Playdate!
Sort of. Vidya got lost. crying

Description:
Running from something that kept popping up from her blind side, Vidya found herself lost in the forest behind her house - where she met up with Nalira.

Note - This RP is still in progress, and its being played out through PM. Its NOT a quest playdate, just something Lemonlime and I started a LONG time ago...but hasn't really been anywhere near finishing yet. a.a

Sometime early that morning, the morning before their wedding, Nio had snuck out of bed quietly enough so as not to wake Enoh. He had left the room, the house, and come back soon after, keeping himself silent despite how giddy he felt.

Tomorrow was a very special day. Therefore, so was today, as the day before their special day.

It took him over a half hour to get every one of the bouquets into the darkened room, setting them down silently. Once he was done, he backed up out of the room and took a good look at what he'd done.

Their bedroom was filled with full bouquets of red roses, to the point where the floor (and most of the furniture) was unseen. The bed alone lay untouched, a floating island in a sea of roses. A small path led from the bed to the door, just enough for little feet to find their way.

He had been sure so many times that he would spoil the surprise and make some kind of noise, but by some miracle he'd done the entire thing in silence. He was kind of proud of that.

He slid out of the room, leaving it open just enough for a small child to fit through, and walked down the hall to Vidya and Donny's room. The sun was only now starting to creep out over the horizon, leaving the room in a soft blue haze.

He sat on the edge of the bed at Vidya's side, and leaned down to kiss the innocently sleeping child on the forehead.

"Hey, smurfette.." He whispered, nudging her softly to wake her up. "Would you go and wake up your mommy for me?"

A little head of blonde curls shot up slowly, giving his father a faintly annoyed and confused look.

"Hoooy.."

"Shh, Donny, it's okay. You can go back to sleep."

The boy took his father's advice, flopping back onto the pillow carelessly, though his eyes remained half-open, watching him with a sleepy gaze. Nio reached out and brushed the curls back from his face, before petting his head softly.

Enoh hadn't even felt Nio get out of bed. In reality, he probably would have knocked her off the bed in order for her to wake up. She was a fairly heavy sleeper, and only three things could wake her up: One was banging a pot next to her ears or any other such loud noise, Another was a soft touch, and the last was the voice of a child.

Needless to say, even the smell of roses didn't wake her up, but she did register that particular scent. She let out a small content sigh, though continued on sleeping, drawing up the now extra blankets into her arms.

Vidya on the other hand...well, she was a lighter sleeper than her mother. She started to wake up once she felt the bed shift under her father's weight, and futher woke up as she felt a kiss pressed to her forehead. Uttering a waking groan, she stretched out her arms and legs, stubbornly keeping her eyes closed until he had asked a favour of her. Yawning, she sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes, her hair, though braided, was in general disarray from her sleep.

"Wake up Mommie..? Why?" She inquired with a voice heavy with sleep. Even as she waited for a response, she slowly pushed the blankets off of her, turning her body to dangle her legs over the edge of the bed. It was so early in the morning!

Nio snickered at Vidya's little waking scene, before reaching out and pulling her in a hug.

"Because, daddy left her a surprise. Be careful when you walk in, okay?"

"Donny will go wake up mommy!" The little boy sat up again, this time more awake. Nio pulled him closer, holding him in his other arm.

"Ah ah, not this time Donny. Let Viddy do it this time."

"Why?"

"Because, it's kind of a girl thing."

"Why?"

Nio pulled the boy closer and smothered him lightly in a hug, snickering softly. "Because I said so."

"Mmph?"

"Glad you agree." Nio responded to the muffled jarble. He looke at Vidya, gave her a wink and snugged her gently, before letting her go.

"Donny can wake Mommie up tomorrow." She half-offered, half-promised. It made sense really...her today, Donny tomorrow! Yes, perfect sense! "Okay...Viddy go wake Mommie now." She hugged her father, gave her brother a goodmorning kiss on the cheek, and then slid out of bed. Fixing her nightgown, she scampered off towards her parents' room.

She smelt the roses before she saw them, obviously. She fought back a gasp of awe upon seeing them...so many roses, so pretty, and so...so red! Red was her second favourite colour. Finding the path to the bed, Vidya carefully crept over, and just as carefully climbed onto the bed, and was less careful about her crawl over the matress to her mother.

"Mommie..." Vidya whispered at first, gaining a muffled sigh from the shapeshifter in response. Leaning her head to the side, Vidya then flopped onto Enoh, draping herself over her mother's side. "Mommie!" She stated a little louder now, though by no means a loud cry.

Enoh, of course, shot up at the call and flop, and her sleepily hazed gaze caught sight of something blue as it slid onto her lap. "Huh...? Oh, Vidya...G'morning." Closing her eyes, she rubbed at them with her fists. "I smell..."

"Roses?" Vidya interupted, rolling over onto her back in her mother's lap. "C'mon Mommie, open eyes!"

Yes, roses...She thought to herself, pulling her hands down and opening her eyes. She gasped in awe at the sight...the room was covered in what had to have been hundreds and hundreds of red roses! Enoh pressed her hand against her collarbone, her ears flattening. She knew who did this...and god did he ever go to great lengths for this...

She was going to marry the most wonderful man in the world tomorrow, and this proved it for the fifty-millionth time. And God did she ever love him.

Plucking two of the roses nearest to her, she de-thorned them, then placed one in Vidya's hair, and tucked the other behind her ear. Pulling Vidya close, she nuzzled her gleefully giggling daughter. "Your father is the single most wonderful man in existance. Now where might I find this amazing man?"

"S'in Me n' Donny's room!" She didn't really understand what her mother was saying, but she understood that her father was wonderful, and somehow guessed Enoh would want to know where he was...hence the help.

"He is, is he?" She murmured softly, pulling Vidya into her arms and slowly climbing out of bed. She moved down the small path, trying to not disturb the roses that lined the room...which was easier said than done.

Donny had climbed into his father's lap when Vidya had left, and sat curled up there, looking up with wide, sleep-glazed eyes at his father.

"Squishee, are we going to wear our dresses tomorrow?"

"Well, we're all going to get dressed up, if that's what you mean.. but yes. I suppose we are."

"With the tuxes?"

"Yes, Donny, the tuxedos."

"For the wedding you and mommy get to have?"

"Yes, Donny. How come?"

He snuggled into his father and closed his eyes. "So I know how to have a wedding."

Nio rose a brow, eyeing his son carefully. "That won't be for a very long time, Donny.."

For Donny, a very long time was a week. "Tha's okay."

Nio sighed in relief at this answer, and curled his arms up around the boy, letting him drift back off to sleep as he rocked him. A single ear perked up high as he heard voices, and smiled gently. He hoped she liked her present.

Eventually, Enoh and Vidya made it out of the rose-covered room, and now they were headed towards the two tale's room. Once there, Enoh set her daughter on the ground, snaking her arms around Nio's neck and giving him a gentle kiss on the lips, regardless of Adonis being right there.

"You! You are an amazing man, and an even more amazing Fiancee" She kissed him again, though she was grinning softly this time...might as well make the most out of today when it came to spending time with one another. After all, they wouldn't be allowed to see eachother tomorrow until the wedding. Damn superstitions...Enoh figured she'd probably go mad from being unable to touch him for that long...but that, of course, made the honeymoon even sweeter.

Giggling softly at the thought, Enoh sat down beside her fiancee on the bed, tugging Vidya onto her lap.

She basked in the fact that after tomorrow, she'd be able to call him her Husband.

Title

Before the Wedding
Move Faster, Time!

It was here, it was finally here...the day of the wedding. The day that she and Nio would officially become Husband and Wife...and also the day she had waited for for so long.

But now that it was here, she was caught between panicking and wishing time would move faster...but isn't that what every very soon-to-be Bride goes through?

The morning of the wedding, Enoh had woken up early for perhaps the first time in her six months worth of memories. Six in the morning was in fact very, very early for the shapeshifter, who usually enjoyed snoozing until at least eight. She had awoken alone, Nio having left the night before to go stay with his friend Prox and his family...after all, it was bad luck to see eachother until the wedding. Needless to say, she felt rather lonely, waking up in her bedroom alone.

This loneliness, of course, was short lived as always, when a certain blue child came dashing into the room and pouncing onto her bed in a flutter of nightgown and hair.

"Mommie! Mornin!" Vidya chirped happily, crawling over to Enoh and onto her lap, sitting down and leaning against her. The tale had always been a happy girl, but for today, it seemed her natural excited persona was heightened...and it probably had something to do with the fact that she knew today was a big day.

Then again, it didn't hurt knowing that she was going to be in a very pretty dress, like her Mommy was.

"Heya Viddy..Geez you're awake this morning! How was your sleep?" The idle banter between tale and author managed to subdue the shapeshifter's anxiety over the whole senario. Really, Enoh just wished she had even a portion of Vidya's energy right now -- She herself was drained just worrying about the day.

Vidya's trek into Enoh's room ended with the small statured Tale tugging her mother out of the room and downstairs, where the rest of her family was waiting with breakfast compliments of Mieke. Damn the doe was Wonder Woman, pregnant or not. During Breakfast, it had been nice to talk to her family, letting them know how nervous she was, but at the same time how indescribably wonderful it would be to have Nio as her husband. It was heartwarming to have her children tell her that they were happy for them, and that they were happy about Nio becoming their Father (hey, even Teivel murmured his well-wishes and thoughts!)..they were just as excited about having him as part of the family as she was!

When she left, she was accompanied by Vidya, Mieke and Vincent. The gunman was going to give her away, seeing as she didn't quite know if she even had a father in the first place, while the doe was part of her bridal party, and of course Vidya was going to be the flower girl. Teivel had also left, heading towards Prox's house to keep Nio some company, as he was going to be part of the Groomsmen. Zhamai was left in charge of everyone else for the rest of the night, and with twin girls of his own, he was more than ready to tackle this task.

The rest of the day was almost dream-like to the shapeshifter. She was pampered like a princess...something she was not used to, but also something she absolutely enjoyed. Of course there was lunch for the group before anything, but after that, it was all make-up, hair, and various other pamperings. Hair and makeup wasn't bad for her, but it was seeing the dress ready for her that doubled her flinging emotions. She'd seen the dress before obviously, but seeing it today, ready and waiting for her to put it on for the ceremony that was fast approaching...well, those butterflies in her stomach became as violent as bees, and her happiness over what was to result from the day was now making her feel light-headed and giddy.

When she finally went into a sideroom to get dressed for the ceremony, the butterflies had calmed down, and her light-headedness has also subsided...for now. Her mind was racing with thoughts of the future...what their future was going to be and what would become of them after this day, after this big step in both of their lives. 'No...I can worry about the future later. Today comes first, and today is most important. Today is my day!' She thought with a smile, setting to put her white gown on.

'This is it...' the shifter thought once she was finished, staring at herself in her full wedding gown in the mirror with her back to the room's fabric door. 'In less than an hour...I'm going to be married...married to the most wonderful man in the world.' She could already feel herself tearing up, long before she could see it in the mirror.

Enoh smiled suddenly, feeling a wave of pure happiness flood over her, completely destroying the anxiety and nervousness she'd been feeling the entire day, even though she was twisting a napkin with her gloved hands. 'I'm going to be Mrs. Nio Love...'

Mieke again!

All I have to say is...Finally! Everyone's asleep. heart ! It took a while for most of the kids, as they were so...energetic that they refused to sleep. I'm so glad I had Momo with me though...he was such a great help. Zhamai, Teivel and Vincent were helpful too...but Momo was the most help, I think. To me, anyway. Oh no! I digress! Sorry, Sorry...!

Y'know, I've never seen a drunken toddler before ( I hope my baby doesn't get drunk like that! )...so naturally, Adonis was so hard to take care of. Actually, come to think of it...Teivel and Adonis were difficult to take care of. Both of them were completely drunk ( Strangely, Teivel's emotional when he's drunk! heart He also helped out with the kids, which was fun. I BET I can use this as blackmail later. Mwaha. )!

I was also surprised to see how calm and collected Zhamai was about all these kids. I know he has twins of his own (and GOD are they cute! *o* They're both as beautiful as their Momma and...Eee...They've got their Daddy's sense of adventure and mischeif)...but We have a lot more kids here at the mainhouse. It was so nice to see someone other than me actually get on the floor and play with them. heart Thanks, Zhammie!

Ah, I know I've probably said it before, but Vidya's adorable. She insisted on helping me with everything...and she did, until she accidentally passed out on the floor while playing with Iva.

OH! Iva! She. Is. Adorable. She looks just like Mom and Nio--Err...Dad! Really...She has his ears, her horns, her eyes and their hair. heart She's a sucky little girl too...she really likes attention! When I came back to check on how she and Vidya were doing, Iva was poking Vidya's forehead gem and giggling. SOCUTE! I'm surprised little Iva didn't pull on Vidya's sidewings though...I'm actually glad about that, on second thought. Poor Viddy would most likely cry.

Well, in anycase...They're adorable, The drunks are safely in bed, and Zhamai went home with his Mate and their Twins.

heart I get Momo cuddling time! heart

Bye bye. n.n!

Quest Time!
My Vidya's getting bigger and bigger every day! And like every growing child, she needs lots of stuff to keep her interested. Your task as a parent is two fold. First, Vidya's diverse interest should be nurtured with things that will help develop her talents. She should have an assortment of odds and ends, either found around the house, in minishops or received from her numerous friends.

The second part is about frienships! Vidya's got lots and lots of friends and why shouldn't she? She's a wonderful darling and it's hard not to like her. But do her friends like each other? She must (or at least attempt to) make her friends like each other by working her charm on them. ((translation: 3 playdates, each must have at least two different Tales that don't know each other or if they don't they don't know each other very well))

However you go about it is up to you, but it must be recorded in the Tome. Good luck n.n

"Shhh, Donny. You're making too much noise."

The boy was fluttering excitedly behind his father as he tried to sneak in the house with a package in his arms larger than Donny himself was - wings included! He was sure it was a present for himself, but the way that Nio wasn't trying to hide it from him discouraged that belief slightly.

Still, all presents were somehow Donny's in some form or another.

"Go check if your sisters are upstairs, would you?"

"Viddy went shopping with mommy!"

"And Harmony?"

Donny gave Nio a quirked glance, as if confused by the question. "Harmony? She's upstairs. But-"

"Darn. I guess it'll just be a surprise when Viddy comes home, then.."

Nio trudged up the stairs with the huge package, leaving Donny floating in the air behind him. His face was the picture of confusion. Harmony wasn't his sister, she was his pet.

Silly squishee.

Nio knocked on the door to the bedroom, and a moment later the little blonde girl opened the door. She looked up at the large package with legs, and backed away as it came forward.

"What is that..?"

"That," Nio huffed as he set it down and straightened his back, "is a present for both you and Viddy. You can open it if you like, so that Viddy will see it when she comes home. It'll be a surprise for her."

Harmony inched forward and gave the box a look, before pulling off the paper and opening it. The cardboard fell away to reveal a very large castle dollhouse.

User Image

Donny was aghast. Where was his dollhouse!?

"It's very pretty.." Harmony coo'd, settling down to open it up and look inside. She couldn't wait for Vidya to come home and see it.

"Donny want a dollhouse!"

"Donny.. boys don't.. ah.. just.. well you can play with it too."

This answer didn't seem to appease the boy much. As Nio left the room, he crossed his arms and glared at the door while his 'pet' toyed with the little pieces of the dollhouse behind him.

He smelled mutiny, and if it was a war the man wanted, it was a war he would receive.

Daddy's Present
YAY FOR TOYS. =D

Vidya and Enoh had come home much later in the day, well into the evening. In fact, it was just beginning to get dark out...and poor Vidya looked like she was at the end of her ropes. The tale, though carried by her mother, appeared to have a hard time even talking at this point, something she'd been forcing herself to do. All her author could do, however, was humor the child as best as she could, without giving away the deep worry she was experiencing - after all, Vidya never got this tired this early before...and she'd already had a nap today! Something was definately up, but Vidya being Vidya...well, she wouldn't let her mother know about it, merely saying that she was alright.

All Enoh could do was worry, and give the child credit for being consistant about her answers.

When the shapeshifter managed to get Vidya into the house, and made a bee line for the Tale's room, stepping around the pieces of doll house that Harmony had left lying about. However, in this time, Vidya had opened her eyes long enough to see this MASSIVE castle-thing sitting halfly in the corner. Willing herself to lift her head, she strained her only good eye to see exactly what it was...and upon failing for the first time, she rubbed her eyes and tried again.

"...S'at a doll house, Momma?" She questioned tiredly, pointing at the castle, and the pieces on the floor.

"Ah, you're awake! Why yes dear, that's a doll house...a really big doll house." Setting Vidya on the bed, and knelt down and scooped up a piece of paper, scanning the words. "And it looks like Daddy bought it for you and Harmony! How nice of him!"

Vidya smiled sleepily, swaying a bit in her seated position. Her eyes did seem to brighten a bit, which was always a good sign. Enoh could see how hard Vidya was trying to keep herself awake, and decided to help her in that quest by placing one of the abandoned doll house beds in her hands. "Wanna play with it for a bit before bed?" Naturally, Vidya nodded and stared down at the bed in her hands, slowly sliding off of her own and trudging towards the doll house.

Vidya played with the various toys as long as she could, and Enoh never once left her side - she wouldn't even dare to, knowing full well how dangerous an exhausted toddler could be. For a while, the tale seemed to be energetic enough to rearrange a few of the rooms and play with Kalani in the monster doll house...but as the time wore on, her enthusiasm faded, and she was left exhausted again.

Taking this as her cue, Enoh scooped Vidya into her arms and silently put her dear daughter onto her side of the bed, tucking her in and placing Kalani next to her. Naturally, as soon as Vidya felt the pillow under her head, she fell instantly asleep, finally caving into the exhaustion she'd been feeling all day. The shapeshifter felt it was alright to let the tale sleep in her clothes; after all, a tunic wouldn't hurt to sleep in.

"Aw...Poor thing. You can thank Daddy in the morning, lovely..." With that, Enoh leaned over and gave Vidya a kiss on the forehead, beside the shining jewel the girl possessed, and backed silently out of the room, shutting off the lights.

I'm worried about Vidya.

Normally, she's energetic as all get out...and it just comes so naturally from her, you can't help but be energetic as well. Its just...one of those talents my special little girl has always had...

...But as of late, I'm noticing that her energy is a forced energy. Its almost like something's weighing her down, and she's not strong enough to control it...I can sense that much, at least. I know I'm not crazy either, its what I really feel...

After all, nobody knows their children better than their Mother does.

The sad thing is, is that Vidya won't tell me whats wrong. Its very possible that even she doesn't know whats wrong, but she won't even say 'I don't know, Mum!' or anything. Its always 'Naah, I'm fine Mum! No worries!'...only in her own Viddy-language. Its worrying me, it really is...But I also have to give her credit for being consistant. Apparently, she's not telling anybody whats wrong, not Nio, not Adonis...hell, not even MIEKE for crying out loud! And Vidya ADORES Mieke!

I don't know...but I have to figure it out, or at least get some answers from her. We'll see...I really hope this blows over, I can't stand to watch Vidya get this tired; Its just not right.

Quest: Part One
The Silver Chain; Its for Friendship!

"Vidya...could you come here please? And don't do that." Mieke's voice came from the nursery upstairs; and the room was able to get a clear view of the staircase...which was where Vidya currently was.

Vidya looked innocently over her shoulder, staring at her sister as if she were crazy...she wasn't doing anything at all! ...Well...aside from sitting on the banister and getting ready to slide down it she wasn't doing anything. She had to do SOMETHING to keep herself awake, right? Seeing Mieke shake her head, Vidya decided to be a good girl, and climbed off of the banister, making her way into the nursery and to the still pregnant doe.

"Hah, thank you...I don't think Mama'll like it much if you got hurt doing that." She managed to giggle, though it fell short as another Braxton Hicks contraction hit her. She'd been going through Braxton Hicks Contractions for about a week now, and it was starting to wear her out...and really, it was showing. Vidya looked on with silent worry, knowing she was unable to help Mieke in this particular case...she'd already asked about helping the doe.

"Nuu...Me not get hurted...Viddy's done it a'fore!" She stated proudly, which coaxed another laugh from her elder sister.

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that...anyway! I have something for you..!" Mieke felt a strange sense of pride as she watched Vidya's face light up with anticipation and glee. She saw the tale start to lift her hand to point to herself. "Yes, for you." Mieke stated, before Vidya could even ask - The tale wasn't fully of surprise gestures when it came to gifts - she usually always pointed at herself to confirm what she was hearing...it was a silly habit, much like her insistance on telling people what she liked about them the second she meets them.

As Vidya pressed her hands together happily, Mieke reached into one of the pockets on her jacket, pulling out a silver chain with a single charm on it. With a strained sigh, she leaned over and held it out to the girl, so the charm rested on her pale hand, and the edges of the chain drapped over the sides of her palm. "This is for you...Its not much...but thank you for everything you've helped me with..." She smiled warmly at her younger sister.

The tale stared at the chain, enthralled by how shiney the silver was in the light of the nursery. Carefully she reached out and took it from the doe, holding it in both of her hands as if it were breakable. "Oh! 'Eke! Itsso pretty! THANK YOU!" She nuzzled her hands, and then stopped. "...What's it?" She questioned, lightly poking at the charm.

"Its...a friendship bracelet, sort of. Actually, its a charm bracelet, but I made it into a friendship bracelet by putting a small charm on there that I think is special." Really, how ELSE could you explain a gift like that? She watched as Vidya looked over the charm, which was pretty simple by design; just a small silver heart with the words "For my dear sister" engraved on the back. Mieke was happy she'd finally given it to her sister, she'd been meaning to for the longest time.

"Friend-ship bracelet..." Vidya repeated to herself, looking over the charm again. She could somewhat understand the words on the back...they were pretty simple, after all! After the gift giving, the two lapsed into idle banter, mainly based around the babies, the bracelet, and why its not proper for a girl wearing a tunic to slide down the banister.

Eventually though, Vidya left to go to her and her Brother's room, plunking herself down on the bed. "Friend-ship bracelet." She confirmed, looking at it. "Charm bracelet, only speshuler...'cause people who are special to you give you a charm?" She tapped her chin with the small silver heart. "Viddy's friends speshul to me...so me ask to get charms from all my friends to put on bracelet?" She mused, leaning her head to the side. The more she thought about it, the more she liked the idea. "Yes! Viddy get Special charms from friends! An'add'em to tha bracelet...Okay!" Sure, she mixed up what Mieke had told her, but hey...it all worked out in the end. Like a girl on a mission, Vidya slid from her bed with the bracelet on her small blue hand, and took off out of the room, going to go ask Donny for a charm for her bracelet.

"Dooonn-nnniieee!"

(( Ahem. This is the end of this one. a.a But just to put a disclaimer here, Dragonfly was the one who came up with the charm bracelet idea! LOVE HER I TELL YOU. =D -Enoh ))

Quest: Part Two
Goin' through the attic! - Adding to her collection

Thud.

Thud.

ThudThudThudThudThud.

"Viddy, what on earth are you doing?" Came Enoh's voice from the living room.

"Slidin' down tha stairs." Came a rather proud reply.

"...Why?"

"'Cause 'Eke said Me can't slide down tha rail?"

"...Oh. As long as you don't hurt yourself, I guess..."

"'Kay! Viddy stay safe, promises! Ah Mama?"

"Yes?"

"...Whattcha doin'?" By this time, Vidya had gotten over the initial 'pain' of sliding down the stairs on her butt, and had wandered into the living room...only to find it completely and utterly filled with boxes, both closed and half-opened, with their contents partially within them, and partially on the floor.

"I'm going through all these boxes...Its the stuff we managed to salvage from the house when the tower fell, and now I've finally got the time to organize all of it..." She let out a sigh. Enoh's version of spring cleaning? Most definately....and in September, too! Go figure that one out. Vidya wandered over and sat infront of one of the boxes, tipping it over so she could see inside...

...and sneezed on the dust.

"Ew. S'all dusty...OH! Plushie!" She squeaked, taking one of the items from the box she was looking in. It was a slightly dusty sheep plushie, so naturally it would have caught her attention. She snuggled it after dusting it off, and with a renewed sense of adventure, she set it aside and started to go back through the box, finding all kinds of little trinkets, toys, pictures...everything. After a good half hour of just box-searching, she finally turned to her Mother, who was trying to undo the bigger mess that Vidya was making on top of organizing the boxes she was currently working on. "Momma?"

"Yeah?" Enoh's response was half-assed, to say the least; she was trying to figure out where on Gaia she got a single kitten slipper.

"Can Viddy keep some things?"

"Keep them? ...Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to get rid of some of this junk...some of the things here I did buy for you, but lost them and forgot about them after the tower fell...So...Sure, if you find something you like, you may keep it, Vidya...as long as you clean it up, alright?"

"Oh YAY. Thank you, Momma!" She squealed gleefully, hugging her mother before disappearing into the mounds of boxes.

Of course, the tale decided to keep the first plushie she'd found, and after dusting it off, she found it was much, MUCH cuter than she'd originally guessed...which was a pleasant surprise. It hadn't taken her long to find a matching Bunny plush, a bug-like plush an octipus plush, a series of pencils with funny tops (one had a white sash wrapped around it, which Vidya found amusing to no end), twin plushies that looked like fat bunnies (but were SO cute!), a pretty necklace with a prettier jewel on it, three wind chimes (Enoh told her that the one with the Sun on it meant energy, which she was equally sure Vidya didn't need), a small charm-ish pin that had her name in another pretty blue jewel (Enoh had to explain that this was her Birthstone, since she was 'born' in March...Vidya STILL doesn't get it, but she thinks its pretty, so who cares?), and a couple other trinkets like a fake key, an "ex" pin, a heart with jewels on it, a red candle, and a feather pen.

By the time both Author and Tale had cleaned everything up, not only were there still a lot of boxes left, but Vidya had a rather good collection of 'things' now...which she was more than happy with, of course. Now all that was left was to hull her collection to her room - which she accomplished with the help of her mother.

Once everything was upstairs, the tale was left to sort out what went where...and what went to who. Somehow, she knew it would be another long time before Enoh got up the will to bring down all those boxes again, so she decided to give some of her findings to her brother...since that would only be fair. She set aside the windchime with the sun on it, the jeweled heart and "ex", the fuzzy bunny plushie, the darker of the twin bunnies, the purple octipus, and two of her pencils (The Bunny hat one, and the Spinel-sun one (he's the one who looks like the angry blue kitty) =D), leaving them on Adonis' side of the bed for him to find.
