Rein_Carnation
Shaylee zipped about the wonderful spring air stretching her wings for a change. She was tired of being cooped up and longed for a little "me time". High Flyer wasn't around nor was Saissis. Well that was no fun she agreed. Flitting here and there like a little hummingbird she just went along for the heck of it. Wow. It was such a beautiful day.

Rein_Carnation
Shaylee shifted her weight and slid slideways to twirl in the air. She giggled in spite of herself just letting the day take her to where it desired. Higher and higher she rose till her little lungs felt like they would burst. Shaking herself she skidded back to a reasonable breathing area and continued on. Life was wonderful.. eh? Oh yeah the feeling of hunger had ganged up upon her making the flutter's stomach pang with angry outbursts. "Aww you mean I have to go land... but my feet hurt." She sighed and then flitted lightly, as the breeze gently brought her to a flawless landing on the ground.

Rein_Carnation
Shaylee grumbled as she landed though her eyes shimmered at the Sugarplum trees growing around her. A twirl of happiness emerged as she grabbed one munching happily. Still though she was bored. B O R E D. Everyone always left her alone at the teepee. And where was Azure? So many thoughts racing through her head she wanted to stamp in frustration.

Rein_Carnation
Shaylee pouted as she headed over to a drinking pool. Looking deeply at her reflection she noted the stains around her muzzle. "Just you and me huh?" she giggled with a prance in the grass. "Well okay then.. that's how it is then." She tossed her head and danced back and forth. She imagined she was air as she twirled herself back and forth.

Rein_Carnation
Everly shook his head at Shaylee. The teal fox wondered about his charge that acted so odd sometimes. He seated himself a bit away from her. "Shaylee what may I ask are you doing?" He raised his right paw scratching his head gently. Everly grumbled at being ignored. The nieve flutter mare could be such a pain somedays.

Shaylee tossed her head rearing up and stepping sideways. She shimmied herself dancing infront of the water. Always watching her reflection she simply seemed in bliss with herself. Throwing herself up in the air she swished her long tail back and forth. "Be Happy everyone.... La la dance to the music."

Glory and Kimi meet Falla Sun May 14, 2006 AM

K i n u
The wind whispered through the ancient canopies as it might through the feathers of a hawk on the prowl. The forest floor was sent into a splatter of spots, shadows from the treetops above. Roots from the trunks of wild trees sprouted up here and there, causing a hazard to any runner who forgot to use his eyes and mind the path ahead. Tricksters of the forest, awaiting the foolish and holding back folds of laughter for the unfortunate. Cool pools of water could be found at the bases of such trees, smaller animals scurrying in a flurry to sip and avoid the keen eyes of any predator prowling the area. It did not do to become dinner so early in life.

All though relatively silent there was a sudden sound, like the beat of a heart or the rumble of thunder. Hooves against earth, a pounding. A flash of purple, no.. not simply purple a cascade or rainbow of purples appeared and disappeared from within the folds of the forest. Birthed from the mysteries of its heart. As though she were a spirit or ghost forced to run the earth until reaching its edge. The beat slowed to a steady rhythm, nostrils flaring with breath, chest rising and falling steadily. Her upright ears swiveled first one way and then another in complete opposition of each-other. Minding the area for any other signs of life. And once assured she was alone her graceful neck declined to partake of a much needed drink. Her throat burned with parch and once she'd tasted the sweet waters of this region she found herself entranced.

Rein_Carnation

As the day forwarded to night the sky darkened to a canopy of shining orbs within the sky. The breeze light yet carrying a simple chill gave grace to the shining mother orb within the sky. Every creature dormant till this very moment had seemed non-existant then exploded like magick all over the land. Two figures, one of pure white along with one of shadowed gray walked silently amongst the life that scattered here and there. Their eyes captured the escence of the night bathing them in radiance of what futures they could possess.

Walking side by side the unicorn and the lemur mare were recalled as a team. One helping the other on things they didn't understand. Flowing manes and tails combined of a radiant silken river of purples and black and white paused nearest a soft pool within the ground. They were thirsty feeling the need to drink heavily.

K i n u
The Spirited female drank deeply, the waters sating her almost monsterous need. She'd been traveling long and at a pace that might suggest she had Kalona at her heels. As the sun slowly burned its last and allowed night to reign she found herself amazed by the marvelous heavens. Lifting her head and tossing her mane. The silken hair falling as water across the sheen of her pelt, the hues contained within it too multiple to truly number. Her tail tossed to first one side, then the other before it stilled. Widening her nostrils, scenting the earth in all its glory and exhaling lengthily. The very beating of her heart sounding as a song to the mare. Reminding her of how much journey she still had.

A sound. One ear caught it first and swiveled in its direction, followed closely by the second. Her head turning slowly, eyes calm and intelligent as she scanned the darkness with her eyes. What beasts roamed these parts during such an hour aside from travelers or those who sought knowledge and the enigma of night. Her breathing came in length, having slowed it into silence. The sudden splutter and gradually numerous bodies of fireflies graced the forest with their light. Dancing, like earth bound stars.

Rein_Carnation

Kimimela smiled warmly as the mother moon still held her grace for a day at most. She was rather prominent in remembering how the mother liked to go into a deep sleep until she rose in eloquent grace once more among the thousands of lights dwelling around her. The mare birthed with the mysterious orange eyes plunged her head into the water first drinking deeply. The water was a blessing as it was pure and clear as her own homeland. Water that simply poured from the sky, opening up realeasing itself unto the crying land. Ah the smell that she remembered most days standing there, simply listening to the droplets bounce upon each leaf or branch.

Glory followed directly behind Kimi drinking with her neck stretched to reach the deeper water. Her snow white form shimmering like a legend. Eyes of the purest cyan blue glanced at her reflection feeling a bit of happiness rush through her entire being. The spiral she was adorned with gleamed the mother's light creating a shimmer that danced in a waltz, its own manner making her more radiant than she'd ever notice before.
The wind carried a new scent. A Soquili perhaps as it danced in mirth around her. Her nostrils flared as she combed through the others that tricked her senses. Lifting her head slowly the mare adorned with the alicorn caught a glimpse of another not to far off. Breathing softly she whickered to Kimimela the same.

K i n u
Nerves made a bundle of her muscles, a flighty feeling that birds must feel when they cannot fly and a predator prowls the edges of their unfortunate fate. Flexing beneath her smooth pelt, granting the wilderness a gander at what allowed her such speed on earth. Though often it merely appeared she was halfway between flying and running. Like a dream caught in the world between the dreamer and the world where dreams were birthed.

The wind, more a breeze at this hour, toyed with the lighter strands of her mane, tousling her forelock and sending it into a slide across her eyes and to one side. Yet she moved not, even as it tickled and bothered her eyelid she allowed her body only room to breath and blink. Perchance she was flighty or nervous by nature. In truth this was not so. Falla was simply cautious. A wise creature by birth and yet always careful to understand a situation before she granted it her view.

Rein_Carnation

The night gave bad tidings sometimes which caused senses and emotions to run high. The mare did not move nor did she show any form of greeting them. Perhaps it was caution, maybe a willing trial to see if the two were worthy of approaching her. This all ran thoughtfully through the limber white mare's contemplations. She breathed in the other's scent being carried to her from the distance lying between them. Turning towards the lemur mare she gasped in a shock. Kimimela was already in a steady walk towards the washed over purple mare. Glory shook herself extending her lung legs into a quick walk. Though nothing short of simply catching the gray mare as she made her way toward the other.

Kimimela had learned on her own that others could be trusted. Trust a feeling you earned. A pact between two that knew and respected one another. Time was in her hands and she intended to use what she was learning. Perhaps the other would scold her, send her away into the coldness of forgetfulness. But she had to try. Determination was something she practiced on and would demonstrate as it was learned.
The eyes of the jungle lie within as thy gleamed the eerie orange when first opened. So close now her motions told her. In one fleeting moment would the mare simply run away or face her in a bout of friendliness?

K i n u
The mare blinked steadily, her form exuding a kind of serenity as she observed the approaching Soquili with a mixture of curiousity, caution and even, in some remote way, comfort. Her startling eyes catching the light from a passing firefly and illuminating in the night. Did they come with ill intent? She could gather little scent, the wind was against her this eve, sending her scent to them and leaving her to grasp and strain her scent glands. Nostrils flaring, steady inhalations as she finally managed to weed out the faint traces among a multitude of other more powerful scents. She found it slack with inauspicious emotions. And therfore she relaxed her tense body, feeling it thank her and slip the wild mare into a stance of welcome. A more approachable look to the Soquili.

Raising her sleek neck to regard them, her eyes both warm and clever at once. As though an intelligence smoldered beneath the quiet surface. Falla was raised on folklore and enigmas, on the path to places fortold in legend and hidden behind simple fairy-tale. Therefore she was full of stories, full of songs and full of knowledge. Then again she was quiet, more prone to absorb knowledge from others than to relay any. Living off mystery turned her into one and by nature she left most guessing or unsure of where she stood on any ground. The trees swayed slightly, the leaves sounding close to the crash of a wave across the golden shores of the ocean. And slowly, the sound died away.

Rein_Carnation

The mother shinied upon the gray mare with a sense of protection. Her warmth was not of the sun but more of a reflective nature. Time would tell how the mare would show her own interest toward her. Swallowing deeply she spoke loud and clear trying to be as understanding in her speech as she could. Closing her orange orbs away from the light she gathered her senses.

"Day is good to you yes? Kimimela is who I am yes. Forest I am born living with Glory. Meet you it is nice." she chattered trying her best to be as polite as possible. Hopefully she wasn't condeming herself to be a freak in other's eyes. Trying so hard on her lessons to create communication that was ledgible and understood.

Glory nodded her long elegant neck white as snow it contrasted her silken mane and tail. Flowing rivers of dark violet streamed cascading from her towards the ground beneath. Her eyes were smiling as she breathed her first words unto the newcomer. Celendria had taught her adoptive daughter well to always be polite to anyone she'd encounter.

"Good eve to you. I do hope we are not bothering you." she notioned towards Kimi who had indeed taken the first inititive. "I am Glory and of course this is Kimimela. She is foriegn to this land so please bear with her when she tries to talk with you."

The mare then stood tall trying her best to not show any sort of mal content. Surely the other was as docile as she and Kimi. The breeze that swept past them playfully lifted her bangs rearranging them before she placed them back to their original location.

K i n u
Falla listened, filtering out the sound of the wind and the chirp of the crickets to hear and be sure no mistakes were made on her part. The accent of the first female caught her by surprise. A forgeiner? Like herself perhaps? She did not excite nor did she allow herself to speak outright, she simply waited and listened further. Fully understanding of the females protective nature as it came through loud and clear. The second spoke now, her tongue experienced in the native language and her body showing no signs of aggression. Then again, as the enigmatic female watched and listened, she knew they mean't her no harm. If she felt otherwise about them she wouldn't have relaxed so easily. Her ears stood upright, turned foreward to show she was listening and intended to keep listening.

As all fell silent it felt like ages until the purple female slowly, very slowly, inclined her head in greeting. Where she hailed from inclining the neck to certain degrees relayed respect or greeting depending. Of course such was most likely used commonly among others. She claimed no special hold over such a tradition. Her voice flowed in serene harmony with the wind, like the whisper of the earth or the soft chime of ornamental bells. "Hark, greetings." She replied, her voice carrying well over the ever shrinking distance between herself and the unfamiliar mares. She spoke not often, nor was she in any way used to casual, sporatic conversation. Though she would endevor to do her best. "I am Falla, daughter of Kael of the Winged. Might I inquire as to from where you both hail?"

Rein_Carnation

Listening intently the language of the newcomer was strange to the gray shaded mare though she perked her ears with high interest. Her assumptions were clear that this would not be a fateful meeting with malicious intent. That which the stories of the demons she shied away from to perserve her own bravery. Thinking on lineage she frowned deeply remembering her parents lost in a storm. Disheartening as it seemed she held her memories in secret away from the curious world. Not even Glory knew this tragic tale which was best lined within the grieving forienger's heart.

"Trees yes a long way from here. Still home I call this that trees still grow here. Know not..," she paused with a sigh, "of family live with I would have yes."

She paused once more feeling slightly offbalanced though her eyes reflected she was fine. Yes some things were better off being locked away. Precious things one held dear always deserved to be remembered.

The unicorn's eyes widened at seeing the lemur mare's temper for an instant change. Like that of a looming oppression that was eating at her like a carnivore. She frowned slightly feeling sadness n** at her flanks.
It wasn't in one's interest to pry but it seemed Kimi held something dark in her heart. She shook her curiousity in respect returning to a nod towards the newcomer.

"I am Glory whom was founded by Celendria on the night the star fell.
I am said to be the star which my mother followed finding a basket bearing my mark." she noted pointing her muzzle toward her distintive shining shooting star among her rump. "We come from the forest near the mountains to the North."

She stood proudly letting her breath fill in and escape her great lungs. Thinking on the gifts she'd help make this very morning to honor both Aria and her mother Celendria.

K i n u
Falla could almost taste the hint of sadness on the air and it made her eyes soften momentairily before she remembered herself and they slipped into that clever, aloof glow. It took her a trifle longer to understand the foreign female but she gave her just as much attention as she did Glory. Manners were well bred with her, polite interaction was key in almost all that she did. Her tail slid from one side to the other, almost like it was rocking back and forth. Finally the motion stopped and she was left standing perfectly still among the silvery moonlight, then again she was well covered by the canopies above.

"Well met." She answered, it was, for the most part, her way of saying 'It's a pleasure to meet you.'. Falla could understand the dialect of this region quite well, she simply had a difficult time slipping into it. Preffering her own dialect instead. Perchance she was simply hard-headed in the matter, in time she would most likely warm up to this language. "From the North, I've a ways." Her gaze shifted off into the forest, giving her a feel of distance from the moment. Minutes passed slowly until she turned back to regard the females. "I pray, have you a place I might rest 'til morning wakes?" She could sleep here, beneath the moonlight and stars. But in such unfamiliar territory it was not wise to travel alone. And she'd been doing just that for too long, her luck was bound to run out if she kept up such a lifestyle.

((Sadly this is my last post for you because of my sleep schedule.. feel free to post in the teepee anytime or grab me in the thread *huggles*))

As the night broke into the early hint of dawn the call of the canines initiated the normal routine. Light would come as fast as day washed into the sleek blackness of night. This was how the Soquili from Celendria's bonds lived and breathed daily.

The lemur mare watched a bird make its way overhead firmly gripping the branch its claws dug into. It was nothing of the colorful sort she remembered but it was interesting in its own natural habitat. She breathed with an air of reassurrance that she was fine but she still felt that lingering sadness cling to her very existence. Shaking her head vigourously she tried ridding herself only to look back at her companions whom she knew developed a bit of concern.

"Glory. Go we must as day nears us yes? Room is plenty within home. Come with us may you yes?" she queried towards the unicorn looking quite distained but not completely taken from her conscience yet.

Glory sensed the morning approach on fleeting wings as the grass moistened her fetlocks. She felt the damp air tickle her nose with the sensation of an itchy horn. She of course wouldn't make a fool of herself though to relieve her little annoyance. Kimi on the otherhand was making her worry with good reason. Though it was hidden something was wrong.

"Indeed Kimimela. Yes Falla you are more than welcome to stay in the clearing of trees we live within. It is warm with safe souls whom dwell there. We're quite a mismatched group but we are kind and welcome all whom need shelter. Come with us."

She turned toward the horizon spotted faintly of pink as the sun prepared his glorious return strung along by horses, magnificent creatures pulling the great glowing orb toward the heavens where he's sit in all his majesty overlooking all there was to gaze upon.

Glory meets Starlight... someone special returns Tue May 16, 2006 PM

Shariea
(( Posted nel ))

Starshine's golden hoves shined brightly against the fading rays of light that dipped low in the sky. The bright orb hovered above the mountains, kissing them affectionately before it departed for the night. Dust nipped at the suns heels and with a toss of her mane, an etheral shower of a rainbow seemed to fall from the sky itself.

The pure white unicorn nickered softly as she paused to watch the sun dip behind the blue black forms of the mountains, a smile on her face. Her tail flicked and pooled against the ground as did her long mane. Each strand seemed to hold a differnt color, an ever moveing rainbow of color.

Rein_Carnation
As the sun was sinking into the horizon he parted ways to let dusk fill in her part. Darkness spread about the land in a calm cool motion breathing harmony for all the creatures whom slept during the day. White as snow a creature stepped silently out into the world her eyes focusing on the canopy with a thousand lights winking back at her. Breathing softly she stretched her elegant form flicking her purple river for a few minutes letting it cascade down her slender legs. Tonight in her own regard was a lazy one carrying no promises of improving. Tossing her head her mane silky as satin parted around the shining spiral which shined brightly in the faint light. She worried much about her friend but still felt it was time to talke a nice walk for a change.

Shariea
Starshine lifted her head to the night air that surrounded her and closed her indigo eyes to the moonlight, letting the silver rays caress her face. A sound off to her left broke from her her trance and lazily her eyes opened, with a gracefull turn of her head a trail of rainbow following her movements she smiled. Another mare, a unicorn as well. Her front hoove pawed lightly at the ground, a flash of gold against the silver of the night. She whickered a peaceful greeting to the unicorn of pure white and violet.

Rein_Carnation
As if a blinding light had struck her out of misery Glory looked up towards the welcome she had recieved.Could it be worriment could make one's soul sadden as a plant wilts with no sunshine? No this was wrong she was stronger. Thinking briefly she nickered back her eyes filling with happiness seeing this newcomer who like her carried a glistening alicorn.
She stood tall relaxing her withers a bit as if to pull out the tension they carried. Perhaps this was good to actually be with one whom was like her.

Shariea
The colorful unicorn drew herself up to the mare before her in a flourish of her mane and tail, the colors seemed to dift around her like an ethreal sheen, gracing her pure white form. Her golden horn sparkled against the moonlight as she diped her head in greeting. "Hello there." she said in a smooth and pleasnt voice, smiling all the while. "Im Starshine, what may your name be stranger?" she asked tilting her head lightly to the side. The female before her seemed to have her mind drifting off to some other part of her, a place that currently was not very pleasant. The tension was written all over her muscles and worn on her face. This disterbed Starshine greatly, for she had not seen another of her kin so badly distressed in quite awhile. "Are you alright dear?" she asked at length in an almost motherly tone.

Rein_Carnation
The unicorn white as snow her main and tail silken violets running around her like water noddeed. She contemplated a bit reminding herself Kimi was a grown mare. She blinked smiling as if to show her feelings were no harm to her. "No no.. I'm fine. I'm Glory that fell from the shooting star. I am Celendria's adoptive daughter. I come from the trees that form a clearing in the woods." she answered with her words true but her heart wasn't in what she wanted to reply.

Meanwhile a mare that gleamed of ice stood alone in the brush simply watching the unicorns. She felt something odd from the purple haired one. Something that made her heart pang. Why these days did children never explain their pain?

Shariea
Star nodded quietly, her rainbow locks drifting over her shoulders and around over her indigo eyes. "I am Starshine, But you may call me star if you like. I have no story, nor home as you have. Its a pleasure to meet you, Glory of the falling star." she said, raising her gaze once more to look upon the snow white mare, fair as a lily.

The summer breeze difted over her fine downy pelt and she closed her eyes into its tender embrace. A chill caressed her, and cause her to open her eyes once more. The moonlight rained down over the fine blue form of the icy mare. "would that be her then, the icy mare on the horrizon?" she asked, looking off into the distance.

Rein_Carnation

Glory blinked looking directly towards the ice mare her eyes widening. How long had it been that Celendria had vanished away from the herd.
Mother... I've.. missed you." she whinied turning back to Starlight with a deep beauty that covered her in radiance. "Yes she is my mother. This night must be truly special indeed."

Celendria stood only for a moment before she made her way toward the two creatures of elegance and lore. She nodded her head to them both leaning over to nuzzle her daughter.

"Growing so fast Glory. My little shooting star." she nickered lovingly. Lifting her head she turned towards Starlight with a deep tranquil smile.
"I am Celendria whom is called the ice mare. It is a pleasure to meet another that is as special as Glory."

Shariea
The raindbow unicorn smiled as the one known as Glory instantly lit up upon seeing the radiant icy mare. She smiled as she watched the change take place over the unicorns face, the tension she bore vanishing from her muscles. This mare before her was still young, the weight she had born down from the hills had made her appear much older.

Her rainbow tail lashed against the ground and pooled like liquid behind her on the grass. "Its a pleasure to meet you, Celendria, mare of ice, as I told Glory of the faling star, I am Starshine. No Special title or story to tell on my behalf. You may adress me as star if you like." She said with a smile, and a light chuckle in her voice.

Rein_Carnation

Glory looked up in curiousity now as if she were a young filly once more. "May I be so bold to ask you a question Star?" she beamed with a hint of silliness to her soft yet mystical voice. Her tail was now swishing back and forth, the moon reflecting off her purple tresses.

Celendria raised a brow at her daughter wondering what Glory was up to though refrained from saying. Instead she turned toward the other unicorn of Raninbow and spoke, "Have you no place to tred in the storms or hot days?" This she asked in concern wondering if this newcomer like the others she had taken in needed a home to keep one safe.

Shariea
Starshine laughed as Glory's bubbly nature seemed to explode from her now that her bothersome worries where erased from her mind. "But of corse, you may ask me anything you wish darlin' " she said with a chuckling smile. Her indigo eyes glanced over to the icy mare as she turned to look at her. She smiled brightly and shook her hair, liquid rainbow difting over her pale white form. "Alas I do not, Im new to this area, the elements havent really bothered me and food has always been plentyful. Dont look so distressed, please? I assure you I am in good health. "

Rein_Carnation

Glory tilted her head and smirked, "Alright then.. have you ever thought you could fly? I mean high in the sky like the wingeds and flutters?" she announced raising each of her forelegs in anticipation to her answer.
Ever since she was a child she had dreamed of flying. Though her wings simply would not show themselves.

Celendria shook her head knowing the thunderstorms were nearing within a few turns of the bright orb in the sky. "Nonesense. I'd be honored if you sought shelter in our clearing on days that prove un travelable. All are welcome to stay from the elements. The winds have spoke to me of the storms that approach. Please consider my offer when you may." she nodded standing solem yet refined. Mane and tail long as they flowed into the winds that passed.

Shariea
Starshine smiled as Glory seamed to her much the child now before her. She smiled and nodded her head, her golden horn sparkling against the dark night sky. "I have at times, wished that I could fly... ive raced so hard against the land that I thought I really could at times, But alas.. You and I, and your mother are creatures of the land. And no amount of wishing or longing will change a thing such as that. Be content in what you are deary, and you'll find happiness where ever you go. " She smiled lightly and bent her head low to the slightly smaller mare, touching her golden horn to Glory's silver white one. "You are special enough as you are, and although your heart may have wings, you do not. Perhaps those wings will attach themselves to your feet, and you will be swift indeed, to the point of flight." She said softly to the little one.

She drew her head back and smiled to the cool icy mare. "I would be honored to bunk down with you and the rest of your kin when the weather turns or just to bed down for the night. " she said, already having taken a liking to the both of them.

Rein_Carnation

Glory giggled in spite of herself. She remembered her first flight with Tori. What a disaster that was. Nothing but a white unicorn scorn by the ground she rolled in a ball upon. Still the idea was quite amusing thinking of the times she'd race Tori. "Yeah I know but its something that will forever make me think I do. I fell from the star and someday... Wish upon one I'll be up there with those stars."
She tossed her head and listened deeply. The sky was growing faintly lighter. Time had once again taken its preccedings and advanced itself. Soon the call would come from the hills, the lone wold dog that frightened her as a child.

Celendria smiled deeply. "We are many breeds and races, newcomers and natives, though we are a herd. We welcome any who ask and help those in need. Thank you for accepting. You are very welcome." she noted looking at Glory. :Time is changing Glory. The sun shall part way from the night. It is time we return.. no worries of Kohana. My son is out learning things on his own currently."

Saissis encounters Nathaniel: First Meeting Cont' Tue May 16, 2006 AM

Guardian Yami
The white figure laid there. He turned his head to turn towards the voice of the mare nearby and looked upon her with his one eye.

"Nay, I am not injured," he spoke softly, "just tired."

The white stallion lowered his head again, then gazed up to the stars once again.

" I never get tired of looking at them, everytime you look up you see something different, and the sky is so boundless, with no walls to hold it in. It's as if the sky goes on forever. Everynight on my journies I gaze up at the sky to see the stories the stars tell me, for they tell something different with each passing night, I hope to one night be part of those stars' stories."

Rein_Carnation
((Nah he;s continuing from the other night... next time make a note yami^^))

The flutter still held concern that he would lie down so abruptly as he did. She normally didn't hesitate to remain in situations like this but for some reason lady thought she should.

"Being tired is not something to pass on by. Always rest and keep your strength. Besides have you not known this land you'd know predators walk among us. Do be careful in where you decide to rest. Consideration is best."

She walked in closer to get a good look at him. So much larger he was in size to her with wings gifted from the Soquili heavens. His mane was unique brushing more so over his one eye. She smiled lightly craning her deep blue neck to the skies.

"The skies carry so many things as in stars and moons. It is true they change with the blink of an eye. It is quite valiant of you to dream of the sky. I am Lady Saissis. Who may you be?" she motioned as her head turned back toward him.

Guardian Yami

His head lowered again, bringing his gaze back to her.

"I don't rest much, I just can't seem to sleep well these days. It's hard to come by. It often feels like everytime I fall to sleep, it's suddenly time to get back up again. But then again, I never do stay in one place to terribly long."

His eyes returned to the stars again, " I do not know if I would so much call it dreaming about the stars, or dreaming of being part of them. But they have stories left untold. I have seen them alot since I have been down the path for quite along time.," His head turned one again towards her, "I apologize, it is rude that I have not yet introduced myself. My name is Nathaniel, Nathaniel Christopher. I've been down along path for ten years, trying to find the answers I've been searching for, but I never seem to reach them."

Rein_Carnation

Her eyes seemed compassionate as he told his tale. A knight from stories in her own land. One whom would protect that which he felt was most pure. She smiled thinking how in legend his kind were so very few.
Looking about she felt a crink in her right foreleg causing her to wince in pain. She tried lifting it only to feel the stabbing return.

"Would you mind terribly if I rested near you. I do not like treading alone in the wilderness and seems something has developed in my right fore."

She winced again trying pressure only to squeak in a bit of surprise. Perhaps she had landed on something earlier that day.

Guardian Yami

His eye widened a bit then relaxed.

"I don't really mind, but I don't think I'll make that great of company to keep, so I'll leave that decision up to you. I shall certainly try resting soon, but rest as always may seem near impossible. All I can do is try to make sure you're safe if I remain awake. I can not make no promises, but I can certainly try.

His eyes went back to gazing at the stars as if hoping for somethign to happen in the sky tonight. It was awefully clear out and the stars were bright. Nathaniel hoped that he might get tired soon to attempt a chance at sleep, but his mind was always racing, he couldn't stop thinking.

Rein_Carnation

She knelt near him but not terribly too close. Refinement carried in her blood and she knew her boundries. It was nice to listen to him though feeling her own self feel secure in his presence. Her leg was bothering her horribly though which made her cry outwards in pain.

""Ahnoo... sleep is best when you...are.. tired." she whinied with a distain to her voice. Tears were forming though she bit them back as she could muster. "Please don't leave just yet.. I don't want to be stranded out here in this land." she sighed with a single tear that had began its journy down her cheek. Stretching her leg outward she winced not knowing a thorn was imbedded deeply within her right hock.

Guardian Yami

Nathaniel shook his head slightly while gazing into the night sky, "You misunderstand me miss, I am in no hurry to leave from this spot for the night, as I am tired. I will be here at least till morning, so if you need to rest, you may feel free to do so."

Truth be told, he did feel tired himself, but it was more than physical tiredness he was feeling. Deep inside he wished that the questions inside his head would stop and give him some silence. It was mentally exhausting for him, always thinking, havign things left un answered. He snorted a bit in frustration, but then began to lay down for the evening.

To be continued...

((need Takoda's banner))

Takoda meets his sister Kitara Tue May 16, 2006 PM

Rein_Carnation
The sky was covered in the most gorgeous blue canopy filled with fluffy clouds as soft as cotton. The birds chirping merrily as the breeze promised no rain for a couple more days. Harmony sang her escence bringing happiness to all whom danced within her endless world.

Takoda the young son of Sheridan was learning rapidly the ways of his kind. His stout little legs carrying him now stablely through the grasses that seemed impossible before. Carefree with an imagination as his guide he began to dance, one fore than the next.

Shariea
The sun rained down on the little form of Kitara, her snow white locks with but a strip of black danced in the wind as the kiss of the scent of wild flowers woke her from her slumber. Sleepily she glanced about, yawning liberally. Lazily she took to her feet and blinked her sleepy brown eyes to the world. It was so much better out here than in her stuffy basket, and already she had outgrown it beyond the point of ever returning to it. Nickinering softly she looked first left than right... strangely enough she was alone.

Her ears flicked back and forth and with a smirk she began to tip toe away from her sleeping spot. After all she wouldnt be gone for long, and it wasnt like she'd be missed. She wanted adventure! She made he way through the sweet grasses a light layer of dew grasping her downy coat. His little tail flicked as she bumped head log into her brother. "Hey! watch where you're going will ya?" she snorted and shook her head.

Rein_Carnation
Not noticing the impact the colt whom danced so happily was knocked offbalance as his hooves went everyway but where he told them. The world seemed quite strange for a moment till he shook himself regaining his senses. This spitfire filly looked oddly familiar carrying the scent of his mother. He thought for a moment contemplating which sister this was.

Snorting he pawed the ground remembering their names his parents spoke from their wise mouths. Kitara or Meena. Which was it he wondered? Walking around her slowly he finally thought on it. "Good day to you Kitara. You should watch who you plow into next time though." he scolded tossing his head to get the point across.

Shariea
The filly shook her head and flatted her ears back against her head, snorting a bit she sighed. "Takoda..." she snorted and rolled her eyes. Boys..."and what was it you where doing exactly? Prancing about?" she raised a brow and giggled. It honestly sounded like fun, but she wouldnt let on to that. "come on Takoda...lets Plaaaaaaaaay." she said, drawing out the word in a pitiful whine. She was so bored!

Rein_Carnation
((*foal combat.. start your engines*))

The colt dipped in chocolate and white as it formed on his little torso smiled wrly at his sister. "Dancing of course..ahem like dad does. I'm getting good at it too." he motioned lifting his forelegs high in step. Swaying back and forth his little soft fluffy tail wiggled along with him. He paused perking his high ears, "Play what? What is it you girls like to play?" To him it sounded like trouble but then again two could be more fun that one.

Shariea
The little filly giggled as she watched her brother prance about, high stepping as he did so. She'd never seen their father dance, so maybe it was just something males did.. boys sure were funny. She snorted a bit and shook her mane from side to side. Her white front hoove pawed at the ground as she grinned at him. A gleem of mischief relfected in her eyes. "Hmm we could play... Tag.." she reached out with her nose and head butteded him along his flank. "you're it!" she yelled as she rounded and began to run off through the tall grass as fast as her long legs could take her.

Rein_Carnation
A bird that resembled a crow flew overhead as she head butted his side. His thoughts mimicing his dance never mingled to the thought she had caused him to be the "chaser". When it hit him his legs were already in a single gaited motion following after her steadily. Though he was but a mere foal his muscles were well defined as was his senses. Stretching his limber legs farther he could gain more speed. "This just might be what I need to learn more to being even better.... Better what out I'm right behind you."

Shariea
Kitara giggled as she ran her strong legs thrundering across the ground. Her body weaved through the trees with speed and agility, although her chest was pumping hard and her breath was becoming labored. She was going to have to slow soon, but she wanted to give her brother a mighty good chase first. She turned back to look at him and suddenly weaved to the left, circling back to where they had started. "ha!"

Rein_Carnation
If there was one thing the colt was born with it was knowing when someone was being ornry. He followed her quite close judging her movements as his breath made his nostrils fall inwards and back out again. Head bobbing he was nearly there, a few inches and he could...

Her direct turn was not accounted for causing him to blindly swerve himself around to follow after her. This was trouble that she had once again gained the upperhand. He snorted pulling in his speed yet again. It was like a dreamworld as it wizzed by so fast. Lowering his head he thought of his own ideas waiting to see what she'd do next. 'You just wait."

Shariea
Kitara grined, pleased in the fact that she had foiled his attempt to tag her so early. Her speed slacked as he breath heaved, heavy in her chest. her muscles began to burn and her legs ached with they force of her running. she stumbled and winces, knowing he was going to tag her at any moment. Though surely he was feeling the effects of running so hard and fast as well.

She smirked as she slowed to a light trot, picking her hooves up high in mimicry of what he'd been doing earlyer. "Just wait for what Takoooooda?"

Rein_Carnation

The colt snorted feeling a pang of expiration to his speed. No matter until he kneeled over in a way that would clog his stride he'd continue. Thinking to himself, "Man girls are so weak.. sheesh." Galloping now he was catching up fast, but for some reason he didn't want to tag her. It wasn't from the fact she'd try to come after him, moreso she was highly weakened by their little escapade. Though a spitfire loomed within her soul she was still a youth fresh to the world.

Pulling up alongside her practically he watched her try to dance like he did. Though her legs just didn't move as well as his. Still it was fun to watch and wait for her to scold that he didn't tag her.

Shariea
Kitara pranced a bit and smirked at her brother. Tossing her head back so that her white hair spilled over her shoulders and framed her face. She giggled and tilted her head to look at him. "whats the matter, dont want to tag a girl?" she asked in a sing song voice, tanting him on.

(( Muse is dying with the heat..*melts* ))

Rein_Carnation

The colt smirked quite light heartedly with a shake of his head. "Nah its not that. Don't even lie about being tired either. You may be a girl but even I know when things are too much." he snorted with a wink. "I'm thirsty anyway." he announced as his feet put him into a dancing motion filing past her. That is not before he nipped her flank and danced on his merry way. "Oh right.. I guess I should say "Tag" you're it." Turning playfully he winked back at her heading out towards the warter his thirst desired.

A Solem Prayer for those Lost Tue May 16, 2006 PM

Rein_Carnation
((For some reason I feel like bringing her out))

The sun was now setting in grace of the mistress known as night. The air much cooler now carried still the beauty of spring along with the birds singing gayly in the trees.

A sole figure stood overlooking the hill she stood upon. Her eyes orange as the setting sun simply gazed out upon the stretched land. Her head held upright pulling her entire form into a magnificent painting of greys, blacks, and whites. She did not smile in her usual grace nor did she speak her words this day. In rememberence of the storm and all who were lost she simply lowered her head leaving one solem tear slowly release from her eyes.

Rein_Carnation
The mare reopened her eyes holding her precious secret within her breast so lovingly. She had met such wonderful souls in this new place. Loving natures that accepted her being "different" and strange. Yet no one ever acted as if her way of living was any different then theirs. She was grateful for that.

The sun had begun setting behind the horizon leaving traces of pinks and orange almost making her feel she was back there once more. Everyone playing to their heart's content as they lived day to day. Not one would ask for her to feel this way. They'd want her to be content with her new family and live her life on. She blinked in disbelief seeing her old herd as they stood waiting in the distance. Then they were gone once more.

She paused thinking with a smile. Of course she wasn't alone as they'd always be with her. She pondered Glory, of what she was doing right now.
They were like a team together, one never without the other. "That's how it should be" she nodded to herself.

Turning slowly from the horizon she pulled her head up straight letting her mane and forelock fall playfully down her face and neck. She would try for the others, but mostly she'd try for herself. Beginning to run the gray mare released that which plagued her heart, opening herself up to the future.

Kimimela finds Glory Again Thu May 18, 2006

Rein_Carnation
The night was alive with the sounds of frogs and some bugs chirping in merry little tones. Nothing that would bother a pristine gray mare that was chipper as a lark and just as vocal. She announced her query loud and clear that her voice trailed on for miles. "Glory! Glory Oh. Glory is where? Kimi look for you she does!" she snorted prancing a bit as her muscles carried her into the clearing where she could get a better look.

Rein_Carnation
Glory was a bit down in the clearing watching beautiful cranes as they nestled out in the still moonlit waters. Peace was harmony as it weaved itself over the land she stood upon. Her white neck of shining escence arched towards the water to drink slowly, taking in the still water as it quenched her thirst. Her ears swived cathing a call as it swept itself atop the coming breeze. A call of happiness as it hit her like a big snowball.
Pulling herself up straight she whinied high then low to let Kimi know where she was in waiting.

Rein_Carnation
As a flock of birds scattered from the gray mare's call her response was quicker than she anticipated. Practically jumping in place her body moved as smooth as liquid ice as she galloped her way toward the one she sought. Her eyes were filled with tears in the distance she had placed herself from the herd in. Sad memories were like bitter bits of grass that lingered in one's mouth long after they had try to digest it. But Kimimela was learning to respect those she loved even in their passing. As each step brought her closer the lemur colored mare pushed even harder to get there. She hated worrying her friends, hating herself for making them sad. Each hoofbeat that echoed on the ground brought her closer till she saw her friend. The one friend that didn't laugh nor shun, accepted and adored; Glory.

Glory stood waiting as another flock of birds flew upwards from the sound of loud hoofbeats. Her mane flowed like a river as did her silken tail touching upon the ground. She knew Kimi would return when she was ready. Her cyan eyes smiled happily watching the gray mare run so fast toward her. Besides Tori Kimi was the only one she really understood. They were inseperable and would always call each other friends.

Rein_Carnation
Like an explosion the gray mare pounded her way towards the unicorn of the fallan star. Her voice alive in whickers as she slowed herself stopping to playfully nudge Glory's flank. "Missed you Kimi has. Play with Kimi Glory!" she reared up kicking her heels. "Find friends we will. Glory come." she whinied throwing her head back in a call unlike anything others had heard. Then with a click of her heels she bounded off into the clearing shouting "It Glory is! Nah Nah!" Her head turned behind her to wink at the unicorn then race onward.

Glory was already behind Kimimela in full stride smiling. She was going to fly once more like she had with Tori in their last romp. Her dreams were coming true. "Just because I don't have wings don't mean anything" she thought deeply to herself. Lowering her head she chased after the darting gray form in front. It was good to have Kimimela back once more.

Celendria contemplates Tue May 23, 2006

Rein_Carnation
A lone figure stood atop the large hill over seeing everything as it mingled into the shadows going about its own routine. Her eyes gentle and serene inhaled the scents around her. It had been weeks since she had simply just wandered out on her own. Her tail flickered sending silver white strands showering towards the ground she stood firmly upon. Orbs of cyan as cool as the season she was from shimmered as a bird flew by. Turning her head slowly her body glistened like ice as she stepped forward. Her thoughts coming to and fro as they mingled memories and emotions from the past.

Rein_Carnation
As she walked on she smiled thoughtfully remembering the times of meetings, romance, and her children. Such wonderful things woven tightly never to be forgotten. She perked her ears her gaze stopping upon the mountains that rose so high above. What did winter whisper so far away she queried from her yearning heart. Did the embrace of coldness still desire her breath as she galloped strongly in the fridgid winds? Did it cry when summer had welcomed the icy mare's presence for the first time? She shed a tear silently missing that which she felt safe within. Though foolish to dream she longed for her element to return to this land once more.

Rein_Carnation
A small creature related as a canine family padded toward the ice mare as she stood in her contemplastions. Its furry head tilting curiously at her with a blink of little black eyes. "Everything okay Celendria?: she whimpered with a wag of her tail. "You miss the winter don't you? Hmm its getting really late. The others are waiting back at the tree clearing." she whimpered with a click of her toenails along the rocks nearby.

The ice mare paused her thoughts momentarily to glance down at her wolf pup who she had adopted last winter. "Yes Amadahy I do. And it is getting late. Come we shall return to the warmth of our home." she breathed outward softly with an almost serene touch to her words. Moving like the wind sweeps through the trees she began her decent back home. Every fiber in her shoulders carried her elegantly under the moon's gaze. Silken strands of white flowing like little streams as they cascaded from her neck and buttocks. Her own forn shining as if carved out of ice itself. Joining her was the small wolf pup that clung to her every movement as she advanced even more to the place they called "home".

Celendria returns to Euphoria Thu May 25, 2006 AM

~Mialee!~XD
User Image

He stood overlooking the valley from the summit of the mountain. The wind swept his mane, blowing it like a flame licking greedily upon logs on a fire. He had gone in search of her in the mountains, thinking maybe she had travelled there to escape the heat of the coming summer, but alas she was nowhere there to be found. He shook his head sadly, the new feathery items rustling as he did so. He had run into a two-legger in the mountains that had given him such items to wear. He pawed at the rock below his feet, his sand-covered coat twitching as muscles itched to be used and moved under his skin. He decided to take another flight to see if he could find her, his love, and their son. Safi seemed quite happy in his herd, but Euphoria loved Celendria. Every day apart from her was like the way the sun misses the flower in the empty depths of winter. He spread his wings and took to the air, closing his eyes and praying he sighted her this time.

Rein_Carnation
Thoughts danced in her mind like a whirlwind confusing her every step that distinguished what was right and what was wrong. Straying from the herd was something she'd never done before this long. Usually it was Amadahy who retrieved her sanity from the wondering contemplations of returning towards the mountains that sang their saddened song. As a breeze playfully swung by her a flowing trail of white lifted gently from her neck like a stream leading towards the source of its existence. Her coat gleamed like ice though night was covering the land quickly. She missed the one whom made her heart sing. Rising her head she watched with a glimmere of hope Euphoria would find her.

~Mialee!~XD
Thoughts of past times with his beloved floooded his mind. Memories of nights such as this they had shared...and then she was gone. He wondered why....He had to know...he had to find her. Why was he left alone by the one he loved and gave his heart too. The wind whispered her name in his ears. Finding nothing, he sighed and made his way towards the village. Maybe other soquili on the village's outskirts knew where she was or had seen her. He slowly descended to the ground below...when he spotted the familiar blue glow...was that her? or was he just imgaining things from missing her so....

Rein_Carnation
Celendria's thoughts captured her tears as she whinied softly letting the wind carry her soul in its safe embrace. A whistle in the wind returned a haunting sound that made her ears swivel so forward her whole form stepped forward. The faint yet definite sound of the wing beats she'd fallen for were so close she could of reached outward. Watching him grow closer to the ground she whinied even louder this time making sure her heart was heard in his magnificent ears. Prancing about she couldn't contain her happiness much more. She reared upon her back legs waving it seemed to his very presence. She wanted to be near him, to simply lean against the warmth that had called her "his". The very one she'd given her insecurity and hope to; her beloved Euphoria.

~Mialee!~XD
As he approached the ground and prepaed to land, he could hear her cries that reached out to him on the fingertips of the wind. As his legs skimmed the earth, he folded his wings tightly beside him and rather then stopping he galloped full speed towards her, hooves thundering from the blows the ground took as it shook. HE smiled as he watched her prance and rear. He could see the emotion in her face and he could not contain his own at such a longed for and well overdue reunion. He raced forward, with wind dried tears on his face, seeing as the wind dried them to his cheeks as fast as they fell. He let loose a loud neigh in greeting and joy.

Rein_Carnation
Be a child that graced that moment her whinies were so filled with happiness. He raced towards her in determination. ~Take me away from what I fear~ her heart cried as she loned for his warmth near hers. Though colored of the colest cyan her body burned with her love for him. She pranced in place whickering louder and louder each time. Her little dance made her appear almost ghostlike in the setting of the night around them. Soon very soon he would be near her again. His powerful muscles carrying his masculine form were simply mezmerizing as he approached. "Euphoria... my love that shines so dear.... welcome home."

~Mialee!~XD
He nickered softly as he slowed to a trot upon reaching her. There qwould be time later to talk and ask questions. For now all he cared about was that she was here...she was real and she was near him. He reached out his head to nuzzle her, touching the soft icy fur. He rubbe dhis head over her neck and nibbled her ears softly in tender attention. What a contrast their bodies made...ice and sand in appearance. And he spoke, soft and deep, still ever so gentle in tone, "At last I have found you. Many days and nights I have spent over the weeks, looking for you. Longing to look upon your beauty and hold you near. "

Rein_Carnation
As the wind brushed by again she felt her heart cry at her own stubborness for neglecting to remember why she was there in the first place. She could only whicker over and over she was sorry as her own muzzle inched forward leaning her more to rub her cheek against his. Her tears were real enough when she repeated those two words. For now she clung like moss to a log pulling herself closer that her flank touched upon his. Her breathing stilling as her reassurance in his return was like a security blanket. "I missed you so my love." she whickered rubbing her neck over his sandy coat. Ice mingling with sand in love and trust. Nothing could make her part this very moment. She longed for this, time and time again from their first meeting. Closing her eyes she rested her neck over his letting it lie there for a bit. Thoughts of what she'd forgotten had tired her entire being. This is where she belonged... not there.

~Mialee!~XD
Euphoria was content to stand in that moment, that embrace, that perfect encounter as the moonlight shone brilliantly upon their glistening bodies, illuminating them in the darkness of night. How he had missed her. He had heard her cries trhat she was sorry, but at the moment nothing else mattered except that she was there with him, close, so close he could feel her breath upon his neck. Oh how he loved that feeling.....it sent shivers down his spine. "And I missed you. I never want to be apart for so long ever again."

Rein_Carnation
She held herself in place not wanting to ever leave that warmth she desired. Though reluctently she lifted her head to nudge him just to look into those beautiful golden orbs finally noticing the feathers blue as her coat. She stretched her neck out to reach the shining creation flickering back and forth. Using her muzzle she playfully nudged it with a simple smile. "You've been traveling I see... very nice." Craning her neck downward she nuzzled him again. "Its true I've been distant my love. I fear the weather that is looming like a wild creature stalking its prey. Spring was quite nice as the flowers and water ran freely. But what of the heat which will surely melt us away, forgetting whom we are in its angry glance?" she whinied with a frown. "You nor I could have such a thing happen. I long for winter to return where the cold is my element." she said with a tilt of her elegant head, cyan orbs looking for reassurance in the fears that made her run so far away.

~Mialee!~XD
[[*schreeches* pile up!!!!!! XD ]]

Euphoria listened to her soft heavenly voice as she spoke. Whisps of chills rang out in her tone to his ears. He lifted his head from her neck as she nudged him, allowing his gaze to meet hers, golden eyes shining in curiousity to what she wanted to say. He smiled as she played with his new decorative items. "Yes in my travels to the mountains in search of you, I met a two-legger. He gave me these. It was as if he knew...they were made to remind me of you, until I found you." He nuzzled her softly. "The heat can not harm you any more then the cold could harm me. It may not be your comfortable element but it surely will not melt you or I. " He nuzzled her reassuringly, placing his cheek to hers and whispering sweet nothigns in her ears. Tenderly he kissed her cheek and just enjoyed having her close to him once more.

Rein_Carnation
She seemed bewidered that his words soothed her simple thoughts. Wasn't she called the ice mare by others? True enough ice melted when the sun gazed angrily at the land below. Tales of wilting and parched throats made her shudder with remorse for even wondering. A smile curved her muzzle as she kissed his back, vevet against velvet.
"Perhaps", she paused to nibble his muzzle, "thoughts tend to trick reality into strange misconceptions. Forgive the one whom has called winter her own mother at times." In a gentle way she nudged him letting her hair rain down over his in white rivers. The one known as Chepi, she is a two-legger. Promise you'll meet her with me someday. Over all two-leggers she is who I call friend."

Saissis and Nathaniel: First Meeting May 26, 2006 AM

((For Yami...))

The night flitted onward like a firefly twinking in the night. The smaller flutter colored in darkened blues felt the need to not show distress that her hock was in severe pain at the moment. No matter how hard she tried to relieve the tension, the biting sensation was gnawing on her. Letting out a frustrated whinny she kept slightly quiet listening to his words as they comforted her in her situation. No longer could she stand on that leg which would make flying impossible. She turned her head slightly trying to look at it without drawing attention from the stallion near her.

Guardian Yami

User Image

The white stallion sat there silently a bit, he didn't quite know who the mare was or what she was doing there, but he wan't alone. The night sky was calming to him, and it was silent. This gave him a sense of peace. Listening to the silence, he heard the mare let out a sound of frustration.

"Are you quite alright back there?"

Rein_Carnation

Saissis perked her ears shaking her head with stubboness. The last thing she needed was to was to cause worriment in a stallion she'd just met. That would be beyond her upbringing and breeding. Its best to keep dilemas to oneself. But oh did it sting like there was no tomorrow in the horizon. She turned her leg more to try and find the source only to notice it was swelled even more. She squeaked and closed her eyes trying to will it away. "Nay I'm ... fine. Just tired is all." she responded with a deep sigh. Her hair hung light and loose as the two single strand chimed when her head slightly turned again. What was taking her familiar so long to find her?

Guardian Yami

He turned his head back a bit towards her.

"Well if you are tired, then it's best to get some sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to rest soon myself. Depending on what your plans are for the morning will determine how much sleep you should get. So if you're tired, then rest is the best thing."

He turned himself back ot the stars, hoping that he would tire soon so he may rest. He knew not the intentions of the mare come morning, nor did he even really know what he would be doign come morning either, but t he idea of rest felt nice.

Rein_Carnation

Saissis wanted to bite him in her torment but was much too refined to do so. She let loose another deep grunt feeling quite helpless that she could do nothing. Sleep. Yes sleep. But how can one get rest feeling their leg ache like a sharp rock cutting you? She lied her head down and shed a few tears feeling quite pathetic not knowing what to do. His breathing was comfort to her yet she wished he was closer right now. Wait a minute... what was she thinking just now? Inviting a strange stallion whom she didn't know to be close to her? Indeed the mare was going mad wishing for such crazy notions.

Guardian Yami

The stallion's eye perked again, then slowly turned his head back again.

"For someone trying to get some rest, you sure are noisy. Are you positive you're okay back then, because that's alot of grunting for sleep, unless... heck, I don't want to know if you're having those kind of dreams. But if you're gonna sleep liek this, you gotta keep it down"

Rein_Carnation

Saissis blinked suddenly at the rude comment that he was implying. "Excuse me? What dreams are you implying I dream of hmm? That wasn't very nice to say to a lady. Hmm I think I'll head over to the other tree where its quieter." she snorted again in her humiliation of his thoughts. The nerve of him saying such things. On her legs she attempted at walk away screaming in horrible pain going to her belly faster than standing on ice. She lied her head on the ground and sobbed without caring that she was heard, "Stupid leg. If you didn't hurt this bad I could fly home. But yet i'm trapped here getting insulted." she snorted again. Lifting her head up she narrowed her eyes with tears, "perhaps its best you return to wence you came... I" she paused to cry once more, "don't need you.. here."

Guardian Yami

His head sprung up, " a bit moody are we eh, but alas it appears I was right and there was something wrong. Stubborn mare, dare to call me rude, whe you couldn't even tell me you were in pain."

His head scanned her up and down as he jogged over to her," Where's it hurt exactly?"

Rein_Carnation

Her tears glistened on her dark blue shaded fur. "I told you I don't need you around here with me... I'm fine." Suddenly another twinge set in making her shrill another tone high pitched enough to break his ear drums. "I'm not stubborn, I'm in pain and I ... " she gritted her teeth looking at him pitifully. Her eyes pleaded for his help when her own voice pushed him away. "Its my right hock... its swollen and hurts horribly. I can't stand nor put weight on it at all."

Guardian Yami

The stallion chuckled quietly, "Sound stubborn enough to me, stay still and I'll try to check on it."

He looked down to her right hock, finding a small splinter stuck in it. He leaned forward, wrapping his teeth around the splinter. Grabbing ahold of it, he pulled backwards, yanking the splinter out.

"There, problem solved, hopefully, it'll be better for you, so you can find a way to walk away from a rude stallion like myself, since you don't need to be anywhere near me. Just thought I'd help"

Rein_Carnation

The pain was subsiding quicker than it had began. Though a little tender she wasn't feeling that looming pinch that made her cringe and feel helpless. There was no way she could stand though which made her heart leap with fear. If he up and lept for the skies she'd feel so vulnerable and guilty her own ignorance got her in that situation. Sighing heavily she tried to once again pull weight on her leg only to grit her teeth and frown.
"I'm sorry. Please don't leave. I was just in pain and angry you would think such things. Thank you." She tilted her head with a smile watching his aubrun mane and tail play in the breeze that passed them. "Umm if I may ask to be so bold will you please lie next too me so I feel safe here. Its growing late and I'm not fond of the dark."

*Need Takoda's banner*

Takoda, Kitara, and the dung beetle May 27, 2006 AM

Shariea
A soft whinny broke the silence of the night as out of the brush trotted a slender filly. The little female nickered and reared back, her front hooves pawing at the sky. Giggling all the while, her one white hoof touched the soil before she took off into the night. Her snow white tresses fell in soft curls against her chocolate pelt.

"Taaaakoooooda!" she called out in a sing song voice, looking for her brother. How she loved to taught and play with him. He was much fun, and she did love him, but in that way that anoying siblings loved one another.

Rein_Carnation
Stepping high upon wings of a waltz he practiced like there was no tomorrow. He wanted to grow strong and wise living the legacy of his handsome father. His heart told him to "dance" and be proud with each step. Stepping outward with each foreleg he balanced himself with his head held high. Chocolate with vanilla swirled within his gleaming coat as the faint light shined off of him. A puff of a tail flicking back and forth as he pranced along. So proud his family would be...

He paused hearing a familiar sound making his steps solid as they stayed upon the ground. It was his annoying sister Kitara whom he loved very much. But well brothers had to because mothers and fathers said so. He'd wait for her to find him she was very good at it.

Shariea
Kitara saw the dancing shape in the moonlight and knew it to be none other than her silly brother. Prancing around like that and looking silly was certainly good for a laugh. Boys where very weird. In mimicry the little filly held her head high, her steps high and deliberate as she pranced towards her brother. "Takooooda." she said again in her sing song voice, her white hoove stomping into the ground as she made her final pracing motion. "what are you doing?" she asked, though it was quite clear.

Rein_Carnation
Takoda chuckled standing there with his legs outstretched balancing himself. He smirked and snorted at her with a playful motion. "What i always do silly sister. Have you forgotten already?" he teased whinnying at her. Turning his chocolate neck a little he watched her with a curious eye. "Don't tell me you're getting that old already. Hmm next it will be like those two leggers using those bits of wood to hold themselves up." he snorted prancing around her. "And what of you Kitarrrrrrra?" he replied in a mocking high pitched voice, "What trouble are you up to?"

Shariea
The filly laughed and shook her head. "No, its just so hard to tell if your dancing or having a spazim, so I like to double check." she said, a smirk pulling at the corners of her lips. "and me? What trouble do you mean... I dont cause trouble.." she said, fluttering her lashes in an attempt to look cute and innocent. "Besides.." she went on, and paused, jumping back. "Beetle!" she screamed! There was in fact no beetle, this was just a joke on her brothers be half, and boy did she hope she could at lest get a start out of him.

Rein_Carnation
Takoda looked at her with a lazy eye in a mocking way. She was trouble as mischief could be. Never to be fully trusted as a foal for some reason or another. She definitely was up to something. He watched her carefully springing to his feet hearing the word "beetle" being near his feet. Squealing like a hyper child he galloped away snorting. He hated those nasty things daring them to even try and crawl over his hoof again. The colt tossed his head arching into the air pawing the air with his slender legs. Then he realized she was fooling him once more.

Shariea
Kitara burst out laughing as he threw his head back and pranced his hoves over the ground at the meer mention of the incect. "Whats tha matter 'Koda?" she asked him, sliding to his side and nosing him gently. Laughing she tilted her head and smirked. "You scared of a lil' itty bitty beetle?" she asked, mockingly.

Rein_Carnation
Just the rememberance of that nasty thing rolling up unmentionables over his hoof was enough to make him snort in disgust. Now Kitara had his dislike of them into her little games and pranks. "They are gross. Nasty if you ask me. Lets see one roll over your hoof sometime with your..." he paused chuckling so hard he lowered his head. "Well you get the picture anyway. Who knows they might bite or worse. Can't be trusted." he shook his head flicking his tail. "You just wait Kitaarrra.. they'll get you when you sleep. Mwahahaha." he chortled winking at her. "Now who is afraid of a nasty little rolling beetle huh? he nudged her and pranced away still laughing.

Shariea
The filly snorted and shook her head. "So...its the idea of something...eatting what you've already eatten that really bothers you." she asked, nicking slyly filing that away for later. "Beetles dont bother me brother... Never had done anything to me. Maybe they just dont like you." she said, following after him nudging his hind quarters as she pranced by. "Yeah... they probably dont like you.. cause you run away from them. The bettle rolling over your hoof probably was offering to share his dinner with you!" she added, snickering.

Rein_Carnation

Takoda scrunched his face up into the most hilarious expresion thinking of eating his own dung. Tongue loling out he gagged and tossed his head. "That is just sick sister. There is no way I'd ever resort to eating what comes out the other end. I think I've lost my appetite." he gagged again lifting his white socked legs mingling with chocolate dripped around them. Prancing about he danced around her with his tongue hanging out snorting his dislike of her comment. Just the thought of a bettle touching that was not what he called a meal. Tossing his head he tried thinking of other things to better his thoughts .

The ice mare in her moment of grazing rose her head sharply upon hearing the approaching visitor. Standing to direct attention she listened carefully of the task at hand. Nodding in earnest she pinpointed what she needed to do. With a bow of her finely built profile she accepted her terms. "Indeed I shall help all I can. Thank you for coming to me with such a task. I shall not fail you have faith till I do contact you", she smiled softly and nodded once more.
Turning back to her grazing she began her contemplation on all areas that had the most delicious apples. Indeed she'd pull through with ease as long as she kept her mind and spirit to guide her.

Her task would now begin.

Amadahy raised her small head watching the mare of cerelean ice talk with the other that had arrived. A glistening statue with cascading water for a mane and tail flowed softly off her shoulders into silken strands. The talk of a task was clear in which the pup knre she could help as well. Stifiling another yawn she closed her eyes falling back to sleep once more.

Celendria's Apple Quest Mon May 29, 2006 PM

Rein_Carnation
Walking on the vibrant emerald carpet that swept under her feet the ice mare treaded along thinking of all the different trees. "Apples..Apples...I must find the juicyest ones about this land." she nodded to herself quietly. Looking around her she finely noticed how close the village was immediately thinking about a certain two legger that caught her heart and attention one fateful night. She blew her breath outward watching the village from afar. Perhaps the girl would come since she had wandered this far.

Shariea

Chepi rubbed her eyes once more and slipped away from the village, she felt like a walk after her blissful nap. She watched her feet as she walked, tearing through the tall grasses, she heard and soft noise and looked up. Like a dream there was the ice mare whom she had met during that faitfull winter night. "Oh my! Hello there... I havent seen much of you lately.." she said, moving towards the mare.

Rein_Carnation
The soft soothing words still unknown to her were like a mother's touch in protection to the mare. Gleaming ice standing in the deep green. Though reserved she couldn't help but whicker her own greeting promptly. The two-legger was a welcoming dream that was remembered in her memories. That night in the deep snow bonded them closely than the ice mare had ever been before. Only tied to the winter whom Celendria called "Mother". Playfully she butted Chepi with her velvet muzzle noticing an apple tree not too far from where they stood. The girl was a sign of luck the mare agreed. Grunting she walked over toward the tree plucking the largest apple she could find.

Apple 1

Shariea
Chepi laughed as the mare playfully head butted her before walking off to the apple tree. She giggled and followed after her, reaching up and plucking an apple for herself. She smiled and ran her fingers over celendra's velevet soft blue fur as she bit into her apple. "Last I saw you, You had a healthy new foal. Where about has he gone?" she asked the mare with a pat, knowing full well she couldnt answer. "I'm glad you came to see me, at lest I hope thats why and not just for the spring apples." she added with a laugh.

Rein_Carnation

((gomen parents have company. Sorry bout the wait))

The mare grabbed the apple not eating it as she clasped it in her teeth. A few more trees lied near their current place. Perhaps she could finish her quest with Chepi to oversee things for her. Grabbing a second apple she placed it on the ground with the first.

Apple 2

Whickering she listened to Chepi's words strange but reassuring. She wondered if Chepi had learned her name from the other natives. Ice mare they called her, from the mother bearing the season winter. She tossed her head letting white silk fall over her shoulders playfully. A lot of apples to be found and plenty of time to do so.

Shariea
The maid bit into her apple as she watched the mare with a raised eyebrow, she chuckled a bit and shook her head. "whatever are you doing?" she asked in wonderment as the icy mare began to gather the apples before her. She shook her head, she'd never understand the workings of horses. With a mouthful of apple she walked beside the mare to the other apple trees, watching as she gathered freash apples before her. Chepi gathered her skirts together and picked up the apples gathering them together so that the mare wouldnt have to make many trips.

Rein_Carnation
The ice mare went from tree to tree searching for what sdhe needed. Even the soquili knew by sight what was tasty and what wasn't. The redest most delectable ones were the key to an excellent find. She reached for another finding an even bigger one. That was two more now which led her in the right direction. Tossing her head she dropped it with the others noticing Chepi gathering them for her. Well atleast this way they wouldn't get lost. The mare whickered happily in her own gratitude getting another apple as she rolled it towards Chepi's feet for her.

Apple 3

Apple 4

Shariea
Chepi watched the mare as she noticed the high quality apples she was picking, the juicy ones well riped by the sun. She smiled and knelt to pick up the apple by her feet, plopping it into her skirt with the others. Inwardly she couldnt help but wonder why the mare would need so many apples, perhaps they where for her son? She shruged it off and gave the mare a pat as she whickered her thanks. "No worries, Im glad to help. "

Rein_Carnation

The mare picked a few more rolling them toward Chepi's feet. Yes it was intentional as it was the greeting of the ice mare and the indian maiden. From the first winter apple that touched upon Celendria's hock it had become almost routine in doing this. She was highly amused tossing another at the girl's feet. Picking even more she rolled them one by one with a smile it seemed.

Chepi chuckled as she gathered the apples in her skirts, counting them aloud as she piled them. "10..no wonder my skirts are growing so heavy." she said with a surprised look. And still the mare plucked apples from the trees and ploped them at her feet. She shook her head and smiled, continueing to gather them for the mare.

Rein_Carnation
Celendria gathered as much as she could till she noticed Chepi had them all in a pile. Nodding her head she counted them one by one hoping she wasn't missing any. When content she stood back and whinied in joy. She could now show that she could accomplish tasks and do them on time correctly. A rainbow scattered amongst the ground of reds, yellows, greens, and a mixture on some. She turned and looked at the girl with a tilt of her head. Why hadn't she eaten the one Celendria rolled to her? Picking another she rolled it toward Chepi in appreciation. Now to locate Halona and give her the apples. The mare grabbed the piece of skin with the apples in her mouth then trotting off with her quest complete. Turning quickly to see if Chepi would follow her.

Shariea
Chepi picked up the apple with a smile and nodded her head. "Thank you." she said with a small giggle. She bit into the apple as the mare statrted to drag away her bounty. Curious the human followed the mare, wanting to know the true reason behind her search.

soquili~quests
Halona looked out and seen the soquili Celendria approaching with her apples. She ran to greet her and patted her nose, "Thank you!" she replied gratefully. "Here take this you might want to use it sometime." and with that she gave the piece of buckskin to her and was gone.
