It's not gay, it's masturbation.
: D
And by the way, RxH, you are also in the wrong as well as Sefie though. You seem to delude your thoughts on Aerith a bit too much for my liking, but I can see where you are coming from.

foxyboy_chan It's not gay, it's masturbation. Their not a part of Sephiroth their representations of different parts of Sephiroth and both Sephiroth and Kadaj had separate body's at one time. So they could very well have sex with each other but that would be incest. The only reason he turned into Sephiroth was because he had Jinova's head with him. Ewwwww incest. foxyboy_chan And by the way, RxH, you are also in the wrong as well as Sefie though. You seem to delude your thoughts on Aerith a bit too much for my liking, but I can see where you are coming from.
-shrugs- : D How can I be wrong if I have official evidence to back my claims and she doesnt? What ever as long as you understand where I'm coming from then I think I made my point clear.

RxH, I have to ask you again to please be civil to me. Your posts are always very offensive. Take your finger off the caps lock, and talk sense to me.
The bottom line of the issue is this: If Square wanted to create a hateable, selfish character they WOULD, and it'd be obvious. However, they would NOT make the herione who you're supposed to love one. Nomura said himself that the reason Aeris died was that the theme of the game was life, and that to portray that well they wanted to show death, and that death isn't the end of life. So they chose the character that would hurt the player the most, the herione. Who was it that died? AERIS. The HERIONE. Because it would hurt the player the most. I can go and get you the exact quote if you'd like, I'm all too happy to do it. Furthermore, the other characters didn't seem to mind Aeris at all. In fact, they all cried when she died. Cloud had a break down. Tifa stroked her face and ran off in tears. This doesn't scream "OMG W3 H4TE D4T B1TCH!" And you can't just write it off as the other characters just trying to be nice either. Cid, Vincent and Nanaki were also shown to be sad, and they couldn't care less about being nice when they don't want to.
Oh, and I'd like to point out that your "official evidence" was nothing but inference based upon your asumptions and judgements against Aeris.
And I realize this isn't a debate thread, but you were debating way before I got in here, so get off that horse.

Sorry RxH I agree with Sefie.
You're entitled to your opinion, but still you're acting a bit childish don't you think RxH? At least understand that you're only making assumptions from your 'official evidence' just like many others.
Still, this is supposed to be debate free, so I'll stop myself before I get any further.

SefieGainsborough RxH, I have to ask you again to please be civil to me. Yeah I know Nomura is the Cleris hero but you know people seem to forget that When an interview was made public with FF7 Dismantling, Japanese fans revolted at his honest and blunt statement, "Let's kill Aerith and bring out Tifa". It seems that since then Nomura’s been trying to cover it up and win back favor with the Aeris/Cleris fans by making hints and vague statements in their direction. And sure Nomura probably wasn’t trying to make her mean and selfish but that doesn’t mean that she didn’t come off that way. I have a good example of this. When the creators turned the first Robin (d**k Grayson) into Night Wing the realized that they needed a new Robin to replace him at Batman’s side. So they created Jason Todd. This new Robin was impulsive, reckless, and full of rage. Although his hard-headed personality sometimes fuels him with great strength and courage, it often leads him to take unnecessary risks. Even on missions in which Batman orders him to conduct surveillance, Jason attacks, ruining months of planning. Jason also uses excessive force to subdue criminals. Readers never truly bonded with Jason, so in 1988, DC made the controversial decision to poll fans in order to determine Jason's fate, using a 1-900 number. The poll was weather to kill him or not. The vote was 5,343 (Yes) to 5,271(No). On the history channel the creators stated that When the they wrote up Jason Todd’s character he was suppose to be a character that eventually grew in maturity under Batman’s wing but ended up taking on a life of his own. Now what relevance dose this have with Aeris. Both Jason Todd and Aeris were made to be portrayed in a cretin way by their creators but was seen differently by some of the public. So in short sure Nomura probably wasn’t trying to make a selfish girl out of Aeris but to a lot of people that's just the way she came off on them just like Jason Todd. SefieGainsborough Furthermore, the other characters didn't seem to mind Aeris at all. What was this rant for? I never said that the characters didn’t like her or hated her. Although Tifa might have been a little annoyed about the LTD I never once stated that she or anyone else in the game hated Aeris. SefieGainsborough Oh, and I'd like to point out that your "official evidence" was nothing but inference based upon your asumptions and judgements against Aeris. The official evidence was only to prove that Aeris did in fact know that Tifa liked/loved Cloud because it says in her “official bio” that she like to meddle in things and wants to deepen the love triangle between her Cloud and Tifa. There are no judgments or assumptions in this statement. It’s black and white SefieGainsborough And I realize this isn't a debate thread, but you were debating way before I got in here, so get off that horse. I wasn’t debating I was merely correcting people because they seem to misinterpret what I had wrote. Like when Jhay-R tried to compare the LTD with his own personal life. They couldn’t be compared accurately because they had too many differences. And like when people kept saying that Aeris didn’t know that Tifa liked Cloud when it’s clearly stated in her bio that she did know. I am only correcting them not arguing. Just like I’m doing now. I’m not arguing with you I’m mearly stating my views since you seemed to have misinterpreted them. I am only trying to make myself clear. I’m not saying that “They’re wrong for liking Aeris and I have proof why she‘s a b***h.” I’m saying “This is why I hate Aeris and here is proof as to why I think that way.” Now really I think that’s enough on the subject of Aeris. I have better and more fun things to discus on this thread then continuing on with Aeris.

Quote: "Let's kill Aerith and bring out Tifa". He's since said that was a joke. You can try and cover it up all you want, but if the darn CREATOR says "I was just joking, they took the quote entirely out of context, people took it too seriously" I'm gonna believe him, cuz if you can't believe NOMURA who CAN you believe? Whatever, I'm tired of talking with you.

Actually, I think I read some where (or heard in an interview, I can't remember anymore) that Aerith was INTERESTED in the TifaxCloud relationship.
I don't really know what this means, but I don't think Aerith was trying to break them up, but was just interested and probably found out that she liked Cloud as well. I feel that we all do this sometimes with our friends. Like when a friend is in love with someone and they tell me all the good traits about a person I sometimes guiltly admit to myself that that person is okay and I would like to be in a relationship with them one day if the opportunity passed my way.
Actually, there were TWO heroines in FFVII. I remember watching an interview that had Nomura saying that they wanted a game that was unique and made two heroines. They were actually planning on killing Tifa off, but they found that killing Aerith off could and probably would impact the player way more than killing off Tifa because Tifa's character was not as developed as Aerith's was at the time they planned on killing her.
Still, I think that how other people portray characters are all assumptions by what they do and did. There are many things that each character does and you can interpret them in many ways.

Look I apologies for before. I had a bad day and the last thing that I wanted to see was someone trying to prove me wrong on my personal views. But again I am very sorry it was wrong of me to take out my anger out on this subject. I mean I'm not a horrible person and I can admit when I have been wrong.
