Ruby recognized the voice right away, and her reaction was to try to pull Acione's hands away. "Acione, I know it is you" Ruby laughed. She pulled his hands off and turned around to face him.

"Okay, guys. I see what you mean now. I'm going downstairs for a while to read and pray. When I come back, I'll be as fearless as Jesse." She chuckled for a moment and began down the stairs. "Oh, that was a compliment, Jes. Don't take any offense to it," Roxy said as she poked her head back around the corner, then continued down the stairs.
When she reached her room, she flicked on the lights inside, then closed and locked the door so she could be alone with God for a while.
"God, let's be real, here. I'm a little scared. I know I shouldn't be, but that raid this morning was really close to home. I know I shouldn't be fearing death, because on the other side of this life is your Kingdom... so I don't quite understand why I am afraid. I really need your strength right now, God. Empower me so that I might become a mighty pillar of faith. Lord, help me not to doubt my life on this earth. I realize that you called us to follow you all the time in Matthew 8:20, and I think I now fully understand what you meant when you said, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." God, I want you to be a shining light through my words and actions, that You would be glorified..."
A few minutes later, Roxy finished chatting with God. She felt almost... high. "I think I just need to chill out for a while and vibe." She pulled her iPod from it's dock and put the distinctive earbuds in. As a listener of spoken word and rap music, one of her favorite playlists was a soft sequence of deep Christian rap songs. She laid on her bed and listened until she fell asleep...

"Hey." Acoine said. "Do you want to go shoot off some bullets with me?" Acoine asked Ruby. They both recognized eachothers fondness of eachother but were each embaresed to talk about it, up until now.

Ruby thought for a moment, she wasn't too fond of guns, but that may be because she wasn't ever taught how to use one. She looked at her feet, quietly she mumbled "I don't know how", kind of embarassed at herself.

"I would say catch a movie, but I remember where we are and... Oh you said where. Forget about it now." They wen out and shot off a few rounds.
"WOW you're a natural at shooting." Acoine said as they walked back to the main biulding.

"Thanks" Ruby said as they walked back to the building. She had caught on quickly. She knew there was an attraction between them, but she didn't want to say anything about it, she was afraid that if something went wrong it would ruin their friendship, which was very important to her.

"See ya" she said as Acione walked into the building. She stood outside, and then turned and went to her home. There, Ruby took her bible and began reading a little bit.

Azalia returned to the building. "Well, that went better than expected," She said to no one in particular. "I didn't even see anybody out there. But, all the soldiers are probably out celebrating the 'good job' they did killing those fifty-sum people."

Mia had since wandered into her room, and had begun to draw. She was illustrating one of her favorite Bible stories. She shuddered at the sound of the guns, then went back to her picture and colored it. She had been strying to avoid everyone else, because she felt she had said too much earlier.

Not really knowing what to do with herself, Azalia decided to make dinner. She checked all the cabinets. Hmm, I think we're going to have to have a bit of a hodge-podge tonight, she thought, pulling various things from the shelves. She put some water in a pot on the stove to boil, and preheated the oven.

Steven dropped the spray piant can he was holding and stepped back to enjoy his little message.Smiling to himself as he siad,"May the good Lords word be spread to teach his childern." taking in the spray pianted message of Proverbs 3:5-6 on the Billboard.Putting his hood up as he began to walk away whistling on his way to the ARM base.When there he took his creative monkey like way in by climbing up to the secound story window and jumping in making as little noise as possible only to be followed by Steven screaming at the top of his lungs,"Hello chaps how are we doing this fine day"
