The only ones I ever get are the "Love life" and "Luck" ones...>_> I had one last week saying if I didn't forward it to ten people I was going to die in a car accident the next day...

I get ones like' send this to so many people and press F11, F7, Crtl+W, or blah blah blah and you'll get so and so gold.' It's so annoying.

i'm nuetral about it. some chain letters are alright, but some are just plain stupid.

it's more of just what the letter contains...I mean if it's current news about the person sending it and he or she is supposed to be sending them to all his or her friends, then he or she shouldn't be crucified for it example: Quote: I am leaving Gaia for a while to go to ????, drop me lots of comments for I will be back on in 2 months blaugh now the person sending that will probably get all kinds of flames from his or her so called "friends" for sending a "chain letter". I can understand that some things are a bit unreasonable...but I suggest that we not just like blatantly be mean to the chain senders but just let them know that it's not a good idea to keep doing that...not rip their heads off but show them that we're above being mean about it

Well, something like that isn't exactally a chain letter. We're defineing Chain letters as something telling you to pass it on for no reason whatsoever and may also include something like a threat or empty promise. News about a person isn't a chain letter, and not everything that people send to all their friends is a chain letter. It's basically just what "Chainey" says in the newsletter. Quote: What is a Chain Letter? In Gaian terms, a chain letter is any private message or forum post that asks you to pass it on to a bunch of other people. It might say “send this to a dozen people,” or “send this to everyone on your friend list,” or “send this to everyone with a silly red hat.” Whatever. So, basically, a chain letter would be: Quote: If you send this to all of your friends, an angelic scarf will magically appear in your inventory tomarrow or: Quote: Send this to ten friends or something horrible will happen to you tomarrow
