i personally disliked barret because he is.....well an idiot and a conceited b*****d. i feel sorry for him for what happened in coral though. i hate and love sephiroth i love him because he so cool and because he is like the ultimate villian (except for maybe cefca but nobody likes him) but the dirty stinking b*****d killed aeris, when i saw her die i cried and shouted profanities at the screen. so yeah i hate and love sephiroth. i completely despise lozz.

AkuGensho People always hate me for saying this... But I hate Aeris. I was happy when she died, too. I laughed. Yes I laughed too and did a song and little dance. LunarSong Huh, can't believe I missed this thread.
When it comes to what character I hate, it's definitely Aeris. And why?
I could list many.
One of the many being, she hid behind the facade that she was innocent. I mean, she wasn't EVIL or anything, and sure she was 'considerate', but she was a flirt. And, it all started because she *thought* Cloud looked like Zack. Later on, she feeds us bullcrap about how she is now getting to know the *real* Cloud. It's safe to say that she was seeing Zack from the very start. :/
When it comes to her and Cloud, she seems to be only concerned for the two of THEM. When Tifa is around, she has no shame. She'll still put the moves on Cloud even though she definitely KNOWS Tifa likes him as well as she. Tifa is the one who would back off in those situations. Things were akward between the two girls, but they didn't hate eachother. If it's safe to consider them friends, then why would Aeris do that to a FRIEND?
I think, if you really see past her perfect esque, you get a selfish girl, you really do.
Arguement= "So selfish she saved the planet?"
YES. Wanting to sacrifice her life for the planet could of been something she knew she HAD to do. Something that was in her 'ancient' instincts, or because she was the only one who could do it.(Also meaning, she had to do it.)
And who's to say she wasn't really doing it all for Cloud, anyways?
People SAY she's the most straightforward, but that's not really true at all. :/ She's actually quite mysterious, if you think about it. I know, it's a hard concept, but Aeris in all actuality is NOT innocent.
Not one tiny bit. I completely agree with you 100% but I think you only hit the tip of the ice burg. pirate-wh0re Aerith. She was dumb and was all like "Hey Tifa, lets be friends even though I'm fliirting right in front of you with the man you love." If I were Tifa, I'll be all like"Psssshhhhh! *smack!*" Yeah Aeris is just lucky that Tifa is as nice as she is. I would have beat the crap out of her.

Yuffie Hojo I hated Aeris!!!! That dumb whore got me in trouble too my b rother and i yelled "yes the b***h is dead!!!!!!!!!" we laughed and my dad got HELLA pissed at us, told us we were sick, and grounded us for a day. stupid aeris!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i didnt' like cloud or tifa. or red. i'm basically pro shinra i only really liked Yuffie in the game. oh barret was cool too My brother and i laughed so hard and yelld " OMG! HOW COULD U NOT LIKE CLOUD LADY ITS CLOUD WE'RE TLKIN ABT! mad

I never liked Aeris either. It's her preppy attitude, bubbly and active that annoys me. And her one-tracked mind= Cloud. It's painful to see Tifa having to take the backseat since she's so shy and conservative. And Cloud's a knucklehead who can't see anything. (Since he's blond xd ) Anyways, you see, I'm a Cloti fan, yeah......

Damn, an entire page of Aeris hate... You do not know how much my eyes water when I read this. You don't know how much my heart feels like it is about to shatter when I read that stuff..
I just don't see WHY you can hate a person like that, man... I mean, maybe it's because she was like my first girlfriend, and because my first girlfriend died in a car crash, but damn! To hate someone like that just really hurts me, man....
The girl was a saint, did what she did to help make the world a better place, and died on her quest to better the world, man. Freakin' died for her friends, her family, and the people out there. If you can hate someone like that, who can you love? Seriously... It just hurts, man...

There's only two people I truly hated.
One would be Hojo. That guy denied the woman that had bore "his son" to even see her son. Not only that, but he had experimented on that damn kid... Sorry...
Lucrecia was mislead, man. Vincent couldn't say how he felt for her, so she decided to go with what her mind told her when she was twisted, broken, and confused. She just did that for science, not love, yet Hojo took that and not only messed up the young and eventually the old Sephiroth, but shot Vincent in the damn heart! Damn broke it, man!
Then when Lucrecia tried to heal him and bring him to life, he only laughed. He couldn't see the love, because he didn't know what it was. He thought she was just using "this perfect specimen for her new experiment," or some bull like that....
I swear to God, THAT is someone to hate... Not Lady Gainsborough, man...

I like everyone really, but I must say if I had to choose Tifa would be since I've never been much of a fan. I mean she is pretty, but I just think she naggs alot.

The nagging thing, it's sort of a motherly trait, you know? They nag at you, and sometimes they can get annoying, but they just mean well and nothing negative. It's like how Cloud is being all distant, and she wants him to be a little more open. She knows he misses Aeris and doesn't want to forget her, but she just nags him because she doesn't want him to forget her, too. I got a stalker/friend like that at my school. She nags me a lot, and is very clingy, but she just wants me to be happy. Scary, but she means well, and nothing really bad... How come I always find real life examples of FF7? I dunno, maybe you're crazy Jhay-R... I dunno, maybe you're right voice in my head...

How could you anyone say they hate a character, especially one like aeris? It makes me sad and disturbs me to read how some of you reacted to aeris's death. Yes there are a few characters I dont like very much (Hojo, Tifa- different reasons) but I wouln't wish death apon them, although hojo cloud ude a taste of his own medicine.
