"I can still see the look of rage on her face when she found out that we were trying to get into the Dragon's Lair. I've never seen her so angy, and she's usually so calm and rather boring!"

She really wasn't too happy with us at all," Chloe laughed. "And because she was the Gym leader, we got in double trouble when my parent found out."

"I can still hear my mother's lecture. She told me that I could never become a trainer if I didn't learn some respect and responsibility. I think that's what really pushed me to become one. That way I could prove hr wrong when I became stronger than Claire."

As Kaze appeared from his Pokeball, he let out a ground-shaking roar, happy to be let loose. Inhaling deeply, he charged a mighty fire attack that had everyone else ducking for cover.

"CHARRRR!" he roared, letting lose the giant bout of flame, thankfully not hitting anyone or any of the surrounding trees. At least he had sense enough to aim it for the sky, although Chloe was worried that that flock of Pidgey above certainly did look a little thinner when the flame at last died down.

"Man, suppose you know Flamethrower now," Chloe muttered, grinning despite herself as she rubbed the back of her head, which had hit a tree branch in her mad dive out of Kaze's way.

Layla and the others nodded in agreement to the warning. And all of them shared a quick laugh before Kureno noticed something on the far side of the clearing. A faint speckle of white was seen in the bushes below.

Curious, the cheerful Pidgeot fluttered down from the sky, taking a closer look at what had caught his attention.

"Kruee!" he called, startled, as the others looked to his position curiously. Kaze flapped upwards, creating a swirling gust of wind as he took flight to see what was going on on the other side of the clearing. Layla took off at a run, Chloe following close behind. But the trainer had to stop soon after to retrace her steps and scoop up Ayame, who had decided now was a good time as any to take a nice nap in a sunny spot.

She fell back a second later, a gasp escaping her lips as she searched frantically in her backpack for her canteen.

"Its a guy!" she managed to squeak, before returning back to the fallen boy's side

A faint dusting of white bangs covered much of his face at the moment, which was currently in a rather decieving state of peacefulness, due to him being lost to unconciousness.

Chloe dug around in the bushes, managing to untangle him for the most part, pulling him free from the entanglement.

The rest of her Pokemon gathered around as she managed to free the boy from the bushes. Chloe pulled her canteen from her side, glad that she had remembered to fill it up before she left the Pokecenter that morning, and splashed a bit of the cool water on his face.
