I have never had a late fine, I don't even know what it is here. My town is small so my libray is only open a two days a week and I probaly have more books in my house. They have been getting more and more books. (I recently found like 10 books I wanted to read that were never there before. They are like 3 and 4 books in series thought.) So due to my small libray I have to get requests, which means I wait forever for books, thus reading them in a day or 2. I get books on tuseday, and take them back on thursday, unless i get a big book, but I have yet to, and I get like 3 weeks to read. My libraying is nice, shes new too. Since I started going to the libray she has been there so she knows I return books on time.(Plus my mom takes them back if I can't)

I usually get books out I can't renew, so I have to read them in three weeks. I'm constantly paying their fines because I'm a couple days late finishing my books.

I renewed some books I had checked out before the due date, but I fear I still won't finish them all due to the big project for senior seminar. Being able to renew them online is good though. I've ordered several movies at the moment and have a list of books I'd like to read next so I just need to request them once the next between-quarters break happens. Higher education interferes with my pleasure reading!

Gah, I have a story to tell about something that happened at work recently.
A customer ordered an inter-library loan from the Library of Congress and never gave back the book. We had to pay for the book and a fine, which totaled some $200, and we now have our loan priviledges suspended with the Library of Congress.
RETURN YOUR BOOKS OR ICHIGO WILL EAT YOU.

Hey thats the way the cookie crumbles! I cannot remember when to ever return my books, so I just go on my computer and renew them till next month! Usually I will finished all 10 -13 of my books in a week, but if I dont, I dont really care paying fines!

I hate overdue fines. I always have them, because I read the books I got over and over again. It really bugs me!

Luckily, at my library, there are limits on the size of fines.
I finish books, but I forgeet to return them for months.
