TL-chan Paul McCartney, Mike Dirnt (I -adore- the bass line to Longview. whee ), and... uhm. I dunno, really o_o Neither are very good. And Longview is about the only decent song bass-wise. I don't mean to criticize, I just wouldn't want anyone to think that either of the two play "good bass."

right now im really trying to get into the whole "playing and singing" thing. so right now im just keeping my eyes on Geddy Lee, because if you've seen him, you probably question how his voice is ranged like that too. xd

osgood_schloter_boi my favorite bassist would have to be Joun Paul Jones of Led Zepplen. biggrin mine as well, he is one of the most underestimated musicians of all time and i still laugh every time i see him in his dark corner at madison square gardens surrounded by keyboards doing call and response stuff with page

Chibo-Sensei Paul McCartney all the way!!! AWSOME!!! domokun Okay, the Beatles were (and still are) cool. They were all good singers, Harrison was an awesome musician, and Lennon was a great guitarist/singer/song-writer. Paul McCartney, however, was not that good at bass. Don't get me wrong, he's a good singer and piano player and all that. But I've yet to hear a bass line from McCartney in the same league as any bassist from the following list: Les Claypool Victor Wooten Flea Jaco Pastorius Billy Sheehan Geddy Lee etc.
