My son just kind of picked up on my fandom and developed his own. He started pretty much with me, my aunt introduced me to DBZ and I watched it with him (he still loves Saiyaman xd ). But I'd say his favorite thus far is Trigun. He's a bit fanatical about that show. I'm going to cosplay him as Vash for our first convention. I can't wait to see him all dressed up. 4laugh

Gindion Went to Neko-con this weekend!! Will be posting pics of me in my costume. I went as the original Final Fantasy White Mage. Rodney got a pic of me, with someone dressed as a Black Mage. w00t! Woot. Final Fantasy I cosplay. My family did the mages for Otakon 2002/Animazement 2003. smile Do you have pics of your White Mage costume?

I can't wait to see him all dressed up. 4laugh I dressed my oldest up as Vash this year at Animazement. He loved his costume. He's still talking about it... 5 months later.

My son has grown up on anime/video games and cons. Since it's always been part of my life, of course it has also been part of his. I started teaching him to play video and computer games when he was 2. He went to his first con when he was 6 (Cosplayed Konohamaru from Naruto). He's been exposed to anime since he was a newborn. He used to adore minimoni when he was a tot. He had their CDs and he'd dance around to their songs. So cute.

I was hoping my baby was gonna be born before MANIFEST (Melbourne Anime festival) so i could take her as a moogle or something... but doesn't look likley. I still want to go though, if my BF lets me. This is the costume I'm working on, it's Freya from Chobits :  I hope it still fits me by the Con.

I went to Akon in 05 in Dallas, and I want to go this year 07... I think my little one will be old enough, but since Akon allows a variety in cosplay I believe We are going to dress him up like Gir from Invader Zim... I'm trying to get my husband to do Zim, and I want to either be Tak, or Gaz... but I need me a Dib too... I want to have a skit. Because Akon conisders Invade Zim anime... its not, but oh well.

OMG! The pictures of the kids in the anime costumes are just too adorable!!!
It's my dream to one day go to a con and cosplay. I'm not sure of who I'd want to dress up as. Lucky for me, my mom is an awsome sewer!

I watched Kimba and had a crush on speedracer as a kid. I got back into anime when my daughter was young with Sailormoon and pokemon. Now my 13 yr. old daughter (moonrabitt) and I enjoy Inuyasha and Fruits baskets among many others. This past summer we went to Otakon for the first time. It is great to bond with her through Anime and Gaia.

well after he's born i was going to let him watch Dragonball Z and Pokemon/Digimon/Monster Rancher.
Mostly because i loved those cartoons as a kid ^_^
