Karoka_Forcia My mom had rented it for me, I played it for three days straight and fell in love!!! The battle system took me some time, but eventually I came to love it too. And. Balthier. Is. My. New. LOVER!!!! Omg! He's accent is so awesome!! And he's hott!! heart heart heart biggrin xd The liscents thing kinda got on me... But you know, it just like the FFX grid... Just all... Polished up. XD I kind of saw the simlarities... XD And Also... Hehe, I tried to go after the T-rex like at level 7 (not knowing what I was getting my self into) He hunted me down and killed me so face I screamed and froze there for 2 minutes wondering what just happened... xD xD lmao. I did that too, just for fun. ninja

the battle system is unique but good too.
I don't like the lines,sometimes they get cluttered.
but its still good mrgreen

I think the way they talk is beautiful. But this coming from the person who understands Shakespeare and Poe, I suppose it would only be natural for me to love the way they talk. rolleyes

Swayambhu MaskedMaiden blindingfog Swayambhu MaskedMaiden TheKeen Awesome game, all the characters are so likable too thats the thing though... im not really sure who i should hate. All the characters seem to likeable that im not sure who the enemy is. I'll have to break that, then, by being amongst the first to say... I hate Ashe. I don't care if she's good or not. I hate her, she's a b***h. Vaan is...not sure just yet. But I love Fran. She's just, awesome, like Freya. My sister dislikes Ashe too. I understand where she's coming from, so she doesn't bother me. Where I am in the game, she doesn't really have lines anymore. She said one sentence after we beat a boss, and then mostly it's just been her doing her little gaspy thingy. Of course Fran is awesome. ^^ It's hard to say quite why. i hated ashe too to start off with but with her character developement i could understand where she was coming from. yes fran is awesome, i love her. she is very much like freya. Dunno if I'm gonna stop disliking her anytime soon, but...we'll see. I hated Princess Garnet, and honestly? After a while, I got a little attached to her. I've always hated the main girls - Tifa, Rinoa, Yuna - but she has been the only exception. I can't say that I liked Aerith much either, but I have too many reasons to name why, and I would preferably not begin to hate her over them. LilKitty115: I know! whee Yeee! So far, my favorite Final Fantasy favorites, for the girls? Fran, Freya, Lulu, and Quistis. heart I could get into the guys, but...hahaha, that would take too long. sweatdrop i really like the strong female characters too. It really annoys me that some femle characters start off weaker than male characters.

I honestly like Basch..
but Balthier is undoubtedly a spiffy man. I'd say him and Fran are my favorites. Fran is just so.. elegant.. and is actually a kick a** female . Also, she's a friggin Viera, so she's amazing!! muahaha!!

Penelo is fun, but not the most interesting character. I like Basch, don't like Vaan much, but Balthier...oh, honey. Mmm, mmm, MM. He's fine. My mom likes Basch more, though. 70+ hours into the game, I'm nearing the end, and only level 47-50 average. There's still a LOT of stuff for me to do, like the rare hunts! I haven't even finished the first hunts! I've got like, what, 20 out of 50 done? It's going to take me a long time to really complete this game. Absolutely love it! Long games ftw~ heart

I've just started the game and I'm about 1 hour into it. I'm loving the story line and the graphics. To be honest, I hate the battle system, but I could get used to it.
When I first saw Lord Vayne, I was like "Wow he's awesome" and then I thought came into my head. "I'll probably have to kill him later"

I finished it about a week or so ago. Clocked in at 158 hours. sweatdrop As for my favorite characters, I absolutely love Balthier and Basch. This was one game I truly enjoyed playing. Even the usually tedious task of grinding was fun. I loved the battle system as well.

I got it for christmas and only began playing it this past Sunday evening.
I am very much impressed and happy!
I've noticed very many ties to FFIX... Fran is a lot like Freya (who was my favorite character in IX)... the protagonists start off as theifs, etc.
I absolutely love Basch. He's awesome in that Auron-esque fallen kind of way wink But Fran is totally my favorite...
Mind you, I'm only 6 hours in... so that probably says something.
