the part we wrote together is probably only a page long, maybe a little more, maybe even a little less...
We didn't take too much time on it because we a)wanted to get it out sooner, and b) Well there wasn't tooooo much info. to give out in the very first post.

((OMG HELL FROZE OVER!))
Darkness enshrouded the circular table that was dark enough without the dim light of the room. Eight shadowed figures gathered round the table all with a deadly look in their eyes. All were very different in their own aspects. There were several men and several women but those weren’t the only obvious differences. There were chairs gathered around the dismal table and all of them begrudgingly took a seat.
“We couldn’t possibly have chosen a place where we don’t have any specific ties, could we?” One man stated with a roll to his eyes and a sigh under his breath. This particular man had long flowing golden locks that framed his face rather well. He had a strong look to him, as if he is willful and powerful. His sapphire blue eyes practically sparkled in the dark glow of the room. He had a thin, build to him, like he wasn’t all that strong, but if one were to be smart, they would figure differently. “I was not exactly sure that agreeing to meet with the likes of you… creatures… would suit my purpose… but who knows.” He gave a snobbish smirk, almost as though he had his nose stuck up high in the clouds. Pure white angelic wings fluttered from his back making it rather obvious of his race. He was in fact an angel but in this case, he was a rather high ranked angel. He didn’t wear too much but a silky white robe to accent his angelic appearance that fell over him almost like a toga. Silver accompanied his outfit such as a silver headband, silver armbands, silver bracelets, and silver anklets. He had a sense of superiority to him, like many of the other surrounding the table.
A gentle laugh took over the silence of the room as he finished his little speech about how they were mere creatures, "Shove your snotty comments where they belong Feather's. Note that you are far out numbered by us in this room. Filthy beings of light..." a smooth voice fell through the room. It was hard to see the woman who had spoken, as she aloud a slight shroud of darkness to fall about her, the only thing that could be seen clearly, the tattered clothing and the overly exposed tanned flesh she possessed. However, as she reached out a hand, long black painted fingernails rapped across the equally as black table-top, sending a slightly chilling noise through the air. Another lilting almost mocking laugh drifted through the room, "Though feather's, I must admit, I do not see why we are all gathered here, not even the beings of the night really get along too well. Take our Vampire and Liken as a prime example," she stated, the hand withdrawing to run through thick short locks of a mowhawk, visible only as it caught a glimmer of candle light. "It must be something important, might I ask, does it have something to do with this war they say is brewing between feathers' kind and ours?" she queried, almost mocking the thought.
“Indeed he is dear… but I think he has a point.” A rather young looking man commented stepping out from the darkness. He had an innocent look to him but that was just a façade. “Our lovely Angel here needs our help just as much as we need his in order to beat those blasted neutrals…” he cut himself off, “Then we’ll go after our little feathered friend here.” Once in the actual light of the candle his dark and handsome features could be seen. His dark hair reached down towards his shoulders, his eyes almost blended in with them. They would be practically out of sight if his hair would fall in front of his eyes. “Now, we each need to rally together. Does everyone agree?”
“I don’t know…” out stepped another dark creature. This one had some muscle to him and was even taller than the previous. His hair was dark as well, more like jet black, but was spiked in a messy sort of way. “The vamp, as much as I hate to admit, has a point. What do they do for us?” He didn’t seem to be the brightest of the lot but he was still smart enough.
“Aww, wolfy-boy, don’t worry. We have to get rid of the neutrals in order to fight each other properly. We cannot kill each other off one way or the other with those damned neutrals in our way.” The previous darkling stated.
“I don’t know if I can exactly trust your kind either, Incubus.” The werewolf was right to be cautious. Anyone of these races could backstab the other if they so chose to but they were all they had at the moment.
"We all know that the only creature that we really can't trust is feathers right here... But everyone is right, we are all we've got, and if we want this war to be the last and final, we have to make sure no Neutral son of a b***h takes that chance away," the same feminine voice came from before, as a slender but pale woman with a black and red mowhawk moved into the light.
"So it's an agreement, a sort of... pact between light and dark sealed in our blood, that until the neutral threat is destroyed, we will focus on slaying the neutrals. We have to keep it hush hush you know..." another feminine voice came, this one belonging to a young woman, large fox ears resting on top of her head.
"As always, you make things much more dramatic than they need be..." the vampire mumbled, referring to the Kitsune. "Sealed in our blood," though it sounds noble, that isn't any better that sealing it with a handshake... The old ways are dead Foxy."
“Not completely” smirked the short darkling. He had back length, light gray hair that shown brilliantly in the candles light. “We can still spill some blood.” The dark elf seemed a little too sadistic for his own good. He did not have a very athletic build but he did look dangerous enough. His eyes practically glowed their cyan color.
“Umm, let’s not… and still say we didn’t.” The lean surfer looking one stated in a rather smart allec tone. He was certainly taller than the dark elf, anyone in the room was for that matter. “Where is the last one of us… he’s late…” The werecat tapped his foot impatiently.
“Oh, quite your whining” boomed another voice. This figure chose to stay within the shadows. “It seems you all grasp the concept of why I summoned you here. Unfortunately, we don’t have much time. We all must combine forces to take down our current target… but we need to work together! All of this senseless bickering is something we need to get rid of… at least for now. After all is said and done we can kill each other if it tickles your fancy.” The shadowed figure paused for a moment. “The first thing we need to do is take out those who are in line for master-hood. Each of you must go out and either take them down yourselves or send your lackeys. Once that’s done, we can take on our dear friends.” With that said, the candles dimmed and all went forth, back to their own bases. The plan was set in motion.
---
And so it began.
---
The sun sank into the distant horizon as if it were a ship, falling further into the depths of the seemingly never-ending ocean. Night soon fell upon the city and darkness along with it. Lights from each building provided enough light to get about but not so much that it would make someone think it was day. Benign to the people of London, danger now crept around every corner, almost brimming forth to engulf anyone that comes near. Darklings awoke or just plain became active at this time. Others were already on the move. Not only did murderers, rapists, and thieves walk the streets but something more dangerous than all three. One could only hope to find some safety and sanctity during the ever-lasting night.
Amongst all the buildings there lay a mansion just outside the city, closed off by a rather intimidating black gate. Some could take it as just keeping people out but truth be told it was not just keeping them out but keeping them from knowing the secrets that dwell within. The mansion seemed dark and almost dead, as if nothing roamed on the inside. There were thick, blood red curtains that covered each window, thick enough to keep light out. Soon, the mansion sprang to life as the curtains opened almost simultaneously and lights flicked on. People could be seen moving around on the inside as if it were a ball but the gates never opened to allow anyone in.
Shadows stretched across the land surrounding the mansion, almost as if they were alive. It appeared as most the people inside the house were residents it also appeared as if some were not. Some of the shadows did not exactly appear natural. Instead of stopping at a certain point as others would, they continued until touching the mansion. Soon the shadows became enshrouded figures and soon they became formally dressed people. On the inside, not all was that it appeared as well. It appeared to be a normal ball but if one were to look deeper, the people in the ball were not exactly normal. This was the dominion of the master vampire, Avis. This was his part of town, in vampiric terms.
When people think of a master vampire, they think of some older looking man who is pushing his age limit. Avis is quite different. He appears to be around the age of 26 but talking to him, people would not be so deceived by his looks. He is in fact old, a little over 400 to be precise. He has auburn hair that falls just above his brow and is parted at the center. He is usually found dressed rather formally in dress shirts, sometimes tuxedos, dress pants, and dress shoes. Avis tends to be somewhat old-fashioned. To go with his hair, his golden eyes match almost perfectly and are almost too good to be true. The only thing that is truly odd about him is how pale his complexion is. It’s rather unnatural. He stands at about 6’2” and looks pretty much athletic. In other words, he was a pretty handsome man, more or less.
While everything began as gentle conversation, some guests from across the seas arrived. “Renae! Come, I want you to meet someone!” Avis’ hearty voice rang through the ball room. Not long after a younger looking man arrived. He appeared to be 18 years old and he was becoming a good age, in vampire years of course. In a week he would be 200, a time where vampires truly began to obtain power. Of course there were other ways but this was the crucial moment where they practically ascend into true power. His hair was short-ish and black. It was messily moved around in the front but was more or less neat in the back. He had ice blue eyes that were almost piercing and unnatural but matched him when it came to his dark hair and fair complexion. He was athletic as well, not as much as Avis, but close enough. He pretty much had the body of a swimmer. The young man was tall as well, standing at about 6 feet tall. He had this aura to him that was mysterious and captivating but not too intimidating. He approached Avis and the over-seas guest, “Yes, Avis?” This young man turned out to be Renae. “You wanted me for something?”
“Ah, yes. This is Frederick Holmes, one of my associates from the states.” The gentle man practically bowed to him in respect. “And this fine young man, is Renae Benoit.” Renae replied with the same response. It was only common courtesy. Renae had a rather blank look on his face that was practically unreadable except to people like Avis. Avis and Renae have always been close, like father to son close although they did not appear that far off in age. “Renae, we have something to discuss later on tonight with our friend, Mr. Holmes, here. Since you are going to be my predecessor, you should take part in our little discussion.”
“As you please.” Renae flashed a look of concern in his eyes to Avis. “When shall we meet, Avis?” He asked rather curiously.
“Soon, dear boy, very soon.” Avis replied nonchalantly.

((I have NO idea how Mizu wants it to start. Tis why my post is yet to be up. I don't think we're required to be at the ball though. I think that was just to introduce his Master and the such. I know he has a plan to get us all together, or at least the beings trying to slaughter our characters do.
You'll have to speak with him though to be sure of what he wants. I'll have him post when he gets the chance and explain that to everyone.))
