RP with lenta 1/24/2006
[Post Number: ooo61]

Quote:
Lenta paced around the Center, ears flattened against her head. She wasn't upset or angry, just lost in thought, like she often got when there was nothing happening at... well, wherever she was at.

Vetch, however, was being a busy little bee! He had collected ALL of the loose change in the Center (even the stuff in the Take A Penny, Leave A Penny cup) and was stacking them allllll up into what he HOPED would look like Godzilla. Maybe. Or at least something with a nice copper and silver color to it.

LP walked into the shop and looked around just in time to notice that vetch was... welll stacking coins up in nice little neat animal shaped thing. She blinked looking at tilting her head. &Must've found kesin's statch.& she muttered to herself thinking of how un-happy the bird would be if any of his pretties were messed with.

She watched lenta as she paced back n' forth before shaking her head, "You keep doing that and Iris'll have to patch the floor from you wearing a hole in it, that is if you don't fall into the basement first."

Willow trailed behind LP looking around she stopped in mid step andlooked at the llama. Blinking at it she slinked over almost as she was going to use it as a hunting animal. Her tail flickered as she watched it stacking coins here and there.

Quote:
It took a minute for Lenta to comprehend what LP had said. "Eh? Oh... I'll repair it." She mumbled in response, scratching idly at one ear.

Vetch blinked. Something was wrong.... Then, he grinned. Aha! It needed eyes! He scrambled back over towards the counter, snuffling around its base for any sign of coins he could use (though he had already gathered every one that he could get his hooves on).

LP looked at lenta as she seemed to still be pacing the floor her eye started twitching slightly and she shook her head. Walking over to the girl
she clapped a hand on her shoulder. "What's bothering
you?" She quarried and with a second thought added, "Besides me."

She watched vetch looking around for some more coins she layed down two shiney gold dollars carelessly on the counter as she passed it to clap.... or rather attempt to clap lenta on the back

Willow wast still watching vetch and stalking closer to him, tail flickering waiting for the poper time to pounce. She watched as LP placed the coins which fell to the floor instead of onto the counter. Her head tilted as her tail twitched softly wondering what in the world
it was going to do.

Quote:
Lenta blinked at LP, then grinned. "Yes, LP, it's you. You're bugging the heck out of me." She said jokingly, tail wagging. Then, eyeing the coins, she chuckled.

Eureka! That was perfect! Vetch grabbed one of the coins in his mouth, then began laborously dragging it over to his coin statue.

LP let out a laugh and shook her head, "Indeed so then I'll just be leaveing." She turned to head back out the door to see what lenta would say to this.

Watching him drag the coin was horribly funny and the fact he hadnt' even noticed her was too priceless, she scurried over to the other coin quite as trea would be, or as close as a tiger can get to that, she then hid being something he couldn't see making sure her tail was out of site as well. The coin was held tightly in her tiny hands.

Quote:
"Ack!" Lenta exclaimed, then tugged comically on her ears. Her eyes widened. "C'mon, LP, I was only joking!!"

After FINALLY getting the coin into place, Vetch pranced back over to where the coin had been... Then squeaked. Where had it gone!?? It had just been there!! He needed it for the second eye - Godzilla was NOT a cyclops!!! Flailing, Vetch raced around the room, snuffling at the floor and panicking.

LP stopped and looked back at lenta and chuckled, "But you just said that I was bugging you" She chuckled and moved over to the couch to sit down. She stopped before she'd gone too far having almost stepped on Vetch who was running around in circles very distressed. She blinked and sighed before shaking her head looking around to see where willow was and what the matter was.

She stopped Godzilla with only one eye and shook her head in laughter. "Well looks like poor vetch has been out smarted."

Willow on the other hand was having a hard time not laughing, she tucked the coin inside a mini backpack LP had gotten it, it was a tight fit but it worked and with that she climbed up the wood, and hid there in the corner of the deskholding her postion as if one was watching a jackie chan movie.

Quote:
Snorting, Lenta crossed her arms over her chest. "I was kidding." She said loudly, a pouty tone to her voice.

Finally, Vetch could no longer take it. He rammed into Lenta's leg, blinking up at her with huge, pleading eyes.

"No." She said, mood switching over to amusement. "Go find the one you had before."

Bah! Owners. Useless, allllways useless

LP finally sighed and shook her head, "WILLOWWWWWW" She said looking over to where she'd last seen the tiger girl. "GET OUT HERE NOW!"

Willow reluctanlly gave up her hiding postion, as she appered she smiled sweetly and rubbed her foot into the floor, "Yes LP?"

"Fork out the coin now" LP said narrowing her eyes looking at Willow and then pointed to Vetch, "you know very well there were two there and he needs him."

Bah foiled again.... Willow sighed and brought out the coin and tossed it down on the floor and walked away from it, tail flickering irriated with her owner.

Quote:
Vetch squeaked as Willow appeared, then shuddered. Big... cat... thing... ghghghg. But she had given him back the coin! He leapt on it, nuzzling it fondly, then hauled it back over to the coin statue.

Lenta grinned. "Thanks." She murmured to LP, then shuffled over to Willow and fondly mussed her hair.

LP chuckled as she sat down on the couch. "Willow'll be mad at me for a while." She mused as she watching Vetch.

"Tch.... get you're grubby paws off me." She said staring at Lenta. Upset wasn't the word for it. LP'd Ruined her fun... AGAIN. "What's he do anyways? Spit and built things?"

Quote:
Frowning, Lenta flops down into a chair in the corner. "No... He designs clothes, too. And, well... Pretty much does whatever he wants."

Vetch placed the last coin on the statue, then grinned. He ran over to the trashcan, rummaged out a piece of gum-foil, and licked it until it was sticky. Then, he put it on his back and balanced on his back legs. Baring his teeth at the statue, he let out a bleating roar, and began grappling with it.

LP blinked watching Vetch and chuckled, "Quite and interesting boy you have there." She said with a nod and a chuckle.

Willow on the other hand plopped down on the floor watching the Llama "grapple" with the thing he'd made. "What an idiot thing to do" She muttered under her breath and took out her tarot cards setting them out in a pyrimid format. Just to see what'd come out frist

Quote:
Lenta nods. "He's a blessing... Or something." She chuckles.

Gnawing on Godzilla's coin head, Vetch growled fiercely - or at least, it SOUNDED fierce to him. To everyone else, it was a high-pitched purring noise. He started to lose his balance, and then, squealing, tumbled straight into Godzilla. It fell apart, and the coins scattered everywhere, leaving a pleased Vetch in the middle of them, with his tail wagging wildly.

LP laughed as she nodded, "Indeed he is. Such a percurious little one isn't he?" She asked watching him distory the coin monster.

Willow gasped as coins scattered everywhere and almost on her persious cards she quickly moved to save them cupping her arms around them and growling at Vetch. Yes growling, not purring... nor any sort of happy. "What you're coins will you? Thye almost messed up my cards."

Quote:
Vetch blinked, scrambling to his feet, then tilted his head at Willow. His tail slowed. What was wrong? Why was she so upset? Hadn't she seen him beat Godzilla?

Grinning, Lenta nodded again. "He's an angel and a monster, shoved into a little furry body. He'll be hell when he grows."

Willow's Growth Quest - Searching for Teen-hood
Day 1: Why's it so quite?
[Post Number: ooo62]

-It was just like any other quest really.. awakening in a room unfamilar and cold. But as Nayati stirred and saw the young 'cub' beside him he couldn't help be feel a little aggravated. This certainly wasn't his quest... so why was it that he always seemed to be dragged into other people's quests? It wasn't like he was some big hero or something. That was Sid's job... Or Erae.. Or even Toby. Sighing softly he reached over, shaking the girl softly as he carefully watched the surroundings. It didn't really seem like anything was off.. but that in itself was a little unsettling.-

-In fact it wasn't like any quest.. not great beasts to be seen. No cage keeping them. No.. this was something far more henious. Willows ghosts were gone, nothing but silence in the air.- (Simply put, for the majority of this quest Willow will be unable to talk to her ghosties, or hear them )

Beening gentally nudged, Willow's eyelids twitched befoer she woke. Looking around her pupils grew quite small, in a terrified mannor. "Wha... where are we?" She asked looking at Nayati. Atleast she wasn't deaf, she could still hear her own voice but all her friends... they were gone. This was impossible. One of the more frighitng fears, her ears tucked down and she pouted. "Where's everyone?"

-Nayati blinked a little softly, quite unsure of her question, it's not like it was very often that large groups went in. And of course, he was quite oblivious to the ghost problem- "Mmm.. I think it's a quest. So everyone else must be back at the shop or their homes.."

Willow shook her head looking around, ears still pinned down. "No, not them.... I mean my friends..." She said stnading up. "The ghosts..." She murrmurred, all the quite was making her ears hum. Her tail flickered, "It's like I'm deaf.... nothing not even a whisper..."

"O.. oh." -A look of confusion touched the unicorn and he sighed a little standing up along side her. Perhaps something was wrong with these ghosts? But he wasn't really up for alarming her.. so he glanced around softly, offering hopefully.- "Well, maybe it just has something to do with this room in particular?"

Willow stared at him ears flickering every which way. "I don't like it..." She muttered and moved over to cling to his arm, if he'd let her. "I want to go home... I don't want to be deaf to the paranormal." she scanned the room hopeful for some way out. Anything that'd let her have her friends back like things should be.

-His ears flicked forward in surprise at the soft touch, but he didn't stop her. He was used to it after all.. it was just a little weird, considering how he'd often seen the little tigeress. Alone and strong, whether anyone liked it or not. Placing a hand lightly on her arm in comfort he started to lead around the large room, looking to and fro for something.- "Well.. we just need to solve the quest.. whatever it is.. and then we should be able to go home."

-The room was plain and large, a regular human sized door resting shut against the left wall. Nothing seemingly out of the ordinary. Maybe the door wasn't even locked?-

She looked at him and nodded. This was one of the few times she didn't like being in a room. "Unless it's like something out of a horror movie?" She sniffed the air softly looking at him, "Maybe you're vines work in here?" She offered up a suggestion. Looking towards the door, "maybe we can make a rope ladder so we can climb up and see if it's locked?" She never liked being in a plain room, with no sound.

"A horror movie?" -An immediate laugh touched him, thinking back to a few of the silly movies Iris had put before them. Monsters.. zombies.. all silly rubbish. But then again.. ghosts were real? So who was to say that the monsters and zombies weren't? And with them human sized.. they'd bite off their little velvet heads before they could even fight back! A ripple of fear and anger touched Nayati's back, and a snort escaped him. They'd BETTER not do that!

Her idea brought his attention and reason back and he nodded softly, making his way towards the door, as he dug at his small pouch.- "You going up? Or shall I?"

Willow looked around, with a neverous chuckle as he seemed not to like the idea of it possibly being like a horror movie. "Ehh let's just hope it's a friendly doctor's office... or something out of alice in wonderland maybe..." She was trying to make the best of a horrible situation, and for that fact think happy thoughts.

When he started digging in his pouch she shifted looking up. "I will." She said with a nod, "After all it is my quest..." Nodding wisely she looked around the room again wondering if it might be more magic than just turning off voices. "Lets hope we just don't need a key."

-Nodding he lifted his hand from her, pulling out a few more seeds then were really necessary.. just to be safe. And slowly the vines began to grow, twisting foward until one looped around each of Willow's arms, lifting her enough to form a small platform beneath her, that slowly began to rise. It must have been a weird sensation really.. but Nayati never thought about it, quite content with the plants and vines creeping around him like some strange snakes.

He watched softly as they lifted her up towards the door knob, eyes carefully inspecting for any sign the the vines might snap.-

Willow giggled as they wrapped around her, they rather feel like they were tickling her. Waiting as if she was waiting on a normal elevator to rise she flickered her tail softly and hummed a few bars of a song that'd just popped into her head. Which seemed to ease the pain of not being able to hear her friends.

Once the vines reached the doorknob she promptly started to turn it as if to open the door. Hoping it wasn't locked at all.

-The door infact wasn't locked and the knob turned easily within her hands.-

Willow looking shocked at the door as it turned easily and tried to push [I hope you push the door to open it xD] it open. "Hey Nayati give me a hand would you? It's unlocked!" She called down looking at him. Hoping that he could help and the vines not founder

-That was a bit more of a push, and he faltered for a moment, before putting his should against the door, shoving. Keeping his attention on the two things was difficult.. but opening a door wasn't a difficult task, so the door swang softly open, and the vines only wobbled a little. The sounds of crickets could be heard, and the soft smell of grass wafted into the room.- "Ready to come down?"

Willow gleed as the easliy pushed open. She looked down at Nayati, "If you wouldn't mind letting me down that'd be great." She said with a giggle, This was actully kind of fun. Still would've been better had the room not took her by such surprise with yanking the ghosts away from her.

She started humming a few bars of the song she had stuck in her head again, ears twitching towards the sounds of the crickets. "How funny..." She mused

-Unfortunately.. it appeared not to be the room that stole the ghost.. as she'd soon find them still silent when they walked outdoors.

Nayati smiled though, making the vines retract at a quick, but not jarring pace, settling Willow softly to the ground, before the vines dissapeared completely back into the seeds they'd come from. Tail flicking softly he motioned forward.- "Out we go then. It sounds alot more pleasant out there then in this nasty old room."

Willow nodded her ears twitched and sighed... "Still quite as can be." She muttered... thus making for a very unhappy Willow but it was much more nicer out here. She sniffed the air looking around and lofted a brow. "It is nicer... but still would be better with the singing and chatter that I'm use to hearing."

She whispered rather almost inaudibly we must be swift as as the coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon.... apperently she had either watched mulan last night or the song just popped into her head either way it seemed to ease her nerves.

-Mildly unnerved with the chatter that kept irrupting from the young one, he couldn't help be feel a bit of pity for her situation. So he decided to ignore her strange behavior, instead offering a softly apologetic glance.- "Then it would be my guess.. that you're meant to do this quest without them.. and to rely on yourself."

"Or..." -He paused.. uncertain if he even wanted to offer the other idea in fear of putting the young on into a frantic state.- "Or maybe you need to save them from something?"

Her ears twitched softly wrinkling her nose. "Eheh.... That's rather silly...." she paused, "but not impractical..." She hadn't thought about either of the suggestions before, but now offered to her they seemed likely. She looked around and looked to the ground. "But which way to go?" There were so many options.

She wraped her arm around his softly, looking up into his eyes, "You don't mind... I mean you wouldn't mind if I held onto you're arm so we dont' get lost from each other would you?" She paused and then added, "It's not like I'm scared or anything... incase that's why you think I'm asking." Her tail flickered and there was that puppy dog look in her eyes.

-A soft smirk touched his muzzle for a moment, but he nodded softly letting her arm settle about his. He wouldn't tease her about it, knowing he himself would likely be just as upset if he were 'abandoned' during his quest. But he did offer a bit of a joke, trying to lighten the mood.- "Of course you aren't. But it's a good idea to hold on. Better then me making you a leash."

-He winked a little, a soft nicker settling in his throat before he thought about her first statement.- "Hrmmm.. I'm not actually certain what we should be looking for? So.. I guess it'd just be best if you pick which way you'd like to go. I'm sure we'll run into whatever it is we're looking for eventually."

Her tail flickered as he said something about a leash. "I dont' think i'd object much to a leash... LP's theratened me with one before, o'crouse she'd get her arm ripped apart." Willow wiggled her fingers with their sharp nails. "But you..." She shurged softly with a dramatic pause, "I'd let you live."

With a soft wink and then a rubbing of her chin she looked to around before deciding stright ahead would be their best bet. Not like there was any sort of sign or anything... but she thought stright ahead would be best. "Comeon then let's just walk forward and maybe we'll run into a sign post, or a mad cat to give directions... for that matter maybe we'll run into the yellow brick road that leads to Oz." She grinned as she nodded seemingly happy with her decision.... for now.

"Ah huh" -Her quirked a brow lightly at the sentiment, not sure whether to be more amused by the approval, or weirded out by the fact that she wouldn't mind it. Silly little girls.-

"I can only hope it'd be something as unthreatening as all that." -Nodding softly, he began to slowly walk in her choosen direction, looking around for anything that might be helpful. But as of yet, all he saw were trees, grass, and wilderness as far as the eye could see.-

Willow on the other hand was looking for something that would be a bit harder to find. Hunting for the appirations known as ghosts would be more like it. Her eyes carefully scanning every which way she could find down to every last rock. "They've got to be here somewhere..." She stated as if she believed they were playing hide and seek. A tuanting and horrible game of it. She paused, was that a rustle or the wind.... or maybe she was just concentrating too hard on what she wanted to find. Ears flickering to and for listening to the crickets she stopped suddenly. "What if we find a cricket? Maybe it could help us. I mean after all listen to them sing out for rain." She turned her head tilted at Nayati to see what he thought of the idea.

-He drew his attention away from the surroundings down to the young one beside him. Tail twitching softly back and forth as she spoke.- "Hmm? Yeah, that could probably work, as long as they'll talk to us. I'm sure they know this place pretty well"

She nodded turning her ears towards their sounds and listening only to that looking around as she followed her ears. They seemed to be every where and it was blending into each other as they chirped. She closed her eyes and let herself center before listening again to their song and to try and pin point one of them.

Should they go back or foward, left or right, she was trying to pin a way she thought they ought to go. "so hard to choose..." she said in a quite mannor.

"They shouldn't be too hard to find with all of them around." -Flicking his ears forward he listened as she did, spotting one in the near distance before he tugged her hand, pulling her after her perhaps a bit to quickly, as he yelped out.- "Hey! Mr Cricket? Can you help us?"

"What, what, what do you want *chirp*"

Willow epped as she was beeing pulled and started running after him. "Ohhh so he's the closest one" She giggled as she finally was able to stop. She stooped down placing her front paws/hands on the ground looking at him.

"Mr. Cricket we need some help. See I'm on a quest and all my ghost friends are gone, it's like I've gone deaf to them. We were wonding if you could help us find them" Her tail flickered in and ears were perked up hopefully.

-The cricket seemed rather indifferent to the plight, giving a nervous look to the small cat.- "Ghost friends? Look, look, look in the graveyard then kitty. They live there yes?"

Willow looked at him and shook her head, "Not typically the ones I've met live any sorts of places, all over. They're free spirited." She paused looking at him thinking, "But that is a good place to start, can you tell us where it is Mr. Cricket?" She quarried.

"I've seen them yes. At the graveyard. Weird lights. Voices. Don't like, don't like." -Rubbing his legs together lightly he looked towards the forest.- "Through forest. Day's hop away. Don't like. Don't want to be near." -And with that he was gone, hopping off before the kittten could make a snack of him.-

"Thank you Mr. Cricket" She called after him as he hopped off. She sighed sitting down, looking the way the Cricket had looked with a sigh. "Well I do hope it's easy to find."

The idea of a cricket not liking it didn't seem promising but then again... nothing was ever what it quite seemed to be. "So shall we be off towards the graveyard then?" This was quite different from her last quest inside the circus.

-Nayati had watched the whole exchange in soft silence, but when Willow spoke, he nodded softly, offering his hand down towards her to help her up.- "Well, once we find the edge of the forest we can follow it until we find what we're looking for."

-In his mind he was wondering, working out a plot. It'd be so much easier if he could use his vines.. creep up past the trees and point them in the right direction. But the trees were SO high. Could he even make a vine that high.. that strong? Another thought hitting him, he sighed a little softly.- "We should probably hurry.. that cricket can hop further then we can step.. so if it's a day's hop for him.. it's probably even longer for us.."

Willow looked at him and nodded, looking up at the trees. "Maybe one of the trees is high enough to get a baring on which way we should go when we reach the forest edge?" She offered as she took his helping hand in her own. "I could climb one of the trees and see which way we need to go." She was a good climber and as soon as she was up she took his arm again and set off for the long journay. "Wish we had a picnic lunch for later." She said with a chuckle.

Sure it most likely wasn't even lunch time but that didn't really matter because either way questing made her hungry

-He nodded swiftly with her plan, it was a good one.. use the trees to help him make his way up. But he'd do it himself.. last thing he needed was to get the little one killed. Iris would MURDER him if/when he got back. Glancing to the slowly darkening sky however, he set it aside for tommorow, they wouldn't be able to see much of anything anyway tonight. They probably only had another hour or two of sunlight.

His own stomach grumbled a little at her mention of food, and he nodded softly.- "Maybe we'll be able to find something along the way?"

Her tail flickered looking at him as he seemed to ponder of the idea of her climbing the trees herself. Infact he seemed to ponder it too long... she didnt' like it either, she'd just have to sneak off before he woke to see where they were going. Her tail flickered as she quitely mused to herself about the idea.

"I do hope so... althought I'd say you oculd grow something but fruit and vegies aren't my fortaye." Her tail twitched as she looked around. "Maybe a nice juicey rabbit and then we could cook it and save the meet for meals in the morning.

-He nodded a little softly. He wasn't really worried about himself either. They were in a forest after all. But for her.. he hoped her mom had taught her to hunt.. Motioning softly he began to lead her along.- "Mmm.. we're probably going to have to stop for the night and sleep so we don't get lost in the jungle either.."

Willow's tail flickered as she shrugged. "I don't think we can get too lost. I can see pretty well in the dark... as long as it'sn ot pitch black. But sleeping does sound like a good idea so we'll have engery for the morning, unless it gets too hot durning mid-day." She said making note of how hot it'd get back home. "Then we might be better off traveling at night. I guess we'll have to wait and see."

Her ear twitched as she heard something rustle. Moving her ears towards the sound wondering if it was friend or food. Sniffing the air she tilted her head, figuring she'd wait till closer to night, that's when she'd find some nice plump mice.

"Hmmm... very true." -He fell silent, this thoughts drifting away softly. Why in the world wasn't there atleast one parent here? Couldn't these things get awfully dangerous? Eyes settling on the the young tiger again he asked lightly.- "So these ghosts.. How many are there?"

Her tail flickered in thought, of a nice plump mouse but soon it faded when he started talking again. "Oh how many? Well it's hard to be sure every lost soul has a voice wanting to be helped. I know two personally and they both love me to death and said they wouldn't ever leave me though." She frowned slightly as she looked towards the tops of the trees.

"And they're... always around?" -That'd be kind of weird.. knowing someone was always around.. when you were getting undressed.. when you wanted to be alone.. His tail twitched softly watching their surroundings.- "So what are their names? These two?"

She paused and giggled, "Of crouse they are, ghosts are always around, looking for people that can hear them to help. I'm sure you have some around you're place too." She grined, "One I always call teacher because I can't say his name, the other is a very nice girl. I think she said her name was Becky, but she always wants me to call her Bee." She smiled, "They're really the only friends I have besides the velvets and LP and the humans that come around the shop.

"I wonder if they get as troublesome as siblings" -He muttered the words softly under his breath, thinking back to the many animals and creatures that made up his home and 'family'. In his opinion it would have been NICE to lose the ghosts/siblings.. but he wasn't going to say that aloud, since it was obvious she felt differently. Turning his eyes towards the trees, he pondered softly.- "What was your last quest like?"

Willow's tail flickered she'd heard him saying something but couldn't understand what he had said. "What'd you say Nayati?" She questioned him trying to see if she could get him to repet the wonderment.

Her tail flickered as she thought about the last quest. "It was actully quite fun, me and Trea were put into a fun house with all kinds of mirrors. LP and yume happened to be there too. But ya see me and trea didn't know that, and there was this loud circus music there too, so we knew we were inside some sort of carnival." She paused recalling details, "We ran into this list ghost girl that lived in the mirrors and asked her how to get out of the place, so we followed her for a while. And then we heard glass shatter and LP and Yume screaming." Twitching her ears she nodded softly as again she paused. Looking at nayati, "We had to convince the girl to help us save LP and Yume and apperently whatever was after them was the ghost's brother." She sighed, "I haven't seen her since... she was so nice."

"We that certainly sound interesting. A little dangerous though" -That was a bad sign really... if she'd been trusted with a dangerous quest before it was more then likely that this one could be dangerous too, and subconciously his hand settled over the tiger girls arm. It was likely she was supposed to do this herself.. but if they were to get seperated.. and something happened to her..

His eyes drifted softly to the slow flashes of fireflies beginning to touch the darkening sky, shivering a little suddenly as a wind whipped up from behind. That'd teach him to walk around in nothing but a loincloth.-

Willow shurged, "It was quite fun, dangerous for LP and Yume, but we didn't run into much of any danger besides the glass." She grinned.

She looked at him as he shivered and wrapped her tail around his back. "It's not much but atleast it's a little warmer than just that loincloth." She said looking at him, "You can put you're arm around me too and hold me closer if that'd help keep you warm." In her eyes there was a soft worried look that he might catch cold. She made a note that if she found something that would work for him as a jacket she'd need to grab it up, even if it was rabbit skin or something, might not have time to cure properly but it'd be better than nothing.

-He didn't object to the tail, offering a half smile in fact, but the offer was a bit too much. He wasn't really sure WHY it seemed so akward.. whether it was because one so much younger and smaller was taking care of him. Or because he wasn't used to affection from those not of his family. Either way he laughed it off a little, replying simply.- "I'm fine for now. But I do think that it would be best if we eat and sleep tonight, and pick up again in the morning."

-And with that his eyes began to search as they walked, looking for wildberries or other tastey treats that might litter the path they walked.-

She chuckled softly and nodded, "I can always try and build a fire... I've seen them do it on TV. It'd keep you warm atleast." Truth was she wasn't really worried about herself. After all her fur was much thicker than his.

She nodded looking at the base of a tree that had a hole in it, "That might be a nice place to bed down if it's large enough, what do you think??" She asked as she listened for the patter of feet from mice and rabbits.

"A fire would be pretty nice..." -He trailed softly, thinking of the small flickering flames.- "Of course then one of us would have to stay up and watch it. But then.. I guess I could. You're going to need your strength whenever we find what it is we're looking for."

"You want to stop soon? Dig up some food?"

Willow's tail flickered as she giggled at silly nayati. "I'm use to staying up until the moon's high in the sky." She grined" So we could take turns watching it." She looked at his tail, "Though I hate to say it I might have to borrow some hair from you're tail, just a peice.... to use for the string to start the fire."

She shurged, "Better to stop when we find someplace that looks like it'd be well enough littered with food than stopping in a place that isn't." She said, she could smell something a little ways off the path they were taken, she wasn't sure what it was just yet, hopefully it was a mouse, but it smelled good.

"Just because you're used to it, doesn't mean you should." -He teased softly. Living with Iris and being 'one' with the plants he knew the joy of early mornings. Nights were for sleeping.-

-His tail twitched subconcicously to his side, and his mind snapped 'use your own hair!' back at the little one. But after a moment of biting his lip he gave his tail a soft twitch, before nodding reluctantly.- "Alright, if we can't find any dry grass we can use a bit."

-Nodding softly at her sentiment, he yawned, more out of boredom then tiredness. After all.. so far this quest had been.. uneventful to say the least.- "I'll let you choose where we stay then, because I can find food almost anywhere."

Shurging softly she nodded, "True, but sometimes it's more important than others." She stated mater of factly. "Just like now it's important." She flickered her tail.

She shook her head and giggled at him, "I'd only need one... to get the fire started... they use string to make a bow on TV, and wrap the string around the stick and rub them together to get the fire going..." She looked at him, "It's either that or find flint... and I don't think we'd be that lucky."

Nodding softly she paused looking up and around, "Here looks like a nice place to stopp actully." She could smell the animals around them that were small enough for her to make a decent meal out of without getting trampled. "Besides I think we can find some nice rocks here and dry leaves and grasses..."

"How very clever..." -He drawled some, obviously impressed by her vast knowledge. And as she mentioned stopping he let his hand and arm slip from her, taking his tail in one hand, before plucking a hair out with a soft grate of his teeth. Handing it lightly in her direction he turned his attention to bedding. He might as well make himself mildly useful, if she was caring for the fire.-

Willow place the peice of hair in her mouth for now, while it might've been a very unplesant thing to do, it was about the only choice she had til she found everything she needed, moving to find rocks she'd roll them around their soon to be small campsite into a circle large enough for a roasting fire; for she hated uncooked meat -what since LP tried to feed it to her; which would also serve in keeping them warm.

Aftering having a nice size fire pit she started gathering up dry leaves, twigs and grasses, Setting the three largest sticks and two medium ones to the side while she set up a little nest like thing to start the fire in. She looked at it trying to think if there was anything else needed.

Once she'd taken care of that she took out the peice of hair and started stringing it to one of the medium sized stickes, "Ohhh Nayati..." She said as she was working at the task making sure the hair would wrap around the other stick. "Can you do me a favor when you get done there and see if you can rustle up some dirt or mud for the fire, so we can put it out quickly if we need to?"

-Nayati wandered around softly for a few long moment, peering here and there until he found what he wanted. Just about a foot or so from where the small fire would soon be roaring, he placed his fingers on the velvety leaves of the weed, watching as it grew larger and larger, big enough to cradle the two of them comfortably.

Ears twitching softly as she spoke, he nodded silently, lifting himself from the ground to head nearer to one of the trees, carefully scooping dirt from the area near it's base. Using his loincloth as a carrier, he filled as much as he could manage before making his way back towards the fire, spilling the contents into a smile pile alongside the rocks.-

She watched him for a second before she started to attempt to make the fire. She hoped this worked as well as it did in the movies. When the dirt was piled beside of the rocks she smiled, "Thank you." Was all she simply stated as she went to vigarously[sp?] rubbing the sticks, the hair causing the one to twirl in place as she'd seen before in the movies.

Her tail flickered, she'd never mention she'd never tried this before to nayati because she knew one way or another she'd get it started. Blowing gentally on the stick she thought she saw the leaves and things starting to glitter red. "Ohh boy it works," She said completely forgetting she'd told herself not to say that aloud.

-He tried to hide the little bit of a laugh that touched his throat, letting it fade into a soft nicker before he once again headed off. One of the nice things about being so small was that very little food sustained you.. so all he really needed to find was a berry or two.. maybe dig up a little root, and he'd be good for tonight AND the morning.

The root was easy enough, quickly spotting a few edible species, before hunting out a young one with likely shallow roots. Sitting, he slowly began to dig, tail twitching ever so softly behind him. It was rather like he was back home in his garden.-

Willow watched the fire blowing softly on it still to try to get it glowing when it acted as if it wanted to go out. "Oh no you dont..." She said shoving some more leaves and sticks in until it caught a small flame... "If I'd have any of that rum with me LP was sipping a while back we'd be in good shape with the fire."

Yes she'd even watched a movie on pirates where they threw the rum into a fire and it started blazing, so of crouse she had to try it. Almost burnt a few whiskers off that time but now it'd been handy to have. She tended the fire until it was nice and large and lit up the place a bit before moving to find Natayi, hopeing he'd not wondered too far from the campsite. She wanted to tell him she was going to go hunting for some food. She held a stick in her hand one end she was fashing so it'd be nice and sharp. Which takes a bit when one is widdleing with a rock and claws. But she did want to make sure he knew if she'd did dissaper for a bit he'd known where she went too.

-When finally roots came into sight from under the cool dirt he began to pull and tug until finally a long piece snapped. Covering the area once again with dirt he'd stood and was beginning to look for berries when he saw the fire and Willow in the distance, calling out lightly.- "Nice work."

Willow grinned as she nodded, "Thanks." she paused and looked around, "I'm going to go hunting do you mind keeping an eye on the fire while I do?" She was having a tick bit of trouble getting the point sharp enough but she kenw if she kept at it, she'd have a nice sharp point and she could hit whatever she caught in the jugular vain. While it slightly make her sick to think about killing a mouse or a rabbit, she had to remind herself they weren't velveteens, and hopefully weren't able to talk.

-He wasn't too keen on her wnadering around with a weapon as young as she was.. but he was even less keen on watching her kill some animal. So he nodded softly.- "Yeah, I'll watch it. Hurry back alright."

She nodded softly, "I will.... atleast I've watched LP enough to know how to use one of these blasted things." She probably hated it as much for the animal as nayati did, but she had to eat.... right?

She slunk off once the spear was done and moved towards the sent of a nice plump mouse. When she was in close range of it she dropped to her knees to peer out of her hiding spot in the darkness. Her tail flickered as she watched the mouse cleaning it's wiskers after a meal, before getting down on all fours crawling qitely towards the certure.

She paused and shook her head, Never mention this to Trea.... she thought to herself. She didn't want to offend any friends, espically Trea.

She held the spear in one paw taking aim when she was close enough and, whoosh; she let it fly.

-Nayati meandered around the fire, staying near enough to tend to it as he looked for some berries, finally finding a few hidden before he made his way back. He couldn't really wash the stuff.. but a little dirt never killed anyone. Setting them aside he lounged back in the soft leaf bedding, ears perked for sounds of Willow.-

Willow had just heard the mouse squeal... ack there went her hunger. Oh well, it'll save for later as she looked at the lifeless mouse. Most others would play with them before they killed them but willow, having known a mouse personally wasn't in the mood to torture her food... she drug it back to the camp and sat out of site of Nayati and began to skin and gut the poor mouse. She frowned as she took time to rip off the head so it wouldn't be staring at her, for she couldn't take such a sad site.

-Nayati was lucky that his favorite foods were.. well inatimate. And as soon as he heard Willow's return he began to nibble softly at his small stash.-

Once everything was cleaned on the mouse she took it over and started to set up the sticks she'd choosen to be a rotistery. Her tail flickered watching nayati eat the berries. "Must be nice not to have to hear things like that squeak and squeal..." She muttered under her breath as she struggled slightly to put the mouse on the stick she'd grabbed to roast it on, onto the two larger sticks she had planted firmly in the ground. She tossed another stick or two onto the fire and then went over to sit by nayati. "There's a couple of sticks prefect for cooking some of those if you'd like them warmed up." She said pointing to the small pile.

"Warmed?" -He cocked his head softly at the strange notion. Iris prefered her fruit raw.. so he'd never actually tasted them cooked before. He nodded softly, sypathtically at her gripe however, scooting over to make more room for her as he began to chew on the switch of root.-

She shurged softly her tail flickered as she watched the crackling fire. "It was just a notion, I know LP likes to heat up marshmellows and things. I'll take a peice of toast and heat it up like that every know and then." She always found it fun to try things and she wished she could eat berries but last time she tried it make her sick and that wasn't a plesant feeling.

She yawned softly as she scooted over a bit leaving enough room for Nayati to have his space in the bed he fashioned. "I wonder if LP and Iris has noticed we're missing yet..."

"Oh I can assure you that Iris is having an absolute fit." -It might have seemed as if she was always airheaded... never really paying attention, but she had an uncanny knack for sniffing out trouble. And there had been more then one occassion where she'd blown a gasket worrying to death at the sudden dissapearance of some pet or another.

Settling his food to the side, he yawn lightly, before leaning back with his head rested in his arms.- "I'm more curious about how long we're going to be gone..."

Willow flickered her tail as she got up to turn the mouse nodding softly, "I don't think LP worries too much because she knows I go to the velveteen shop alot, but if i'ts more than a few hours...." Willw drug her finger across her neck. "There'll be no living with her for a while..."

Her tail flickered as she looked around, "Ehh hopefully it'll only be tonight and tomorrow we'll find the ghosts and can go home." She always did have a positive outlook on things. She sat there beside the fire holding the mouse to cook on that side for a while before starting to turn it by hand much like what they'd do at a hawanii cookout. Again having seen it on TV. That's what you get for watching the travel channel and everything else you can find.

"Mmm.. I can't imagine she could be too mad at you.. after all, it's not like you chose to come here." -He watched the sky softly, trying to peek at the stars through the leafy canopy.- "Anyway, we'll get up nice and early and hopefully we will be home soon."

Nodding softly she murred as she poked at the meat with her claw. "I hope this'll be done in a little bit... I'm not thrilled about eating it after it squealed... but I'll need something." She patted her tummy which grumbled...

Nodding, "Yes and early start tomorrow sounds great." Her tail flickered as she looked at the canopy, "Lets just hope it doesn't rain." She added with a giggle.

-He offered a faint smile, he himself being something of a prey animal.- "You have to do what you have to do. It's sad, but it's just the way life is."

-Nodding gently to her sentiment he attempted to stay awake despite the sleep tugging at him.-

Looking back towards nayati she nodded, "Indeed, but I just don't like having to kill something..." Her ears flickered here and there.

Grinning at him she chuckled, "Why don't you take a nap? I'll wake you up in a little bit and then you can watch the fire, or I can put it out once my food's done and you can snuggle up to me and we sleep like that until daybreak or there about." She flickered her tail as she watched him trying to stay awake for the sake of doing so.

"Mmmmm..." -He faltered softly.. part of him wanting to give in.. while part of him told him as the older party he should be the one taking care of her.

And then she said it, and he shut his eyes with a heavy sigh. Of course it was going to happen.. the leaf was only so big.. and in the cold weather.. but did she REALLY have to say it like that?- "I'll stay up a little longer. But it proably would be best if we put it out before we went to bed."

Watching him her head tilted as she poked the food again finally satified with it, and with as little blood possible running out of the hole she poked into it with her claw she ripped off a chunk and chewed on peices of it.

She waited until she got her mouth unfull, she could tell she said something a bit more suggestive than it ment to be... "I mean..." She blushed... That was a rather hard one to fix and nothing, nothing on TV ever showed how to fix that one. "I... I... can I find you a blanket?" She muttered out trying to make the best of what she'd said wrong. Living with LP things came out strange sometimes... it was a bad habbit she'd picked up on.

"Nah, don't worry about it." -He was a typical boy. Just ignore the problem.-

Her tail flickered as she paused, well that was a better answer than she expected. Taking another couple of bites from the meat she twitched her tail watching him with curious eyes.

-He dozed softly, despite her inspection, though like any good prey animal his ears listened intently for the faintest noise. Body slumping gently, the tiniest hint of a snore touched the air as he slipped off.-

She murred as she watched him sleeping, she finished up the meat she held in her paws and then slipped off for a second to scurry up a tree as quitely as possible. She wanted to get barings before he woke up and now was the best time. she'd put the fire out once she was finished because it was already dwindling.

While she was up in the tree she was grabbing some leaves to wrap up some mouse in for a snack. Wondering if she'd find any bird eggs while she was at it.

-Despite the cold that was beginning to overtake his ivory body, he didn't curl, his body seemingly too tired for action, instead remaining sprawled in almost a comic fashion.-

Sitting there on a branch she found the trees were much too thick to do any decent screaching. So instead, finding a couple of brid eggs she grabbed two and placed them temperarily into her shirt and slid down the tree landing quite softly and moved to wrap everything up and hide it quite well so nothing would follow the sent off the food.

Once that'd been done and the carcass of the mouse dragged a good ways away and dumped she put out what was left of the fire and crawled over to the leaf where nayati slept watching him her head cocked.

-Yawning again, obviously not entirely awake at all, he offered his arm lightly on to her to use as a pillow.- "Night then."

Willow murred and cuddled up to nayati as if he was a teddy bear. For one of two reasons, one being she knew he'd be cold and the other because he had offer his arm as a pillow. She stiffled a yawn and closed her eyes, "Night." He was about as comfortible as LP, willow remembered having sunk into LP's room one nice and climbing up onto the bed and sleeping with her "owner" because she was having a hard time getting to sleep.

-Letting his arm loop gently around her, he drifted back off to sleep, taking comfort in the soft warmth beside him as the cool night swallowed them. The hours drifted by with the two sleeping and nothing miraculously bothered them.. even the soft bit of magic that occured sometime in the night.

Willow's Growth Quest - Searching for Teen-hood
Day 2: Rude Awakings
[Post Number: ooo63]

When the first hint of light began to touch the sky Nayati's eyes opened, a wide yawn escaping him. As his eyes adjusted and he glanced down to Willow he nearly jolted, having to try hard not to yelp, or have a heart attack at the less the settle change. Apparently some point in the night all cuddled up next to him 'little' Willow had grown, and now in her place lay a creature nearly as tall as him, lean and lovely, slim fingertips and face resting against his chest. A fire of nervousness touched him, not unlike that he'd felt watching Acia during her show of acrobatics, and quickly he shut his eyes, as if trying to will it away. He wouldn't wake her no... instead he lay trying not to move as his heart nearly beat out of his chest.-

Hearing the pace in his heart beat change she stirredmuttering softly, "S'matter?" She of crouse didn't open her eyes but they flickered as she nuzzled into his chest softly.

-At the nuzzle his eyes opened wearily, looking at her once more as if to make sure he hadn't been dreaming.- "N.. nothing. Are you still tired?"

She yawned softly, "a bit.. but once I wake up fully I'll be.... -stiffling a yawn- ...fine" her tail twitched as she laid there tryingto will herself to wake up. Had she noticed the change she might've been as freaked out as nayati was, but yet she was to groggy to notice.

-He nodded some, but laid silent for a long time, seeming almost afraid to move. It was weird.. so weird.. that with all Iris affection that she'd raise someone so shy. But at the same note.. he'd never heard any other velvet talk about that soft tickle of strange emotion.. So maybe it was just him. Iris had never mentioned it either.

Eyes flicking down to the tigeress once again, he watched her slowly as she began to the slow process to waking up, words finally coming, clumsy as they may be.- "You.. look nice Willow." -That was what Iris liked to hear. So maybe it was something girls expected to hear.-

Willow's eyes flickered again and softly opened looking at him about to call him silly when she noticed the white on her fingers matched that of his skin. Her ears flickered back and forth as she looked herself over and then blushed having relized what happened. "Th..thank you."

There was an embarssed grin as her tail flickered up to her face to hide what was already hidden behind that white fur. This was quite a interesting wake up call.

-Taking that as a hint, he shifted away from her lightly, carefully unpinning his arm before he crept off of the leaf, streching his arms far above him, as a soft groan escaped him. Heading over to the firepit he knealed softly beside it, finding it a heck of alot easier to talk to her without seeing her.- "Are you going to need the fire again?"

Looking at herself softly she strighten her shirt as she flicked her tail. Looking at him she shook her head, "Not unless you'd like some scrambled eggs." She offered, "I found a few laying around last night while I was cleaning up." It wasn't a total white lie but she figured if he knew where she got them at he'd be slightly mad.

The blush was still there as she watched him. "Otherwiase the meat is already cooked and bundled up for the most part. Well... atleast what I'll be eating." Wow, this was strange. She was only a few inches shorter than him but she couldn't stop thinking about what iris would've done had she seen them like that...

"Laying huh?" -He didn't believe that for a second. Because more then likely if they were 'laying' anywhere other then a tree they'd have already been scrambled. But he didn't fight it, not really in the mood this morning, he had enough on his mind.

Lifting himself from the pit he walked back over to his own food, making a concious effort not to sneak a glance back at the girl now that she was streched out. He felt like a lecher for crying out loud.. and that was enough to turn his mood even more sour.- "Maybe some other time."

-Falling silent he began to brush at the dirt that still clung to part of his root.-

Willow looked at him innoccently with a big puppy dog eyed look. "What's the matter?" She asked, althought that might not have been the best question to start off with. She got up moving over to the tree where she'd hidden the food and brushed off the leaves she'd stashed it in dragging it back to the "bed" so to speak. She took a claw and cracked the top of the egg just enough to have a hole to drink the yolk and stuff out of. Looking to see that it hadn't started growing yet.

She made a slight face as she did this for it was afterall raw, but she drank the yolk every once in a while to keep her coat shiny and healthy. Licking the remains that dripped from her wiskers she carefully unwrapped a peice of the meat and chew on a small chunk of it, one it left her mouth she murred looking around. "We should get started soon I suppose."

-Sighing a little softly, he began to nibble at the root as a rabbit would a carrot, his mind finally leaving to once again think about important things.. like the quest ahead. He was amazed how well she was doing without the ghosts once they'd gotten past the first inital bit of time. Tail twitching softly, he sighed.- "Nothing, don't worry about it."

"We should head out soon. I'm sure you're not particularly keen on spending another night out here."

Tilting her head with a little shake as if to say, boys... I know something's wrong why won't he say anything. She shurged and murrmurred, "If you insisit."

She finished up the last of her breakfast and looked around for some sort of rope so she could fasten the rest of the meat to it, "You want to toss some berries in here for incase you get hungry again?" She questioned avoiding the statement he'd made. She'd slightly forgotten for the time being she was ghostless, or rather pushed it to the back of her mind. She instead had been worrying over Nayati and such. Shaking her pants legs she shifted waiting on him.

-Hmmm.. that wasn't a bad idea at all. He didn't have much food left.. but you never knew how long they'd be out here, and when he might want that one last berry.

Nodding softly, he turned, trying his hardest not to act like the freak he know he was being, and handed his remaining black berry towards Willow.- "Sure, it couldn't hurt to bring extra. I can carry the stuff though."

Willow's tail flickered softly as she watched him tilting her head. She was still slightly worried over how he was acting but she'd deal with that a bit later.

Taking the black berry she placed it comfortiablly with the rest of the food she had. Tail flickering, "Here let me borrow a vine frist. It'll make it easier to carry it if we tie it onto the stick." She'd seen countless mentions of bindles and how useful they seemed so now was as good of time as any to try it. "After that we can get moving." She added with a stren nod.

"Okay then." -Taking the pack he slipped the stick up so it rested upon his shoulder, helping keep the weight balanced and light. And amusing enough, 'the bum pack' looked fairly fitted on him today, as somehow in the past day he'd managed to catch a snag in his loincloth, and his white was beginning to gain patches of brown. But it went unnoticed to him, and he glanced around softly.- "We should probably find a clearing before we try to climb up and see where things are. So which way would you like to go until then?"

Willow was looking at the way they'd come so far and which way the moss was growin on the tree. "Welll I assume we should head north. I think that's the way we were headed to start with." She pointed back to where they'd come from with the snapped twig here and there. "Hopefully we'll find a clearning and maybe a pond or something to bathe in...." She paused ofr a second thinking... "I mean if we really need it."

Her tail flickered as she looked at him moving towards the north... pausing to wait for him. "Soo... umm, I follow you... or how'd you like to do it?" She asked not sure if he was comfortible with the hold hands deal since she'd grown and him having been trying to avoid looking at her.

-He followed her eyes to the moss, catching her logic before he nodded in soft agreement. As her embarrassing questions continued to pour on however that soft flush touched his cheeks again, and he fidgeted a little uncomfortably.- "You can walk wherever you want, as long as you stay in sight." -Reguardless to her growth she was still 'little Willow', and nothing had changed his duty to watch over her as they made their way, hopefully home. Stepping up alongside her, and then past her he meandered softly, waiting for her to pick a comfortable pace, before he called back matter of factly.- "You don't really look like you need a bath. Unless you really want one."

A soft chuckled touched her maw as she shook her head, "No but you might... You're lovely pelt is all dingy." She blinked, she'd said that outloud... She twiddled her tumbs as she walked softly behind him. She seemed that this was getting more awakard by the minute.

She sniffed around looking for someone to toss them a few dircetions, maybe a rabbit... Atleast they might get more out of a rabbit in if they were going the right way than the cricket they'd previously asked.

-Glancing down at his arms lightly he finally took notice of the dirt that had sanded his hue nearly up his his elbows.. and the soft splashes that touched his chest, and legs at that. Smirking a little, he mused actually, a little nicker resting on his throat.- "I'm like a plant dear, I don't mind a little dirt. So unless it's bothering you, I'll be fine."

-For the early morning, the forest was awfully still, most of the movement birds up in the canopy starting out the day. However, if they looked hard enough they might be able to find another creature.-

She flickered her tail as she moved up closer behind him taking a paw and gentally brushing some of the dirt from his shoulders as they walked and sighed, "No it doesn't bother me. I just think you look better all nice and cleaned up." Her tail flickered softly as she tilted her head.

She lofted a brow looking around for a creature to ask, "I wonder if we can get a bit better set of dircetions from someone." Her hand moved to her chin as she looked around, "Think we might find someone that will be willing to show us the way or atleast tell us if we're heading the right direction to find the graveyard?" Of crouse she was starting to worry about if she'd ever be able to hear her friend's again. They needed someone that could help them pass on.

"Mmm" -A simple msaculine grunting sound of recognition was the only answer she got to her comment, as his tail began to twitch back and forth at the thought. She liked clean? Personally he liked color, hence why sometimes he'd sit around and gently apply paints to his clean pallate, debating new markings he wish would appear as they often seemed to with each growth.

Brushing back a few loose strands of hair lightly, he nodded to her question. Despite all the sleep he was feeling awfully drained. He supposed it had to be mental.. emotional. And his words were becoming far and between.- "There are some early morning animals, it shouldn't be too hard to find them feeding."

She blinked looking at him, head tilted. She slightly wrinkled her nose as he grunted. "Well if you like to be dirty and have all you're tattoo's covered up, I guess that's you're basket of bees." She murfed.

She paused suddenly tilting her head looking over towards a tree, "Mmm yes, I thought I might've just saw something move..." She muttered watching for a second to see if her eyes were playing tricks.

"You're right. It is MY business" -The cold snap escaped him before he could stop it, and just as quickly he felt bad for it. Crabbiness was a bad habit of his from time to time, and it seemed the stress that should have been hers was creeping onto him.

Before he could apologize a loud croak errupted from the bushes, a soft rustle of leaves joining the noise.-

Willow looked at him her ears fell down and she muttered, "sorry... I'll be quite the rest of the way." Rubbing her arm as her tail stayed motionless.

Looking over to the croak she gave a half smile and moved over to the bush. "Excuse me, but we need a bit of help..." She said softly towards the bush not wanting to call the one that the croak belonged to miss or sir before they appered.

-His mouth opened to say something, but no words came, and soon enough she was running off to speak to the toad. Cursing under his breath he soon followed, staying a few steps behind.-

"Ribbit, what does pretty miss kitty need?" -While the frog had been in a hurry, he seemed contented at stopping when he heard the feminine voice, and he hopped a bit closer.- "Lost are we?"

Not paying attion to Nayati, for she felt it best for now not to speak to him she smiled at the frog and nodded softly. "Yes sir, mister frog. Me and My friend here..." She had a bit of harshness in her voice as she said friend... but soon back to it's normal tone, "Are looking for the graveyard. It's Rather important we find it so we can get home." Her tail flickered looking at him hopefully, "Could you show us the way or atleast tell us if we're heading the right way?"

"Ohhhhh.. sure. I can show you wherever you'd like to go." -A soft smirk touched the old toad's face at the apparent situation before him. Whatever the strange horse/human boy had done, he didn't know. But far be it from HIM to not oblidge and care for the lovely lady. Motioning softly, he hopped his way out of the bush.- "Graveyard is past the pond and wide logs. I can take you. But it's a nasty place. Pretty girls don't belong in nasty places."

-Nayati scowled silently towards the toad, slight muscles rippling softly in his arms. He didn't know what he was up to.. but he certainly wasn't going to send Willow back home all tainted and slimed up by some nasty old toad.-

Her tail flickered softly as she giggled, "Ahh but I have reason to beleive several of my friends are traped there. So it's rather important for us to make it there." She didn't seem bothered by the toad's answer.

But she got a feeling Nayati didn't trust the old toad. She paused looking at him and shook her head. Before following the toad

And Nayati followed.. by the now the apology too far in the past to mean anything. He watched her softly, as she walked along after the toad.-

-The toad lead, hopping one long hop, before waiting for Willow to nearly catch up to hop once again.- "Ahh friends? As nice to look at as you?" -A soft wink before he hopped again, laughing a little.- "Well then, I shall just have to escort you through as well. I'm awfully strong."

Her tail flickered while her ears kept twitching to and fro for anything that might be of danger to them. She grined, "You could say that." Sure she wasn't going to mention they were ghosts for he might end up like the cricket but the idea of being escorted by a toad made her think of Willie in one of those funny sort of ways. "I bet you are very strong indeed sir. You sure look like it with every mighty hop you take." This was one of those times Willow used flattery to get her where she wanted to go.

-Oh for crying out loud! Grating his teeth irratedly he let himself fall back a little further, ears twitching downard to help keep him from having to hear anymore of that nonesense. He was fuming for some unknown reason, but he settled his attention on the pack instead, shifting his weight before he tried to think of other things. Like the quest. Why in the world had she grown before it was over? Why weren't they home? It had to be something to do with her taking care of herself without the ghosts. Damn doors, thinking their so freaking clever.-

"Ha, so nice of you to notice!" -Throat swelling with soft pride, he let out a happy croak before hopping once again. He noticed the unicorn boy's falling back but said nothing, instead turning his attention more completely to the young kitty.- "What's your name pretty kitty? And why didn't you bring more 'friends' with you?"

She giggled softly, "Ahh How rude of me, My name's Willow sir." She grined cheekily as she spoke, "And I didn't bring more friends with me because they couldn't come or they were stolen." Sher said simiply for she would've had a hard time explaining the quests to one such animal that wasnt' a velveteen.

Her tail flickered as she paused, "You know you remind me of a princess toad I know." She said as she walked, she had glanced at Nayati to watch him drop back a bit, which she rolled her eyes once she turned her head back to watch were she was walking.

"Very pleased to meet you Willow. You're as lovely as the tree you're named after, ribbit. My name is Finn."

-Boy he was smooth, or so he thought at least, leading her lightly on, seemingly to make a concious effort to quicken the pace a bit, in his own mind thinking perhaps they could lose the tag-along if they did.- "We're almost to the pond, more then half way. Would you like to stop and rest there?"

She smiled softly nodding, "Nice to meet you Finn. And thank you for you're compliment"

She thought about the offer to stop and rest before shaking her head. "No we've already been out here for a night my dear sir. We can't stay any longer than we have to." She said, "It's rather important we get there as soon as we can."

She looked back at Nayati, she was slightly worried that he wouldn't be able to keep up but didn't voice it... for now anyways. After all he had snapped at her.

-His own eyes cast back lightly, glaring at the male at Willows admission. Had that young horse boy tainted the pretty flower? Probably not with the way he hung behind like that. Wuss. Turning a grin back to the tiger however, he nodded.- "Very well, we shall keep going straight."

-By now his mind had twisted instead to why he was angry.. and he soon found himself wondering. This far back he couldn't hear what they were saying. And no long was she looking at him.. speaking words that made him feel all feverish. He should be happy. And that calmed his nerves gently, as he followed slowly behind, eyes turning towards the sky. Perhaps he was being silly. Extra company was never a bad thing, and if Willow wanted to talk to the stupid toad all the power to her.-

Willow sighed as she looked up towards the sky gazing at it. She wished Nayati wouldn't have snapped at her like that, she was only trying to make conversation. She paused looking to the toad. "Oh?" She said for a second having been lost in thought. "oh yes, straight as the birds fly." Was all she said before tilting her head back at Nayati.

It was an odd feeling having him "mad" at her. But all friends had their spats... this one wouldn't be any different, he'd apologize sooner or later... she hoped.

-His tail had slowly begun to twitch again, his walk seemingly less stressed as he mulled over ideas. It was fine and dandy she'd grown.. but she still didn't have the ghosts back? That probably meant that both of his assurtions were right.. and when they hit the graveyard something would be waiting for them. Hmmmm..-

-They continued on passing the large pond.. and soon the towering logs came into sight. The trees themselves were beginning to thin out at that. The toad chattered on words of compliment and idleness, though every once in awhile he'd peek back, disapointed to see Nayati still there. Persistant little bugger wasn't he?-

Willow looked at the toad and grined and nodded with every compliment and idleness he tossed out at her, returning a few herself. Of crouse as the trees began to think she twitched her tail shivering slightly, the toad was right. This place wasn't a place for a girl of her stature, but she had to find out why she coudln't talk to the ghosts anymore. "Are we almost there?" She asked in a slightly curious fashion.

"Yes, just a little further. Past the logs, and then you can see the gates of the graveyard." -Croaking a little softly, he pondered.- "Logs are too high to jump though and very slippery.. so we'll have to go around them. That could take a few minutes."

She nodded as he spoke she looked back towars Nayati, "Oh do hurry up will you?" She said in a slightly expasrated tone. "We don't want to loose you in this maze." She was still keeping up the best she could with Finn as he hopped around the Logs.

-Finn grinned with the obvious irritation, leading her around as he asked lightly.- "Quite a troublesome 'friend' you got. More a hardship then a help if you ask me."

-He seriously debated chucking the pack resting upon his shoulder squarely at her head. She hadn't been grown even half a day and already she was acting like such a snide and irrproachable beast. He soothed his irritation with a heavy sigh however, stopping as he finally reached the logs. Supposed to protect her. She's stressed out. Iris will kill me Letting the vines creep from his pockets he let himself be lifted up and over the logs, settling himself on the ground to wait for them to join him.-

Willow looked at the toad, "He's just a little cranky... He's more of a help than you think." she sighed softly. "And he's got this lovely ivory pelt. If only he'd not snapped at me I would've offered to clean it." Her tail flickered as she followed the toad her tail twitching. "We just had a spat's all. He'll get over it and apologize sooner or later and then there won't need for me to be mad at him anymore." Her tail flickered.

She looked towards the toad. "Have you ever had a friend that one moment was giving you complements and then the next snap you're head off?" It seemed like a rather innoccent question, "Ever since I've grown he's been avoiding looking at me..."

-Nayati settled onto the ground with a bit of a yawn, eyes on the gates in the distance as he subconciously began to brush at the dirt that clung to him.-

-Oh he knew what was going on.. being a male and all himself. And it troubled him to hear the seemingly smitten words of the female. Better n** that in the butt right here and now. Feigning a look of concern and apology, he gave a soft shake of his head.- "Sounds to me like he finds you repulsive now. Picking fights, turning down kind offers, refusing to look at you.. He's a fool. Or perhaps he's just a pervert and has taken a 'liking' to young girls."

-Glancing back to gloat with his eyes at the unicorn boy he was surprised to see him gone, and pausing he croaked loudly.- "It looks like he's up and ditched you too. I'd suggest looking for a better friend miss Willow."

Willow giggled and shook her head, "Impossible, Nayati a prevert? Why that's the last thing he'd do." She twisted her foot slightly in the dirt as they walked her hands behind her back, "Truefully I think he's kind of a sweetheart even if he did yell at me." Her tail flickered looking at the Toad, "I'm quite sure you're a bit older than he is mister toad, no offence ment." She said nodding her tail flickered in a content mannor. Truth was she was sort of playing dumb she had a feeling something was going on that Nayati didn't want to voice, thus why she didn't really mind.

Willow looked back slightly horrified that Nayati had up and dissapered. She twitched, "Iris'll kill me..." She muttered looking around. "NAYATI!?" She called out not really liking the place much and now that he had dissapered this wasn't a good thing at all. Her ears dropped down again, "I suppose you're suggesting you'd be a better friend sir?" She asked looking at him.

-He heard her yell, brushing it aside lightly. If she yelled again he might answer, but he was miffed enough at her to ignore her for the moment. Playing with a seed gently he let a vine grow out, watching as a few small wildflowers began to sprout. Really he should have been saving his energy.. but he needed something to stop the ever growing irritation.-

"Ribbit, I wouldn't mind being your friend. But I'm sure there are plenty of other younger friends you could meet out here in the woods and all." -He of course wasn't thrilled with how she defended him, but he kept that to himself. Being offensive wasn't charming.-

Willow looked around now getting more worried because he hadn't answered, She place a paw one of the logs to see how slippery it was... finding it unable to be climbed she murfed. "Damn it Nayati..." Was the last few words she spoke before looking around.

Her tail flickered looking at the toad shaking her head. "But that's just it. I don't live here, we're visiting and to get home we have to find my friends.... But him up and dissapering is going to keep me from going home... I can't leave without him... I just can't" There was a slight stinging in her eyes, she didn't really understand why as she wailed. "NAYATI WHERE IN THE HELL ARE YOU!?" LP really wasn't a good influnce on children if Willow knew that kind of lanuge already...

-He was beginning to rethink his offer to help in the graveyard as time passed. It was pretty obvious by now he wouldn't be getting anything out it, and the place really did give him the willies. But before HE could answer Nayati's voice touched the air.-

"WAITING FOR YOUR SLOW a**" -Was the simple reply from across the log.-

Willow looked at the toad her head tilted. She placed a soft kiss on his head as they walked, for she could tell he wanted to leave. Chuckling, "See he didn't leave me mister toad." Her tail flickered, "If you have to go I'll understand." Fear was one of the things she could smell from others thanks to her hunter abilities.

When she herd the reply she grumped back, "WELL MAYBE MY a** WOULDN'T BE SO SLOW HAD YOU SAID SORRY ALREADY!" Crossing her arms and huffed, "I swear his mother'll hear about this when we get home."

-Taking his cue to leave, the toad turned tail reluctantly, before beginning off again back towards the pond. Better to find a girl that was interested, then waste his time otherways.-

-As her words drifted over, he cringed a little softly. It was true after all. Lifting himself lightly up he peered over the edge of the log down to her, before letting another vine creep along to her side, to offer he assitance up.-

Willow waved bye to the toad as he hopped off and then looked up at Nayati her arms crossed. Looking at the vine she reluctanly took it and climbed over the log landing on the otherside with a soft thump. "Okay before we go anything further we need to talk." She said her arms once again crossed and one foot tapping the ground.

-He'd been about to talk, but her pushyness sent him spiraling back into his bad attitude, and as the vines slowly crept back up into his pockets he crossed his own arms, stating matter of factly.- "You're a b***h. But I am sorry I yelled at you."

-Before he nonchalantly turned, and began to walk again towards the graveyard, pack swinging over his shoulder.-

She blinked looking at him stunned not expecting that. "Whooaaa...." She shook her head, okay so maybe she had been a bit hard on him. Rubbing her head she sighed.

She blinked watching him walk towards the graveyard she shook her head and ran and stopped infront of him. "I'm sorry too..." She said trying to get him to stop. "I should've stopped to think about you're feelings too..."

-Sighing, he gave a soft roll of his eyes, before reaching over to settle his fingers beneath her chin, attempting to turn her face towards the graveyard.- "Look. I'm not up for girly feelings and chats right now. Can we just find your friends again?"

-Sighing once more he added, with almost a hint of a plead in his voice.- "The quicker we get out of this the sooner you can go back to harrassing me with whatever else you feel you need to say."

Letting him turn her face towards the graveyard she sighed, "I knoww, I just feel strange about leaving things unpatched between us before we go in there." Her tail flickered as she looked back at him.

"Like you said earlier no tellings what'll happen." She nodded as he was trying to get her to head back to the task at hand. But before she even thought about heading that way she made to kiss him on the cheek and then smile. "I'll race you to the gate." She said in a playful taunting mannor.

-He blinked at the kiss, a horse-like snort escaping him at the surprise. But she was gone, and he was in soon quickly in tow. She he could win if he wanted to, catch her and hold her in place, but at the currrent his head was swimming. And he was trying diligently to stop it.

Not really one to run, he half jogged, half trotted after her, eyes on the gate and the ancient graveyard behind it. Crumbling tombstones, gigantic statues many times bigger then even their parents.. and a towering masoleum in the background though it all. The whole place simply reeked of darkness and bad energy.-

Apon reaching the gate she slid to a stop, her fur bristling slightly. Looking up towards the top she was somewhat admiring and some what frightful of what the place held.

She waited for him to catch up with that silly jogging, trot of his. "You'd think they were trying to tell people something." She muttered looking at how tall everything was.

-He caught up in a few strides, coming to a stop beside her. Had she still been little his hand would have instinctively looped within hers.. but instead her found his hand empty, fingers twitching softly as it something was missing.

Slipping through the wide openings between the intimidatingly sharp gate, he waited for her to enter, motioning for her to follow, a little afraid that if he spoke.. he'd wake the dead.-

Willow looked at him as he caught up, she had her hands playing slightly with her tail trying to unfluff it. All this dark energy was bad for the fur.

After he slipped through the gate bars she followed and looked around. Her ears were down slightly and the feeling of alone-ness started to creep into her body. Slightly frozen she made a nosieless whimper looking at nayati before she shook it off and scurried just slightly and clung to his arm. The feeling of being deaf crept back into her, as if it was laughing at her.

-He shifted the weight of the pack to one hand, since his other was taken, muscles tenseing softly around the stick, as if he thought at any moment he'd have to be swinging the thing around for protection. And he silently cursed that. Why couldn't it have been one of the other boys? One of the ones that actually cared for this adventure crap. He just wanted to be at home, stringing that necklace he'd promised for Chastity, listening to her change her mind every three seconds about what color she wanted.

Giving Willow's arm a light squeeze with his own, he leaned in to whisper.- "I'm not certain where we should look first.. The gravestones? The big building?.. I don't suppose you can hear them."

Her tail flickered as she shook her head, "can't hear them..." she whispered back looking around the graveyard. "Lets try the building." She said with a soft nod looking at him.

-He nodded softly, leading as best he could with her clung so closely to him. Strange indistinguishable sounds rang through the graveyard. Birds, the wind, earth settling and trembling, the creak of stones, all adding an eeiree and uncomfortable air to the already dank place. As they neared the huge masoleum however another soft sound touched Willow's ears alone. Very faintly, soft cries and weeps for help.-

Willow's ears perked up and twitched as she started hearing cries pausing she tugged on Nayati's arm and pointed to the building. She whispered, "You hear that?" Thinking there might've been an actual person inside... althought she hoped he couldn't for that'd be proof her friends were in there.

"Huh? The wind?" -He glanced back wearily at the other creepy yet totally natural noises, entirely unaware of the ghostly voices that were oh so lightly assaulting the tigeress.

The voices would grow softly in volume as they neared the masoleum, as if the ghosts were trapped within the cold stone walls.-

She shook her head softly looking at him, "They're in there." She said softly as they were slowly comeing up to the masoleum. Her ears twitched with each cry.

"I think they're in trouble..."

"The ghosts?" -His ears perked, trying to catch the noises that wouldn't have been possible for him to catch, and if not for his already white pelt he probably would have paled a little at the thought. But then! That meant they were probably almost at the end!

Hearing Willow's voice the ghosts cried out louder still, though their voices mingled too much to make apparent what they were saying.-

She nodded softly as she herd the cries pick up louder as she tried to pick through what they were saying. "I can't understand a word of what they're trying to say... It's all too mangled together." A soft frown touched her maw as she looked up at the towering building. "I think we have to go inside..."

-Reluctantly he pulled them both forward seeming to be the one who was doing the clinging now, making sure the girl didn't get loose from his grasp. Stopping before the large stone doors his eyes spotted the large combination lock that rested across the door taunting them.

A familar young voice rose above the others in Willow's ears, though instead of the sweet voice before, the voice was stung with fear and tears.-
"Willow? Willow? We're stuck! He locked us in."

Willow's eyes grew as she heard a voice that was familar to her. She looked up at the door and once she reached it she placed her hand on it. "Don't worry we'll get you out." She said softly to them pressing her ear to it. "By the way who locked you in there?" She asked as she looked up at the lock rolling up her sleeves. Well actully she rolled them up the best she could with Nayati clinging to her.

"I.. I don't know." -The voice began to wail softly, joined in by an clammering of unnumerable ghosts.- "He.. he said something about his son. William. William Trent."

-Though he couldn't hear what was going on, he could tell just from watching Willow that something was up, and he looked up to the lock before finally realeasing Willow.- "Do you know the combination?"

Willow blinked, William Trent... where'd she hear that name before. Looking at Nayati she shook her head, "that I don't know but I'll find out."

She looked back to the door, "Don't worry sweetie, I'll get you out. After all you did help me and trea find our friends last time so now it's my turn to save you all." She murrmurred under her breath, "who ever this man is will be lucky if I don't find him."

-He listened softly, the uncomfortable feeling of being out of the loop of information settling onto him as all he heard was silence behind the door. He didn't even know where to start.-

Willow's tail flickered as she pointed up to the lock, "Nayati I need a lift. Get me to that lock." Even though she didn't know the combination she'd seen movies that showed you could listen to the lock and every time it clicked it was the right number.

-Nayati oblidged, softly letting the vines slip from him and around her gently but snuggly, bracing her at her waist and below her feet before she slowly began to lift.- "How are you going to figure it out if you don't know it?"

She grinned as she was lifted up towards the lock. "Have you ever watched the old westerns?" She asked him her tail flickered as she eyed the lock decideing which way to turn it frist. "Well if you have you'd know that you can listen to the lock and it'll click as you hit the right number and you can then move it back for it to click again until you get it to open. Rather ingenious trick for getting bank vaults open or those pesky locks that keep you from you're friends." She petted the vines softly as if to say good job when they reached the lock.

"Soo i'll need everyone to be as quite as possible while I do this."

-Of course that was easier said then done. Nayati remained silent, his attention on the vines that held her up, trying to keep them from swaying with the increasing wind.

But despite his silence other noises drifted through her ears, making her task nearly, if not impossible. The soft whimper of ghosts, wails and cries, the caw of birds, the building wind, all assaulting the tigeress as if to keep her from openning the door.-

Her tail flickered as she spun the lock trying to hear the clicks as every single nosie kept running into her head. Ears starting to twitch in slight aggiation she looked at the lock sighing. She closed her eyes and tried to focus only on the lock itself and hearing the clicks it made.

Such distractions... she turned the lock again feeling something in it. She lofted a brow, if that was what she thought it was that was only one of the clicks she needed. She started spinning it the other way hoping for the best. "Please guys... try to be quite.. I'll have you out soon" she said softly to the door and the ghosts behind it trying to reassure them and herself.

-Although the ghosts finally took the hint and began to quiet their whimpers, the wind began to sway her. And soon raindroplets began to fall from the sky.-

Willow's tail twitched as the wind picked up. She murfed when a raindrop hit her in the head. Loosing her grip for a second on the lock she epped grabbing it back... had it clicked again? She wasn't sure, crap. She tought for a second and kept turning it the way she'd been turning it. Slower this time.

-Another set of vines crept up along the exsisting vines, reinforcing the tender 'stem' that held the tigeress above.-

Willow kept working with the lock as it clicked again. She switched the way it went and started to spin again tail flickered as she listened to the birds cawing. Her mind wondered for a second if they were watching her.

She shook the feeling she had of what she thought was that of being watched as she found the last click... was that really it? She tried to open the lock tugging at it.

-Nayati tried to gaze up through the quickly increasing rain drops, trying to shield his eyes, but found it hard to see her process reguardless. Sighing gently he did the best her could from below, hoping her luck was good.-

Willow murffed tugging at the lock. It seemed stuck, like it was opened but it didn't want to turn loose all the way. "Nayati... I hate to say this but I think I need you're weight up here." She looked down where she knew he was althought it was hard to see and she was getting drenched. "The locks' caught on itsself and won't turn loose."

-His ears perked, straining to hear her above the rain, and a heavy worry settled in his stomach. He'd never made a vine that strong.. to hold two full sized teens, ecspecially against a torrent of rain and wind. But reluctantly he grabbed hold of the vine, attempting to climb it without rattling the vine too much, thankful that he'd had the pressence of mind to wrap that other one around her waist before.

By the time he made it up he was nearly panting, by now drenched and heavy with water, before leaning his weight into the lock.- "Do I need to pull?"

She nodded as he joined, "Yes I think we we both pull it'll let loose and we can get it off." She was greatful he was up there with her in a way, but she wondered how long the vines could hold up in this weather. If they could just get it open and push it off of the door they'd have everything scoot free. Her tail flicked as she waited to be sure he was ready to pull so they'd be pulling at the same time.

-He nodded softly to signal his own readyness, before beginning to pull at the large lock.-

Once he nodded she also began to pull on the lock. She watched as the lock reluctantly seemed to be opening. "This thing is stubborn" she muttered placing one foot on the door to get herself some extra leaverage. Of crouse one the lock was opened she couldn't help but wonder how hard it'd be to get it to fall off of the door it was holding shut. "Why must they always make these things to be such hard things to open?"

-When the lock gave way, he tumbled back, catching himself only a moment before he went careening over the edge of the platform, his chest heaving and his arms on fire from the double work out.- [[No he didn't fall xD]]

Willow murfed and grabbed his arm just to be sure he didn't fall. Her tail flickered worriedly, "Here you might want to sit down" She said looking at him before setting to the next task at hand which was removeing the lock.

-He did as she said, settling onto the growth, before placing his hands lightly against it. He could feel it weakening, bending, fibers bristling and trying not to snap. But the weight and the wind was becoming too much, and Nayati's attention was fading to the ache in his arms. Closing his eyes he tried to concentrate, hoping she could finish her task before the greenery gave way beneath them.-

Willow murfed for she was feeling it too, the weaking of the vines and poor Nayati. Her tail flickered over his arms. "Just keep it stronge for a few more seconds..." She said softly as she started heaving the lock up pushing with all her might to get it to tumble out of the peice of metal it held onto keeping them from the ghosts. She prayed that he could just keep his mind on the vines just long enough to finish the task.

-With her heave the lock indeed slipped out of it's hole, metal latching softly swaying upon. But the weight of the lock was too much for the vines, the platform snapping suddenly, jarring the two of them before everything crumpled, loose vines falling quickly to the ground, leaving nothing but air beneath them. And gravity worked quickly, leaving just enough time for Nayati to grab out at Willow, pulling her tight against his chest as his eyes squeezed shut, bracing for the slam that was imminent.

There was nothing else he could do about. He was too weak to grow the vines to catch them, too tired for anything, and a startled yelp and heave of air escaped him as they crashed to the ground, shattered bits of vine not really enough to cushion from the stone steps below.-

Willow epped as they fell... Tigers landed on their feet right? She felt rather helpless as they fell looking towards the door. Had the sudden fall not taking her breath away she might would've asked for help from the ghosties.

"Willow" giggled a girl 'bout the same age as the one that had helped willow in the fun house. As she squimed out he door watching the two fall she meeped. Trying to lean a hand in softening their landing.

-It had helped enough to make sure nothing broke, but Nayati's back was on fire, a seering pain ripping from the point of impact up to his stomach where Willow had landed. And softly his hands and grasp fell from her, disjointed gasps of air escaping him as he tried to refill his lungs, despite the pain that each chest extension sent racking through him. eyes openning gently he check to see if Willow was alright.-

Willow offed, as they hit the ground. Air still knocked out of her she struggled to catch her breath back as she rolled off of him and to his side looking at him. Tears held in her eyes from the sting of air flowing back into her lungs. Once able to talk again she moved to Nayati and hugged him crying. "Oh god..." she gasped shaking the images from her life that flashed into her head.

The little girl looked at the pair and pouted slightly, "Willow and friend otay?" She asked looking at the two, running a cooling hand over the pair trying to see if both were still greatly intacted.

-Having the air pressed from both sides he was finding it harder to catch his breath, let along move as she did, but when he saw her tears he forced air and words out of himself, teasing faintly over a whisper.- "You ought to... lose some weight... Willow."

Willow grined softly when Nayati spoke and looked towards the ghost, "We're fine Bee, thanks...." She said softly nodding before turning back to tend to Nayati, she gentally grabed him into a hug, "And you... should learn how to fly." She whispered with a smile as she looked him over, "Nothing broken?"

-He cringed visibly with the affection though he didn't complain.- "I don't.. think so."

-Around them the world began to fade, and to anyone in it the two would seem to fade, until finally their surroundings had changed entirely, settled upon the wide couch in the familar shop. Nayati had become still, the only motion the soft rise and fall of his chest, followed by the wheeze of air that accompanied it.-

Who is This William Trent?
[Post Number: ooo64]

It's been just barely a few hours since we left that horrible place. Nayati was in pain last I saw him, and some guy with a son named William Trent who locked MY ghosts up in a Masoleum.

When I find this guy he will have his throat ripped out for what he's done, and for the damanage he caused to Nayati. I've been doing some research on this man named William Trent but all I've found is that he's got a Museum from the Civil War Era.

No matter, when I do find him.... He better be ready to pay the piper.

Love,
Willow

P.S. I hope Nayati's doing better...

RP with Moo and Iris
[Post Number: ooo66]

Willow stood there just outside the door as it swung quitely open the bells only tingled just a bit. Her head tilted as she watched Acia at the end of her routine and lofted a brow at her.

Before quitely walking into the shop tossing a white backpack on the floor with a soft thud, after pulling out a deck of tarot cards she carried. "I really don't see why you want them read again...." She said absent mindedly towards thin air. "You already know the outcome is going to be the same as the last two i've read."

Moofuls
Acia blushed right to her ears, nodding her thanks and ducking her head in embaressment. "Thanks... Just a hobby of mine, something to keep me from losing me head in my books..." She gave a little flick of the wrist, but glanced up, positively beaming from the praise.

And then Willow's voice wafted over, and she quirked a brow, glancing over to the tiger. A moment passed before she recognized Willow, and then she grinned, waving a greeting. "Willow! You grew! Congrats, you look great!"

Iris_virus
-He turned lightly, spotting the familar tigress as she entered, talking to a ghost again it would seem. And he lifted his hand in soft acknowledgement and hello. Chastity as well chittered a happy hello.

But then Nayati fell back, watching the two lovely teens whistfully, arms crossing before his chest. Chastity on the other was beginning to decide on colors.-

Willow tilted her head before grinning. "Hello Acia, Chastity.... Nayati." She said with a giggle, "You feeling any better Nayati?" She questioned before grinning at Acia.

"Thanks." She said softly. "Haven't seen you in ages... Almost since my last growing wasn't it?" She asked tilting her head to the side as she waved off someone behind her.

"I know, I know, you want that reading..... Okayyy...." She said with an eye roll. "I still dont' think it'll be any different you havent' done anything to change it, all you've done is hang behind me and ask for another one." Indeed she seemed to be getting a bit flustered with this one, "Give me a second...." She murrmurred as she shifted the cards in her paws gentally.

Moofuls
"Aye, it has been a while, hasn't it? Nayati was the last Velvet I saw, and that was all the way back near Christmas..." She grimaced faintly, then smiled. "It is good seeing you again, though..."

She paused momentarily while Willow entertained the invisible guest, a trick that still unnerved Acia, and, while the tiger was busy, returned her attention to Nayati. "Now your turn. Surprise me. I don't want to overtax you."

The Velveteen Toychest
"I'm doing alright. Get all the shopping supplies?" -He watched curiously out of the corner of his eyes as she shifted the cards about, wondering what it was all about. And if it was a ghost only trick.

Acia's words grabbed his attention however, and he nodded softly, pushing back a few stray strands of hair, before he dipped into his pockets once again.- "Alrighty then, something pretty and sweet."

-Settling the seed in his hand, he held it open so that Acia could watch as the seed split, delicate little tendrals of vine working their way across his fingers. Tiny leaves soon formed along with baby flowers, before the flowers began to change, a green bud forming.. growing.. and turning red.

Until finally a few tiny strawberries became distinguisable. Usually he could make them people size.. but today velvet size would have to suffice.-

Willow set about laying out the cards on the floor in one of the normal patterns, "I got some of it finished but LP needs custom plans...." afterwords looking at the "ghost" when she was finished. "I told you it wouldn't have changed." She murrmurred softly as she nodded listening to the ghost.

"Well I told you before what you could do to change that outcome is to go do some good." She paused as her eyes went wide glancing at Nayati. "That's not doing good... that'd only cause trouble. Now go on, come back after you've done two days of good deeds okay?"

Finally releived of the ghost she gathered the cards up reshuffling them and picked up the back which looked oddly like someone else in the shop. "I swear he's hard headed." She muttered rolling her eyes as she sat down to watch the strawberries grow. She stiffled a chuckle, "Those are nice.... I bet they're tastey too." Tail flickered as she looked at acia and dragged out something in a small package tossing it to Acia, "I got you a set of goggles for christmas but you never showed up for me to give them to you."

Moofuls
"Pretty and sweet," she echoed, watching silently as the vine sprouted, grew, gasping softly in delight as the little flowers bloomed, watching curiously as they fell away and strawberries budded... As the performance drew to a close, she heartily applauded the show, sending him a grin before plucking one of the strawberries from the vine and taking a bite from it. It wasn't often she found fruit her size. "Brilliant! Very well done..."

She blinked as the package came flying her way, catching it out of reflex and glancing up to Willow. If possible, her grin brightened even further, and without further ado she tore open the package, positively beaming at the goggles set gracefully within. "Thank you, Willow! I'm surprised you had them with you today."

Iris_virus
-Another grin touched his muzzle proudly, holding his hands out for the girls, all three of them, to pluck at the few berries as they pleased, tail flicking contentedly behind him. But before he could stop it a soft yawn touched him.-

-Steal a berry of her own she popped it into her mouth happily before noticing the yawn, settling beside the unicorn like a douting sister.- "Ohhhh, getting tired? We'd better head back soon enough then, I don't know that I can carry you the whole way. Looping her arms around Nayati's neck, she rest a head gently on his shoulder, smiling to the two girls.- "Lovely to meet you Acia! And to see you again Willow. Next time I see you guys I'll have some clips for you, so we can all match!"

Willow's tail flickered as she shook her head declining the berries with a slightly wistful look. "I would but.... you know what I told you earlier" She muttered softly with a wrinkled nose.

She blinked looking at Chastity for a second before smiling, "Oh?" She seemed slightly surprised that Chastity had said something about clips and matching, "Okay." She snuck a quick hug to both Chastity and Nayati, "Well if you two have to go be careful." She said with a soft grin.

Looking back at acia she shrugged, "A bird told me you were around the shop." Her tail flickered, "I hope you like them."

Moofuls
She helped herself to the berries, praising Nayati's efforts between snacks, and nodded slightly when Chastity announced that it was time for them to go. Unlike Willow, she refrained from hugging either, simply nodding slightly in goodbye. "It was nice meeting you as well, Chastity.. And good seeing you, Nayati. Hunt me down if I don't drop by again soon. I'm sure Iris has Moo's address."

Grinning faintly, she waved a goodbye, then turned her attention back to Willow's gift of the goggles, examining them closely. "I do indeed! I've been needing a new pair, actually. My last ones got all scorched when one of Moo's experiments backfired."

Willow watched as they left before murring, "I wish I could tolerate fruit, veggis and the like...." She pouted slightly.

Watching Acia she chuckled, "Mmmm well they're not the fanciest pair I could find but it was the best quality." She said with a nod. "When does't one of Moo's experiments backfire?" She questioned with a soft snicker.

Moofuls
"Psh, goggles don't need to be fancy." She grinned her thanks, looping the strap through one belt loop and tucking the goggles through it so they wouldn't fall. "Moo's managed a few things... She's helped me out a lot, especially when I was younger. I dare say I've passed her up with most of it, though. That, and she tends to just do things on a whim, rather than research how they should be done properly... But sometimes she gets lucky."

A soft chuckle passed the maw of the tigeress, "Lucky? Sounds like LP in a round about way. She doesn't do things by the books alot of the times. Although I guess it's a god given talent rather than anything else that she can get by with just pluging wires here and there when hooking up things." Shaking her head softly she murfed, "She's gunna build me one of those temple like things you see in China and Japan.

Moofuls
"Yeah, that sounds like Moo..." She chuckled softly, but sighed, ears drooping somewhat. "I haven't seen her in a while, to be honest... I mean, she's been around the house, but I haven't even had a chance to talk with her... She's been very busy lately, I guess..."

Willow chuckled, "Ah that aint nothing. LP's running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. She's got this bright idea of going to collage.... Might be dragging me along for it she says." x-X

Moofuls
"Uh huh." That didn't sound like quite the same thing as Acia hardly seeing her own guardian, but whatever. "Well, thank you for the gift, Willow, but I should probably head home... I want to back before dark. Don't like flying through the forest when the sun goes down." It could be unnerving enough even when there was light.

"Right, Hey if you ever wanna visit us, just say so. I'll get the message soon enough and be there at you're door step." She said with a grin and a wink. "If I'm lucky LP'll be spending most her time at collage so we don't have to listen to her whine about how hard it's going to be and not being able to pay for it." She winkled her nose softly.

"I'll see you later Acia, hopefully before almost a year passes again." She said with a chuckle. "And I know what you mean about the darkness, even though I can see well in it I don't think I want to be traveling around in woods by myself."

-edit-

Willow yawned softly moving towards the couch with her bag in her arms. "I think I might spend the night here myself...." She muttered as she curled up on one of the Pillows watching Acia leave before dozing off.

Moofuls
"Will do," she assured the tiger, smiling. Taking to the air, she waved a goodbye and darted for the door, opening it with a combination of an electric shock to turn the knob and a gust to push it open. In seconds, she was lost to sight, dissappearing out the door and off for home.

Willow streached softly and yawned looking about, as she entered the shop. Her tail flickered as she peered about, it was one of those lazy afternoons and she didn't really feel like tailing LP where ever she wanted to go, so she decided to stay in the shop till everything was done. "I 'suppose no one is around...." she mutters as she looked about her head tilted softly.

A sharp, cloudy blue eye watches her from a clump of plushes on one of the many shelves, deliberating. "Keh keh keh," Kesin mutters to himself in his throat. "Little cat. Little girl cat. Since when? Since why?" He hasn't seen this one before. Or many of the shop inhabitants he'd been watching for a little while now,the startling number of new strangers and apbrupt changes in the velvets he had used to know. Willow, he remembers only vaguely in the fog of his brain, but intuition tells him this one is of his kind. After all, how many mildly magical, tiny anthro people could there possibly be crawling around?

After quite a long time of watching, Kes decides perhaps he'd rather be sociable than not. With a flirt of his piebald wings, he flutters down to the edge of the couch and picks idly at the unraveling threads as though he hasn't seen her yet, clucking softly about the fine weather.

Apon hearing the bird's feathers Willow tilts her head. "Well Hello there, I've met you before haven't I?" She asked softly tilting her head, something seems oddly familar about the bird but she can't place it. She walked over towards the couch and gave a half hop-climb to get herself onto it's comfy coushins.

She looked at the bird with a soft mrowl as she sat her backpack beside her. LP always told her to carry alittle something sweet or shiney incase she'd run into wild birds but this one wasn't either. She lofted a brow as he clucked something about fine weather. "Indeed...."

"Hello! Hello Hello. Have you met me? Maybe so, maybe so." He tilts his head and ruffles his feathers, feeling rather suave. But his eyes are on her pack. "My, my, little tiger. All alone! Where is your keeper, eh?"

Willow giggled at the bird, "Oh you mean LP! She's off shopping for things, I didn't feel like going with her." She said softly looking at the bird, "Where's your keeper?" She asked as she pulled from her bag a small package that smelled like cookies.

"Tsk tsk!" He warbles with a rather cross expression. "Who is to know? WHO is to know, I say?? Away, away, that one. Away to the palace? No no. Away even more. Down to the tortilla place." He hops a little closer, and steps gingerly off of the arm and onto the cushion, coveting the package that smells suspiciously of food. "What you got there?"

Willow giggled, "Who is you're caretaker?" She quarried softly looking at the bird her head tilted.

"Oh what's in the bag... it's cookies, would you like one?" Her ear twitched as she looked at him inspecting him closer.

"Oh, that bad vampire. That Naraka vampire. No, Kesin has no 'caretaker'. Kesin is Kesin's caretaker. So there." He waves his tailfeathers at an imaginary Naraka and sidles up next to Willow, acting all friendly. "Oh, yes. A cookie is most excellent." However, he has his heart set on more than one.

Willow's eyes widen, "Kesin! Now I remember you." She giggled and snugs the bird when he gets closer beofre giving him a cookie. "I thought you had dissapered for good."

She openeds the pack to show there's a small hand full of about 10 in it. For they're like the teddy grahams.... And offers him one to take. Her tail flickered, "How've you been it's been ages since I've last seen you."

Kesin tollerates the snuggling, as it's his ticket to the all-mighty cookie. "Oh no!" He exclaims, gobbling down the cookie with relish, tossing crumbs helter skelter. "Been gone. Been away. I watch. Mountains are drab, drab, drab. Naraka tells me, (he then begins in with a startlingly accurate version of Naraka) 'You feathered ninny! If you hate it here so much, fly back home like you did the first time! I can't quit all this research just so you can look at your treasure hoard! Go on, then. I'll be back soon. Say 'hello' to everyone for me--'" He stops abruptly, blinking, and gives out a ruckus, "HELLO HELLO HELLO!!!! There... " He accepts the teddy.

Willow giggled and offers him another. "You act like you've nothing at all to eat." A soft murr as she laughs at the Nara Impression. "So he is coming back after all. LP's been missing talking to him some what terrible, says he's one of the few friends. Althought I don't know why.... she's hardly around anymore to see any of the other velveteens"

Her ears twitch as she swats off something invisible and rather randomly starts talking to the thin air. "Gah, I don't feel like giving you another reading..." She mutters, "I've doubt that you've enough good to change the last one, sides didn't I tell you give it a few days?"

She murfs looking back at Kesin, "Sorry 'bout that..." She said with a soft mutter.

"Oh, I haven't!" He lies. "Naraka is mean. Never feeds me. I have to feed myself." He picks up all the crumbs that he can find. "He come back after hell and doomsday and all the floods. He says 'soon' but he said 'soon' many days ago. Dead palace... so very important... pah!!"

He startles when Willow begins to talk to nobody, tilting his head and then giving her a suspicious look like she must be blinkin' mad. But something gives him the willies and he ruffles his feathers against the disconcerting feeling. "What you talk at?"

Willow snerks, "Ahhh after hell and doomsday, well we'll all be half dead if not dead by then." She pets the bird and gives him another cookie, "Aw I'd say you should peck him on the head for it but Bah, say he suppose to be a vampire eh?"

Glaring at the air she hisses, "Don't you dare.... No one cares about that and it's abosultly rediculous anyways."

She blinked tilting her head as if it was pratically normal and that everyone should know, "I can talk to ghosts...." She rolled her shoulders in a shurg. "They're just like everyone else... only a bit louder and ruder at times."

"Not Kesin," He puffs proudly. "Maybe not Willow. We live for many a year, eh? Many a year. Ah!" He stares at the blank air, blinking, trying to see whatever it is she's trying to talk to. "Ah.... yes, a vampire. A blood drinker. Ghost? I have had enough of ghosts. Go to the dead palace! They will scream at you all night!"

Willow giggled, "Indeed felines do tend to have 9 lives." Her tail flickered softly interested in learning more about nara and this 'dead place'. "Oh really? I do wish he'd hurry up and get back, I'd love to learn alot about him. I've been studying them in books and on T.V. LP says they don't do them justice thought."

A giggle passed her lips, "I wish I could go to this dead place. Might have someone by the name of Wiliam Trent and his father." Her knuckles cracked with a dangerous gleam in her eye, "I'd like to get ahold of this fellow...."

"Kesin has ten million," he responds querrelously. "Along with Naraka. We live till doomsday, eh? Till he comes back! Ha! If he does not come back soon, we will get him. Bring him back here. Call him names." He nods. "I have learned far too much about vampires! Naraka's friend talks about nothing but vampires. Hmmph! He goes to the dead city and talks and talks, talks about vampires!!!"

He looks suspiciously at the point that Willow had been looking at, the supposed location of this supposed ghost and gives it a derisive cluck. "No such men in the dead palace. They all have crazy names."

Willow looked at Kesin and giggles, "That sounds like a good plan." Her tail flickers watching him. "Oh? So you've learned alot of them yourself." She grins in thought.

She murfed, "What rotten luck. Ah well, I'll find them soon enough." She cracked her knuckles before rolling her eyes. "Will you stop that? There's no way in hell I'm giving you another reading today." Her ears flickered irrated at the ghost bothering her. "And no Nayati and I are just friends.... now stop that." She had a bit of a snarl in her voice.

"Fah fah. Too much about vampires. Besart family has golden hairs, Amyas clan, religious sect. Social schizm, wark wark! Talk talk talk, comes out of Chac. Food needs to come out of Chac."

Kes settles himself down like a hen roosting for the night, folding his feet under himself carefully and adjusting his wings. "Tsk, I hear nothing. A ghost? What kind of ghost?"

Willow couldn't help but chuckle, "bag o' hot air then eh?"

Her tail flickeres as she sighs, "A rather Rude ghosty." She said softly looking at the bird rubbing his pretty feathers, "I get all kinds of ghosts needing help." She said softly with a nod. "Ever since I was an animal like you I've her nothing but ghosts. Whispers at first and they slowly grew into actully being able to talk to them."

"Sure sure. Cold air. He's dead. But a bag, yes. A man bag, yes."

Kesin looks suspiciously at Willow when she begins to reach towards him, but her petting is nice. He settles himself back in and clucks contentedly. "Fah. There are enough people talking; always talking! You must hear ghosts! Wear the iPod to make you happy. Listen to the Strokes." He chuckles at his odd, offbeat joke.

Willow stiffled a laugh at this, "Yes."

Blinking she murred, "Pretty bird you are. I always hear them, there's a buzz even in the most empty of places, Nayati got hurt helping me get them back for my growing quest. I've grown quite faund of the noise." She admited soflty, "iPod?" She tilted her head blinking, "What's that?"

Kes puffs up his pearly chest feathers. "Hmm!! Eh? That sounds quite awful. I like quiet, sometimes. Yes. Quiet. Ah? The ipod. People wear them, you see? They wear them, and the music comes out and into their ears. And they listen, eh? And they don't listen to anything else. Easy to take their lunch," he nods sagely.

Willow blinked, "Oh you mean like a cd player?" She quested. Tail flickered as she took out something else wrapped up from her bag, "Oh yes LP said if I ever saw you taht she wanted me to give you something." She unwrapped a small sliver whistle and held it up for the bird to see.

"Yes yes. Like this. Yes. But another sort." Kes eyes the bag with widening eyes. "Oh? What is this?" He takes the whistle in his beak and turns it over and over, admiring the shine. "LP? I remember. Pretty hair. Pretty LP. She gives many good things!"

Willow gave a chuckle and a grin, "Yup, LP's a nut but she'll give what she has if it makes someone happy. Trust me I live with her... I know." She watched him admire the whistle, "She said you'd like it."

"LP knows. LP is smart! A genius!" Kes sets his new toy here and there on the cushions, admiring how it looks, until his covetous nature compels him to stash it in his hoard. He picks it up and flies it off to one of his holding areas (he doesn't want to give away the position of his true stashes) and comes back.

Willow chuckled, "I wouldn't go so far as genius... but the others are okay." Her tail flickered as she waited ofr hte bird to come back.

Murring she stiffled a yawn. "So I supose you'e speical talents are collecting shiney things and eating eh?" She asked him with a grin.

Ping's Problems
[Post Number: ooo68]

There are alot more ghosts than I ever dreamed of. I know of atleast thrity. I think there's more of them than velvets I've never met. Recently Ping, one of my new found friends; has been rather down. She loves the lotus blooms and living in china. But It seems she's lost her ancestores and doesn't know what temple she belongs to.

There are alot of temples in china I've found some of LP's old record books. I don't know why she has them or where she got them but Ping doens't seem to remember what he family's full name is.

This looks to be a problem.

Oh well Wish me luck.
Willow.

[Post Number: ooo69]

LP muttered as she dragged her lazy bum to the shop. "But Willow, I have too much work to do!" It sounded like by now Willow was the one taking charge of her "family."

"Quite your whining LP you've managed to keep from coming here alot, you should really start coming around more often. People will think i've been orphened." Her tail flickered as she led the way to the shop hoping here and there picking up random things.

Keppit
The door to the shop creeped open with a mild squeak and a girl of avwerage height poked her white hair through follwed by her nose and eyes... Ranald looked around the room and saw that no one was there... good. It was better that way, really. Ranald never felt like she belonged here without a kid of her own...

She stepped inside and held open the door for five seonds before Willamina hopped through wearing her favourite pair of furry boots (stolen from a barbie doll) .... she had that look of princesses about her and she glared up at Ranald.

"Now dinnae look at me like that you frog you... I brought you here so you could play... now play. I cannae help it your Mum is on vacation." Ranald grumped over to the nearest sofa and plopped down on it. THen she unceremoniously threw the bag she had been carrying down on the floor.

Willie hopped over to it with a toady sigh.

LP muttered as she placed her hand to open the door but it swung open it all it's own a few moments after Ranald had sat down, LP pulling her hand back away from the door twitching. "Willow will you tell them not to do that!?" She was fussing as she went into the shop slightly fuming before blinking, "Oh hello..... ummm willie... and...." She paused, hadn't she seen this woman before?

Willow rolled her eyes, "Oh pleaseee.... it's just like an auto door if you pay no mind to who opens it. Stop complaining, atleast TEACH has times to actully TEACH me unlike you, when you made such a fuss..." She shook her head and before LP could say another word. "Oh right you taught me card games..."

She looked up and grined at Willie, "Willieeee!!!" She ran over to hug the froggy toad. "Boy have I missed you!"

Keppit
Willamina turned and looked as the door opened, and a split second later she was leaping into the teen tiger's arms. "Croooak." and a toady hug were all she could manage at seeing her friend.

"Im Ranald." She sat forward on the sofa and smiled at Lp. "Techincally, I'm Keppit's twin sister... but, not a zombie obviously.... " She laughed nervously.

LP giggled, "That explains it. I'm LP, friend o' kip's." She nodded softly before colasping into a sofa. "I can't beleive Willow dragged me here. I have so much to do..."

Willow giggled at Willie. "I met a toad on my quest you would've loved to ran into. He was rather kind even though Nayati went bonkers on me after he found out I gave him a kiss on the head to see if he was a prince" She kissed Willie in much the same mannorism as she had the other toad. "But alas he wasn't."

Keppit
The toad huffed and scoffed at the kiss... it was a kind guesture, but of course she was a princess. She didn't need a kiss to prove it. Nonetheless she smiled up at the tiger and made as if to ask her to play, but of course all that came out was "Coooorrrrak?.... croak croak crooouuuk. Coruak.. Roooooak. Crrrrk."

Ranald relaxed back in the sofa. So this girl knew Kep... but then again, who didn't? You could smell Kep a mile away! Ranald laughed in her head. "Yeah, I've really not got anything to do since I'm a lazy bum, but Kep asked me to bring the Froglet here at least once a week while she's away on vacation." She looked around the room... "I was here once before but I dinnae remember meeting anyone."

LP chuckled and sighed, "Well she's pretty nice, not like she'd attack anyone.... which is slightly odd because I ran into her after the halloween attack..."

Willow giggled and sat down tail flickered, "Can you dream up a haunted house?" She asked looking at the toad a grin crossed her maw as she looked towards different plushies.

Keppit
Ranald glanced over at the girl. "Actually I hear so attacked five people and a tree before she could be brought back around to human type sanity... In fact the first person she attacked is the same man she's out on vacation with right now." Ranald laughed. "I wish I had been around to see it. I can jsut imagine the look on his face, the smug bas.... " She paused and seemed to recover herself. "They've all been cured now though.

Willamina hopped down to the floor and over to the bag Ranald had flung down. The little toad burried herself in it's fold for a moment before returning with a small pair og goggles (also stolen off a barbie) and a small maglite flashlight... it was a strange little picture once she got them on and started looking around the room cautiously as if she couldn't see... then she reached out and turned the head on the flashlight and the world came into view.... it was a very entryway to what could only be considered a very very very old house... and there were bound to be good things in it... very very good things. The small toad adventurer, Rasha (Willie), took a step forward, not caring if her compaion followed her into the darker recesses of the house...

LP shook her head, "Ah well I don't think I ran into her that night... I hope. But me and the resident vampire... when he's around that is. We had quite an adventure that night."

Willow let herself sink into the dream eyes adjusted to the darkness no need for the flashlights or anything. Her knuckles cracked before mrowling a yawn. "Lets do this." she looked around to take in the dark room.

Keppit
"Huhn..." Ranald let herself stare off into space. "You get all kinds around here." And she certainly didn't mean it in a bad way... she herself was a clone of sorts... she sighed.

Rasha the adventuring toad took a moment to register what the tiger woman behind her had said, but then it was obvious as she cracked her knuckles at the darkness... this was going to be fun. She held the flashlight out so that she could angle it into the corners where the trouble was sure to be.... but as soon as she moved the flashlight one way she was sure there was a creature in the opposite corner... lurking just out of distance... lurking just out of the light.... and then she turned the corner and saw Ranald and Lp sitting on the sofa. Willie sighed and longed for the day that she could close people out of her imaginings... or at least change them... but no. People stayed the way they were... she moved the light back and let the invaders fade to the back of her mind. Was that movement in the corner? Rasha swung the light at a dizzying speed.

LP nodded softly with a stiffling yawn, "Indeed we do. So many different people from different lifestyles it gets quite interesting sometimes, other's rather boring." She rolled her head to the side and as she did her neck cracked.

Willow watched the flashlight that Wil....er Rasha had in her hands, watching softly. Willow's eyes scanned the dark room after a few seconds before catching the quick movement of the flashlight. She wondered what Rasha thought she saw. Giving it a moment her tail flickered as she looked around in the dark, "what do you see?" She asked in a whisper to the toad.

Keppit
Ranald laughed... "Never borring at my house that's for darn sure! ... but now that the sports player of the family if off to camp and the zombie is on vacation it's a little quieter... and nicer smelling." She nodded matter of factly.

"Crrrroooak. Creeeiiik croooak corak." She replied without turning her head at all, or even taking her eyes off a corner of the room... She took a single, cautious step towards a closed trunk just off to one side of where the flashlight was pointed... and then another... and another... within seconds she was close enough to reach out and open the trunk...but before she could get a chance to the lid flew open... Rasha was so taken aback that the flashlight flew from her hands and the room went dark.

LP chuckled, "Eh I've got so much to do around my little place it's not funny. Willow's wanting me to build her something like one of those japanese temples." She nodded matter of factly.

Willow learned not to jump she stayed rather still the change in light taking a bit to get use to, if there was any sort of light left in the room. Her tail flickered as her ears twitched to and fro trying to pick out noises other than those that were supppose to be there.

Keppit
Ranald raised an eyebrow... "Really? and you're considering doing it?.... I mean that's cool... I just... I don't think I'd do that." she laughed... "I'm the evil twin I guess."

Rasha leapt a good foot to where she thought the flashlight was and felt around in the dark madly... finally she managed to get ahold of the lightsource and turn it on. Light flooded the corner of the room where the torch was pointed and Rasha scanned the area.... nothing... then she turned the light on the tigress before realizing that turning a light on someone in the dark was rude and kept them from seeing. "Crooak." It was an appology really.

LP blinked softly with a shrug, "I might if i can find iris one day and ask her about how tall she thinks the tallest velveteen might be so I can tack on a few more inchs and be sure there's enough room for her to move around in when she grows."

Willow shook her head as soon as the light turned on. Quite rather stunned by it at that fact her eyes already use to the darker of the two evils. Once her eyes were again readjuested she shurged, "Tis fine... Just startled me." She said in a whisper looking around again, "What came out of the cheast I wonder?"

Keppit
"That's neat." She flicked a peice of lint off her leg. "I built a treehouse for one of my kids... one of my jivvins..." She sighed... "But she's gone and run off... no one knows where she is right now."

She shrugged... or at least she tried, but her shoulders weren't really equiped for shrugging. The toad turned the flashlight around the room once more, but whatever it was that had been inside the trunk was no longer there.... this was a spooky place but it wasn't something Rasha the demon huntress couldn't handle... but still.... perhaps the Tiger should lead the way...

Willie pointed a long crooked toad finger in front of her... "Croooak."

LP looked at the woman and gave a soft simi-apologetic look. "I'm sorry, I'm sure she'll come home soon."

Willow looked at Willie and blinked tilting her head, Wondering what in the world the toad wanted her to do. "Eh?" She questioned watching Willie point infront of her.

Willow's tail flickered, ears moving towards the sounds around the shop as she entered slowly into it. She was in stalking mode, for a moment anyways before the door slammed shut behind her causing her to jump and fur bristle out.

"I swear next time you do that, I'll make sure you're damned for the rest of you're life." She crossed her arms in a huff shaking her head and unfluffing her tail. Sighing she took a seat on the coffee table and pulled out her tarot cards and started shuffling them out of boredom. "LP's suppose to meet us here yes, not like I expect her anytime soon. You know how she is." She muttered to the air infront of.

Jeanemon
Loud humming preceeded her entry to the shop. Dancing, though there was no music in sight, the woman sashayed her way into the shop. She was clothed head to toe in bright colors and bandages, the brightness topped off by violently violet hair. Perched on top of all the hair was a very patched little plush rottweiler.

Erishi smiled around, tilting her head to one side. "Hello!" She called out to anyone who might be withing hearing range.

For a second Willow would've thought the woman was LP for the way she was acting but knew much better when she saw the hair. Lofting a brow she stood up. "Allo..." She said in a soft greating, eyeing the woman's plush toy.

Ear twitching to the side she swatted at someone/thing with her tail and hissed, "Hush you. You don't want to be made fun of." Her eyes narrowed slightly at the air before turning back to the lady.

"I don't think I've seen you before. I like you're plush." She could tell something about it set it off as a velveteen.

Jeanemon
Blinking, Erishi cocked her head again. "Hello?" She asked, looking around. Finally, she looked down and spotted Willow. She took a deep breath and said, almost reverently, "Kitty!"

Leaning down, she eyed Willow. "Hello, Kitty! Erishi was not aware that Kitties could be so small and upright and clothed and talking!" She tapped herself once on the chest. "Erishi is Erishi!"

She tipped her head down and let the plushie fall into her hands. "Doggy is Ziggy. Erishi found him inna dumpster. His legs were gone, so I sewed him new ones. They match good, huh?" She looked proud of the bright colors.

Willow blinked and thought to herself, deffinatly part of LP's crowd. She strighted out her shirt and gained composer rahter quickly and began to inform the woman of a few things she said wrong, "First off Dear, I might be part of the Feline family but i'm a tiger not a kitty." She said with a gental nod.

"Secondly My name's Willow, nice to meet you Erishi, and Ziggy." Her head tilted again eyes the puppy. "Might I ask what dumpster you got him out of?" Her tail flickered, she'd wait and go into the whole velveteen thing on how plush toys turn into "human" like animals, she'd heard the spill from LP every few days when she was smaller.

Jeanemon
"Erishi is glad to meet you, Willow-kitty!" She smiled, but momentarily looked confused. "Erishi does not know how to shake hands with Willow. Willow is too small."

The confusion passed quickly and she smiled again. "Ummm... Outside! Erishi was running, and jumping, and she fell into one and found Doggy! He was cute, so got tooked home." She dusted Ziggy off and sniffed him. "Erishi thinks she got the smell out from him. Ziggy doesn't smell like garbage no more."

Willow giggled and shurged, "You could always old out a finger for me to shake with?" She offered, she never really thought about that little problem, for it never had been one.

"Oh? I ment if you knew where you were when you feel into the dumpster." She tilted her head looking at Ziggy, "May I see him?" She asked softly her head tilted curiously wondering, still not fully sure if he was an abannonded velveteen she never knew of or if the trunk had purposely put him there for she could feel something magical about the plush.

Soon after Willow asked if she could see the plush the bells on the door jinggled sending a greeting to yet another visitor. Known as LP around the shop, she paused and looked at the the new lady Willow was talking to with a slight lofted brow.

Discouraged by the lack of company to be found in the shop the night before last, Toby had spent a good part of this evening pleading with his mother to go back...only for some reason, she hadn't seemed to want to. But Tori was tired, and since it was after dark, Iden was the only option if he wanted to go visit.

She'd given in, finally, and walked him there. But as they got close, she leaned down and nudged him forward with a smile. "You go on in, I think I'll stay here. It's nice out tonight, y'know?"

Toby, though he looked a little puzzled, went on in the door as she opened it for him. "Okay, if you're really sure. I won't be too late, promise."

Iden moved a little further down the street, and settled herself on the curb.

Willow wondered towards the shop dragging LP along... in that ghostly mannor. "You work too much LP You need to come to the shop and stop being a stick in the mud." She saw Iden as she walked towards the shop and saw Toby entering into it. "TOBY!!!!" She Yelled happily and ran off towards her friend leaving LP struggling with the ghosts.

"Let me go, I can walk perfectly fine on my own. I do have work to do and I would've appericated....." She trailed off when she saw Iden, sitting there on the curb seeming somewhat unhappy. Finally when the ghosts let her go she moved up towards the woman and tilted her head, "Mind if I sit down?" She asked in a rather soft tone.

Meepfur
"Willow!" Toby cried in happy surprise. "Willow, Willow you grew!" And she was so pretty. Okay, she'd always been pretty, but now she was really pretty. "When did you grow? What was it like?!"

Iden heard the chatter, but she didn't actually look up to see what it was until after LP had been let go, having been preoccuppied with playing with the shoelaces that tied her armwarmers.

She smiled up at the other woman, waving a hand. "Sure, go ahead."

Willow grined widely, "I know. It was quite fun actully until the last bit but how about I start at the beginning." Her tail flickered as she tugged slightly on her sleeves looking around, "How about we sit down because it's a bit of a long story to be trueful."

LP nodded softly and sat down beside her on the curb. "You look sort of down in the dumps. What's the matter?" If she noticed the change in Iden she didn't mention it or showed it.

Meepfur
Toby's tail wagged furiously behind him, and he nodded. "Okay! Here, how about the couch?" And so saying, that was where he went, clambering hurriedly up onto it so that he could offer Willow a hand up.

"Huh? Oh, I'm okay. I just don't feel like being inside, is all." It wasn't really a lie, just not the detailed truth. She pushed her hair back behind her ear, smiling. "How've you been?"

Willow grined as she followed him, "Soundsl like a good place to me." She giggled and took his offering hand though most of the time she could do it without help, she wouldn't never decline it. "Thank you toby."

Her ears twitched as she sorted out things that were said to her by some of her ghost pals and she chuckled, "I suppose but really B it is a story worth telling many a times." She said speaking to the thin air beside the couch.

LP looked at Iden with a brow lofted and then shurged, "Ah well if you don't want to talk about it." Sure LP might not always be the brightest one of the bunch but she could tell when people weren't happy.

"I've been busy, and to be honest trying to keep Willow out of the movies she's been wanting to watch." She chuckled with a shake of her head. "That girl wants to watch more R-rated movies than I ever cared for. She picks up every one of them she sees that 'looks cool'."

Meepfur
"You're welcome!" Toby wagged his tail a little more as he helped her up. It wasn't that he didn't think Willow could get up herself, it was just polite to offer, like with opening doors, even though he had trouble with that because of his size.

While he got comfortable, he tilted his head at the tiger, ears perking. "B? Oh, wait...that ghost thing, right?" He thought he remembered something like that.

"It's really nothing major, honest. It'll be fine." Eventually. Hopefully. She didn't really want to go blabbering about personal stuff to everyone, since it had to do with Nar and she wasn't sure how he'd feel about that.

"Oh really?" she asked, chuckling a little. "What is it she's been picking up? Some of 'em really aren't too bad."

Willow chuckled, "Yes B's one of my ghost pals." She grinned as she set down crossing her legs infont of her, rather out of habbit than anything else. "I get many funny looks from others when I stalk talking to them." She shurged, "I don't know why."

She took a moment to get comfortable and into a story telling postion. Her tail flickered softly as she smiled, "So I suppose we're ready for that story now eh?" Slightly wishing there was popcorn but they'd have to do without.

LP shurged, "Okay, but you know if you ever need someone to talk to and you can always come find me." She nodded as she offered, "I might not be able to help much but sometimes just going on about a problem helps one feel better."

She shurged, "Everything from Vampire movies to killer movies, like that Hostel movie." She let off a slight shutter as she mentioned the one movie she hated most. "They maynot be that bad it's just that I'd rather he not watch them, if you know what I mean. After all some of those movies just slander and create bad names for her ghost pals and the vampires."

Meepfur
"I guess it's 'cause they can't see 'em, y'know? Looks like you're talking to someone who isn't there." Toby kicked his feet over the edge of the couch.

"Yeah, I'm ready to hear!" His tail swished over the couch fabric as he wagged it, just remembering to tag on, "Please?"

"Thanks, LP." The offer made her smile a little, and she nodded, filing it away for later.

"Hostel, huh? I don't even want to see that." Iden grimaced. That had just looked...ugh. "I still watch vampire movies, though," she admitted with a giggle. "But for some things shouldn't she be alright, if she knows the difference between what's movie and what's real? Especially since she knows some real ghosts and vampires."

Willow shurged, "Maybe that's what it is. Althought I thought everyone knew ghosts were real."

Cracking her knuckles softly she nodded before lauching into the simi short version of the story. "Well it all started when I was woken up by Nayati in a room, much like an empty bedroom, nothing in it at all. There wasn't even the sound of my ghosts, everything was pitch quite." Her tone was soft, and almost fortune teller like quite.

"Me and Nayati were working on a way to figure out how to get out of the room, finally I asked him if he had any of his seeds with him so he could make a vine for one of use to climb up and try the doorknob to see if it was unlocked. Which it was but we both had to push on it; for I was held up by his vines and had trouble trying to open the door without a floor to brace myself on, nor my friends." She paused and looked towards where B was with a nod. 'It was quite painful not to be able to hear or talk to them at all. But once the door was opened we came out into a beautiful forrest."

Nodding softly LP shurged, "No problem, what are friends for?"

Nodding softly she agreed, "I actully went to watch it with a friend of mine and I was trying to find an excuse to leave. That was the most horriblest movie I'd ever seen." She paused looking at Iden before shaking her head, "She does but still, I hate to listen to her whine when they've done something wrong because she actully writes the directors of the movies and sends them nasty letters."

She paused when the vampire thing was mentioned; and with a slight nervous chuckle added, "Hehe, she doesn't really remember Nar." she muttered in a quite tone looking around. "I think that's were she's picked up the habbit of getting books to read with vampire knowlendge in them and is looking for any movies with them as well." She shook her head softly, "I keep telling her those things don't hold squat about the truth."

Meepfur
"Some people do. Mom does, she said Vlad used to be a ghost." He frowned a little. It didn't quite make sense, but Iden had said it, so it must be true.

Willow hadn't been able to hear her ghost friends at all? That would be hard, if she was so used to them being around all the time. "I'm glad you guys got out! But a forest, huh? That must've been cool!"

"Does she?" Iden couldn't help but laugh a little. "Those must be something to read!"

"Oh, she doesn't remember Nar? Was he...gone by the time she grew enough, then?" She frowned a little. Maybe he had been...until the other night, Iden hadn't seen him since the beginning of last summer. "I dunno, though, every now and then they manage to get something right."

Willow nodded softly listening the the whole Vlad thing, "Interesting... I havne't heard that one before."

She nodded, "It was, see we were walking and had seemed like it had been forever since we left that little room, trying to find our way out. So we stopped to ask a grasshopper if he knew where the ghosts were. He said something about a graveyard and to keep going stright out of the forest."

Her tail flickered as she recalled everything that happened, "Well after he'd hopped away we kept moving but it started getting dark after a while and Nayati was getting cold. So once we found a decent place we stopped to hunker down for the night and sleep, it was slightly chilly but it wasn't as bad for me as it was for Nayati. He made a left from a tree big enough for us both to sleep in, and he found him some berries, while I made a fire using one of the hairs from his tail and a bunch of sticks and leaves and dry grass I had gathered."

LP nodded softly, "They are I normally get to read a bit of them before she snatchs them away and runs to the post office drop box."

"He's been gone atleast since then. I beleive he's been gone about a year now." She pondered, "He dissapered a few months before she grew I do beleive." She shurged softly, "Althought she mentioned running into Kesin so he might be coming back soon." Nodding with a shurg, "True they do every now and then."

She paused waiting to bite back was she was about to say. But before she could she muttered looking at Iden, "I hope you don't think I'm trying to be rude or anything, but you look a bit paler than I remember you being."

Meepfur
"A graveyard? Really?" Toby's eyes went wide as he pictured in his mind the scene from Quest for Glory when the hero covered himself in Undead Unguent and went into the gaveyard to pick a mandrake, and all the ghosts were floating around him but couldn't hurt him.

"Little more than, I think." She looked down for a second, playing with her armwarmers again. "Yeah, he umm, came back the other night."

"Oh! Oh, that. Right." Iden doubted LP would freak out on her, but she couldn't help but be a little nervous. Nevertheless, she grinned at the other woman, showing fang.

Willow nodded, "Yes we had to find a graveyard, and apperently something bad was there because the cricket was scare of it." She nodded gentally. "Anyways I ended up having to catch and kill a...mouse... for food." Her ears twitchs slightly in unhappyness of that time, "But yeah me and Nayati had eaten our fill and he'd already gone to sleep while I was slightly awake and wondered off for a few moments before returning to kill the fire and ended up curling up with him to keep him warm."

Her voice trailed off, "He really needs to get some thicker fur." She said with a nod, "But when we woke up he was startled, for apperently I'd grown over the night, and now I'm like an Inch shorter than he is." Thinking with a slightly wrinkled nose she shurged, "Which this is when we started bricking for some odd reason."

LP blinked, "Oh, well I'll have to prod the old goat for leaving us without a warning." She said in that joking sort of way she had.

Pausing at the site of Idens fangs she nodded with a thoughful look before saying, "Ahh I see. I suppose you're resident vampire had a hand in it?" LP didn't seem upset in the least rather she slightly worried, and wondered if Nara had come back last night and if this had something to do with her seeming upset. LP remembered how Nara talked about Iden before they met and he seemed rather wanting to keep her 'safe' atleast that's the sort of vibe she'd gotten off of Nar.

Meepfur
Toby had to perk his ears to pick up on just what it was Willow had to kill. A mouse? What was so wrong about eating a mouse? He didn't quite understand. "Did it taste bad or something?"

"Shorter than him, huh? But you're taller than me now!" He nodded, tilting his head. "Bricking?" One more thing he didn't quite comprehend.

"Well, if you do, you should probably be gentle about it. I doubt he's in the mood." Iden frowned. That would be her fault.

"Yeah, that'd be it," she confirmed. "It was awhile ago now, though, more than a year."

Willow shook her head, "Trea...." she murfed shaking the thought out of her head again. "Very much so," She giggled and ruffled his hair playfully. "Bickering.... I mean we fought."

She shurged, "Anyways we ran into a nice toad and I started talking to him and he took us out of the forest and through sort of a swampy part of the lands, before we came to the graveyard by the time we were almost there I releized that Nayati was no longer behind up but he'd went on ahead of us so he reached the clear patch between us and the gate first. After giving the noble toad a thankyou kiss on the head I scurried to catch up with Nayati were we went to find the Mosuluemn[sp? x-x]

LP nodded softly, "oh..."

Meepfur
"Trea? Are they a Velvet, a mouse Velvet?" If so, Toby had never met them. He definitely needed to start coming around the shop more. He laughed when she ruffled his hair, ducking his head. "Oh, you fought? What for?"

"You kissed a toad?! And you didn't get warts?" He peered at Willow just to make sure.

Iden picked at her boots in the relative silence. "So Willow ran into Kesin, huh? He's gotten a lot better at talking since he's been gone."

Willow nodded, "She's Yume's Velveteen. A child like you." She said softly nodding, "I still haven't figured out why we fought. Nayati just all of a sudden started being mean." A soft pout touched her maw, but that lasted mear seconds, "No silly, you can't get warts from normal toads. Only the ones that've been bewitched."

She chuckled, "But anyways we made it to the Mosulemn and I started hearing the voices 'Help meeee'" she imiated a sound which would've been a fly drowning almost. "So we reached the mosulemn door and I was talking and the little girl from my last quest told me that she and the others had been locked up by Willam Trent's father. So Nayati had to grow vines again that held me up while I picked the lock.... if you've ever seen those old westerns and they're trying to get into the safe by putting their ears to the safe and listening for the clicks, that's how i did that." She trailled off there letting that sink into toby's skull.

LP nodded, "She said he talked rather well. Which is quite a shock considering what he used to talk like. She said he still had that same appiate too." There was a soft giggle from the girl.

"So, since you don't feel like going inside you wanna walk and get an ice cream maybe? I think there's a store open down the street. We might can grab toby and willow something in a small bowl to bring back."

Meepfur
"Oh, I see." Maybe he'd meet Trea sometime...and Nayati, but he wasn't so sure about that, since Willow said he'd been mean to her. Hmm. "Bewitched ones? I guess that makes sense. How do you tell the difference, though?"

"William Trent?" Toby frowned. "Who's that? And what's a...a Western?" The Velvet had never heard of such a thing before, since Iden wasn't a fan or anything.

"Yeah, you can actually have a real conversation with him now. But he's still hungry as ever, huh? Somehow I'm not surprised!"

"Alright, that sounds good," she agreed. "Toby's always happy to eat, too, and he loves ice cream."

"Yeah, Trea's kind of shy thought, and Nayati... well he's nice most of the time but he can be a jerk. Ever since I've grown he treats me differently."

"I'm not sure, I can't find much on him save he owned soemthing durning the civil war." Her tail flickered softly, "But when I do findout who the man was that locked up my friends he better already be dead." She giggled at the 'what's a western thing'. "A western is where a bunch of cowboys plays cops and robbers." She figured that would be the best and simplest way of putting it.

"But yeah I got the lock unlocked but it was suck and wouldn't turn so I could get it off so Nayati helped me and when I finally got the lock off his Vines snapped and we fell to the ground and he landed on his back making sure I landed ontop of him so I wasn't hurt bad... and he had brused ribs, lucky us B tried to help soften the fall before we hit too hard."

LP chuckled, "Well atleast he's civil... wait I might not want to jinx that." She chuckled and nodded, "Kesin's always been a pig though."

With a grin she chuckled getting up and offering a hand to Iden to help her to her feet. "Willow's always loved it as well because of the cream in it. She's spoiled." She said with a laugh.

Meepfur
"Huh." Toby scratched his chin, thinking about this sometime-jerk thing. Vlad was a jerk sometimes, but that was probably different somehow. "He's from that Civil War thing? Maybe I'll ask Mom if she knows, she likes history a lot."

"Oh, cowboys! They ride horses a lot, don't they? Mom said we use saddles like they do." Toby scratched behind one his ears. "I'm glad you didn't get hurt, Willow. It's good you have friends who'll take care of you, yeah?"

"Well, mostly civil," she amended with a small grin. "He'll still crack one."

Iden took LP's hand and stood. "I don't know what exactly it is about it that Toby loves, but boy he does. Just plain old vanilla, too."

Willow grined and nodded, "Yes, As far as I can find. I've been doing research on computers when I go to the libaraies. And that's about all I've found of Willam Trent." Her tail flickered as she shurged softly. "He'll get what's coming to him, that's forsure."

"Yes, Cowboys! And that they do, the bad ones are the ones that rob the safes. So I've learned how to pick a lock by watching them. Funny thing is they've never managed to get the lock unlocked." She giggled, and nodded. "Yes all my friends will take good care of my if I'm ever in need."

She watched Toby scratch and she giggled with a joking tone, "Toby doesn't have fleas does he?"

Nodding LP shurged, "Oh well, you can't teach an old dog all new tricks. Atleast he's more civil than he has been."

With a chuckle LP nodded gentally, "Willow will eat anything that's made from cream though I don't let her eat too much of anything sweet 'cause I'm not sure how much a tiger can take. I know she cant' eat any fruits or veggies. We tried that once." She wrinkled her nose.

Meepfur
"That Civil War was a long time ago, wasn't it? He must already be dead, then, unless he's a vampire or something."

"I didn't know there were bad cowboys. I guess there are bad everythings." Toby frowned a little, but then perked up again. "Well, I'm here too, if you ever need anything!"

"Fleas?" Toby blinked, looking horrified by the thought. "But I'm clean!"

"I think the only thing Toby can't eat is chocolate. He eats meat mostly, and he still likes dog biscuits and things, but he'll eat most anything you give him at least once."

"Yes it did, back when there were like 13 states and all." She nodded, she did do her homework everynow and then.

"Unfourtnally there are bad everythings at some point in time, no matter how nice you wish it." Her tail flickered and she nodded, "Thank you toby," she scooted over beside the little one and gave him a hug. "It's always nice to have people around willing to help."

She giggled as his horrified look, "You can be clean and have fleas. They're attracted by fur mostly. Myself living out in the woods, LP insists on a flea dip on occasion."

LP nodded, "I suppose it's the whole tiger blood that doesn't let her digest them properly as they sould be. Althought I don't know how well she'd do on them now she's grown. I might ask Iris when I see her what she thinks."

Having a bit of skip in her step she grinned, "So what's you're favorite type of icecream?"

Meepfur
"Yeah, you're right. We just have to make sure they don't win, is all!" Toby smiled, wagging his tail as he returned the hug.

"I don't live in the woods, though." Dismayed, he flicked his ears back. "Do you really think I might have fleas?"

"Sounds like a good idea, she might know."

"Me? Peanut butter chocolate chip. I can't have it anymore, though, makes me sick." Iden sighed. "It doesn't really taste as good now, either."

She nodded, "Oh there's no way the bad guys will win." She blinked, "The good people are smarter."

Looking at him in a more serious way she shurged, "Fleas come from anything really, grass, trees, flowers... It's not impossible to get them. But if you start itching alot you might want to get a flea dip for just incase. Better safe than sorry." She said with a nod.

LP nodded in agreement.

"Wow, that kind of sucks. I couldn't imanage not having my favorite things in life. Maybe we can mix up a homemade batch of blood ice cream?" She sort of half way joked, for she wasn't sure how well cream settled with Vampires. "We can always make shaved ice if all else fails." She nodded with a grin.

Meepfur
Now he was worried. He didn't itch that much, but what if he DID have fleas? What if he...what if he gave them to other people, like Willow? That would be awful! "I hope I don't have fleas, then I'd have to stay away from everyone."

"Yeah, it's...a little weird." It didn't bother her usually, but it was kind of disappointing. "Blood Hawaiian ice, huh?" Iden laughed. "There's an idea."

Willow snerked, "No, no you wouldn't have to stay away from everyone Toby. They're just parasites that can easily be cured with something called Advantix and a flea dip. Which most of them drown when you take a nice tub bath anyways." She nodded mater of factly.

LP nodded, "I guess there's somethings in life that just bites.... No pun intended." She added as an afterthought before nodding. "Yes well atleast it'd be something that's for sure. We could start up our own little shaved ice place."

Meepfur
"But if I had them, wouldn't I give them to everyone else?" He scratched his head thoughtfully. "A flea dip? That sounds like it would be weird. What's it like?"

Iden chuckled. "With a menu like that, we'd have all the weirdos in town."

"You could but it's not like they'd kill anyone to have them." Her tail flickered, "it's just like a normal bath but it's got a rather bad smell to it. Atleast I think it does."

LP nodded with a chuckled, "Blood Hawaiin Ice from the finest sources, the best creams, and just for mesure toss in a few coffee types, and we would have all the weirdos in town and maybe Vlad too." She grined, "The Night Crawler Cafe` is what we could call it." She paused before pondering and add on, "The Living Dead Cafe` would work too."

Meepfur
"But then they'd be mad at me for giving them to them." It was an idea he just couldn't abide. "A bad smell? I guess it could be worse." He wiggled his nose.

"Heehee, who's donating?" Iden asked, chuckling. The idea of Vlad licking away at an ice cream cone cracked her up. "I think I like Night Crawler. Y'know, it kind of reminds me of this one series of books about vampires, it's got some places with names like that."

Willow laughed, "They'd get over it dear. Besides they wouldn't know if you gave it to them or not."

She ran her hand through her hair softly pondering. "So what have you been up to lately?"

LP giggled, "I'd offer but I don't know if anyone would want ex-demon blood." She counted on her fingers for a moment, "But I know plently of people and animals that wouldn't give a hoot or a hollar about it."

Nodding when she said she liked Night Crawler as a name there came a grin over the girl's face. "Yeah? Well we just need a building and what not and we can get it started." There was a wink, was LP really serious about the shop? Pausing she looked around and laughed, "Oh wow, there's the Ice cream shop up there." She nodded to a nice large ice cream shaped sign above the door.

Meepfur
"Me? Practicing, mostly. Reading and writing, and riding, and fighting, and manners. All this stuff I need to know for the next time I grow, so I can be a squire!"

"Y'never know, maybe somebody would. Maybe it's got a little extra kick to it, huh?" She grinned at LP, looking her over jokingly.

Iden giggled. "Y'know, Nar would probably think we're crazy right about now." At that thought, her face fell a little, but she went right back to grinning. She wasn't sure if LP was serious about it or just joking, but it was fun to go along with it.

"Oh! Sneaks up on ya, doesn't it?" Iden opened the door, holding it for the other woman.

Willow grined boardly with a chuckle, "Well I can't wait till I have more friends 'my age' to hang around with." Her tail flickered. "A squire sounds lovely thought, are you going to be one like in the mid-evil times?"

LP chuckled, "I doubt it. But who am I to say?" She gave a chuckle.

"Ah yes, Nar would have a duck fit." She nodded admitily before watching Iden's face fall a bit. She gave the woman a quick, one armed snug before grinning. "He'd get over it soon enough, he wouldn't want to miss out on the fun."

Nodding she chuckled, "Indeed it does, Thank you." She slipped in past Iden moving to the counter to look at the speicals they had for the night.

Meepfur
"Then I'll have to hurry and learn, I guess! Then I can grow and be your age again." The younger Velvet was quite serious, and determined to keep his word. "Yep, I hope so! Vlad's kinda been helpin' a little, sometimes. He made me my waster." He patted his wooden practice sword.

"Well, I could always tell you." Iden winked, but then laughed, making it clear she was just joking. She wouldn't really do that to her friend.

She didn't quite have time to return the hug, but she did smile. "As long as you're the one who springs it on him, I've surprised him enough already!"

Following LP in, she too peered at the offerings, mostly out of curiosity. For Toby, she'd just stick with vanilla.

Willow grined softly, "Ahh well you can take a bit of time because you don't need to rush. It's fun to hang out with you as you are." She said with a grin.

Looking at the waster she shurged, "LP's got tons more of those things that I'll ever be able to handle. I think she gets atleast 10 a week now.... she's as bad as Kesin in collecting shinies." She chuckled. "Maybe she can help you out a bit.

LP chuckled, "Ah well then just wait till I get a cut or something and you can heal it up. That way it'll be a pleasent note." She said with a laugh.

"Ah, of crouse. I'd like to see the look on his face when he hears it to." She paused and started to imate what she thought he'd be saying, "You're going to do what? Haven't you two made enough trouble around here as it is? Now you're going to open up a shop? What's next dismembered heads?"

Pondering she tapped the glass, "Hrmm, Rainbow Vanilla I think for willow will do nicely. She's always had a thing for the different colors. Pondering over what to get herself she shurged, "Hrmm... Coconut almond, or chocolate chip...." She asked looking over to Iden for some help.

Meepfur
"I do wanna be older, though. Then I can have a real sword! Seppa promised she'd make me one." He was so looking forward to that.

"Who's Kesin?" he asked. "Another Velvet?"

Iden couldn't help it, at LP's imitation of Nar she fell into a gigglefit. "I'd like to se it, but maybe from far away."

"Huh, rainbow?" She peered at it. "Maybe that's what I'll get for Toby, since it's still the same flavor and all. Just a little cooler." Iden made a face, then. "Eww, coconut. Go for the chocolate chip!"

Willow giggled and nodded, "Well that's great. Then you and LP can.... wait no you can't because her's would squash us." She giggled.

"Oh yes he's another velvet. The resident vampire's vevleteen." She said with a nod. "The way Kesin talks Nara never feeds him though."

A grin and nod as LP giggled as well. "Ah yes, atleast out of hitting distance.... althought that might be a bit impossible for me."

Nodding she pointed to it, "See it's Red, Blue and White. Quite tastey too, has a bit more of the Vanilla in it I think." She nodded and giggled again as Iden made the face at the coconut. "Okay chocolate chip it is then. Ah they're alright. I've had to crack them open when me and Willow stay on the beach for it's too cold in the winter to stay were we live." She wrinkled her nose, "bad thing about caves.... no insullation." [[edited slgihtly for I buggered it up.]]

She nodded at Iden, "I'll pay if you want to order Toby and you something [meaning on the same bill]." She had told one of the waiters how she wanted the ice creams and what size waiting to see what Iden would order.

Meepfur
"That would be a problem." Toby chuckled a little. "Oh, there's another vampire around here? I've never seen them."

"Aww, he wouldn't really hit you, I'm sure. Kesin did say he does an 'angry dance,' though."

"I always thought coconut tasted kind of like soap." She tapped the glass on the case, peering in. "Really, you stay on the beach when it's cold? Why live in a cave, anyway?"

"Alright, if you're sure? I treat next time we come, then." Nodding, she ordered a small of the colorful vanilla for Toby...and a small peanut butter chip for herself, too. "I'll probably regret it later, but hey, people give themselves hangovers all the time."

Willow nodded and chuckled, "Indeed, to both those. See the other Vampire is Naraka, I think you've seen him when you were an animal like me. He's dissapered as far as I know for now. LP said something about him treating Iden like a sister once. But who knows."

LP blinked and tried to imange Nara doing a dance. "The only dance I can see him doing is the drunkard dance." She giggled at the thought of it.

"It's not that bad, good in cakes." she said with a nod, "And pies." She paused looking at Iden with a gental chuckle as she forked out the cash for the ice cream, handing Iden her's and tobys. "Well See the funny thing about it is... I can't really afford a decent house, and well Caves are free." She shurgged taking a lick from the chocolate chip cone she'd ordered herself.

"And yes I'm sure, I don't mind paying. It's not like I have any bills to pay." She nodded as she watched Iden, "Ehh not all the time. I've quite muchly cut out a good bit of my drinking." She admited, "And to imange I have a whole 'celler' full."

Meepfur
A wolf pelted in dark brown fur padded down the sidewalk with a clicking of claws, nose working to sort out the scents that blanketed the street and came from the buildings that lines it. It was a little on the large side for a wolf, maybe, but certainly nothing impressive. The oddest thing about it was that it had something of a hanger-on.

After a great deal of grumbling about it, Vlad was coming with Toby to the shop. It was most definitely not at the top of his list of things to do. Ever. But Turmali was sleeping, Iden was off somewhere, and the blasted dog wouldn't leave him alone.

Toby wasn't allowed to come by himself at night, and he'd gotten desperate enough to bother the vampire about it. And he'd gotten desperate enough to end the pestering that he'd finally agreed.

...of course, the other factor was that he was actually curious about the place. Not that he'd admit it, oh no. Or that he was bored.

Once they got to the door of the shop, Toby's perch put him at just the right height to turn the door handle, allowing them inside. Secretly, the little dog was quite pleased with himself for having managed this trip!

Once inside, he took advantage of his temporary height to have a good look 'round and see if anyone else was here. Sid had been way up high on a dresser last time, after all! And he had no doubts he'd be back on the ground quite soon now that they'd arrived; the only reason he wasn't in the first place was that Vlad had gotten impatient with having to go slowly enough for him to keep up.

LP whisked her way in with Willow, she was actully happy about coming for once. She was already in the mood for halloween, Hair all done up lolita style blood red and black clothing, little demon horns. Though as a past demon it was killing her deep down inside but now she was much more at peace with it on the outside.

She was singing some tune that was rather strange. Almost in an forgotten tounge of her native orgian.

Willow on the other hand was not happy about LP's stature.... she'd been happier when LP was working to get things for her little house but now... now it was just creepy.

"What's wrong with you!?" She muttered meloncholy like. As they Entered the shop she paused.... Ears down to her skull stareing at the wolf, how'd he gotten there in the first place was beyond her but then she noticed toby.

Blinking she quaried, "That thing with you?" She asked seemingly digustied with it.

LP on the other hand just sorta blinked at it and whinced when Willow spoke.... That was not a thing to say around here, and she was ready to grab the tigeress and move if need be.

Meepfur
The Velvet was just clambering down from Vlad's back when LP and Willow found their way in, and he offered the pair a cheerful greeting. "Hello, Miss LP! Hi, Willow!"

His wolf ears had at first tipped forward in casual interest when the woman and her animal-child entered, but they soon swept up to their full height after her words met them.

Quite calmly, Vlad took a step forward - close enough to look more imposing, but neither close enough nor poised to move any closer. A low growl rumbled up from his throat as he lowered his head to stare into the tiger's eyes with his own red ones. He was not only clearly intelligent, but possessed an arrogant look of authority.

"Take care with your words, little cat; some things just might understand them." His words were projected, rather than spoken aloud, something he wasn't capable of with this changed set of vocal chords.

Just as he was giving his little warning, Toby put his hands on his hips and grimaced at Vlad. He doubted the vampire was going to do Willow any harm, but still! She was his friend!

"Sorry, Willow. He really isn't a thing, though. This is Vlad!"

LP's interested perked at the mention of the vampires name and moved closer to inspect the wolf form. "Ah so this is the vampire I've heard so much about." She grinned, "I expected a man more so than a wolf, but I guess one takes apperences as they come."

She moved to the couch and sat upon it's backing watching the wolf crossing her legs as she did.

Willow tilted her head and laughed. "Indeed. I thought there was something odd about him." She walked over to toby watching Vlad for a second. "How've you been since our last meeting?" She quaried as she removed her backpack letting it fall to the floor out of harms way.

Meepfur
His expression was as close to a lifted brow as he could get in his current form, and he watched her inspection with bemusement. As she went about it, he lifted a paw to scratch casually behind one ear, unbothered.

"And some take appearances as they choose," he responded, while making his way over to the other couch in the room, nose working all the while, idly curious...and particularly intrigued by a certain door (that happened to go to the basement). But he showed little sign of that interest, instead continuing on and hopping up onto the sofa.

It was comfortable enough.

"I've been great!" Toby declared, tail wagging. "I saw Sid just the other day, and he grew too! He even has more fingers now, and hair too! I wish I had five fingers." He wiggled his four with a sigh, but quickly brightened. "Just have to grow up quick, right? Catch up with you guys!"

LP looked at him and shook her head watching him, her eyes shifting over to a certain unnamed door and hoped that Nar wasn't there. She didn't bring the popcorn so she'd have nothing to eat while watching the two if they ever met. [XD running gag no?]

"Wish I could" she muttered crossedly almost inaudibly as soon she left her prech to lay on her back where the set cushions where and let her legs dangle over the sofa. "So you're Iden's room mate so to speak no?"

Willow laughed at Toby, "Toby dear dont' be in a hurry, Yes you need ot catch up but I'm sure you have much more to learn before you grow." She grined before pulling out a set of rather small marbles.

"Have you ever played marbles?" She asked holding up the bag.

Meepfur
"So to speak," he replied in an amused tone, not thinking on whatever it was that she might have muttered. Instead, he pawed a bit at the sofa cushions before settling down.

"But I've learned lots! How to ride and shoot and fight, and all that other stuff I'm supposed to know before I grow. I want to get bigger," he explained, "Be stronger."

"Marbles?" Toby tipped his head curiously. "No. Aren't they someting you lose?"

LP stared at him for a second before shurging and reaching for a newspaper on the table. Looking for the only section she cares to read not finding it she pulls out the obits looking to see if she knew anyone.

Willow nodded, "Yes but maybe there's something you still have to learn before you can grow." She nodded wisely looking around the room for a second before shaking her head. "Can you two shut up. I mean Christ I can't hear myself think." She muttered towards one of the shelves slightly growling.

She laughed once she'd regained her composure. "No My dear toby, they're not just something you lose. They're also used for a game." She nodded and sat down putting a circle on the floor and placeing the marbles inside. Leaving the two biggests ones out. "See what you do is you take the big marble and roll it into the group of the other marbles and try to knock as many as you can out." She pointed to the outside of the circle, "And then you get to keep those marbles."

Meepfur
Vlad watched the costumed woman with a deliberately bored-looking interest. It wasn't as though there was much else to look at here, except for a great deal of toys and a noisy pair of children.

"I dunno what." The little dog frowned, thinking hard. "Unless I forgot something." ..oh no, what if he had forgotten something? what if there was something else? What if he never remembered and then he could never grow, and everyone would just keep getting bigger than him? How was he supposed to protect anyone if he was small forever? How was he supposed to be a knight?

His expression shifted to one of near-horror as he followed that line of thought, numbly listening to her explain the game of marbles and entirely missing her aside to her ghosts before voicing his distress, "Oh Willow, what if I did?!"

LP raising a brow she could feel Vlads eyes on her quite like a pair of dog eyes that were bored stiff. "If you didn't happen to have a humanily form under that wolf skin, Vlad, I'd throw a stick." He eyes were on the paper but her mind was slightly realing with information long given to her by Iden.

Willow looked at Toby and sighed, she'd not ment to upset him. "Toby dear, clam down." She said with a soft smile patting the floor next to her. "I'm sure you'll find what the doors are waiting on to let you grow. Don't worry, they're just waiting for the opertune moment."

She seemed slightly worried she'd up set her friend with such petty thoughts he shouldn't been worried about growing, instead he should be worried about having fun and being a kid while he could even with his lessons. She couldn't talk much but she did have fun doing what she loved.

Meepfur
"And if I didn't happen to be more than a dog in this form or that, I might fetch it. However, if you'd like to play that game, you'd need that one there." He jerked his head in Toby's direction...he wasn't mocking, not really, but it was certainly a joke.

"I guess so," Toby conceded and sat, still restless and worried but willing to let it go. Willow was probably right. He'd grow eventually, he knew, it was just so hard to be patient sometimes. "Sorry."

LP didn't know if she ought to laugh or just give him an odd look so she opted for the later and blinked. Shurging she tossed the paper back on the table and sat up like a 'normal' person pausing to rub her head for the amount of blood flow to it. "Ugh... so hard to get use to this." She shook her head making the slight pain stop.

Willow looked towards Vlad for a second hearing his comment and shaking her head. She chuckled at toby and gave him a hug. "Of crouse you'll grow dear. Don't worry, it just takes some longer than others. It was almost a year before I grew to this." She chuckled. "Don't worry, when it's you're time you'll find yourself in a quest."

Meepfur
Vlad returned her look with a steady one, dismissing it with a slight motion of his head before stretching just a little. He hadn't honestly thought there would be anyone else here, considering the hour it was to most, and he rather preferred to be as he 'should' be with others around.

It was the work of a moment, if not without cost, to change and make himself as he should be. Any discomfort or weariness it might cause was well-concealed, and the vampire looked none the worse for wear as he uncurled his now two-legged form, setting his feet on the floor and leaning forward with his arms on his legs. Feeling a good deal more comfortable, he inquired, "Surely a pair of costume horns cannot be so hard to tolerate?"

When she hugged him, Toby wagged his tail and beamed up at her. Yeah, it'd be alright. He'd get there when he got there. If it had taken Willow a year, he still had plenty of time.

"So what's the deal with marbles?" he asked, the explanation having mostly escaped him.

LP looked at him, a soft shutter passed. It was still horribely odd to see people do that. As soon as it passed she rolled a shurg softly, "Ah but it's not the plastic horns..." She said softly taking the things off and poking at them. "I use to be a demoness..... well that was a while ago... I've still not got use to this weak excuse of a body." She made sure that weak was an implied word here.

Willow nodded, "Right the marbles. See what you do is you roll the big one into the little ones and try to knock them out of the circle." She explained glad to see toby cheering up. "And then you pick up the ones you knocked out and set them in a pile. Who ever has the most at the end wins"

Meepfur
That kind of reaction never ceased to be at least faintly amusing, and it was something he hadn't seen in some time. Iden was not only used to such things, but fascinated by them...although fascination suited him just as well. "Is that so?" he asked slowly, giving her a careful, interested look-over. "I didn't know it was possible to change one's nature in such a way."

He'd gone from paying attention to the woman because he had nothing better to do, to paying attention because she was actually interesting. "I can imagine that would be a...trying change indeed."

Toby listened to the repeated explanation with perked ears, quite attentive, and finally nodded. "That's easy! I can do that."

She nodded softly, shurging. "Well there they can do as they please and not worry about anything else too much." Her words were rather bitter as she spoke.

"Trying try almost deadly." She looked around shop for a second before stopping to watch Willow and Toby. "I suppose that it being over and done with isn't that bad of a thing."

Willow giggled, "You want to go first?" She pointed, "I counted about twenty of them." They were all packed as close together as possilbe and all different colors, some shiney some sparkled and some just had pretty designs in them.

Meepfur
Vlad tilted his head, and fine strands of hair fell forward from behind his ear. It must not have bothered him, because he let it be instead of pushing it back again.

"My guess would be that over is better than still being in transition?" It was truly a guess, though. The vampire had little firsthand experience with demonkind, and none at all with becoming human...only with losing his humanity. "Was this a choice of yours, or...something else?"

Toby's eyes scanned the fascinating variety of marbles, licking his muzzle while he considered them before he looked back to Willow. "You can go. 'Ladies first' is what my sister says."

"It wasn't mine. Mostly the clan thought I was going to soft and had too many firends in the 'wrong places' that endangered them so they stripped me of everything. They only worry about themselves."

She shurged, "I'm not sure I'd ever get use to this pathic thing but it's better than having family members chasing you."

Willow laughed and shook her head, "I have an idea why don't we flip a coin to figure out who goes first in the game? Ladies go first is a lovely concept while having an even chance at playing first in games is more fun."

Meepfur
He had to wonder just what kind of friends and places those might have been; but for now he stuck to wondering, and leaned back against the couch.

On the heels of her next observation, he chuckled. The sound was dark, and the humor was far from jovial, but there was a certain sympathy to it. "Family certainly has a way of making itself a problem, doesn't it?"

"If that's what you want to do," Toby answered, nodding. An even chance would be a little bit more fun, anyhow. She was right about that.

"Very much so." She said nodding softly as she shurged, "It's a way of life though." Her words faded as she stared out the window for a moment.

"Have you seen much of the world?" She questioned trying to remove the subject from the dreary thoughts of her past.

Willow Grinned and nodded taking out a small dime. "Call it? Heads or Tails??" [1 or 2] xD

Meepfur
"If an unfortunate one," he finished, before turning as she did to something easier to speak on.

"A very little," he admitted. "And what travelling I did was out of necessity, more so than for anything else. As for you?"

Toby thought for a moment, then nodded decisively. "Tails!" He did have one himself, after all.

LP nodded softly before pondering. "Not much just between relms more or less. Thanks to the toyshop I've been able to go to the bahamas and japan. As well as where I live."

Willow fliped the coin watching it and catching it in the air flipping it over. "Tails you go first!" She handed toby the larger marble.

Meepfur
"To the toyshop?" Vlad inquired, curious. What would this place have to do with...going on vacation?

Though it might have been pure chance, Toby still beamed proudly, accepting the marble with a wag of his tail. "Thanks!"

Licking his lips again in his concentration, he gave the marble a throw to see how many he could knock form the circle.

LP nodded. "Yes." She said simply looking at the door. "You'd be surprized where it'll lead to."

Willow clapped as toby hit three marbles out of the circle. "Now you can take those and sit them in a pile." She picked up the other marble and started to shine it so she'd have a bit better of a grip when rolling it.

Meepfur
"Hmm," he sounded thoughtfully, not skeptical but rather intrigued. While this sort of place-hopping still struck him as unusual, he'd mostly gotten used to the idea. "Tell me, how does it work?"

Aww. He'd been hoping for something a little more impressive, but three wasn't too bad. He could have missed completely, after all! So he picked up the three smaller marbles, looking at them in the furry palm of his hand for a moment before he set them in their own little pile and waited for Willow's shot.

LP shurged softly. "Truefully I haven't figured it out quite yet myself. But it seems if you think of the place you want to be you'll go there otherwise you'll end up where you came from." She looked at him, "I mean it's kind of... well I don't know how to explain it, but I could walk out there right now and get a coconut. I suppose it's the same magic that allows the velvets to grow."

Willow twitched her tail and looked at the marbles aiming. And then letting the marble roll to strike the others. She waited to see how many would roll out of the circle

Meepfur
"Is that so? Well, she neglected to mention that." Iden really never had said anything of the sort. Maybe this little trip had been worth it after all! Suddenly he wasn't quite so bored anymore, and a grin spread over his features. "Interesting. Very interesting indeed."

And in one fell swoop, Willow had knocked a lot of the leftover marbles out of the circle. There were only 7 left! If he figured it right, the best he could do now was to tie her. "Wooow, Willow, you're really good at this!"

"Oh? Well it's not something everyone knows about." She said with a shurg. "I found out sort of on accident. And well Acia, a sugarglider child found out in a rude mannor herself." LP scratched the back of her neck. "There's some that doubt this though."

Willow's ears twitched as she watched most of the marbles move out of the ring. "Pish.... that was just a lucky shot." She gathered the ten marbles and set them in a pile really rather surprized at that.

Meepfur
"I imagine it would be something of a shock to discover such a thing by accident." Especially if you wound up somewhere that was a bad place to be. Certainly something to remember...he'd be careful not to let his mind wander too much as he passed through that door, just in case. "I can see how it could be disbelieved, though."

"Still, it was great!" Taking up the throwing marble, Toby decided that this time he'd try a little more seriously. So he hunkered down, took aim, and gave it another shot.

Nodding softly she chuckled. "Oh yes the way she talked she ended up in like a desert. With rather large birds that would've enjoyed her for a snack." Looking towards the basement door from the corner of her eye she shurged. "It just seems some would take it better than others."

Willow giggled and clapped. "Yay toby! You got the rest of the them! So that means we tied."

Meepfur
Vlad caught the look, which happened to be towards the door that had earlier caught his eye, and tipped his head in inquiry. "Oh?"

Toby watched intently as the last of the marbles rolled out of the circle, then breathed a sigh of relief. They'd all made it out! He and Willow had tied! And that meant he hadn't lost, and that was good.

"Can we play again?" he asked, tail wagging. He liked this game!

LP shurged, "Just a resident.... he's nothing but a.... Well he's just not that easy to trust anything." Looking at Vlad, "He's barely around anymore so I doubt you'd run into him."

Willow giggled, "Certainlly if you like." She placed her marbles back into the circle waiting on toby to place his back as well tightly packed.

Meepfur
A little thinking, and the right connections were easily made. "This is Naraka you speak of, I take it?"

Stilling the wiggling of his tail for the moment, Toby placed his marbles in the circle with Willow's, careful to pack them in just right. It was tricky business, though, and it took him longer. But finally, he looked up from his efforts with an accomplished smile. "You first this time?"

"Oh aye." She said, "I take it Iden has mentioned him a few times?"

Willow giggled and nodded approval for how he packed the marbles. "Okay if you wish. That way we can just take turns on who goes first." She picked up the marble and rolled it at the others to see how many she'd get out.

Meepfur
He nodded his answer. "We've met, as well, but it's been some time."

"That was good!" Toby exclaimed, watching the eight marbles clunk and roll their way out of the circle, leaving him with twelve to work with. He'd need to get a pretty good shot in if he wanted to win.

Once Willow collected her marbles, he'd give it a try himself.

LP blinked, "Awww man and I missed it. I would've brought popcorn." She paused... he might not appericate the joke as much as Iden would've.

Willow grinned, "Thanks. You to!" She looked at the 7 left. It'd be a merical.... or reallyyy odd, if she hit all of them.

Meepfur
Vlad quirked an eyebrow, unamused by the humor; amused by the woman, but not by what she'd just said. "I doubt you would have found it so terribly impressive as what you might imagine."

He'd only hit five, and neatly shuffled them over to his side, and then Willow hit six! Six to go with her eight from before, and now there was only one marble left. Toby had quite clearly lost, and by a wide margin.

"Told you you were good at this!" he proclaimed.

LP blinked, "No? It still would've been funny to seen how nara would've taken to you." She was now looking for something to do. "Say where about's Iden on a night like tonight?"

"Next time I'll bring jacks." She said sticking her tounge out. "So now what do you want to do?" Her tail flickered as she waved a paw trying to dismiss the ghosts behind her. She'd been with them most of the day. Turning around she muttered, "I know I know... Can I not have an hour or two to play?" She saif looking slightly crossed.

Meepfur
"I don't track her every move," he answered, with just a hint of annoyance in his voice. The girl might be his, but that didn't make him her keeper in every way. "Your guess could be as good as mine."

"Jacks?" Toby asked, blinking. "How do those work?" Like with the marbles, he was utterly unfamiliar with 'jacks.' It wasn't that he led a childhood deprived of games, Willow just knew different ones.

But then she was talking to her ghosts again; Toby still didn't quite trust this ghosty business. "What are they doing? Are they bothering you?"

"Well I was just asking." LP said with a shurg, "don't go getting all huffy about it. Not like I asked you to go out in the sunlight."

They're made of metal sorta look like stars. And They have a bouncey ball and everytime you bounce the ball you have to pick up as many as you can."

She looked at him tilting her head softly. "No not really just being annonying they've gotten to be sort of like parents."

Meepfur
Following that, Vlad was silent, but it was hardly a defeated silence - more of a 'That's not worth wasting a reply on.' So he didn't.

"So they stick to the ball? They're sharp?" That was what it sounded like to him.

"Like parents? But you've got Miss LP, what d'you need them for parents for?" Toby was dubious, and also somewhat suspicious. He didn't like not being able to see these things. He twitched his ears, eyes flicking around the room.

LP got up from the couch and walked over to one of the shelves looking for something that caught her eye to play with.

She giggled, "No no toby. The ball bounces you pick the jacks up with you're paw! You have to get as many as you can before the ball bounces back down."

"I know.... they just think they're better at it then her I guess. I dunno."

Meepfur
Toby's ears fell back a little, and he tilted his head to the side, trying to puzzle out how that worked. "I don't think I get it."

"That's an awful lot of parents to have. That's gotta get hard."

"I'll have to show you one day."

"I know it is... and it's a bother." She looked around.

Meepfur
"Okay," he replied, just before giving into a huge yawn, long tongue curling. The lateness of the hour had finally struck him; he was a very tired puppy.

LP looked over at Toby her head tilted. "It is getting late..."

Willow giggled at he yawned and shook her head, "Are we a sleepy toby?" She asked tilting her head as she leaned on her arms.

Little Minds; Big Thoughts
[Post Number: ooo73]

Let me tell you, this world is not easy to live in. Having to put up with these people will drive you insane. I've gotten use to LP but I have far too much on my plate to give all the ghosts my individual attention.

I'm not LP I don't have the attention span of a fish and can get a million things done. In a few hours. Oh well.

But anyways I've been trying to get LP to tell me why Nayati keeps acting so stange. She always tells me not to worry about it, or she'll explain it when I'm older. When she walks off I hear her mutter something about 'birds and bees' but what does she mean?

Besides if she waits any longer i'm going to be an old lady. e-e

RP With Moo: "They do What!?"
[Post Number: ooo74]

Willow shoved her way into the shop looking around with a sigh sitting on the floor. It looked like the toy shop had been empty for a while. Still nicely kept but it felt empty, like hardly anyone came around anymore. With a sigh she shook her head.

She was confused. She'd been this way for a while and LP wasn't helping, she kept saying 'I'll explain it later.' She didn't want it explained later she needed to know now.... and her ghosts weren't helping either. If anything they had become more confusing.

Moofuls
It wasn't long before the door swept open on a gust and the glider darted inside, letting the door swing closed behind her. She hovered in the air, glancing curiously around the little shop for any sign of life, and shot towards Willow when her eyes fell on the tiger. "Willow!" The glider cage to an abrupt stop mid-air a couple of inches from the tiger, and, after a second thought, dropped to stand on the floor, smiling up at her. "It's so good to see you again!"

Her tail flickered stuck in thought until the glider came and stood infront of her. Startled Willow looked at Acia before giving a soft chuckle. "Ohhhh, hehe. Sorry, Hi how's it going?"

She for frist time sense she'd grown had managed to get some peace and quite to look for a friend who might know a bit more about things that she did, and while acia was smart she didn't know if she could help sort things out. There a was a soft frown but it was quickly hidden with a smile.

Moofuls
Willow's expression was enough to make Acia back up a pace, slightly embaressed for her rather rude greeting. The poor girl didn't get out much anymore. Almost all of her time was spent in her lab, and the little that wasn't was in the forest; social contact, as a result, was often awkward. "Sorry," she mumbled sheepishly, ears falling back somewhat. "I'm doing well enough, I suppose. How are you?"

Willow blinked at acia for a moment and started laughing. "Aw don't apologize, I wasn't expecting anyone so sooon." She grinned and hopped up and tackled acia in a hug. "I've missed youuuu and everyone else. I come here and there's never anyone here anymore."

She grined and murred, "I've been alright.... confused as hell, thanks to LP. Which I'm not sure LP makes a lick of sense anyways." Her tail flickered before sitting back down. "Sooo how's Moo and the rest of you're family?"

Moofuls
Laughter?! Had she said something else wrong?! The glider carefully picked over her words, searching for something she might have said improperly, and was caught completely off guard by the hug as a result. She squeaked in surprise at the embrace, but smiled and gladly returned it before sitting down as well.

"I've missed you too... And everyone! Erae and Nayati and Sid... I haven't been here in so long, have you spoken with them? I get caught up in my work," she explained, waving a hand dismissively. "Um... They're...doing well? Everyone's so spread out now, I hardly see them. There was veryone's been holed up inside, avoiding the sickness. But it's over now, I'm told."

Willow chuckled at the look on acia's face. "I'm sorry... I've just been in sort of random mood swings for a while. I was laughing at myself." She explained.

Tail flickering... "Well I've not seen Erae and Si in a long time... I seen Nayati but it's been several months..." She sighed with this sort of longing look. "I wish I could talk to him again.... I need to ask him something." Her tail twitched before looking at acia and nodding. "LP's just been a hermit.... I don't htink there's much else to say there. I think she's waiting to hear tale of Nara being back so she can harass him." She chuckled, "I think when he left she started missing talking to him because he'd get mad and start yelling and they'd get into a argument. Which who knows." She shurged again.

"As far as I know there's not as much sickness still a few cold bugs and what not." Her tail flickered again before growing serious like. "Acia can I ask you something... well it's sorta asking and sorta telling... and you promise not to laugh?"

Moofuls
"Oh..." Well, that made sense, Acia decided. She hadn't thought she had said anything wrong, but then, that was usually the case, even when she did. Her problem was that she took things far too literally, Moo had said on numerous occasions. She should consider people's emotions and intentions before responding, and, as eager as she was for conversation when she could get it, that rarely happened. Acia talked too fast.

"Yes, I saw Nayati months back as well... I was expecting him to be here today, but I suppose he isn't. Oh well. You are!" She smiled clasping her hands. "Nara? That vampire from forever ago? Is he really? I'd like to see him again! He was always very grouchy... But we got along well enough, after a point. I think." As far as she could remember, anyway, which wasn't saying much. Acia didn't like being disliked, and often in her memories a situation might twist a bit to end with both parties getting along.

"Cold bugs are tolerable," Acia assured her with a nod. "Though I haven't found a vaccine for that just yet. My vaccine for the Smog has been injected into all of the SkullMonkeys, and we're making doses for the Jivvins, though I don't believe it's lethal to them..." And now she was rambling. She trailed off, attempting to catch her train of thought, then glanced back up to Willow with a smile. "Yes? I won't laugh, I promise."

Willow watched acia for a while nodding here and there. "Yes I am here" she said with a wistful smile. "I don't know I think he showed up one day but I haven't heard anything as of late." She shurged, "She still goes on about that day with the zombies you guys had."

"Aye" She blinked, "They have cold medicans... or you do mean a cure for the common cold?" Her tail twitched as she tilted her head and lofted a brow. "You made a smog vaccaine? But how does that help the air quality? That'll only allow it to get wrose."

She paused and took a breath before going on to explain her problem. "Well you seee, I've been having these strange dreams anddd well I can't stop thinking about Nayati and how he acted when I grew...." She tilted her head, "The dreams are kinda.... well I don't know but in a way they're creepy." She couldn't figure out how to explain it. "LP won't explain anything to me when I tell her about them.... she said it's just something that happens.... but why would I only have dreams about guys..." She looked at Acia. "Do you have any clue?"

Moofuls
"Mn, with my tornado," Acia agreed proudly, smiling fondly at the memory of her creation. Admittedly, half of it had been by chance, and it had very quickly gotten out of her control, but it had kept the zombies away from them. It had.

"A cure," he replied matter-of-factly, nodding, not at all daunted by how close to impossible the task would be. "But it's proving very difficult, the Smog was much easier." She paused, then laughed, shaking her head. "Oh, no, not that kind of smog. SMOG was the shortened name for the virus that was attacking all of the Skull Monkeys, the one that caused the plague--I forget the official name. Nell and I created a vaccine for it."

She fell silent once more while Willow explained about her dreams, blushing faintly beneath her fur and ducking her head. She absently tapped her fingertips together, stalling for time and carefully choosing her words when they did come. "I cannot...deny that I have had dreams of the sort myself, and they are a bit..um...unnerving, but I hardly think it's anything to dwell on. Really, Willow, I think I'm about the last person to help you with this. Tia's always teasing me because of how little I know--but there! Tia could help you!"

Willow chuckled. "Yeah?" She nodded, she remembered LP having said soemthing about that as well.

"Oh well good luck with that one." Willow nodded tail flickering softly.

When Acia hid she and finally amited that she had those sorts of dreams herself Willow sighed and leaned back. "So I'm not the only one... that's good. For a moment there I was wondering if I was being.... well you know..." Her tail flickered at the mention that Tia could help and she grinned. "Ohh can we go talk to her?"

Her ears now were perked up and curious as to Acia's answer. Maybe this Tia could explain things and not just confuse her worse as LP had been doing.

Moofuls
"No, no, I think it's fairly typical, from what Tia's told me," Acia assured her, nodding. "We can go right now, if you'd like. It's a bit of a walk... I normally fly." She tapped her chin, glancing thoughtfully around the room. "If we had some way for you to fly, too, it'd be much easier..."

"Well that's good." Willow chuckled, "If tigers were ment to fly we'd have wings or a parasal." She got up and streached. "So... I suppose if it's a long walk we ought to get going."

Moofuls
"I suppose..." She sighed and took to the air, then remembered Willow would be walking and dropped back to the ground, leading the way out the door. It was a long walk for the little Velvets, and not one that Acia was particularly fond of, as it led them straight through the woods before opening to the clearing where the House was located. Acia led the way up the patch to the front door, opening it with a gust, then hurried on towards the room she shared with Tia and Miire. "..I hope she's home," she added as an afterthought once they were inside.

Willow tilted her head, "mmhm," She didn't know quite what to say. "Well maybe the'll make velveteen sized airoplaines one of these days or we could make something like on chip and dale rescuse rangers. They have a bottle and a balloon taking them around places."

She knew how acia like to build things, maybe it'd be on of her projects. "Maybe she is." Willow followed walking though. She didn't do much running unless there was danger around.

Moofuls
"Moo used to have an airplane, but it was big and we'd be too small to fly it. I made a parasail type thing once for Ana so we could fly and find our way back to the shop, but that took time and we don't have any of the supplies I'd have needed..." She shrugged. "Maybe I'll alter another remote controled car. Tia's been bugging me to do so."

She led the way into the bedroom, pausing once inside the door. The room was divided into three by a series of tables placed a short distance from the ground, each decked out as a bedroom of its own, but in miniature. One tabletop was a horrible mess, with clothes and items tossed haphazardly across its 'floor', while another was absolutely spotless and seemed to have only the bare minimum--clearly it's owner didn't spend much time there.

The third was about as girlified as was humanly possible, decked out in all shades of pink and purple and sparkles and ponies and whathaveyou. It was cluttered, but not messy, there was just an excess of everything that would have been rather smothering were it not for the space allowed by how far above the Velvets the ceiling was. There was a doll's canopy bed, upon which sat Tia, who was lazily picking pieces off a Hershey's kiss while watching some atrocious soap opera on a to-them-massive TV placed on the edge of her table.

The girl frowned at the arrival of the two Velvets, waving a piece of chocolate at them in a disapproving manner. "I told you to stay out of my room, Acia. You have a TV in your lab."

The glider rolled her eyes, lifting a hand towards the tiger beside her. "Willow needs your help."

Willow would've by this time backed out of the room having seen the chocolate waved at them. "She's busy..." She whispered fixing to turn around. "Maybe we oughta come back later?"

Willow looked at the table with all the pinks and purples and held a murf, it was so bright it almost made her want to go blind. Besiding living with LP you're use to no so much pink and pleanty of reds, blacks and dark purples.

Moofuls
"She's not busy," Acia assured her, catching Willow by the wrist before she could run off. "Tia never does anything worthwhile."

The girl, only an inch or two taller than the glider, shot Acia a glare, but reached over to press the mute button on the mini-remote at her side--clearly another invention of the glider's. "What's up? Make it quick."

Willow murfed. Okay so suddenly she had turned chicken, shaking it off she gave a nervous chuckle. If the girl made fun of acia what would she do when willow asked her stuff.

"Well..." She said after the mute button had been hit... "See, I've been having these strange dreams sense I grew... mostly about guys..." She stopped and thought about it and nodded, "And see LP won't tell me nuffing. And when she says anything about it, she's all confusing like and talks rather fast.... almost like she can't say much about what I'm dreaming about....." Her tail flickered and as an after thought she added, "Did did mutter one something about damn brids and bees."

She shifted neverously looking at the other girl.

Moofuls
Tia blinked, then laughed aloud, shaking her head. "Awww, the liddle Velvets all grown up now~?" She affected a sugary sweet tone, as if talking to a small child, and promptly doubled over giggling once more. Seconds later the girl slid off her bed and stepped over to Willow, circling around the tiger and eyeing her thoughtfully. "Absolutely adorable, we've got a fun chat ahead of us... Tell me about these dreams. Is it always the same guy? Different guys? Who's the guy? Do I know him?" Gossip time.

Acia rolled her eyes and dropped to sit on the bed, tucking her legs up beneath herself.

Willow blinked, laughing she deserved that. Looking at Acia she tilted her head wondering if this was what acia ment. "Well... Yeah it's always the same guy... And I don't think you know him."

Her tail flickered as she watched her circle around.

Moofuls
"Same guy," she echoed, grinning fit to burst. "It's simple then, isn't it?" she asked, planting herself infront of Willow. "You've got a crush~~. You like him! You think he's seeeexy~, you want to huuug him, you want to kiiiiiiiss him~..." And so on and so forth. Tia was perhaps more amused than she should be, and was doing some sort of little dance as a result, singing what was undoubtably from some movie or TV show she had seen.

Acia sent Willow an apologetic look, shaking her head in disgust at her sister's antics.

Willow set down the floor and looked like a deer in the headlights. Watching Tia dance around blinking, then looking to acia with a questiong look that clearly stated, 'is she insane or does she mean it?'

"Umm..... okay, is there anything I should do about it?? Because he acts all funny when we run into each other..." Her ear twitched wondering if she had a crush on him, did he too have this thing called a crush.

Moofuls
Acia could only shrug in reply. She didn't understand Tia in the slightest. Most of the time they just avoided each other.

"Then he must like you too!" she squealed, pausing in her little dance. "So you just have to win him over!" Grinning, she stepped back over to Willow, plucking critically at the sleeve of her shirt. "Hmm... Well, we'll worry about that later. You're obviously clueless. This could take some time. Let's see... Birds and the bees, hmm?" Her eyes glittered, and she gestured to the bed. "Sit. I'll explain."

Willow murfed, "There's nothing wrong with my clothing, They work fine. After all you try talking to ghosts in something less comfortible." Her arms crossed as she walked over to the bed.

She got up and moved over to the bed looking at acia with a slight shake of her head. When she sat on the bed she crossed her legs and watched Tia

Moofuls
And Tia explained, in perhaps much more detail than was actually needed. She covered about ever possible detail of anything remotely related to her topic before she was finished, often covering rather vulgar aspects if only to see her sister turn bright red from the wording. The whole explanation took a good while, but finally Tia stepped back with a deep breath, skipping her speech to be sure she hadn't forgotten anything, then planting her hands on her hips. "And there you go!"

Willow's eyes wided as the explation went on and on. Finally when it was done her eyes were about ready to pop out of her skull. "Ehh..... Greeatttt~" She said not really sure if it was apporated for an ew or if she'd be better off with a brain scrubber she was slightly sorry she asked but now she knew and it was better than being confused.

"Okay so now what?" Her tail flickered slightly.

Moofuls
Tia shrugged. "You wanted an explantion, you got an explanation. If he already likes you, there's not much I can do to help you along. You're going to have to reel him in yourself. At least you know what you're feeling now."

"Yup, I just wonder if he knows the same thing.... if that's why he's acting odd." Her tail flickered as she wondered over this.

She tilted her head looking at Tia. "Right." She nodded looking to Acia, waiting to see what she'd say.

Moofuls
"Who knows? Boys aren't the brightest things in the world," Tia replied fondly, chuckling.

Acia was incrediably flustered by the whole explanation. At Willow's glance she blushed all the more and quickly climbed to her feet. "Yes, well, um, thank you for the, um...enlightening explanation, Tia, I think we'll be..um...yes." She lost her train of thought, hesitated, then hurried to the edge of the table and dropped to the floor, hurrying towards the door.

"Right." Willow said doubting that who she 'had a crush on' was stuipd.

She got up, clearly she'd gotten over most the shock but she still held back any shuttering she wanted to do. "Acia's right we better leave." She got up and walked off towards the edge of the table before turning and bowing to Tia. "Thank you." She said and hopped down walking after Acia.

"Acia..." She said as she followed her.

Moofuls
"Ta!" Tia replied brightly, waving a goodbye and dropping back onto her bed. She glanced towards the TV, frowning when she realized her show had ended, and snatched up another piece of chocolate before beginning to channel surf for something better.

Acia hardly seemed to have heard Willow, and led the way from the room, heading, apparently, towards no where in particular.

Willow muttered before stopping putting her foot down and scoff. "ACIA, if you don't get back here I'll have to run... and if I have to run you're getting you're face planted in the floor. Now snap out of it." Okay so normally she wouldn't threaten but if that didn't get Acia's attation the whole tackle thing would.

Moofuls
The glider paused in step, ears falling back against her head. She hesitated, then turned to face Willow, scuffing her foot on the floor. "I'm sorry, Willow, I just don't think...that's for me." She lifted a hand in a gesture towards Tia, nose wrinkling. "I think I'm just... Just going to go back to my lab and leave it at that."

Willow sighed. "So what you're going to leave me to find my own way back to the shop?" Her arms crossed over her chest as she watched acia.

"Find... I'll see you later." She started to walk off maybe Acia wouldn't make her walk alone.

Moofuls
"Um..." She hesitated once more, seriously considering just abandoning Willow for the relative safety of her lab, but soon shook her head, hurrying back over to her friend to walk her back to the shop. "I'll walk. I can fly back. Let's go."

Willow looked at her, smiling softly. "I'm glad you decided to join me." Her tail flickered thinking about what Tia had said. "Ya know Acia maybe all those things that Tia said isn't for everyone." Her arms were behind her back.

Looking at Acia, "Just because it's something everyone goes through I'm sure not everyone has those expriances.

Moofuls
"S'the least I could do," Acia replied quietly, eyes fixed on the ground as she walked at Willow's side. The glider folded her arms and shrugged, quickening her pace to keep up with Willow's longer stride. She wasn't used to walking so much. "Oh, of course. It's not something that everyone has to..um.. I just don't think, it..." She trailed off, hesitating, and fell silent, picking for the appropriate words.

"Yeah yeah..." She yawned looking about.

"Honestly I wonder how that'd work with us. I mean there aren't any same type velvets, we're from like different speices." She shurged, "On TV most of the babies I see look like their mothers."

Moofuls
"Oh, I doubt Velvets...reproduce in that manner," Acia admitted, relaxing slightly and shrugging once more. This she could talk about. This was science. "All of the Velvets are too different, I think, and we didn't exactly come from parents to begin with. We were plushies, weren't we? I don't see how plushies can reproduce. It almost seems like you just have to make a new plushie, but that wouldn't quite be the same thing. If you go by the different animals we are, reproduction is scientifically impossible." She paused, then chuckled softly. "But then, science has never been a big factor with the Velvets, from what I can tell."

Willow nodded. "Yeah?" She siad tilting her head, "I doubt even the magic in velvets would mess with reproduction."

Her tail flickered as she thought about it. "Yeah we were plushies, so wouldn't 'offspring' so to speak start are plushies too?" Tilting her head she looked at acia. She didn't know much about science but what she did know came from the television and discovory channel. "I mean after all they never show anything close to velveteens on the discovory channel."

Moofuls
"That would make the most sense," Acia agreed, shrugging. "But then, they don't show lots of the races I've seen around here on the Discovery channel," she pointed out, chuckling. "Still, I have a feeling Velvets don't work like most people. Mostly due to the plushie thing, yes. Which probably means I can avoid it without a problem."

Willow placed her arms behind her back "So that means you're not going to go to you're lab a hide?" One of her ears were perked in a questioning tone.

"They might not show many on Discovery channel but they show plenty of them that all look the same. Some bigger versions of our animal selves.

Moofuls
"I'd might as well go back to hiding?" She shrugged, smile fading somewhat. "I don't see that it would change much. You're welcome to come visit me whenever, certainly, and if you see Nayati or Sid or Erae, tell them the same, but... I think it better if I don't seek them out. It's been so long, they probably have their owns lives now." She laughed softly, spreading her arms. "Why would they want to see me?"

Willow's ears pnned back she didn't like that attitude. "That's not the outlook of a scinceist. They wouldn't care about how long they've been gone." Her arms moved from her back to her front.

"They would want to see you just as much as anyone else. It doesn't matter how long you've been gone Acia. You're still our friend. You can't cut yourself off from that." Nodding her head eyes narrowing.

Moofuls
"But why?" The glider seemed genuinely confused. She paused in step, sweeping her hands to indicate herself. "Why? I'm absolutely nothing to look at, and I'm always a mess from working on my lab or the garage, and I either mix up my words or get all scientific and bore people to death! I on't know how to have fun, Willow!" Sighing, she lifted a hand to rub her forehead. "I don't. Because I have fun when I'm working, and that bores everyone else."

"Well maybe they don't understand but isn't that suppose to be the fun of it? Shouldn't you try and show them what fun it is?" Her tail flickered as she walked back to Acia and took the gliders paws in her her own. "Look at these hands, they are made for genius but is it always fun to work alone? Why not show others how fun you can have building things."

Willow tilted her head looking at Acia. "It only bores everyone because they don't understand it. Maybe if you helped them understand it they'd have as much fun as you do. I maynot know anything about the world of scince but I do know if you understand something and teach others to understand you won't always be alone."

Sighing and letting acia's paws go she walked on. "I learned that thanks to my ghost friends."

Moofuls
Acia hesitated, ears falling back against her head, but nodded slowly as she realized the truth of Willow's words. "I..suppose I could do that. Sid and I were going to alter a remote control car together, when last I spoke with him, and Nayati enjoyed my gymnastics... My kinds of fun just seem like they would strike most people as work. And most people don't like work."

Willow shurged. "Work smerk, Acia they think it's work because they don't understand it. Didn't you listen to a word I said?" She turned to look at Acia. "Now if you want work you should see what LP's been trying to build."

She chuckled, "Work is something that you either do every day or something that you know abosultly nothing about and regret doing. If you teach them how fun it could be maybe it wouldn't seem like work. I mean couldn't you show them like how to make rock candy??" Her head tilted, "That's a scince thing isn't it? I mean it was on Bill Nye."

Moofuls
"Rock candy takes ages. And making it is dull." Acia wrinkled her nose, clearly unimpressed. Willow's point had clearly evaded her. Temporarily, at least. "I get what you're saying, though. We'll see. If I run into anyone." Which, as rarely as Acia pulled herself from her lab, was unlikely.

"Fine make a volcano then. That doesn't take that long." Her tail flickered as she shurged. She said she didn't know scince.

"I'll hold you to that." She said with a nod. "Next time I see Nayati if you haven't ran into him I'm dragging him to you're house. You're going to teach us soemthing wonderous about scince." Her tail flickered and she grinned looking around. "Oh we're at the shop already." She looked at the door tail flickering.

Moofuls
Acia barely managed to choke back a giggle, disgusing it with a cough rather than offend her friend. Ahh, science fair volcanos. Been there, done that...excelled far beyond. That was half the trouble of finding someone else to help her. It often took a lot of back explaining to get them to the point where she was, and, well, often Acia wasn't patient enough for that when she was set on a project.

"Deal," she agreed, seeing no reason why not to. It would be good to see Nayati again, after all, and maybe she really could find something to amuse them. She paused in step when Willow announced that they had reached the shop, blinking up at the building before taking a small step back. "I guess I'll be heading home, then... Are you just going to hang around here?"

Willow shurged, "I might, I don't know... I might try and find someone." She looked at Acia.

"If you're sister is right I might as well try to get worked through this little 'dream issuse' so I can sleep decent." Her tail flickered, and as if as an after thought she whispered, "Do you think he likes me too?" Her tail flickered as she tilted her head.

Moofuls
"I don't know," she admitted quietly, trying to remember her last conversation with Nayati. "But I'm sure you'll find out before long? Talk to him and tell he what happened," Acia added with a grin, taking to the air to hover at eye level with Willow. "I think I'm going to head home. It was good seeing you, Willow."

"Right!" She nodded and waved. "Don't be such a stanger! Alright!?" She chuckled as the door opened and walked inside.

Moofuls
"Right," she echoed brightly, lifting a hand in goodbye before darting up to clear air and hurrying back towards the House.

RP With Nara and Meep: "A few old friends."
[Post Number: ooo75]

Started on page 183

Willow was sitting in the shop. There seemed to have been visitors the night before. The shop didn't smell as musty as it had just a few days ago. She was looking for Nayati again, doubting he'd come around she sat on the table tail flickering as she set there listening to everything around her.

"No, no, no Peter that's not nice." She said her eyes were closed and her ear gave and irrated flick. "If you can't say something nice about some one you shouldn't say anything at all." Appernetly this made the ghost mad because the door flew open and closed with a slam.

Willow sighed and shook her head. Her ghosts were acting stranger than normal, more restless, she wondered what was wrong with them. Maybe it was the fact spring would soon be here.

LP a few moments later entered the shop yawning, before she made her way to a couch and sat down on it half asleep. "Job hunting is no fun... Not to mention having just finished part of you're temple." She rubbed her eyes and shook her head. "Where have you been the past few days Willow?" She asked curiously it wasn't like the tiger to dissaper right after breakfast and not come home till it was bed time.

"Looking for someone...." She stated simplely and left it at that.

Meepfur
After he'd found out that his mother had been to the shop without him, Toby had been feeling terribly left out! He wanted to see his friends, too. It felt like it had been ages since he'd seen Sidney or Willow or anyone else. He'd finally convinced Iden to come along, and now he ran down the sidewalk in front of her in his open-toed boots.

He waited at the door for her to open it, adjusting his hat and making sure the feather was straight.

Quirking a smile, Iden opened the door for him, then followed him in. And there was LP! She grinned, happy to se one of her friends. "Hey there!"

"Willow!" Toby called cheerfully, tail wagging.

LP blinked opening her eyes slightly tried like. "Oh hello." She said with a grin before sitting up a bit strighter. "It's been a while hasn't it?" She asked, living out in the woods and having been working like she had she lost track of time.

Willow opened one eye before grinning. "Why hello Toby! It's great to see you again!" She said with a giggle and she jumped down off the table landing with a soft thud on her feet. "And hi Miss Iden!" She said waving to the lady as she ran over to greet Toby.

She grinned when she got there. "Toby you won't beleive who I ran into the other day!"

Meepfur
"Yeah," Iden agreed, "Months I think. It's so hard to catch anyone anymore!" Crossing the room, she settled herself on the couch next to LP. "So what've you been up to?"

"Hello, Willow," she returned, waggling her fingers in a light wave to the girl.

"I'm so glad you're here! Nobody ever is anymore when we come. It's been forever since I saw you or Sid!" The little dog continued to wag his tail, delighted tos ee one of hisf riends again at last. "Who?" he crowed curiously, "Was it Sid? Carl maybe?"

LP stiffled another yawn shaking her head. "Ehh I've been busy. This is the first time I've been back in a while. Willow I think lives here now more than at our place." She shurged, "Honestly I've been building Willow some Asian style temples and looking for a job."

"I'm glad you're here too Toby" She smiled and chuckled at the delight and curiousity of her friend. "I saw Acia actully. I've been trying to catch Nayati but it seems almost impossilbe, and I've yet to see Sid or Carl, or even trea for that matter." She frowned for a moment.

Meepfur
"I haven't been back much lately either, but I came the other night by myself and Toby got jealous when I told him." Iden chuckled a little. "Building her temples?" she asked curiously. "Looking for any kind of job in particular, or just looking?"

"Acia? I've never met them! Or Trea or Nayati, but I think mom's talked about Nayati before. Who're they?" He'd never realized there were so many Velvets he didn't even know about!

"Yeah." LP nodded, "I figured she might be happy if she had someplace to call her own." Pondering the question for a moment she shurged, "Just looking mostly."

"She's a glider, she's been around longer than myself, Trea's a mouse she's got here after me I think, and Nayati belongs to Iris he's been here since before any of us. Atleast Acorrding to LP." She Murred, "He's cute too."

Meepfur
"Oh, I see. That's kinda cool! We redid Toby's room a little while ago, I think he's pretty happy with it." Iden leaned forward comfortably, folding her arms across her thighs. "Good luck with that, then. I hope you find something you'll like."

"A glider?" he asked, "What's that?" The only 'glider' he'd heard of was the hang-glider sort, not an animal sort.

"Thanks." She said, "I just hope it doesn't end up killing me for lack of sleep I've been getting. Everything just feels so restless around the house I can't stand it."

"A glider is like a squrril with like skin from arms to legs, the skin there is like what's on a bat." She said trying to think of how to explain it. Her tial flickered. "Oh and Nayati's a Unicorn, Iforgot to mention that."

"Yeah.... but I have no clue were to go. I think it's Willow's ghosts though. Sometimes they get overly rowdy and you just can't sleep in a place like that." She sighed shaking her head.

She chuckled, "Yes, you'll have to meet her sometime. She likes to hide in her lab some of the tme." Tail flickering she nodded sitting down crossed legged. "He is." Her tail flickered before chuckling, "It might sound silly but someone told me I had a crush on him, I don't know if he 'feels' the same."

Meepfur
"Well, if you ever need to, you could always come by my place," she offered after a moment of consideration. "If you can take a lot of weird critters running around! They're kind of all over the place...easy enough to chase them out of a room, though." Contrary to what she said, it actually took a bit of work, especially with the pooka, but she could roust them out if she had to.

"A lab? You mean, like a scientist?" Since neither Iden or Turmali were particularly mathematically or scientifically inclined, he didn't have a whole lot of exposure to that kind of stuff, so in a way it was exotic.

"A crush?" So far, that was something not in the dog-child's vocabulary or experience.

"Thanks, I think I could take the animals better than I could Willow's friends, as long as I'm not inclided for a midnight snack for Vlad." She remember their last meeting, he was something she'd rather not mess with.

Willow turned around and glared at LP when she said that. "They can't help it, they've got cabin fevor."

Turning back to Toby she chuckled, "Yes she's like a scientist, she says she bores people with her stuff. I'd doubt that. If she would ever get out of that lab of hers and actully talk to someone or build something with them she might find she's not as boring as she thinks she is."

She blinked, "Oh yes, it's when you like someone alot. Atleast according to Acia's Sister that's what it is." She slightly blushed. "He's been acting kinda odd since I grew though so I don't know if he likes me in the same way or not. The way he act you'd think he's almost scare of me...."

Meepfur
"No, he'd leave you alone!" Iden laughed and leaned back against the couch cushions. "I don't think my friends are very interesting to him."

"Mom doesn't like that kind of stuff," he said, reaching under his hat to scratch his head. Spring was getting closer, and he was starting to get itchy. Shedding was such a bother! "Says she doesn't get it."

"That it?" Toby blinked, considering this new information. "Why would he be scared of you, though?"

"We'll that's good." She said with a laugh. "I might tag along with you tonight. Atleast I'd get one night of good rest." She shurged at Willow, she couldn't help that they were getting restless and keeping her up. "I mean as long as you don't mind. I don't want to tag along and be a bother to anyone."

"Yeah?" She chuckled, She liked the warm weather better, she didn't think she shed. Her fur seemed thin as it was. She tilted her head at Toby, "You're all itchy?" She asked tilting her head, "Blah I get some of it but then again I watch Bill Nye when there's nothing else on."

She shurged and nodded, "Yeah. That's it." Her tail flickered thoughtfully, "I'm not sure although one of his vines did grab me once, almost like Nayati lost controll of them and tried to drag me over towards him. It was sorta creepy."

Meepfur
"Oh yeah, you're perfectly welcome to come! I'l just chase out the pooka and you'll be all set. It'll be great to have someone over." Iden grinned. "Dee came over to hang out once, but I don't get many visitors that don't come on four feet, y'know?"

"Yeah," Toby confirmed, frowning as he resettled his hat. "I'm kinda starting to shed some. I watch TV with Tori, but I've never seen whoever that Bill Nye guy is. Kind of a funny name, though."

"Real creepy!" he agreed. "What's he got vines for, though?"

"Thanks Iden." She said smiling softly, "It'd beat sleeping on the couch here tonight." She chuckled as she smiled. "Ah so you get those visitors too eh?" She chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I have that problem." She said poking at her own fur. Nodding, "Bill's kind of hard to find on TV. Just have to know where to look."

"Heh" She nodded, "He can grow things that's his talents, he's really good at it."

Meepfur
"No problem," she answered, still smiling. "Oh yeah, all the time! And most of them wind up hanging around, too. At least there's space for them all."

"Don't you? Maybe it's a dog thing," Toby mused, pulling a little at his tail fur. "We might not get the channel, dunno."

"Grow things, huh? And you can talk to ghosts, and Sid hypnotizes things...I wonder what I do." It didn't bother him at all, just made him curious.

She chuckled and nodded. "I know what you mean." She grinned.

"WEll maybe it's because I have rather thin fur." She shurged softly.

"Maybe you're good at being a prince."

Meepfur
"There are a few with attitudes," she admitted with a touch of a grin. "One even tried to have a go at Nar once! But I'll be sure to fend them off."

"Maybe," he conceded, peering at Willow's fur and then back at his own. "I had thinner fur before, but I got a little fluffier when I grew. I'm glad, though, 'cause I got pretty cold!"

"A prince?" Toby looked down at himself, turning his hands over. "I don't know about that. You've gotta be born that way."

"Oh don't worry. I'm a heavy sleeper. I once had a raccoon hitting me on the head trying to wake me up and Willow had to shoo him off." She chuckled "The only time I can't sleep is when there's so much tension and restlessness in the air. It drives me nuts."

Willow chuckled and nodded, "Yeah I'm suppose to be mostly a warm weather speices I think." She said with a nod. Her tail flickered.

"Well maybe a Knight then?" She pondered, "Although aren't there some that while not royal come to be considered Princes?"

Meepfur
"Hitting you in the head?" Iden laughed - it was just such a funny picture! "Well, you should be just fine then! It's not the quietest place, but there's not usually anything crazy going on." Now and then, of course, given who she lived with, but it was hardly constant.

"Oh, right! Jungles and all that? I don't think I'd like those very much." All hot and humid and rainy. Not his kinda place at all! "A knight, yeah. I can do that! Not sure about becoming a prince, though. I think you'd have to marry a princess for that. I'll ask Mom."

She nodded, "It was rather interesting." She sighed. "I have a very bad feeling of doom. Which when don't I?" She laughed and shook her head.

"Right!" She chuckled, "Well they're not for everyone." Nodding softly, "Well still nice to aim high isn't it?"

Meepfur
"A feeling of doom?" Iden asked worriedly. "What do you mean by that?

"I bet princesses are nice," he mused. "You know, pretty and nice and all that. I've never met one, but they look that way in all the pictures! And everyone always wants to save them, so there's gotta be a reason."

"Blah, just an old friend most likely going to get a dose of her past they do not want to have." She sighed, "They use to be a princess of a strong empire which as long since fell. They don't remember anything of their past or past friends." She sighed, "I just don't know when she's going to run into them. With out knowleadge of who they are it's likely bad things are to happen. As things sometimes do happen."

"I'm not sure Toby, I never met a real one. Atleast not one that could speek...." She chuckled, "I think the reason they save them is to get the princesses' kiss. I think it's a reward of such."

Meepfur

She furrowed her brow, trying to process what exactly LP was getting at. "So it's...some past life thing? I thought most people didn't really remember that kinda stuff. I mean, I definitely don't, supposing I had any."

"You met a princess who couldn't talk?!" Toby stared agape at Willow. That was so cool! "A kiss? Yeah, I guess so."

"Ummm well she has more of Animesa than haivng a past life...." LP shurged, "Which I suppose could be just as bad. Some people do remember bits and peices of their past lives if they focus right."

Willow chuckled, "She's a Toad." She nodded and grinned. "Well what else could a princess give a knight, a kiss is the only really thoughful thing in that type of situation."

Meepfur

"Amnesia? Huh." Iden scratched her head, thoughtful. "So she's never died, she's just kinda gone on since then or something? Well, I think I'm just as fine not knowing about mine. I've got enough to think about!"

"A toad?" Toby perked his ears, curious. "Is she a Velvet too?"

"Nope, she's never died..." She chuckled, "Ah I'd like to forget mine all save for the friend. It's such a bother sometimes you have to look over you're shoulder to make sure no one is following you if you remember you're past." She stiffled a yawn. "It's about like sleeping, when you think about it... welll it never really happens."

"Yup a Toad!" She chuckled, "If i'm not mistaken an she is a princess she is indeed also a Velvet." Her tail flickered happily. "Although I might have to see if you'll save me one day. Seeing as how these ghosts are getting a bit antsy."

Meepfur
"Yeah," she mused quietly. "I'm definitely glad not to have that. There's plenty going on without it."

"I thought it was princes who were toads. Well, got turned into 'em anyway." Toby tilted his head, tail wagging litte. "Save you? Well, I could! If you ever need it, I'll be right there! I'm supposed to be a knight, after all."

She chuckled, "Yes well then you don't have to live in my world."

"Sure but princesses can be too, Fionna on Shrek was turned into an Orge." She chuckled, "Good maybe one day we'll have our last growing quests with each other and maybe with some luck Nayati will be tossed into it too and we'll have to like save a princess and fight some smelly old beast!" She giggled at the thought.

Naraka
The basement door gives a gentle creeking, and Naraka peers suspiciously out of the small crack. He'd heard the voices upstairs, but had been timid, at first, and unwilling to see any company. Gradually, however, he became curious and decided to see.

LP, he hasn't seen in quite a while, and Iden, he's not sure he's ready to face, but it would probably be better with someone else around. He steps boot onto the top step and slowly opens the door to come into the shop.

But, horrors, he is not garbed in his usual gear by any means! Or rather, he is, when he hasn't been in a long time. His pale hair is spiked straight up and he's bedecked in an awful lot of buckles, fishnet, and leather. ( can provide old, terrible pictures, if you like, but you might be better off with your imagination XD )

"Well... good evening," he says, his hands on his hips as he casts a slow and curious glance around the shop, and goes off to sit in his usual place in the corner.

Meepfur
"Well, n-" Fortunately for Iden, who was having a bit of a time finding just the way to reply to LP, Naraka came up out of the basement, saving her from her little problem. But..he...he looked so different! His hair was all spiked up! She was shocked into staring for a moment.

"Hey," she responded, late and still staring. Not in a bad way, she was just trying to get her head around it!

"Yeah!" Toby grinned, his tail's wagging picking up. "But...I still have to catch up with you first." The dog-child turned his head at the entrance of someone he'd never seen before, ears perked with interest. "Hello, sir," he said politely.

LP blinked as Nara 'rose from the dead' she blinked and caught herself in a mid-chukle and turned it into a cough. "Nice outfit. I'm totally tempted to ask you if I can borrow that one of these days." She grinned, "How've you been I haven't seen you since what? Forever ago?"

Willow grined and nodded. "Of crouse but it'd be fun none the less." Hearing someone enter she blinked, "Ohhhh Hello strange man." She tugged at Toby and nodded towards the guy as if to ask if he wanted to go get a closer look at him. He seemed very interesting, and alive but not. Much more so than Iden did anyways.

Naraka

"Oh, LP, you know I used to dress like this a while ago. And... I've been... I've been." He leaves it at that and takes a long look at the little canine velvet and then glances over to the other. "Hello. Haven't seen a velvet in a long time besides Kes.... I forgot how.. peculiar you are. And small."

Meepfur
Iden wanted terribly to go over and investigate Naraka's new hairdo, but she was good and contained herself, settling for just looking instead. He looked...younger that way. Kind of punkish.

Toby responded to the tugging postively, scooting closer with Willow to get a better look at this spiky-haired guy. He was certainly a vampire, he semelled quite a lot like Vlad and Iden, but for Toby it was a perfectly normal sort of smell, so that wasn't the source of his interest. He was just new! "Kes?" he asked, tail wagging hesitantly. It seemed to be the day for learning about other Velvets. "Who's that?"

"Oh!" he said after a moment, remembering his manners. "I'm Toby."

LP chuckled and shook her head yawning. "If you say so nara... it's been a while though. Even then I was tempted to ask you if I could borrow it." She sighed. "You look better that way." She closed her eyes slightly though fighting a fit of sleep.

"He's a bird. Fat little fellow to." Willow nodded and chuckled. "I remember him he likes shines!" She whispered to toby, "lets go have a closer look at him." She grined and nodded.

"I'm Willow!" Willow chimmed in before she flicked her ear in an anonnied mannorism. Sighing she picked herself up. "Ugh actully I have to go. I have some work to attend to... apperently one of the ghosts is in dire need of talking to me. Sorry Toby. If you're around tomorrow or something we might can hang out!" With out another word she skitted off the door opening for her and closing after she skittered off into the night.

Naraka
"Hullo, Toby. Willow. I used to know you when you were just a.... a tiger" he finishes to the door slamming closed. "Well.... I used to know you when you were just a little dog, too" he says to Toby, turning back. "Willow's right. Kesin's a fat little b*****d with a handsome black and white suit, and enough conceit to kill you with. But, after railing on me for just about an hour in spanish for something I didn't even know I did, he flew off, and I haven't seen him since."

Meepfur
Iden glanced over at LP, who seemed to be getting very sleepy, and wondered if the other woman would even make the walk back to her place! Well, if she didn't, she supposed she could manage. "Kesin seems to do that a lot," she mused, "Just disappear off places."

"Oh...later, Willow!" he called after the tiger, ears drooping just a little. Maybe he would see her tomorrow! "Really?" he then asked of Nar, head tilted as he peered up at the tall vampire. He didn't really seem all that familiar.

LP murfed and shook her head, "He'll show up sooner or later. Maybe later I'll put up some shiney things back at my place. I'm sure he'll see it and come for a visit. Maybe I can get him to come back and strighten things out for you."

Looking towards the door she frown. "Willow's been doing that alot lately. Sometimes I worry about her going off like that, most of the time she dissappers so fast I can't follow her."

Naraka
"Kesin takes after me, I guess. Only, he doesn't feel the need to explain himself to anybody. Then, he never really gets himself attached to anybody either, which is his peculiar sort of wisdom, I suppose." He leans back and closes his eyes. "LP, you spoil that bird. What he needs is a punch on the beak."

Meepfur
"He's so cute when he's stuffed, though," she chuckled, 'siding' with LP. "He always looks so pitiful! If I had something shiny, I think I'd give it to him, too. He's such a charmer, sometimes."

Toby scratched his chin, considering the fact that his fellow Velvets seemed to do a lot of straying. Why would they want to leave? Everything was just fine here! He couldn't imagine going off and leaving everyone behind, even if it was just for a little while. He'd worry about his mom too much.

With Willow gone, he climbed up into Iden's lap, thinking that perhaps a bit of a nap wouldn't go amiss while everyone else chatted.

"I know I do... Can't help it. I spoil Willow to a point as well." She crossed her arms, "Well I won't punch him in the beak if I'll see him I'll tell him off if you want me to though."

LP looked at Toby with her head tilted. "She'll be back." She assured the pup.

Naraka
"Yeah, he ought to be stuffed," Naraka agrees, knowing that's not what she meant. "I see he's taken you in as well. He's pitiful, alright, but not for the reasons you're thinking of. That's just a ruse. That the both of you have so sadly fallen for, it seems. And I was just kidding about punching him. He's so damned small. Well, don't bother. He's shameless."

Meepfur
Iden helped Toby up, giving him a smile and a little pat. He wound up keeping some very odd hours, given who he lived with. "Aww, c'mon," she said with a giggle, "He told Ri off, and that's plenty for me! Ri was annoyed for days, it was awesome."

Toby nodded at LP, removing his hat and making himself comfortable. Until then, he'd just catch a few extra z's. Like most dogs, he had knack for being able to sleep just about anywhere, anytime.

"Blah stuffed." She shook her head, "He was stuffed at one point remember. I don't think it's possible to reverse things like that."

She shifted softly on the couch watching Toby. It would be nice to be able to sleep any where and anytime like he could. She chuckled.

Naraka
" Yeah, it is. It's this magical art called taxidermy. You just scoop out their insides and replace it with stuffing. Very simple."

As for this 'Ri' character, he really isn't sure what Iden's talking about, and so he lets it go and frowns off at the dusty corner instead.

Meepfur
Iden laughed - as terrible a threat as it was, it certainly wasn't serious, and it was very funny. 'Magical art,' indeed. As for Ri, that had been the fuzzy little critter with a habit of spouting off, but she didn't realize that Nar had forgotten, so it didn't occur to her to clarify.

''So...why the hair change?" she asked after a moment, unable to resist. The clothes were interesting too, but the hair. She'd never thought of Naraka as the type to do that.

Looking around she tilted her head and lofted a brow she was interested for the answer as well. Although he did look younger.

Naraka
Naraka certainly doesn't remember. He's been too preoccupied to memorize every furball that comes into the shop and tangles with Kesin (of which there are many).

"Hair change?" He reaches up to the spikey mass on his head and gives it a pat or two. "Oh..... I suppose you weren't around... I used to keep my hair this way.. for fun. For a change of pace. Boy, was I thrilled when I started to see people doing this. Hair pointing straight up in the air?? A miracle! Genius!! Who'd have thought! And so I started doing it as well. Maybe to take myself less seriously. Or maybe to make myself taller. Or maybe to appear more dangerous. Something psychological, sure. More than one reason, probably. And in the same way, I let it go. I'll tell you I did it because I just got tired of fiddling with it, which would be partially true, but also, maybe there was a reason that I got tired of fiddling with it. But I told myself that I'd stop saying everything I think, and so I'd better shut my mouth." Which he does, promptly.

Meepfur
"Like you need to be any taller?" she prodded, giggling. "It does make you look like you've got an attitude, that's for sure. Younger. Well, not that you look old at all." It was funny, though, to think of spiky hair as some sort of revolutionary thing...people'd certainly been able to do it by the time she'd been born!

"I wonder what Vlad would look like if he ever changed his hair.." The thought of Dracula with short, spiky hair like some punk kid was pricelessly hysterical, and soon she snorted with laughter.

LP shook her head. "Vlad's got the attitude for a moehawk if you ask me." She shurged leaning on the arm of the couch and looking up at the ceiling.

Naraka
Naraka's expression darkens at the mention of Vlad, and he bites his lip, resolving to say nothing.

Psychological is right. It's easier to ignore someone, dressed this way. Armored in metal and black, hackles raised, his look says 'leave me alone' so he doesn't have to.

He fixes Iden with a level stare. She seems fine, and he's about to say so, but decides just to let it be. Instead, he stands, and says, "Well, I'm headed out. Good evening."

Meepfur
A mohawk? That was even worse! Iden started to laugh even harder, but then she caught Naraka's darkened expression and stare, and the amusement fell away. She straightened, but despite it looked a little wilted.

"Oh...later, I guess," she said quietly. In hindsight, she probably shouldn't have mentioned Vlad, but it had just been so funny. At least, she figured that was the reason for Naraka's abrupt decision to leave, since she couldn't see a reason for it in anything else she'd said. "You do look good," she tried cheerily, "With your hair like that."

LP looked at Nara and then to Iden. She started to ask him why was he leave but decideing not to she just looked at him with a lofted brow. "Nar if you see Willow tell her I'll be sleeping over at Iden's. I can't stand it in the cave tonight..."

Naraka
"Yeah, sure," he says to LP. "If I see her. Night." He gives a sad, half-a-wave and heads out the front door. First looking one way, and then the other, he picks a directon to go and stalks off into the dark.

Meepfur
Iden returned the wave and watched him go, sad. Naraka gone, she mussed a hand through he hair, frowning as she looked over at LP with a sheepish "Oops?"

LP got up, slightly unsteady because of her lack of sleep. "What was that about that?" She said leaning on the window seal to steady herself. Then looking over to Iden.

Wilow was sitting on the street corner looking slightly mad at the world. What to do was the question she had no answer on this, everyone was so crazy, it was worse than the confusing things LP did. She poked at a peice of paper with her toe.

Meepfur
"Naraka, well.." Gently moving Toby from her lap and onto the couch, Iden stood too, rubbing the back of her neck. "Him and Vlad, they don't really get on. I mean, it's more complicated than that, but..." She trailed off, shrugging helplessly.

She looked at Meep shaking her head leaning on the wall crossing her arms. "I can see why. Sadly, but I can." She looked over at Iden, "I suppose Nara's a bit sour at Vlad 'cause of what he did."

Meepfur
"Yeah," she confirmed with a sad nod. "Yeah, that's got a bit to do with it. He's not as bad about it as he was, but...well, I wouldn't call it bad, 'cause it's justified, but you know."

Lofting a brow she shurged. "Well maybe you two need to sit down and talk it out." Looking around the room for a second. "Nar's got a sense of pride to him sure, and he may feel it's his fault. Yet maybe you two could come to better terms on it if you talked."

Meepfur
Iden nodded. "We've been working at it, really, but I'm getting to realize that it's gonna take more than one talk. I think a lot of it is time, too." She turned her hand, looking over the pale skin. "Getting used to things."

LP shurged, "It took him a while to actully not be skeptical of me. It's just the way he is." she remembered back when she first came into the shop how rahter 'unpleasnt' he could be if he wanted to be.

"Atleast you two are trying to work it out." She wtched iden as she turned her hand over. "Honestly I know what you mean there." She gave a soft nod before looking about.

"So instead of hanging about this place... it's suddenly got that sullen feeling of gloom and what not. Shall we head to your's." She asked her head tilted to the side. "I might pick up some coffee on the way if there's a place and you dont' mind."

Meepfur
"Sounds good to me," she said with a nod. Yeah, a change of atmosphere would probably be good. "I don't know if you've got a certain kind you like, but I know Tori keeps some coffee around. I wouldn't mind stopping, though, if you want to."

Returning to the couch, she nudged Toby awake, informing him that it was time to go home.

Toby woke with a yawn and a stretch, one that went from nose to tail. Retrieving his hat, he slid from the couch and gave himself a good shake to finish waking up from his small nap. He resettled his hat on his head and nodded. "Ready!"

LP shurged, "Ehh either way. It'd be nice to have some however I get it. It'll keep me up for a little bit longer either way it goes." She grined as she watched Toby stretch.

"Must be nice to be able to sleep like that Toby." She said with a chuckle as she waited on Iden.

Meepfur
"Well, if you're not picky, we can go straight home. Up to you, though." SMiling at LP and Toby both, she held the door open. "Shall we?"

"Huh?" Toby blinked up at LP, waiting for her to go through the door first. "Oh!" He scratched under his hat, grinning. "Just how I sleep, I guess."

LP grined and walked outside and chuckled. "Toby would you like a ride?" She asked offering him her arm.

------------

The rest of LP's, Iden's, n' tobys little hike can be found... Here!

Now back to willow =D
------------

Naraka
Naraka shuffles down the bleak street through the dim and orange light of the streetlamps. He hears the little velvet before he sees her, but only remembers his message once he's passed her by. Clumping back up, he grumbles, "You're going to get stepped on, sitting there. Or kicked. I'm supposed to tell you something. Only I forget what. Wait. LP told me to tell you that she's staying at Iden's. By the way, you look pretty pissed."

Willow looked up at the vampire and shook her head. "Fine.... Let her go, she's no help anyways." She got up as he looked at her and shurged, "Thanks for you're concern." She muttered walking towards a wall that had a window where she could perch herself on the seal.

Once there she shurged, and looked back towards the ground. "You don't look like a bucket of sunshine either," She commented in a bit of a annonied tone.

Naraka
"Who? LP? I am afraid I don't know what you're talking about. Anyway, I guess I don't. I have some delimmas, that's all. And it's hard to decide on them. You know. Anyway.... I hope you know where Iden's is, because I don't. I couldn't tell you where she went to beyond that."

"LP isn't any help to me no." She looked at him, "You have delimmas? Have you ever tried to figure out how to help over 100 ghosts pass on to the afterlife!? I should think you haven't." She crossed her arms, his problems couldn't be half as bad as her issuses.

"And no I don't know wehre Iden's is. Don't care to either... I have to slove this problem before they drive me insane." She snortted rather crossed. "Ugh everything is giving me such a headache.

Naraka
"No," he grunts shortly. "I haven't. Well..... I'm afraid I won't be any help either. To either problem. So I'll leave you to your work. I'm sure you can stay in the shop, if you need to. Night." He shakes his head at the little tigress and heads off across the street. Ghosts are definitely not anything he wants to deal with personally.

"Yeah I figured that unfortunally." She watched him leave. "Night, If I have time to sleep.." She muttered softly.
