"Mmhmm..." Haku murmurs distractedly, as she catches sight of the shuriken finishing its journey through her hand, the blood now dripping steadily to the ground. Her lips twitch into something vaguely cheerful or was it wistful?
"Oh, look... The little gems, how they sparkle... They killed us, you know; every last one, until we hid the treasures, until only the surface did as bid, and not the insides.. but the insides are always the prettiest part..."

"Eh, sure. But after the exams, ya? I'm not goin' in there while the brat that took out Shisen and Baku's little groupie are there. For one thing, I don't want to get myself killed and for another, I may not have seen him in person, but any kid that Baku thinks has potential is clearly psychotic."

Haku starts laughing hysterically, even as her hand scabs over and rust-colored flakes flurry to the ground.
"Yes, yes, not interrupting their little play-dates, even though the dolls are to get new clothes..." She flexes her hand, and, satisfied that it's not dripping/gushing all over the place, rummages in one of her many pockets for some paper-wrapped dango, which she promptly eats. She frowns, glares at the empty stick that remains, and goes off in the direction of food.
