It is likely that the random events have either been unable to keep up with the rapidly expanding genre of Gaia, or have been retired.

They glitched up when Daily Chance came around. It still works if you go through the listing of event links. They just won't pop up on their own.
As for pink links, the entire community of Gaia is out of luck. They won't pop up no matter what. Although, I have heard rumors of it having been replaced by a gold link. It acts the same way, and some Gaians have reported seeing them. They don't get any more gold, but it is a change.

Sorry, I was just a little emo back there. I just have his thing against saying things about "hope", so I tend to include something a little sarcastic.
It will do you some good, though. (I hope) rofl ^ See? There I go again...

I'm emo! The passive voice is, too. "The words were posted by Yoder." is so much colder than 'Yoder posted the words.".

Then combine both. "The words were hopefully posted by Yoder..."

Grr... Stupid Gaia... *kicks it, then flails in an attmtp to save several guilds from falling off the cliff of semi-literacy into the vast ocean of retarded internet languages like txt, l33t, and chat*

Yeah, they were dead guilds anyway. *waves goodbye as they sink* So many 20,000 gold incriments wasted... If only you could sell it back to Gaia itself and get your money back (or at least a portion like 1/10).

That would be a novel concept. I guess that it would just be a lot of extra programming to do it like that...though I don't know, I'm not a computer programmer.
