Ve continues wandering, trying to avoid anything that wants to eat her brains out...trying to find Kaleidojoes...but she realizes that her own worst trait has bit her in the a** again, she is incredably lost...she sees a book store with a sign that says "complimentary mall maps" and she wanders inside.

Walks to KaleidaJoes, skirts flowing behind me. "Sorry I'm late guys, I had some things to tie up. Now we can really kick some zombie a**." Pulling out my 44 magnums, I'm ready to kill some zombies. . . (haha, killing dead things, hilarious.) "Who lost Ve? You guys can't do anything with out me." wink ::shooting zombies as I walk I look to make sure everyone is okay::

Leap! Ground rushes up... keep running.
Gunfire ahead, zombies behind.
Too many... put the girl down.
Oops... dropped her. Keep going.
No worries, she'll follow quickly.
Faster. Don't stop yet... almost there.

She screams at him as he disappears into the distance. Gunshots can be heard further down the hallway.

My heart beats hard reminding me that my life's in danger as I exit the Depot... I turn my head and KaleidoJoes comes into view and my ears fill with the sound that emanates from the eight zombies feasting on the couple of bodies that have been dragged together...
No time to lose... get there now... chose your shots...
My guns are in my hands and I take off down the tiled floor toward the store with the sign bearing a Llama with an assault rifle in it's hooves...
The zombies see me... fresh meat... they turn and start coming at me but I'm ready for 'em...
By the time I'm in range a bullet has collided with two of their heads and they fall with a slump. I flip over the remaining six... feet hit the ground... dive... body rotates and I empty the rest of the clips into them... taking three more down...
Three to go...
I try to get to my feet but... something grabs and keep me down... I look down... severed hand... make that severed hands...
I wrestle my way to my feet and the hands crawl quick and quiet all over my body... by then the three remaining, but handless, deadites have reached me...
They attack... I vault over them and knock them to the ground with a flash my sword is in my hand and their heads on the ground. But the hands still crawl on me like fist sized spiders... I can't catch them...
"Ahhh..."
I finally grab one and toss it to the floor, I stomp hard enough to know that the crunch I hear is its fingers breaking... the other one is quicker... I throw it to the ground and it scitters away.... I reload in an instant and start firing at it... it's fast... barely dodging each bullet... somehow it launches itself toward me... only to meet with a bullet from my Colt...
I turn back toward Joes... there are already people there... maybe together we can formulate some kind of plan... maybe...

Don't tell me to calm down! Who are you?! And who is SHE?! And what's up with all the oddly discoloured people trying to kill us!? scream
Celene stood there incredulous of the situation, her breathing an unsteady pace of panic. The creepy guy didn't even spare her time to look over his shoulder. . . He just kept staring at that other girl. Kept staring as if she were better than Celene in some way. Crossing her arms, she opens her mouth to scream some more.
Quiet . . . You might want to quiet thyself... we've more than zombies to worry about now... ninja
Celene just stood there in shock.

Stand alone... make sure I've their full attention.
Zombies still. Only one thing could make zombies still.
...and the blood cloak... only one thing could make it shift.
Shifting as it is... A screech. A flap. Here it comes...
"Vampyre."
Ready thyself... for the immortal.
That which is dead, AND cannot be killed.
Not many can stop it...
I can.
"Run thy'selves to safety... this one's for me."
It lands, quicker than it can be seen.
Face twisted. A horrible figure of doom.
It eyes the blood'scarf.
It still believes it can defeat me.
Only a fledging would.
...yet a fledging with wings?

Safety? Yeah right! I can take this thing! . . and I know there's no way YOU could, because it's just WAY creepier than you are! blaugh
Celene leaps forth, seizing the opportunity as the Vampyre awaits the creepy guy's first strike. Landing in front of it, she stabs quickly with her tail. A large gash appears upon the Vampyre's chest . . . blood spills forth, but remains floating directly outside its body.
Immediately the wound begins to heal.

Blood floating. Time to show it how.
How I will kill it.
Scarf moves before I do.
Blood absorbed, the Vampyre's wound heals.
Time to strike...
It strikes first, but not at me.
Agile. Graceful. Step quickly.
Vampyre stabs me ... the girl is safe.

Celene feels a wrenching in her gut, as she realizes she can see the Vampyre's claw protruding out of the creepy guy's back. Slowly she steps away, as the blood begins flowing from his wound... just as it had from the wound of the Vampyre. Again, that strange scarf shifted, and absorbed the floating liquid. His wounds were healing faster than the Vampyre's!
I.. I'm sorry! sweatdrop
Don't be sorry... be making yourself scarce... ninja
She watched him take a step back . . . feeling disgust as the Vampyre claw slowly slid out of the wound it had made. He couldn't possibly win.

I spot Ve going into a bookstore.
"Ve, wait! Where are you going?" I look to see more zombies approaching.
"Damn..." My bow is in my hands again, I loose a few shadow bolts and switch to my sword. The blade glows with a green aura and begins to grow in size and morph into something new. The blade became wavy with a large skull at the hilt, the sword had become the legendary Soul Reaver, weapon of the once leader of the vampires. It had chosen a new master and that was me, I knew what needed to be done and got a sense of just how big this situation must be for this weapon to resurface. I quickly begin slicing through the fel beasts like they were made of butter. My ear twitches and I quickly make a backward thrust with the blade, impaling a rear assailant. The bloodlust overtakes me and soon the 27 zombies that once were attacking me, lay in nothing but small chunks of meat on the ground. My eyes return to their normal grey color and I remember what I was doing. I take another look at the sword in my hand and place it on my back.
"Ve, come with me. I can show you where the others are gathering."
