"Nope not at all!" Dara said grinning shaking Mizuki's hand. "I find it just as cool to meet someone born in Soul Society, also, since you introduced yourself with your last name first, I'll tell you that my name is Dara not Nyx though Nyx works... I was raised a bit japanese because I am half japanese but one of the things I got used to doing was introducing myself with my first name first." Dara led Mizuki into her room. "Sorry if I blend into the room a bit but my favorite colours are blue and black." Dara fingered her saphire crystal necklace. Dara's Zanpakutou leaned against the end table beside her bed. Her zanpakutou's weirdest feature that could be seen was it's crystal blue handle with the black phoenix design on it.

"Well, you really like those two colors don't you?" Said Mizuki. "My favorite colors are... hm... pale green and black! Or maybe some pink..." She paused, seeing the blue necklace on Dara's neck. "Hey! That's really pretty," she said, leaning in. "Do they have a lot of those in the mortal world?" she asked. I'd probably get a pale green or black one... or maybe pink... haha!" She giggled. She was bubblier than usual, excited to finally be in Seireitei.

"They have alot of fakes but this is made of real sapphire so your not likely to find it or one like it." Dara told her "I think it was a family heirloom on my grandmother's side but I got it from my little brother so I have no idea where it's actuially from." Dara's tone and eyes grew a bit saddened when mentioning her brother, then she pushed it away and added. "Also, I would take it off to show you but.... I have a feeling that it wouldn't be a good idea and besides, I never take it off." Dara fingered her necklace "I'll still try and find one with you though if we are ever in the mortal world together." Dara grinned and then grabbed her Zanpakutou to change the subject. "This is my Zanpakutou, Suishou Fushichou or 'Crystal Phoenix'. I guessed she was named that because of her crystal hilt and the black phoenix design, still haven't released her yet though."

arrow Dorm Room 481
Dreams are often peaceful. One would expect that, if a body could have their way, all of their dreams would be pleasant, with softness, light, and laughter. So why is it then, the people who wish for such things the hardest, can never achieve what it is they desire?
When Ran awakens, she isn't wrapped in the safe comfort of her dorm room, no, instead, she's laying face down on a broken set of boards in the middle of what appears to be a rundown estate. Blinking slowly, she hefts herself upwards, off the boards. She recognizes this place at first glance. It was the place she had been before. Chasing that figure in the rain. With a violent shake of her head, she righted herself, glancing around the empty room that surrounded her. The walls were overgrown with thick patches of vines, decorated with lotus blossoms.
Outside, the rain could be heard, and slowly, water dripped from various places in the ceiling. Her hand immediately reached for her zanpaktou, which she found unfortunately missing from her side. Glancing through the only apparent doorway in the room, on the southern wall, she made her way toward it, picking carefully over the rotten boards. She had no idea what lay inside this place, and what was worse, was the fact that she wasn't even one hundred percent positive where she was.
She had the sinking feeling that this place was familiar, but she couldn't recall having ever seen it before in her life. A torn picture was strewn across one wall, a family portrait of some kind, a man, and a woman, holding a young baby between them, the baby still a newborn. Her brow furrowed, and she moved past the wall, heading through another door, this one, leading east.

Through the eastern door, is what appears to be a main corridor, with a pair of stairs leading upwards, or, a hallway leading towards another door, one that appears to be the 'front doors' of the ruined estate. Picking her way over a fallen marble bust, and the pillar it apparently stood upon, she makes her way toward the apparent front doors. When the beams above her creak, and groan, likely from the rain outside, she hurries her steps. She doubts she'd survive if the thing collapsed upon her.
With a quick movement, careful not to jerk the door open too quickly, she makes her way out the estate, and down the large stairs that wind into what appears to be a garden area. The front gates of the estate loom in the distance, past the rain, visible, but only barely. There, perched in a tree just a short number of steps from her, is a young woman, the rain seemingly leaving her untouched, her body garbed in silk, and veils.
When Ran moves towards her, the womans eyes turn, and focus on her, before she leaps down behind the tree, out of sight. Ran rushes to catch up, calling out against the wind, only to find the area deserted, except for the sight of her zanpaktou, sunken into the mud behind the tree. With a wet sloshing sound, she pulls the halves of her daisho free, wiping them precariously against the grass nearby, before shoving them down into her obi. That takes care of problem number one. Now, for problem number two. Determining where, exactly, that woman went.

One would probably expect this to be an easy task. Unfortunately, it isn't. At least, it proves not to be, as she glances around, through the rain, before moving west. That was the most likely direction, after all. Everything else was wall. And she'd have seen the figure moving over the wall. As she takes off, she applies just a touch of her reiatsu, for a boost of speed. She'd gotten stronger, and she can tell it.
It doesn't tire her as much. Doesn't force her to slow herself, and keep paced. No, this is quick movement, and she covers ground rapidly, coming to a sudden stop as another figure becomes visible through the sheets of rain falling. This figure however, is different. Garbed in dark colors, its face is unseen, a tip of its head, revealing that past the black hair that is coiled upon its head, is a mask, in the shape of a fox face.
When Ran moves forward, this figure actually stays put, as though daring her to come closer.
"Who are you?" the question is softly spoken, and her hand is resting on the hilt of one of her two blades, prepared to draw, if necessary.
"Who am I? You can never tell, can you, little Ran? But you can hear us now.. can't you?" and then, to her unfortunate frustration, the figure vanishes, through the foliage leaving her cursing, as she takes off again, through the trees of the estate, headed after where she'd last seen the figure.

When she finally manages to catch up to the second figure, both appear to be standing there, back to back, like day and night. The two speak, as if in tandem, when they address her.
"You have come seeking knowledge." ... "but it is knowledge you may not have." ... "unless you first best us in battle." ... "and prove that you are worthy of us." ... "or would you rather remain." ... "a dog in the street?"
This causes her to hesitate, her hands curling into fists at her side. It seemed like everywhere she turned, she was just another dog in the street. No. What was it Megumi said? She was his cat. A feline. Not a dog. Facing the two women squarely, she reached down, withdrawing her daisho from her obi, shaking her head once.
"I ain't no dog." and she fell into a defensive stance, beckoning forward both women at once. "An' I'll prove it!"

Shinrei was still a little busy thinking about his classes and the best way to serve Soul Society. He felt like he had greatly changed since the incident in Hueco Mundo, for good or for worse Shinrei was no longer the same ol' cold b*****d he used to be in the past. Suddenly his deep meditation about himself and the changes he expected for the future was interrupted by the voice of the young lady. A single letter or perhaps a word escaped her mouth for the first time since their verbal fight.
"Something wrong ?"
Shinrei asked wondering what she wanted to say and if she was actually going to say it. Knowing she wasn't the kind of person that would open her mouth to say anything pleasant or good.

"Uh," she said uncertainly as she struggled for words, for anything to come out, "nothing's wrong..." She turned away, about to leave it at that when she forced herself to spit out, though she was turned over on her side, not looking at him. "I'm sorry Shinrei." There, she had done it, and it was one of the hardest things she had ever done in her entire life. And she did not know yet how she felt about it, whether she would regret it or not but she did know one thing, she had done it.
Not really caring to hear his response, she assumed that he was still meditating and randomly began stripping off her clothing. She had yet to change into her uniform so she had might as well get a move-on with it. Seeing as Tsuzume had not been around people much, not at all since she was about seven, she did not feel as uncomfortable without clothing as some. However, if Shinrei happened to glimpse her, she would not be giving him full satisfaction as she still had her bra, socks, and panties on.

Shinrei eyes slowly opens at the sound of her cloths falling. It was at this moment that Shinrei eyes open wide and a smile formed on his face. "My my, aren't we going a little fast ?" Closing his eyes as he let out a small laugh he says: "I know I'm irresistible but going this fast is suprising indeed !" Shinrei slowly stands up back on his feet and walks to her placing his hand on her face. "However I don't blade you at all !"

Tsuzune had been looking through her bag when she had decided that she would need to ask Shinrei about one when she saw him with a contorted smile on his face. "Why the-" next thing she knew he was talking about how irresistable he was. "A little fast? What do you mean a little fast? I was not moving." Since she had not really had too much social contact, she was unaware of terms such as a little fast and various others.
"Irresistable? What do you-" then his hand was on her face... She hit his hand away from her face and backed up, only remembering that the bed was there after she had bucked her knees against it's frame and lost balance. "I thought," she said threateningly, her light green and her slate gray eyes both flickering with venom, "I told you to keep your hands off me 'Mr. Irresistable'."

Shinrei eyes slowly scan her from head to toe as his face turns serious at her reaction. "Heh, Mr. Irresistible huh ? That sounds like a nice tittle indeed !" He laughs loudly as he turns around and walks away from her. At this moment it was clear than Shinrei was no longer the same person she met. His green eyes were now glowing with a reddish light in them , however this light slowly changed to turn his pupils back to a normal red color. Shinrei takes his sealed zanpakutou and smirks. "Heh seems like I have a long way to go because of you and your stupid behavior..." Placing his sword over his shoulder he looks at her with an evil smirk before staring to walk away. "Ya know...I have better things to do that dealing with someone that cannot make up their mind...do as ya life...I will go murder some hollows"

Tsuzune was about to say something not-so-nice to Shinrei when she heard him brag about himself and mock her. She, herself was about to settle herself back down on her bed and look for a towel when he had began walking away from her. Yet again she was about to say something not-so-nice to him when she was suddenly captivated and intrigued by his body and just him as a whole. 'He's sexy and hot.' Her hand shot up to her mouth though she had not uttered what she had thought aloud. Never before had her mind even registered these words but now without really knowing what they meant she had used them to describe him. She now thought she understood what people meant when they said hot and sexy.
Her mind invisioned scenes that were definitely not for children's eyes, involving him, her, and a bed... She shook the vision off, baffled by how her mind was thinking. She had never seen something so... wonderful, enlightening, erotic... NO NO NO! Something so inappropriate before. But it was so... NO! Inappropriate. Why did she think this? Why had her adjectives been hot and sexy when before they had been unpleasant and crude?
Tsuzune stood there, baffled, or so she had thought. While wondering what was wrong with herself, she had found herself applying some hidden speed that she had never known she had and ended up in front of him. No, she had not even been able to see that part since everything had been such a blur. Now all she was aware of were her lips pressed to his, her left hand bringing him, pulling him closer to her own body, embracing him so that their two bodies almost touched. And her other had found it's way to the back of his head, pressing his lips against hers, her fingers wandering through his hair.
This was odd... no, terrifying.... no, this was wonderful. There were just too many feelings she had right now to select only a single adjective to describe how she felt and what she was thinking. Random, inappropriate, desperaate, beautiful... They were but a few of the thousand adjectives that crossed her mind to describe what she was doing. She was terrified, physical contact, the mere idea of it frightened her and yet here she was with almost all of her body touching his, well, within millimetres, nanometres of touching him. That and she was more naked than clothed. Her lips and hands already touching him, feeling him, exploring him...

What ensues across the landscape is a fight that leaves sparks flying through the air, and eventually, the young woman on her knees, panting, between the two sprawled out figures of her zanpaktou.
The fight, it seemed, had happened in a mere instant. Blades had struck against one another, kidou had flown, and the young woman was scorched down one side, blood dripping steadily from a wound on her shoulder.
She had pushed herself to the limits of her abilities, in fighting those two spirits inside her swords. But even she wasn't finished, and she knew it. Ran rose, around the same time the two women did. She once more gripped her zanpaktou, and this time, closed her eyes, allowing herself to flow. That power that had seized her before, when she had been fighting for Megumi's sake.
And she still was, wasn't she? Wasn't she still fighting for his sake? Her hands trembled, and her blades came upward, crossing over her chest as it heaved for breath. When she brought them both down, the pinprick of kidou focused on the end of either blade was minuscule, just before it slammed outward, into the bodies of the women, who leaped together, and seemed to.. fuse? In the center?
Something made sense to her then. Her zanpaktou wasn't two souls, but one. Two different sides. The side in control now, was the darker side, the woman in dark clothing with the fox faced mask.
And that was the side barreling toward her, with murderous intent in her eyes, behind the mask.

"I'm not gunna lose." the phrase was a declaration, as Ran's features hardened, and she slid forward into a defensive stance. When the woman colided with her, there was a brief explosion outward of reiatsu, that sent a spiral of light and energy whirling around them. When the light faded down to a more reasonable level, Ran and her zanpaktou were engaged in a furious battle of strength, the two pushing against one another in equal measure. She knew, she knew that she couldn't allow herself to lose. Leaning her weight forward against the woman, she brought the second blade forward, colliding against the other woman's single sword. With her full weight pushing, Ran started to move forward, the three swords locked together fiercely.
"Oh come on. You can't win against us! Its futile. You know you're going to lose. You know you're not good enough. You really are just a dog in the street. Admit it! Admit what you are, and we can end this right here and now!" the voice behind the fox faced mask was laughing, but more than just laughter, it was that mocking tone that pushed Ran toward the edge of her anger. The woman gasped just slightly, as Ran started to move her backwards, digging her feet into the soggy ground beneath her. "You're just a dog. You'll never beat us."
"Shut up..." Ran's voice was whisper soft for a brief moment, before she lifted her head, glaring into the eyes of the fox faced woman, her arms shaking with exherted effort. "Shut up!" when she screamed this last, she brought both blades down, the scream becoming vocal, but without words, as reiatsu exploded around her in a violence that bowed trees and grass away from them, blowing the fox faced woman away from her with the exhertion.
