Oh, I ADORE Harry Potter. We mustn't bring him into the Pagan/Wicca discussion.

*Sigh* Intolerance will not be tolerated.

xd But I love Harry Potter!

So to anybody who knows, what do wiccas/pagans believe about creation?

I've heard many, many Wiccan and Pagan creation stories. My favorite goes something like this. If you don't feel you want to hear one sexual reference, do not highlight the 'invisible' words in white.

There was nothing but Love, and then She (Love, the goddess, whatever one wishes to call the deity) wanted to share it. But with whom? So she made love to herself and produced another. The two of them loved one another, and so they in turn produced the universe, love tokens of jewellery to adorn one another with beauty, which they wore proudly. But still their love was too great for only themselves to keep, and so they created the living beings in order that their children should help them to express their love for one another. And so it continues, with love creating more love.

Entirely depends on the type of Pagan you're talking about. Ask about a certain type, and I should be able to tell ya.

What sorts of types are there? I don't really know anything about pagans/wiccas, but so far I've found it fascinating to learn about. ^^;;

Your first mistake is in the pagan/wiccan thing. Wiccans are a type of pagan, yes, but only one kind. Sort of like Judaism is a monotheistic religion, but not the only one.

There's a whole bunch of Pagan religions out there. Wicca, Asatru, the following of the Celtic Gods, the Egyptian gods, Greek, Roman, nature spirit, etc etc etc.

Really, any of the old religions of Europe, North Africa, and the western part of Asia (Middle East) that weren't monotheistic would be Pagan religions. I don't know if I'd include similar types of Eastern religion though. So, yeah, if you've got a question about any of the types of Paganism, I'm happy to answer. I'll admit now though that Wicca is probably the one I'm least familiar with.

I love creation myths, they're so ridiculous. We read one in mythology this year about the disembolment of a giant and it was pretty disgusting.

I never wanted to wear pearls again...
