He laughed out loud, the trick amusing him generously.
"Simple parlor trick, me boy! Any good dwarf can sense true spoken magic. Still, yer good lad. It's difficult ta keep the eye of the people on you and not ye hands without the art of the tongue ta distract them."

Caylem sighed and shrugged. he gave a quick flick of his wrist and held up the man's wallet.

He growled and snatched back his wallet, stuffing it back into his armor.
"Cute, boy...real cute."
He stood and stretched his limbs, cracking a few bones as he sighed.
"What the hell would bring a boy like you ta a place like this, 'eh?"

Another burst of laughter. He was liking this kid more and more.
"This place is startin' ta get a bit stale. How about we go find some more excitement?"
He jumped up from the bench and began making his way towards the entrance.
"Snap to it, sonny! We ain't got all day, ye know!"

Caylem took off the coat and gave it a quick wave and tossed it to the air. A light grew from inside it until it became a humanoid form, wearing the coat. it bowed slightly to Caylem. "You called Master?" it said.

He was surprised to say the least. The boy must have developed some form of magical ability beyond parlor tricks. The boy was full of more gems than a mountain.
"And that there be a light elemental, if I'm not mistaken."

Caylem looked at his servant, the servant spoke. "I am a sentiet being." it said softly. Caylem smiled and slid his hands into his pockets. "I am a servant to those most worthy of my powers."

"Well unless you can zip us from here to there, you ain't much use to me at the moment."
He continued marching on, his destination unknown but pinpointed. The ground had alerted him to a small battle happening somewhere within the city, and it included the one he came here to find.

The being look to Caylem and disappeared. Caylem picked up the coat and wrapped it around his shoulders. He gave him a card. "where we going?"

He trudged on, the city coming into view after a short time. He took the card and read it as quickly as he could, not wanting to be distracted from his goal.
