Yuki hesitated, and then very slowly nodded her head. "W-water?" she asked uncertaintly. That really was the only thing she could think of. She had tried other drinks before, but she seemed to have forgotten them as well.

Looking through the menu for a moment then confusion got to her also, she heard Yuki question and she remembered she never heard of Italian food before either. Letting out a small blush in embarrassment, she looks at Demetrius secretly to give him the hint that she had no idea either on what to order.

Demetrius turned to the waiter. "Two waters and a glass of red wine please." He said. Then turning to the girls. "I see that you've never had Italian food before." Going to the menu he browsed. "How about we share some tortellini stuffed with shrimp? You can't go wrong with pasta."

Yuki slowly nodded, her ears perked and alert as she listened closely to what he'd ordered. She was slightly relieve she wasn't the only one who was confused though. She let out a sigh and dropped her gaze to the table. "Pa... sta.." she repeated cluelessly to herself, trying to recall what exactly that was.
But she was distracted again when her eyes fell upon the candle that sat on the table. They widened as another scene flashed through her head. She was sitting with a male at a table, across from him. They seemed to be in a simple dining hall, and there was a candle between them. But the male was in shadow, so she couldn't make out his face... She blinked a couple times, and the image faded, though she was still staring at the candle.

Watching Demetrius and Yuki order their food, she suddenly didn't feel that hungry anymore. Putting the menu in front of her on the table, she place her hands on her lap to keep herself calm from what was going around the room. Looking to her side to see who was hear, she only hear many laugher and talking. Giving out a look, she only wish the room was quiet to have her mind in peace on what to think.
((Have a good night sleep you too. I'll be sticking around here a bit then go off to bed ^^ Nice roleplaying with you two!!))

Jacob followed her "Um..... What's chivolrous mean?" he asked, as he followed her out. He probably should know this word after living so long, he'd heard it before, somewhere...

Olivia couldn't help but snort with laughter. "It's when a man is polite to a lady. I suppose you could also call them gentlemen." Her eyes twinkled with laughter.

As the server brought the drinks Demetrius leaned back and sighed. He took a sip of the wine, it's deep color staining his lips red. "It's strange, you never truly know where life will take you or the people you shall meet." He looked at each of them, his eyes amused. "I for one never expected my day to turn out sitting in a restaurant with two girls. I suppose you really can't know what to expect."

Yuki snapped out of her daze, lifting her head to stare at him for a moment. Then she nodded, and glanced back to the table. She never would have expected to just find herself standing in the entrance gates of a school, with not a thing in her head, no memories of any sort.
She let out a sigh as she reached for her cup, but it caught in her throat a second later. As soon as her fingers had grassed the glass, the entire thing had frozen over. She jumped in alarm, knocking it to its side, but it didn't spill. It was just a large chunk of ice now, laying on its side on the table top. Yuki stared at it through wide eyes, not even blinking.

Demetrius had jumped, expecting water to be spilling everywhere. But instead a chunk of solid ice the shape of the cup fell out as the glass shattered. Demetrius looked at Yuki with an interesting look in his eyes. "Interesting. Very...interesting." He said, tilting his head slightly.

"True," Jacob agreed. "It would be shallow of a person to do things for people just to manipulate them or something, but I choose to avoid those types of people" he said. "So shall we be off then?"

Yuki stared blankly at the cup, then shifted her gaze to Demetrius, before looking back to the table. She had her hand held in the air in front of herself, making sure not to touch anything. How had she done that?! But despite herself, she couldn't help reaching out and tapping the table top with a finger. Whever she touched, a small circle of ice would spread, growing larger the longer she left her fingers on the table. Her eyes were wide as she did this little.. experiement.
