Sparky felt himself relaxing to the music the other created, humming softly to it.
Akito reaches up and adjusts his glasses, then flaps his wings, trying to make music of his own with them.

Ken chuckles, then nods a bit. "Yes, very true. You're as much a parent to Firefly there as I've been to Riku, except you didn't give birth to him."
Riku snores lightly, curling up against Ken's chest.

Valin raises an eyebrow, then nods. "Alright. I've always wanted to try your cooking anyway." He said with a grin.

Aura glances over his shoulder at Rick, then shakes his head. "Why is it so hard for you to believe? Because you threatened to kill me a couple times?Whoop-de-flippin do. I've been threatened before, I just never told you about the b*****d." He motions to a nearly invisible scar on his neck, just above where the shoulder joined his body. By then, though, Rick had gone into the other room. "Why do I even try..." He mutters to himself, heading over to the pool and sitting down on it's edge, feet turning back into his tail as he stuck them in the water.

Connor gasped and looks at him with a frown. "Not what I heard... Making love is only for mates.. Feeling good is the same thing.. Maru.. please?" He does a sad kitty eyes as he really didn't want to do anything he regret especially maybe getting pregnant early in life without finding a mate. He turns away as he frowns, thinking he got him upset at him. "I am sorry if I made you mad."

Maru sighed softly, laying down ontop of the other. "... It's fine.. I wasn't planning on going the full monty with you anyway... You seemed too innocent for that anyway." He moved off of Connor, laying next to him. He wasn't mad, more saddened that he had upset his freind.

Johann smiled gently, before taking the boxes that was in his ears, and clipped them to Akito's wings. He could create the sounds it made without them in his ears.

No he didn't, though he had to think where he got the blasted rabbit. He shrugged it off, it didn't matter anyway. "Kind've an adopption..."

Sparkey smiled. "You deserve to be looked after as well. Though.. I should Probably move into your house or something..."

That wasn't why he couldn't believe it. He couldn't believe it because it always went the same way. People would be kind to him, do extreame things for him, and it turn out that it wasn't at all for love, but for something else from him. People often had the idea in their head that he was a pheonix, and would often try to win his favour to get ahold of a pheonix feather, something he didn't have to begin with, so they'd just get mad when he couldn't give them one, Even if they claimed to love him.
He was just too used to people using him. Tis one of the reasons why he even killed mercilessly in the first place.
Getting up he got a knife from the drawer, toying with it before cutting into the backs of his fingers, trying to keep himself from blacking out and going nuts.

Akito flicks his wings experimentally, staring at the boxes curiously.

Ken nods. "Adopting is a very admirable thing to do as well, otherwise he might not even be alive still."

Valin curls up on Sparkey's lap, then nods. "Sure, I've got more than enough room at my place for you to live with me." He said, smiling.

Aura narrows his eyes. He wasn't going to roll over and give up just because of one bit of attitude, that was for sure. He pulls his tail out of the water, forming it back into legs, then walks into the kitchen. The sight that met his eyes made him freeze in his tracks, but only for an instant before he was running over and trying to take the knife away from Rick. "What the hell are you doing, Rick? You can die now, remember?" He said, grabbing a handful of towels and trying to stop the bleeding, lightly slapping Rick's face with one hand to keep him conscious. "LOOK at me, Rick."

The boxes made a soft soundin time with the wings they were attached to. "You can borrow those for a while, I'm sure it'll help your mom figure out where you are."

Vincent nodded, breifly wondering what a life without Firefly would be like... rather boring >>; He chuckled softly. "I suppse yoo are corvect." He said with a smile.

"Yay! I'm sure Kay wont mind if i helped look after you and the kids." He said with a smile, petting Valin's head.

Rick made a low growl when he was slapped, snapping out've it. "Shut up" He snarled at the other, not letting the knife go. "Maybe I want to die. Maybe then I wont end up cold and alone again. I kill others so people wont even try to pretend to love me. I'm fed up of being lied to!" He started trembling as he yelled. He dropped the knife and moved to get up, hitting the fridge behind him and wincing. "People are all the same, they always want something I can't give." He hissed, holding his blood soaked hands as tears flooded his cheeks.

Akito looks back up at Johann, then giggles. "Anksyou!" He said, tail wriggling.

Ken chuckles again, then nods. "Yeah. Althought something that might help me out would be a pet to keep Riku company when I have to work instead of always depending on others to watch over him. I'll have to look into that."

Valin murrs, rubbing his face against Sparkey's hand. "We could ask her together?"

Aura took one step back at Rick's outburst, then stepped as close as he could to the skunk, hugging him, or at least, trying to. "I don't care about what you can or can't give. When you aren't trying to be scary, you can be pretty funny and nice. That's what attracted me to you. I already know how you were cursed. You told me that when I kept pestering you about it, so I'm not expecting anything special, that you couldn't give. I WON'T leave you, and I've never lied to you. Lieing isn't in me, because it is a disgusting habit. I know you probably still don't believe me... If you want me to go and let you die, tell me... I'll be heartbroken the rest of my life, but I would do it because you would have asked it of me. In case you didn't know, Rick, you are the ONLY person I ever talk to anymore. That should count for something, shouldn't it? How many others risked their lives for you, with no thought of gain for themselves? I was going to let that guy punch a hole in my damn chest for you, Rick. FOR YOU. You chose to step in the way, I didn't force you to or ask you to. Hell, if you wanted me to, I would die for you, to keep you alive, safe, and happy." He drops his arms, leaving the decision up to Rick now, although he was still holding the towels he had been trying to stop the blood with.

Johann ruffled up the boy's hair. "You're very welcome." He said, smiling at Sparky. "You should take him back before I steal him for myself." He chuckled, holding him out.

"I heard they arvent that hard to get.. if you ask arvound the female staff at the store..." He said with a nod. "You can easily find vun that'd suit your needs."

Sparkey murred, nodding. "If you want to come with me, sure. I'd be happy for you to come."

Rick pretty much just broke down. This was far to much for him to even try to understand right now. He hadn't felt such emotions in thousands of years and it was overwhelming.
Falling to his knees, Rick covered his face with his hands, caring little at the mess he was making. He pretty much screamed, before pulling his hands from his face andd wrapping them around himself, clutching at his back.
"Damnit it hurts!!" He cried, looking genuinely pathetic.

Sparky chuckles, walking over and taking Akito back. "Are you sure it's alright for him to take these with him? What if he breaks them?" he asked, worried about the boxes that Johann had put on Akito's wings.
Akito giggles, then shyly waves at Johann. "Dadda?"

Ken thinks for a moment, then nods. "I'll have to do that next time we're actually at the shop then. Thank you for humoring him, by the way."

Valin smiles, then nods, scooting off Sparkey's lap to stand in front of him. "Ready whenever you are, Sparkey."

Seeing Rick break down like that, Aura crouches down next to him, carefully wrapping his arms around the skunk, concentrating on getting the sliced fingers wrapped before he tried anything else. "Rick... What do you want most, me to leave you alone to do as you will, or to let you think?" He seemed unsure, as if he couldn't decide whether he should hug the other again or not, completely confused as to what else could be wrong with him.

Johann smiled. "They wont break so easily. And they need to be removed a certain way or they wont budge, so he can't choke on them either." He chuckled at Akito. "I'm not your Dadda silly."

"Oh it's alvight. Curvious childven should never be contained. It's how they leran after all." He said with a soft smile.

Sparkey nodded, getting up as well and wrapping an arm around Valin. "I could get used to being around you pretty much everyday."

"Don't leave.. please don't leave.." He sobbed, still clutching his back. He was unaware of it, but the fabric of the shirt covering his sholders started to smoke. "I don't want to be alone anymore.."

Sparky smiles, then nods. "That's a relief, at least. Hopefully nobody else decides to try to yank them off though. His wings might get hurt.
Akito tilts his head, then smiles. "Not the daddy!"

Ken nods, then blinks. "Neither of my other two sons has been curious about anything except soccer and sex." He says, blinking some more. "At least this one is different."

Valin snuggles against Sparkey, wrapping his arms around him. "I've already grown used to being around you, but would love for it to be everyday.

Aura notices the smoke, then goes wide-eyed. "Rick... Your shirt is starting to smoke on your shoulders... What's going on?" he asked, not leaving, but also not stepping closer, not until he knew what was going on.

"I shouldn't think someone would try and do that. Unless they're particularly creul." He nodded, looking at akito and smiling. "Nope." He chuckled.

Vincent nods. "This vun sounds normal at least hm..?"

"So would I, Val." He said witha grin, nuzzling his cheek as they left again.

"I don't knoww... But it hurrts.." He whined, the white starting to char black as it started to burn, showing two patches on his shoulder blades that seemed to be glowing.

Sparky nods, snuggling Akito. "There are anthros like that around. I just hope we don't run into them. I'd have to fry them if they tried anything."

Ken smiles, then nods. "This one even enjoys sitting down with me and watching cartoons. That's a good sign there."

Aura stepped closer to Rick, bending down and lacing his hands with the skunk's so that Rick would have something to squeeze to fight the pain. "There are... two patches on your shoulder blades now... And they're glowing." He said, blinking.

"Well i'm sure that'd deter them from trying it again. It wouldn't do too much damage anyway, i don't think. might bruise though."

Vincent chuckled. "Maybe just make sure he does constrvuctive things as vell." He nodded. Too much tv wasn't too good.

"Ahh damnit.. I'll kill that Fox.." He seethed through gritted teeth. "There had to be some stupid side effect didn't there..?" He edged forward from the fridge. "I think.. things could get a little.. warm.." He said inbetween winces.

Ken chuckles. "We do that too. He really likes to color, and have me read to him. I've also got him some constructive toys, like Lincoln Logs, Legos, and a few others."
