speed begins to increase. Not before long, those trees just turn into brown and green blurrs as he passes.
He covered about six miles in about fifteen minutes. He began to slow down, barely seeing the top of the building through the thick tree tops. He stealthfully jogs the rest of the way.
He stops about fifty feet on the side of the building. He hides behind a tree while he scopes out the area. There are no side doors, two cameras, and a large fence. Shouldn't be too hard. He crawls slowly towards the fence. There was a small hole just small enough for Merdok to fit through without having to move any part of the fence, or cut through himself. As soon as he cleared the fence, he jumped up against the wall directly under one security camera. As the camera turns left, Merdok jolts right, running down the side of the building.
He clears the corner of the building, where it looks like he has come upon the back of the building. He looks around and sees what looks like a warehouse. This place is huge. Who is here? He crouches and stealthfully moves through the grass towards the warehouse. He hears a noise, and quickly falls further into the grass, not making a noise. The wind passes through the grass, making a light woosh sound. Mer raises his head slowly and looks around. Nobody. Huh... He continues to the warehouse looking building.

Finding her room long before Se-vens, Kat curled up on her bed for a nap. Using the fire ring always left her drained, and the training with Crim had pulled more than a few muscles in new and different ways.
A few hours later, she crawled out of bed feeling better, if not quite rested. ((Hopefully putting me back in the same timeframe as everyone else)) It was then she realized how disgusting her clothes had gotten and changed into something a little cleaner.
Leaving her room, she debated going and finding Se-vens like she'd meant to before being distracted by sleep. However, her stomach took that moment to growl at her, and a few moments later she found herself on track to the cafeteria. Apparently her stomach had different thoughts than her brain.

Merdok reaches the warehouse, and plants his back against the wall. He looks around cautiously, awaiting someone to walk out, or to hear someone working inside. But nothing happened. This place seemed just as desolate as the outskirts of Barton. Was this just an abandoned military installation?
Mer peeked into a crack in the wall of the warehouse, and saw bunch of junk inside. Nobody alive, and nothing dead. Just, nothing. He sighs in frustration as he looks towards the main building again. Maybe I should just try in there. It was a massive building. Not many entrances. So far, he's not seen one. The wall is flat, and has no large cracks in it to make it able to be climbed. Maybe he'd just try the front door, since he has no other option. He begins to walk towards the wall again, crouching down very low.

Crim` removed his gloves and made himself a triple-layer sandwich using various ingredients from the fridge then grabbed a cola from the fridge. He popped the top of the soda and took a bite of the sandwich, leaning against the cafeteria counter and relaxing, contemplating.
I guess I'll leave tonight... Better yet... Maybe that wouldn't be so good given the injury.
He walked over to a table, taking a seat and setting his can of soda down. After finishing the sandwich he grabbed a toothpick from a small container on the table, picking at his teeth a bit and then slouching in his seat, grunting a bit as a sharp pain hit his side.

Merdok had manuevered his way to the front of the building, where he saw a long walk that seemed to lead to a road. He closed his eyes and muttered a few words under his breath; Something about a stupid forest. He slowly crept up to the front door-- it was already open slightly. Wow, what a well kept facility. He walked up to the door and opened it slowly, checking around for anyone alive. Everything seemed a little dusty. Maybe this place hasn't been used for a while? A perfect place for someone of his status to hide.
As he walked in, he noticed that it looked like a hospital. A bunch of different doors leading to different rooms, white walls, floors, and vending machines. Another time Merdok wished he had small bills in his wallet. He continued down the path towards what looked like a cafeteria. It seemed very weird walking through these halls alone. He was putting together a multitude of situations that could have happened to make this place seem so desolate. Was it zombies? No, no... ALIENS! No, not that either. Hmmm...
He approached the cafeteria when he heard the foot steps of someone. He quickly moved to the side before entering the cafeteria, and planted himself against the side of a vending machine labeled "Zurg Energy Drinks". He pulled a throwing knife from a slit on his belt and held it out a little, using it as a mirror to see who was coming. After a few moments, someone turned the corner. A pale looking catgirl, with orange hair. It was a small girl, and he saw her as no real target. But he would watch her to see what this place was all about.

Kat walked into the the cafeteria, oblivious to the one watching her. Her real thought was simply getting food into her stomach. However, at the sight of Crim's pink hair, she broke out into a smile.
"So you survived that after all!" She said happily, grabbing an apple from a bowl on the counter. "I'm glad, if anyone kills you, I want to be it."
With a twist and a jump, she sat down on the counter-top, facing Crim, and munched on the apple. Her trident was held loosely in her other hand. She'd taken to carrying it with her everywhere, hoping she'd get better at it simply from being used to it's prescence. It'd worked fairly well over the past couple weeks too, so that she barely noticed she was carrying these days.
