Lucius felt the touch and it caused him to shiver a little before he spoke again, "I was talking with a friend and Lucia showed up... We were talking and Lucia started to tease me, so I got angry and threw my soda at her, it exploded knocking her over... And she jumped at me... My friend got scared and ran off just before you ran in..." Lucius said. "I have no idea where they are..." Please, please, please let her think he was making up friends again....

Lucia's eyes grew wide. He was such an idiot. She set it up so he wouldn't have to explain about his friend and he messed up. Last time she tried to help him out. She narrowed her eyes at him, shooting daggers to let him know she was mad at him again.
She batted at the feeling on her cheek, thinking a bug or something had flitted past her. She didn't know of Kethara's ability to become the wind.
"That's not what Lucia said." Dizzy knew Lucius was the honest one of the two and assumed it was always Lucia saying the lies anyway. "Young lady," she says, looking towards her daughter, "Its not nice to tease your brother, you know how hard of a time he has... stop exploiting his special friends." Yeah, she was thinking these were more 'imaginary' friends of his. "Lucia, finish taking those books to the library, then I want you to come home with me."
Lucia wanted nothing more than to punch her brother, but, she relented and just sighed. "Yes mother." She walked past everyone and went to the pile of books just inside the door where the books had originally been dropped when they first arrived.

Kethara felt so bad for Lucia, she wanted to help her but she knew that appear would give herself away. Looking around she floats back over to sit in the chair. She didn't know what she could do.
Turning towards Dizzy she tilts her head for a moment. Biting at her bottom lip she looks to her soda can, she hadn't open it yet. Did she dare, it would make the mother wonder, but then she also knew it could scare her.
Flying towards the soda can she zooms around it lifting it into the air before she floats it towards Dizzy. If anything it would make the mother forget about her children for a moment.

Lucius paled at what was going on. NO! If Dizzy found out they were all screwed! He would rather have Lucia mad at him, possibly for REAL than have this whole thing exposed. But it was too late, once Kethara had acted there was no way for him to stop her, and he just let his head drop. They were all going to die now, he was sure once he got home and Dizzy found out about Kethara that he was going to get another talking to, bot from her and from his father...
They were so DEAD!

Dizzy froze for a moment, being caught off guard by a floating soda? What in the ... ? She just stared for a minute then the little lightbulb went of in her head. "Lucius... is this your friend?" Her voice was calm. Alsmot scary calm.
Lucia heard her mother's voice and turned to look. She knew nothing of what Kethara could do so she had no idea what was going on. However, she was smart enough to sneak around the corner the avoid the fallout.

Kethara smiles then appears holding the soda can in her hand "Forgive me ma'am I didn't mean to cause a problem. I'm Ara, the wind spirit. I came by earlier today to check out some books and I found your son here reading a book. I got to talking to him when your very kind sweet daughter came in to join us. I was showing them both my powers when it went alittle out of control. I guess they both must have thought it was one another. When I heard you come in I freaked causing myself to turn to wind without my knowledge. Really the whole fight was my fault. Please forgive me for any stress this might have cause you. I forgot that I'm still learning to control my powers." bowing she pushes her hair away from her face hoping the older pae'il would understand.
"I was hoping I would be able to talk to your children here for alittle longer. I rarely get to see my siblings so to hear there stories about family and siblings makes me feel right at home with them as well as the isle." placing her hands behind her back.

"Yes mother... This is Kethara my friend..." Lucius looked down at his feet. They wre so screwed, sooo very screwed, beause his father shared all his information with his mother, so she already knew who Kethara was, after all dad had probably told her. "I was in the library and she bumped into me there and we started talking... I know I broke the rules when I talked to her, but I think that rule is stupid!" He grumbled, crossing his arms. "She's only my friend..."

Dizzy was generally pretty understanding and was one to weigh all sides of the issue. She was ready to forgive and forget the incident after Ara had explained things. However, Lucius... dear sweet gullable and naive and severly-lacking-in-any-common-sense Lucius spilled the beans and didn't even realize he was scott free from any punishment.
"Kethara, you say, Lucius?" Dizzy could feel her blood pressure rising. This was the name her husband had mentioned to her. She sighed, trying to calm herself down. "Lucius. Do you care about this girl?" She asked, flat out. She didn't know the extent of the father-son talks they'd had, but it was high time Lucius learned the reason behind the rules. Vale failed at doing that at times in his effort to enforce them.

Kethara looks over at Lucius in shock. He should have just agreed with her, but instead he gives her real name. Groaning inwards she remains quiet as she looks over at Lucius hoping he doesn't dig a deeper hole for himself.

Lucius turned to look at his mother. "Care about her? Yeah sure, as a friend," He bowed his head. "I think dad kind of went overboard when he talked about her earlier, I really don't see whats wrong with me having a female friend?" He sighed and shook his head. "Because that's what she is, my friend, my only REAL friend... Not like Sammual, or Steve, or Bob, or Larry, or Jenny, or Louis!" Sighing he shrugged. "But dad I guess just blew everything out of porportion, like he doesn't trust me..."
Lucius frowned and looked to Kethara, and then back at his mother. That HAD been the truth, at least in part. He knew that if he told his mother that he had a crush on Kethara that she would do the exact same thing his father did. And while he was naive, gullable, and lacking in common sense, he wasn't stupid, and he knew his parents and how they reacted to certain things... Besides, he was getting tired of selling everyone out, and right now he just wanted to go home and sleep this whole terrible night off.

Dizzy sighed and shook her head. She had high hopes for this boy. She knew he wasn't being honest, she could see it in his eyes. Besides, a mother knows her children. "Lucius. I hope you are being honest, for your sake. Not mine. Don't forget that I always have ways of finding out the truth." It was no secret she knew of his dishonesty. And part of Dizzy felt bad for that girl, if she heard what Lucius had said and if she cared for him as much as it was apparent Lucius did for her. All should could think about was how devastated she would feel if Vale ever called her 'just a friend'.
She was hoping to be able to have an adult talk with him, to explain things, because he had always been the most logical and sensible of the three children. She knew he'd understand, but apparently, he wasn't ready. He was too intent on being sneaky and lying about it. It broke her heart that ALL of her children thought her and Vale were just being strict and possessive. Maybe its just part of being a teenager?
"Lucius, I'll let you say your goodbyes. We'll talk at home later, with your father present." She sighed and turned to head towards the door. "Lucia... don't forget that book we came in to get. Just come home when you are done as well."
Dizzy was just tired. After all the stress from Joi, and now Lucius... she just didn't have the energy to deal with this proactively right now. That ... and she was disappointed in her son. And it showed on her face.
"Yes mom." Lucia said humbly as she watched her mother leave the building. She turned back to Lucius and just shook her head before glancing to Kethara. "Sorry, Kethara. I hope I didn't hurt you."

Kethara swallows her pride as she looks at Lucia. Giving her a smile she shakes her head "You didn't, I'm just sorry for any problems I may have caused." gives her a bow she turns looking at Lucius. The pain as clear as day in her eyes. She was the only alway calling them just friend, but to hear it from him.
Looking away she laughs alittle "I was right in staying away. I knew I would only cause you more trouble." turning she looks to Dizzy "You don't have to worry about seeing me again ma'am. I will leave your son alone, I'm just sorry I might have cause any ill feelings." with a nod she glances back at Lucuis before slipping pass the mother making her way towards the door.
She only stops when she reaches the door her hand on the doorknob. She was wrong for ever coming down from her mountain. It was where she belong, it was why she was put here in the first place. Shaking her head she just sat there looking at the ground.

Lucius felt terrible, he had disapointed his mother, he had hurt his sister, and he'd hurt Kethara. Right now all he wanted to do was lock himself in his room and never come out, and he knew he would. He was dieing on the inside, and when he saw her go by him he knew it would damn him but he had to do it anyway. He followed her to the door. "Kethara... wait..."
Looking over his shoulder and looks at his mother, and he sighed. "I'm sorry..." He bit his cheek and groaned. Either way he was screwed, he either got nailed by his mother or Kethara would never see him again. He touched her shoulder and sighed. "I'm stupid, I shouldn't have said what I said..."
The pulled his hand away and stood there, just looking down at his feet. He knew it was too late to fix things now, he'd made a mistake and he was just going to have to take the consiquences. But still... He gave Kethara a hug, and said. "Good luck..." And then pulled away, turning and standing in the hall eyes still locked on his feet. Waiting for his mother to lead the way home.

Dizzy sighed and shook her head. "Dear, you are young. Enjoy it while you can. You all have your whole lives ahead of you, to be tied down at such a young age. You should be worrying about going out with friends, not hooking up with them. And Kethara, you aren't the only one to blame. Lucius is responsible as well." She walked out, grabbing Lucius' arm and pulling him with her a few feet. "Good luck however, with your future and everything. Maybe when Lucius is ungrounded, you could visit each other. By that time, I'm sure he'll be an adult anyway." Her tone was full of snark with that last sentence and she'd turned to Lucius when she spoke it, and squeezed his arm a little. Her anger was building, but she was fighting it back.
She debated telling Vale the whole story. Afterall, she loved her son, and loved even more that he was alive still.
Lucia just stood, feeling guilty. But not overly so. If Lucius hadn't thrown that can at her, nothing would have happened. And dang it! Now she was going to have to fix that hole in the ceiling herself.
