Andromeda: Seemed a bit out of place as she gazed at herself, as if lost by what was there. She had no gaze that even admitted she knew the other elfling was standing next to her. As if a thunderbolt struck her and Yami, she reared up and shrilled. Her eyes wild with frenzy caught scent of something nearing toward them. Her pools that she saw from seemed dazed with fear.
~*~
The silver vixen streaked through the mossy path as she veered to her right into the dense foilage that cradled like a soothing blanket. Her eyes, shimmering orbs of the night glimmered- prey was near. She curled her lip in anticipation as a large fox such as herself was ready to take on anything. The moon hung midway amongst the clouds, fatning to the fullness it so desired.
The beast''s cries sounded delicicious as the rang outward like a becon.
The vixen paused as the prey shriked its warning. So close now.. so close.

Yami: The elf jumped back as Andromeda reared up. Somethign was approaching, but it was distant for the moment. His glanced turned towards Andromeda then towards what was approaching in the distance. The form seemed like that of a small animal about the size of a wild cat or a dog of some sort. Without Rein in sight, he was the only one with Andromeda that could be a guardian. His midn rushed with the idea of where Rein could've been.
"Could it have gotten her, and now it's after Andromeda," his mind raced. His hand reaching for his sword. He sat down the supplies on his back so that he could move freely.
It was approaching fast, whatever it was. He had to protect Andromeda, he couldn't let Rein down at this point. With his hand on his sword, he waited and waited for it to approach even closer, stepping his way in front of Andromeda.

The vixen picked up her pace as she advanced on her prey.
'Its now or never" she thought deeply. In which she sprung in the air toward the deer that shrieked its fear. There was something else as well possibly protecting it.
Andromeda: Saw the silver streak and reared once again. Her powerful legs now lashing to protect Yami. Her eyes were wide as she bent her horn toward the carnivore. She had lost Rein and was not loosing Yami as well.
The vixen saw the deer retaliate as she salivated over the muscles that ripped in the beast's shoulders. Its eyes laid upon the other creature as well as it held something that caused a threat to the female's very existence.
And the setting around the fox did quell and distort into that of a nightmare. The burning fire, the raided kingdom, and the cries of so many that wanted to survive.
"But, Mommy...I want to stay with you... I want to stay here."
"Rein Sha'lae T'valsa...Do as I say. For the sake of everyone...run away from here....now.
Pain. Sadness. Seperation.
The fox stumbled as its head swirled with things filing in so incredibly fast. It was unsure what was driving it mad as it howled in confusion

Yami dashed between Andromeda and the Fox as it leapt toward her. Despite Andromeda trying to step in fron of him, he stood his ground in front of her with a frim grip still on the sword in his sheath.
"Andromeda, you're life is too important to Rein to have you get hurt here, I won't let you stupidly sacrifice yourself for my own."
Yami stared down the fox with it's silver coat, it seemed familiar to him, like he felt a connection to the vixen in front of him. He couldn't shake the feeling he knew the fox from somewhere, but from where, and the whole way out here in a place he had never been before.

The world begun to spin, as the ground did shake, leaving the background crumbling from the growing flames. The screams, the fear, and the panic loomed like a driven demon of the night. All around her the visions caved in- so much pain.
The vixen stumbled as her muzzle released a sorrowful howl that sounded almost vaguely a common tongue. Her eyes flickered with the flames as she backed away from the great beast before her. Perhaps she was going mad?
Andromeda: Reared back up again bringing her forefeet down quite hard upon the strange room that swerved and swung like the great stars themselves. She started feeling someting that was tugging at the back of her mind. Reality was crashing in like the waves upon the ocean- ragged and continuous. She snorted and blinked her eyes focusing even more. There seemed to be a doorway, an arch behind the fox. And what was more strange is the mare saw not the large predator, but a sorrowful hurt child.
She tossed her head and pushed forward sending images like mad to the creature whom whined and stumbled over her own back feet.
"Rein.... see the doorway....the way out."

Yami stood in place, looking between both andromeda and the fox. Both seemed to have come to a stop in their actions. Yami was weary of what would happen next so he stood still in his stance. What was going on between the fox and Andromeda, his mind was uncertain as he stood there in place.

The vixen saw images smoothering out the flames and Pain. Pain. Suffering. Why? Images of a doorway. Behind me? She whirled around as her temples pulsated with confusion and indecision. Who? The blurriness was lessening as the creature focused on a large horse patterned of the heavenly stars, and a humanoid type on two legs. Strange. The room around her dissolved into a cave-like area where they stood. There was a large pool of water directly behind them as well. Falling....
Andromeda: Tried relentlessly to tell the fox of the doorway as each of them were in some sort of trap. She whinnied as her purpleish mane flowed with her head motions. And stood silent, for the room had changed to a normal passageway they had followed before. And strangely enough they weren't alone. Seems in the confusion a figure had joined them. Annomaly.
~The stallion watched the trio with one distinct eye, swirling like the universe itself, whilst the other lay indirectly beneath his shining mane.. His coat was seemingly identical to the horned mare that stood staring at him. The stallion nodded his head to her and looked at the fox and Yami.
"Welcome to the center of the universe. Please if you'd follow me, I will explain why you are here." he said as openly as if conversation was understood by all races.~

Yami stood staring at the image in front of him. The very horse in front of him looked much like Andromeda. His eyes turned back to the fox and Andromeda, then back to the new arrival.
"What do you mean by the center of your universe?"
Yami relaxed his body a bit, but was slightly agitated, "Andromeda and I are here, but what have you done with Rein? If you've hurt her in anyway.."

The vixen swayed softly as if entranced by something. The creature before the female seemed strange yet soothing to her furry ears.
The words "Welcome to the center of the universe. Please if you'd follow me, I will explain why you are here."drifted through her like a soft wave lapping upon the shore.
Andromeda: Snorted but nodded her head towards Yami's fear of Rein's absense. "Where is my guardian. Perhaps this Anomaly can tell me." she pondered with a flick of her ear. The mare looked at the vixen and felt a strange vibration travel up her withers to her fine set head. Nodding with a single step forward waiting for both of the others to do the same.
The vixen glanced up at the horned mare and seemed to know what she was trying to portray. Her tail bushy and soft as a silken fabric of silver wagged slowly and she stepped forward as well. The female fox looked deeply now at Yami as if to say, "Are you coming?"
The tall stallion shimmered in the dancing lights of the way he lead. Slowly his gait lead him further till he stopped to crane his neck behind him, perhaps to make sure they were following. He furled his deep wings and nodded as the fox and mare were following one another, then looked at Yami to see if he would.
Once again he spoke, "Please follow me. I'm sure queries will flow to answers should you discover that which you seek.

Yami looekd up at Andromeda as her thougths passed into his, but at the moment they were nothing mroe than a bunch of random, jumbled images.
"I'm trying to understand what you mean, but the random images of Rein at this time only seem to make me worry a bit more."
He followed the group behidn the stallion.
'I wonder where ths path takes us. Where is Rein anyhow?"

~They walked onward till they approached a strange room the leaned upward. The smell of the night air seemed fresh, and strangely enough as if they were outside. The stallion turned to face the three his tail swishing lightly.
"Welcome to my universe. If you will please make yourselves at home till I prepare my welcome." he stated plainly that each creature could plainly understand him.
He nodded to the piles of books and papers that lined the walls about them. Strange mobiles hung from the ceiling composed of models pertaining to solar systems and other worldly bodies from the stars.~
Andromeda: Peered through her silky forelock at the stallion whom spoke as if he was like her guardian, yet she understood him perfectly. This was a bit frustrating to say the least. She snorted and turned to look at the fox whom stared unconventionally at Yami for some reason.
The vixen heard the stallion, yet her eyes peered at the male elfling as if trying to communicate someway. Her busy tails danced as she concentrated, the silver pelt glistening happily.

Yami spun a bit, startled, gazing about the room. The voice he had heard was still unfamiliar, yet he couldn't sense much of anything from the entity before him. The elf made his way to the walls. Using his index finger to adjust his shades he glanced over the books that line the walls as if it were a mass library.
"These books? what would we be able to learn from these books," he question.
His eyes then dropped for a moment, then looked back at Andromeda," My apoogies young lady, for the time beign we do not have any knowledge of what has happened to Rein. Though I may appear curious about what lies before us my mind is not at ease at what lies behind us. Forrgive me for not keepign a better eye on her"

~The celestial stallion looked to the vixen whom stared intently at him then to Yami. A smile seemed to appear on his muscular attuned face. He slowly turned his gaze back Yami and stood quiet for a moment. Then spoke casually as he had begun before.
" I am Anomally. This form is merely a mistake which I must live with for the rest of my being, which will be a very long time. I used to be a powerful wizard that concentrated on this land and all that dwells. For knowledge is the key that binds. But for all my research was worth, I was forced to contain myself in this very tower. Driven to hide from those that wanted this knowledge...." he said with an almost soft regret to his voice.
Andromeda: stood quietly as if taking in his very words into her own soul. She nodded her head off and on as she continously listened. It seemed she could understand his every word.
The stallion once again spoke, this time more so toward Yami himself.
"All these books contain my research of a thousand years past. And I see the missing one has returned." he said as the vixen's eyes looked to the ground where the velvet book encased with a closed eye was placed.
"What is your name Sir elf that you came to my domain with Andromeda and the hybrid elfling? And I do mean your real name. It seems you and her have lost each other along the way in your long journey to find one another. Look closely and you will find the one that you lost." she said once again as his gaze turned to Andromeda.
"Child that was born of the heavens that you are. Seems you need something else you oh so do desire. Come with me to the utmost tower and I will reveal to you what is sought."
Walking toward a sullen door he graced his spiral upon it. A faint noise could be heard as a doorway opened.
"Come Andromeda. It is time."

Yami nods to anomaly.
"All these books, centuries of research, the things that could be learned here, I do so wish I had more time to thoroughyl explore such a vast library, but Andromeda's quest is priority as is finding Rein. The name of who I use to be is not so much as important as who I am today. Who I am today is what matters most since who I was couldnt protect that which was important to him."
His eyes turned away for a moment, "That is a painful part of my pastm and I don't know if I should even have memory of that time. There are thing I regret not having been able to do right, so I do not know if I am even deserving of the name I use to be."
