Kelala once again layed frozen as her mind slowly processed exactly what he did. Cheeks blushed a deep red as she quickly turned to her side to face the wall as she hid her head with the blanket. To stunned to form words with her mouth that was clamped tightly shut.

Morning came peacefully enough, with no further disasters. Being an early riser, Ovaan was already up, apparently cooking something over one of the glowing orbs set into a smal hole in the center of the round room, his antenna held up, alertly, but the rest of him calm as he stared into the pot over the glowing orb, poking at the contents with a wooden spoon thoughtfully.

Kelala slowly lifted herself up as she ran a hand through her messy hair. Confused she looked around not remember the night before events in the early morning haze. Finaly her eyes met upon Ovaan and she let out an eep and stared at him. Then her memory was returned to her as she let out a shakey breath.

Ovaan looked up at her as she moved, his mouth gently curving into an unreadable half-smile. "Well, well. Rise and shine, Sleeping Beauty." He murmurred softly, purple eyes crinkling at the corners as his smile became friendlier. "Sleep well?"

"Um...yes thankyou Ovaan." Kelala mumbled tiredly as she began to run her fingers through her messy black hair taming the rather long locks. She studied him half heartedly from her spot finding him...intersting.

"I'll bet you did," Ovaan laughed, stirring whatever was in the small pot, "You slept like the dead. How long were you travelling to make you keel over like that?" He watched her as she played with her hair for a moment, then gestured to the floor beside him. "Join me?"

Kelala hesitated but got up, walked over and sat down on the spot he indicted. Fidgeting she began twirling one of her locks between her fingers. "I kinda lost track of how long I have traveled. I just know there is still more road that I have to cover." She mumbled softly in a reply to his earlier question as she looked at the floor in a slight daze.

"Which would be to...?" He asked, interrogating her in a casual, friendly way, his purple eyes never leaving her as he sprinkled some sort of herb into the pot before them.
He finally tore his eyes from hers and stared at the fire beneath the pot. "Are you hungry?"

"To the Glamier Mountains and...yes I am." Kelala said sheepishly as her stomach seem to whine in agreement. Since she hasn't eaten since yestirday morning.

"Ahh. The Glamier Mountains. What would make you want to go there? It can't be because of the pleasant surroundings." His eyes danced bemusedly. Everyone, apparently even he, knew how dangerous the Glamier Mountains were.
"I expect you want me to feed you, then?" He asked, sounding annoyed, but a moment later he was grinning. He had been kidding. He pulled a slab of wood over to them. "Sorry," he murmurred, not at all embarrassed, "I'm not used to having guests." He set the pot on the slab of wood and handed his guest the wooden spoon he'd been cooking it with. "I'm not the best of cooks. Be warned."

"I'm sorry for the intrusion. And for the reason of my desitnation is I have to go retrieve something of personal value." Kelala said as she took the utensal from his hand thinking that the food he has made can't be as bad as some of the stuff she has tasted. Besides when one is hungry you have to eat what is aviable.

Ovaan frowned. "Yes, you've told me that. But what is it you're after?" His eyes looked at hers directly again, as though he were trying to read her mind.
And do you have any idea that you've ruined it for yourself? You've sealed your fate. You are alive, but you won't be leaving here. Not with your life. You will have to choose, eventually, between staying and leaving, and death. Don't you understand that?!
Ovaan got to his feet, facing aware from her as though moving to grab something, but he stayed very still a moment or two too long, perhaps struggling with his thoughts.

"Its a family heirloom alright thats very special." Kelala said with an irratated sigh. Of course she didn't explain it in detail like why it was very special. It wasn't like she was going to open up to a man she just met the night before that seemed a tad crazy. "Look if you want I will just leave, I have over stayed my welcome and I can't waste any time."

"No." Ovaan said. He pulled from a home-made dresser a comb that appeared to be made of ivory, and walked back to her. He knelt ehind her and began to comb the tangles out of her hair. "I want you to stay here." His voice was soft, almost begging, as he worked the comb through her hair, his now-green eyes soft with an odd emotion. "With me..." He ran his finger and the comb through her hair with gentle tenderness, one hand carressing her scalp as he worked.

The thought of pullin away from him had crossed Kelala's mind. But oddly the combing he was doing was rather soothing and relaxed her some what. "But...why?" Was all she could mumble out considering his petting seemed to befuddle her mind.
