Takiko-chan Ginger Snapple I started with Ceres, last year. My first Ceres book was in German, so then I started ordering them in English. I fell in love with the series right away. (And so did my "friends" who used me as a library, and the only thing I really heard most of them say was "Can I borrow a book?") Ha, my friends use me as a library too. When a new volume of FY was released, I lent it to one of my friends. Instead of giving it back to me, she always gave to the other person in the line. And my mangas go around through my friends 'till everyone read it so I can get it back. I was fine with lending out books until they passed it on to some girl I didn't know. And then, the last book my friend borrowed was passed onto a girl, who let her friend rip one of the pages almost completly out of the book. Good thing it wasnt a Yu Watase book, or I would've been hungry for blood e_e;

Many pages were ripped out of it. I almost made my friend purchase a new one for me. xd If it was by Yuu Watase, I would definitely make her pay.

XD. If we had a Barns and Nobels or a book store that actually sold decent manga, I would have made her buy it back for me. It's unfair to damage someones expensive manga books and just say "Oh, sorry." TT

I guess Alice 19th is my greatest interest in Yu Watase's area; so if we start there, I'd say about 2 or 3 months. I'm also interested in CERES. I tried FY, but I couldn't really take it, so no luck there with me.

HeirToTheShadows my friend kassia lend me the FY ova series in 2002, and i've been a fan since! blaugh bravoooo!! blaugh *refers to past posts* thats the thing i usually get used for...there was one "friend" who started out like any other friend but when she learned i had manga, she just went crazy. all she ever did was bug me about whether i brought another manga for her, and she would constantly ask her parents if she could come over to my house just to read the whole day stare it pisses me off to get used, especially like that...she ended up moing though and leeching off her anime club's library of manga and anime so i dont know...everyone knows about me asking my friend about borrowing her FY anime but seriously, i only asked her politely everyday because she forgot it for 2 weeks. and it was only that series too so nothing big...
the friend who did use me though (alex) ...i had another friend named karissa and she borrowed manga too but we were "real" (i think) she had borrowed my AnC manga when i first got it and without telling me lent it to her other friend marissa, then marissa lent it to alex and thats how it all started (confused much? @.@) so alex ended up ripping one of the pages almost right down the middle. she felt so bad she gave me 10 bucks to buy another one but i never did since its a waste of money in my opinion to get another copy if its still readable and it was your first. i treasure "firsts" a lot (none of those minds in the gutters people xp )

I got addicted to Yuu Watase's work since I was 10. That was almost 6 years ago eek I remember looking at Evangelion merch at some comic store, and then I saw an issue of Animerica Extra with a picture of the Fushigi Yugi beach scene as the front cover. I bought it and I got instantly hooked to the story.

Over 6 years ago I read about this anime called... Fushigi Yuugi. xp I ended up renting the first videotape from Blockbuster and got hooked. Bad. It became my poison of choice for the longest time. I then saw the AyaCere anime a year or so later and got hooked on that. I began to read her manga maybe about 5 years ago? Yep, hooked again, but even more so because the manga series are better than the anime counterparts.
