Vincent finnished burring the elder prince, he never got to know his name so he sent up a sighlent word for the other, promising to prove him wrong, to keep Aya safe and prove that not all of his assumptions about him were right.
That even if he was of the fire clan he could be compasionate and kind.
He stayed at the grave for a long while, aprishiating the prince.
Befor he walked up to Aya and took his hand softly in his, hodling it gently.
"Do you want to say goodbye to him?" He asked softly.
"I'm sure he would like to have youe blessings on his grave." he said softly.
"I'll go with you if you want."

Aya-kawa shook shi ehad and walked over to the grave sitting down on to as he looed at the cross there tears in iseyes.
'... Good bye Tuka-san, I'll miss you.. you.. you were always there for me.. alway the one to tuck me in and hold me went i cried" he traced a heart in the dirt.
".. I'll miss you.. I hope you find mother and father..." he gently kissed the cross and stood walking over to the other taking his hea.d
"..I'm ready to go now..."

Vincent smiled at the cross and then muthed softly.
'I'll avenge you' and he flet that eh had lost something, even though he had not known the prince that long a piece of him had goen with the other.
He had admired him, his spirit and his will. Both strong and bright.
He whished he hadn't let him go that stormy night, into sephiroths grasp.
He regretted that.
His red eyes then flickered to Aya and he picked the other up, pulling the other into his arms and feeling that strange wound hurt again, those strange wet thigns leaking out of his eyes and onto Aya's forehead.
"he will be missed." He said softly and then turned away from the small clearing, away from him.
Away from that life and onto a new one.
Aya in his arms.

(lets skip a year ok? if you don't want to just tell me )
"VINCE!" Aya said loudly hanging off the side of the bunck bed, he had the top. Tey had stopped at a small in for the night.
Aya's hir longer now, he was 12 a year had past sense he was taken from hsi beloved water world.
"Where are we going tomorrow?" he asked watching the upside down man that looked this way from how he was.
"... I want to kno- WHOW" He suddenly fell off rthe side of the bed on to the ground.
"OUCH!" he whimpered his arch scraped now as he sniffed

Vincent, who had been cooking at the moument, put down his kife and carrot to tend to the others needs.
The other had seen what was going to happen but only watched it unfold, the child had to learn not to do stupid things like that, what better lesson then a self taught one?
Vincent had brought the boy back to his home in the forest, by a great river and thegreat mountain ranges.
Here is where Vincent had learned to fly and control himself.
here is where vincent grew up.
he had assumed a variaty of roles for the child, a garudien, a parent, a mother a father, a friend.
he was everything to Vincent and so Vincent was everything to him.
The older man walked up to Aya and softly put a cool cloth on the others scratches, his red eyes sighlently looking at Aya for a few seconds, sighlently telling him that was a stupid thing to do.
"if you keep hurting yourself we aren't going to go anywhere." He said with a tease, putting Aya on his bottom bunk and looking at the scrape.

Aya-kawa whimpered as the other put the wet cloth on his wound he swallowed hard as he leane dhis face forward and rested it on the others shoulde.r
'i'm sorry I shouldn't have done that" he said swallowing hard as he sighed heavy then.
"... What are we doing tomorrow?" he asked watching the other with his now cglossy blue eyes. He sighed.
'i'm sorry I'll be more carful next time"

Vincent smiled and reached over for the bandages, pulling them towards him and quickly putting on on Aya's knee befor he rubbed his leg softly.
Everything all better now.
He patted Aya's back and chuckled, the others always was so close.
"Just be carefull with yourself..." He said softly, rubbing the others back as he still had tear filled eyes and Vincent hated to see that.
Vincent was a quiet man and sat himself down on the bed next to Aya and sighed, putting his arm around the boys shoulders.
"We are going to get water and check the traps tomorrow, or we shall have nothing to eat for dinner."

Aya blushed softly as the other came and sat beside him. Listing to the mans words he sighed and nodded his head it was strang having to hunt for food, He had been so use to having everything given to him in his life.
But now he was with Vince and couldn't have everything he wanted.
Aya-kawa swallowed as he cuddled into the others shoulder.
"....Vince?.. cause i lay with you tonight? I had a bad cream again and i don't want to lay alone" he asked cuddling into the mans neck

Vincent was pussled with the request but abliged to it none the less. he squeesed the others shoulders and smiled down at him.
"You want to talk about your dream?" He asked after agreeing to sleep with the boy tonight.
"Or is it the same one?" He asked. Aya had a reoccuring nightmare that was of his past.
Vincent didn't want to hear about it AGAIN because he had heard it so many times.
He was normaly a patchient man but for a year he had heard about this dream and still didn't know what it ment.
Besides that Aya was traumitized by the events of his peoples collapse.

"It was the same dream as long before" he sighed pulling his slender legs to his chest as he leane dinto the others arm as he tightened around his shoulders.
"I see faces! so many faces!" he whimpered and sighed heavily. But smiled against the other.
"... What's for super tonight?" he askd with a soft smiled

"Stew." Vincent siad simply, and as if that reminded him he got up and whent back to stir the small pot of stwe he was making.
it was leftovers from lastnights catch and some vegitables with a base.
He smiled, he could cook well enough, not supper good but well enough.
He got out two bowls and spoons, looking at Aya as if saying.
"Hungry?"

Aya-kawa smiled softly and nodded hsi head smelling the sweet sent in the air.
"mmmm, Smells grate" he said licking his lips a little.
"I'm starves" he said standing up and walked over to the other taking the now full bolw and sat at the table eating.
"...mmmm always my fav out of al your cookings" In truth it really was, the hravy had the right amoutnt of salt to it. And the meat was so tender and the vegitibuls sweet in a way

Vincent smiled as he poundered what it would be like to sleep with the other.
Vincent normaly didn't like doing anythign with anyone after he slept because he hated the way his body was mutated under his clothing.
under that layer of leather and black cloth was scars and ripples of flesh that weren't normal.
he never knew what they were from but was never proud of them.
why he wore gloves? his fingers were talloned and not of normal color.
He woundered if he should jsut sleep in his clothing instead of his T-shirt and pants.
That seemed irrational though. He ate in sighlence, offering the other bread with butter with his stew.

Aya-kawa smield soflty at the other and took the breaddipping it inside his stew and eat from it gently once he was done he leaned back in his chair.
"mmm that was good" he smield soflty.
'Thank you"
He got up from the chair and table and moved to the sink and put the empty bolw init be for doing to the dresser and pulled out a clean white night shirt.
he undressed blushing hard as he hopped up onto the others bed laying down cuddling under the covers.
".. you ganna come to bed?"

Vincent finnished just after the other did and was putting away there dishes after cleaning them when the other asked him if he wanted to come to bed.
He blinked a couple times, that was an odd question. He put the bowls and spoons away, walking over to the dresser, they kept there clothing together, hardly enough room for two dressers.
"Hm." He said and nodded, deciding to allow himself the pleasure of sleeping in his T even though Aya was to sleep with him tonight.
He stripped his many layers of clothing and when he got down to his Shirt he glanced back at Aya befor he sighed and pulled it off his back.
his shoulders were mutated, baring wings they had to be considerably stronger and heavier set, not to mention to tearing of his skin every time the wings tore away from his body.
The scars traced from his shoulder blades over his ribs and onto his chest, where his wings lay dormant, you could see the feint outline of them in his well muscles body.
They twitched under his skin.
Vincent quickly pulled his T-Shirt on and pulled his boots, socks and belt off.
Remaining in his boxers he walked over to the bed and sat down, turning the lantern down he sighed and pulled off his headband, quickly covering his forehead and it's mutations under his long dark hair.
