yeah see my last (incredibly long) post about best representations (includes creature, artifact, enchantment, sorcery, instant, in addition to best of colors)

please look and comment on my choices. But don't quote that post. it's too long for that 3nodding
please someone tell me about my ideas on best of..

@ kirara. why did you choose akroma? she doesn't really describe white. she's a behemoth titan. not what wite is all about

white has alot of cards that equalize, like wrath, final judgement, and mageta, think of akroma as whites nastiest big creature, and she equalizes the playing field for the white weenies, plus i really dont have a good argument for her to be mentioned as white sweatdrop
thats because she is an annomily. even the other gigantic cards in white are nowhere near that massive. and most of them are more defensive if they re that massivly mutated. i mean look at Jareth or like you said Mageta. not really meant for continuous attacking. (at least Jareth isn't) Akroma is the biggest mistake that Wizards ever printed in white. (and you know damn well that i don't count kickers and invasion block cards. i mean pure color cards without kickers)
meh, i suppose your right.... but i do think congregate describes white good

No. A card that best represents it's color is something that shows, in the best and most simple way, what a color can do.

For instance, Balance for white. White's forte's are powerful sorceries, big global effects, board re-setters, and great cards with a low cost. Balance has all of these things compacted into a 1W sorcery, and if you've ever played against a Balance, you'll know why it is a great embodiment of White.

v.v I haven't been able to check into new series in awhile... as for choosing power instead of elves... LOOK AT THE POINTY EARS! *pops the helm off for a sec to show them before putting it back on* Besides, I've seen an elf take down alot of other creatures. As for mentioning Akroma... it was the first white angel I could think of... though if I could find my white deck I coulda named a different card that I think is much better.

It's true..... Elf decks are pretty fluid and pretty annoying to fight against too. Timberwatch Elf and Wellwisher were major nuisances to deal with back in Onslaught block.

And Akroma? Out of all the angels you thought of, you picked Akroma? You know, you could've picked Serra Angel or Pristine Angel. They represent white's qwirks pretty well...

Counterspell, the pretty obvious forte for blue. Even before Counterspell was shipped out of the core sets, I thought it was an overpowered pain to deal with. =P

Disenchant's ability doesn't belong to white anymore. Green's 'Naturalize' covers that now.......

yeah, but still, im not one of these people who know all those Balance spells and stuff like that.
Besides, green still pumps up your creatures.

Blue: Opt or Omen. Topdeck manipulation is the best thing about blue IMHO.

Red: Rorix Bladewing. He's hasty, he hurts the opponent and he's a dragon. 'Nuff said.

Green: Verdant Force. Big, tramples and makes tokens. The only things it doesn't do is gain you life or make sushi.

Black: I'l have to go with necro on this one. It is the personification of black: sacrifice for unbeatable advantage.

White: Wrath of God. Staple white card since forever.

why? white green, red, blue, and black for the most part hate cards that cost more then 6. whites most commonly used creature strategy is weenie, green balances power with cost, red is all about speed and hurting your opponent at any cost (including hurting ones self), blakc loves those low cost-efficient creatures and everything, the myogens (sp?), may have abilities that match their color but not their cost or power/toughness (excluding the green one cause we all know that green makes the best timmy color)

i can say right now that the myogens don't balance anything out. they are at the high end of the spectrum when it comes to cost. and the low end of the spectrum when it comes to use. in any color, do you want to have a card in your deck that costs more then 6? i mean most decks have a nice center of cards that cost about 3-5. and the myogens cost 10! actually all of the myogens are just amplified off of other creatures. take the red one (infinite rage) i'ts really just a big goblin gardener, they both destroy land, but the gardener costs less, and only destroys 1 land. while the myogen destroys all land, but only if you played it from your hand, and only after you remove the counter from it. i just don't see the glory of the myogens, a lot like the bringers actually, (this probably offends some people but hey they also were huge to play unless you could afford WUBRG)
