Alysa looks down at Hao and squirmed about some more..she blinks.

Kioku smiled at Tuari before glancing at Serenity. "You have to let her explore, you know... this island is our home, and we're part of it, as it's part of us."
If he could've spoken or fully understood, Hao would've agreed with Kioku... already he could feel the spirit of the earth beneath his hands, could hear the voices in the winds...

Alysa..smiles..finally..being able to crawl about..she starts to crawl around exploring..she crawled over to the lake and looked in..her reflection was on the surface

Those were spirits? Tuari had thought he was just hearing things. He stopped chewing and looked around as if he were listening. Then he squirmed and put him down, but was surprised when he went away from the other two and sat down, still listening.

Hao paused, dark eyes glancing between the pair, before smiling slightly. The spirits were everywhere-- but that's why the Shaman were around. To watch the spirits...
Kioku smiled slightly. She'd taught Hao how to listen for the spirits, and she was glad to see others taking after him.

Alysa hearing what kioku said..thought about it for a moment and continues to crawl about..she turned and crawled back over to where the others were and sat down on the ground..and decided to listen to the spirits around them

Tuari titled his head back to look up and ended up falling backwards. He squealed happily and waved his arms and legs in the air. But then he went limp, trying to understand what those spirit things were saying.

Kioku laughed quietly as she listened to the spirits as well, her eyes still on Serenity and Ed though. There was much still to learn about the island, and for these non-shaman... it might be difficult. She hoped she could make it easier on them.

Alysa..stops what she was doing and sat on the earth..trying to figure out what they were saying..she tilted her head to the side and then glanced up at the sky.

Ed watched her baby, very confused about what was going on with him, but smiling nonetheless. She looked back to Kioku, wondering whether there was anything she, Ed, wanted to ask.
Tuari was still listening, and whatever he was hearing was making him squeal happily and clap.

Kioku smiled slightly. "He can hear them," she whispered, reaching to gently tousle Tuari's hair. "Just like we all can. Maybe one day he'll find one that sings to him more sweetly than any other..."
Unbeknownst to Kioku, her charge, Hao, had already found a spirit whose voice came to him at all times, whose presence he could feel more strongly than anyone else's...
