*Shunketsu takes off first into the jungle-like course...jumping on a tree branch and started racing from tree to tree...finding his way through it*
hmm...I wonder what will appear in this place....*Shunketsu takes out a kunai just in case something tries to ambush him...*

::Removes his kunais from the tree and replaces them in their holder. Then Kurai removes his sword from the tree and continues deeper into the area.::

::Buki sighed heavily as she saw the two jump into her playground as if it were made for children::
::as the two new students went skipping through the trees, a strange sound greated their ears, as if something was nearby. It didn't seem to be trying to conceal its noise, but so far nothing was in sight::
::for Kurai, something new stalked him through the underbrush, much more silent, and slightly more intelligent::

::Motoko quickly pulls out a kunai, and stands ready to fight the mysterious creature::

*Shunketsu stops as he lands on the branch of another tree...He can hear something coming...it wasn't masking it's prescence, but it was good at concealing itself...With his kunai brandished and ready to counter, he closed his one good eye and listened carefully...*
THERE! *Something pounced on Shunketsu from behind, but upon contact, Shunketsu used Kawarimi and replaced himself with a log*
*Shunketsu reappeared above the creature and threw a kunai down at it, but it dodged* that one's fast...
*Shunketsu took a good look at it...and it was a (Description of Creature Here)*

::Kurai stops in the middle of a clearing. Then, silently, he replaces his sword and stands tall with his legs together. Kurai then proceeds to preform a small series of hand seals, holding on the last one. He waits unmoving for the creature's move.::

(ooc: if its all the same to you, I'd like to describe my own creatures ^.^ it makes it more interesting. And, I know its selfish, but I'd rather you not take control over the creatures as sometimes I have actual plans on how they are going to attack and things ^.^)
::the creature, oddly ape like, looked and screamed with fury at him. Its hair was short and brown, leaving only its black face and glowing red eyes visable.It scurred off into the trees, this time taking the trouble to conceal itself and remain quiet,seeing as its prey wasn't just going to lay down and let it eat. It swung from tree to tree, circling the pair and waiting, seeing how they moved and where they were going::
::Another quadruped was stalking Kurai. It knelt now in the underbrush around the clearing, watching his movements, curious as to its prey's hesitation. It managed to work its way around to Kurai's back, not making a sound. Here it coiled to pounce::

*Shunketsu retreats back to where Motoko is*
So...how do you want to fight it? as a team, or should one of us just go all out by outselves? *Shunketsu can sense it somewhere near, but this time, it was concealing itself, very well too....*
*Shunketsu pulls out his Fuuma Shuriken but keeps it in its claw position for now*

::the creature gave a loud screech as it leapt through the trees, slicing through the air between them and managing to cut Motoko's arm with the claws on one hand::
::the russling around them grew louder and then settled once again into a deep silence::

damn...it's fast, even though it let out a screech beforehand, it can still get so close in such a short time? I shouldn't hold anything back if I want to kill it...but Kage Shuriken may not be enough to kill it...I know!!!

*The Fuuma Shuriken is now a flaming fireball, slicing and burning its way through the air as it flies directly at the creature*

::and indeed the weapon hit its target, sending the creature into firey little flames, along with part of the trees around it. But now, there was more screeching coming from around them, this time it was angry. It seemed that there was not just one of these creatures but now a whole pack, who had just seen one of their own killed::
::the trees shook with their jumping and screeching. several leaped in to attack them both and then leaped back to the safety of the trees::
