Ohmygosh, if this is serious, it's a sad commentary on a fear-driven church. If it's satirical, I am not sure if it *is* funny cus it means this is how Christianity is viewed. Nevertheless, the signs on the list are a sheer riot!
Complains of boredom...like you outgrow this.
Count Chocula??? That cereal has been around since I was a little kid. In fact, I remember when it and Frankenberry and BooBerry cereals all were introduced and it was way before the term Gothic was applied in the way we use it.

I do agree with the pentagram and other symbols. The rest is just rediculous.
God knows our hearts, regardless of what we wear, and how we dress. But it's a bit of a shock when you hear that the kid that wears pentagrams and upside down crosses is actually a Christian. wink

Some of the things listed I wound agree were negative, but most of it is all just ignorance. Though it may just be for humors sake, it kind of hurts me inside because it's partially true. Many Christians have the misconception that anything Gothic is automatically associated with Satan, and that's not at all what being goth is about. It seems that things like this give Christianity an increasingly bad name. God tells us not to judge others; that's His job. God tells us not to do this, yet it's something all "Christians" are so quick to do. Instead of bringing people to the Lord, we're pushing them away.
I think that all of us can really help this problem by just showing others that goths aren't evil people. We're not out to hurt people or convert them to Satanism. Just be yourself and walk in the Lord. I think if people see this positive side of the sub-culture that all these negative stereotypes will begin to fall away.
Sorry, just a little rant. This kind of thing bothers me to no end.
But yes, the Count Chocula thing is ridiculous. Since I eat Lucky Charms nearly every day does that mean I think I'm a leprechaun?
